List complete. ============================== 200: FAQ Explained \ =============================================================================== This is a Plants list along with best uses and tips. The list is complete as of April 15th 2015 update. Future added plants will be updated in the FAQ. ====================== 300: Plants \ =============================================================================== _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 301: Sunflower -----------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 50 Sunflowers are essential for sun production which in turn lets you plant more plants and better plan your defense. This plant can take a few bites so it’s balanced between tough and weak. A group attack will kill it very fast though. Thankfully it recharges fast. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 302: Peashooter ----------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Normal Range: Straight Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 100 Peashooters are the first available and arguably the best low cost defense line. Planting 3 in a raw will most likely stop any enemy. The fast recharge and normal Toughness is what makes this plant great. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 303: Wall-nut ------------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: High Damage: n/a Range: Straight Recharge: Sluggish Sun cost: 50 The ultimate defense plant. Very though against most enemy types. Takes very long to be eaten which gives you time to plan a defense or plant something behind it. Very cheap to reproduce. Plant 2 in a row for best defense. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 304: Potato Mine ---------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Massive Range: Tile Recharge: Sluggish Sun cost: 25 Takes some time to be ready but once is; kills nearby enemies with one explosion. A very powerful one time use plant but needing the time to be armed is something that needs to be considered in mid battle. Very cheap to reproduce, plant in advance. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 305: Bloomerang ----------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Normal Range: Multi-Hit Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 175 Bloomerang is a very powerful plant as it can hit up to 3 targets twice. Planting two in a row along with other attack or defense plant can almost always lead to victory. The only downside is that its little costly and kind of slow against fast zombies. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 306: Cabbage-pult --------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Normal Range: Lobbed Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 100 Good for attacking further enemies at different lines. Not an aggressive plant but good as an extra long range attacker. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 307: Iceberg Lettuce -----------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: n/a Range: Touch Recharge: Sluggish Sun cost: 0 Iceberg Lettuce is a slowdown plant as it freezes zombies for a short period of time giving you more space to think and plant. Since its free, use it as much as you can saving precious time. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 308: ---------------------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: n/a Damage: n/a Range: Touch Recharge: Mediocre Sun cost: 0 Grave Buster is not a normal plant and can only be used on graves. A onetime use and the grave is gone. Free but useful as graves keep popping up. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 309: Twin Sunflower ------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: n/a Range: Touch Recharge: Mediocre Sun cost: 125 Costly but you get what you pay for. Replace the normal Sunflowers with these once you get the sun and time. Faster and more sun production is the key to a successful defense line and Twin Sunflower gives you exactly that. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 310: Bonk Choy -----------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Heavy Range: Close Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 150 Costly but effective against normal zombies. Repeatedly punches close zombies but I don’t recommend it due to cost and very short range attack. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 311: Repeater ------------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Moderate+ Range: Straight Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 200 The best value for its cost and personal favorite. Place it with a Wall-nut and any other plant and you got yourself a dangerous team. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 312: Snow Pea ------------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Normal Range: Straight Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 175 Slows enemies down due to firing frozen peas. A good but costly alternative to Peashooter. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 313: Kernel-pult ---------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Light Range: Lobbed Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 100 While not a heavy damage, still a very important plant due to its butter attack which gets fired randomly and totally freezes the target for a couple of seconds. Normal attacks are useful as well especially as it can attack any target at any line. The normal sun requirement makes this a considerable choice. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 314: Snapdragon ----------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Moderate Range: Close+ Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 150 Snapdragon can attack zombies up to 6 tiles in front so it is above average. The attack itself is not bad but considering the price it’s not something used often. A good front attack plant. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 315: Power Lily ----------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: n/a Range: n/a Recharge: Very Slow Sun cost: 175 Instantly creates one Plant Food. A onetime use plus a huge sun cost makes this plant’s impact questionable not to mention a slow recharge rate. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 316: Spikeweed -----------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: High Damage: Normal Range: Tile Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 100 Cannot be eaten but can be crashed by the rolling zombie which in turn destroys it. Hurts any other type once walked on. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 317: Coconut Cannon ------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Huge Range: 3x3 Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 400 Once manually fired, explodes in a straight range causing damage to the nearby zombies. A very powerful explosion tool but sadly overpriced making it difficult to consider. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 318: Cherry Bomb ---------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: n/a Damage: Massive Range: 3x3 Recharge: Slow Sun cost: 150 Causes a Massive explosion killing nearby zombies. Very affordable and useful in a sticky situations where time is not an option and immediate action is needed. Save it for when you really need it. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 319: Spring Bean ---------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: n/a - Death Range: Touch Recharge: Sluggish Sun cost: 50 A somehow useful defense plant that will push back a zombie once stepped on. If water is nearby, it will push the zombie into it instantly killing it. Goes to sleep for a while after every attack. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 320: Spikerock -----------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Moderate Range: Tile Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 250 Can take up to three hits from rolling zombies while destroying them. Cannot be eaten. The cost makes this a an important plant in the Pirate Seas world. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 321: Threepeater ---------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Normal Range: Multi-Lane Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 300 Fires 3 shots a time but expansive to reproduce. Fires in 3 lanes so it’s not a massive damage plant. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 322: Squash --------------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Massive Range: Close Recharge: Sluggish Sun cost: 50 Single use, instant kill. Cheap to reproduce but takes time. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 323: Torchwood -----------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Moderate+ Range: Straight Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 175 Doubles the damage caused by peas that pass through. Best used with Repeater. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 324: Jalapeno ------------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: n/a Damage: Massive Range: Lane Recharge: Slow Sun cost: 125 Destroys all zombies in a single lane with a onetime use. Use on dangerous zombies or a lane with a huge crowd. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 325: Imitater ------------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: ??? Damage: ??? Range: ??? Recharge: ??? Sun cost: ??? Imitates other plants allowing you to use the same plant twice during a level. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 326: Marigold ------------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: n/a Damage: n/a Range: n/a Recharge: n/a Sun cost: n/a Gives you coin rewards in Zen Garden. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 327: Starfruit -----------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Normal Range: 5 Way Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 125 Shots in 5 directions making it a high priced support plant. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 328: Hypno-shroom --------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: n/a Damage: Normal Range: Single Recharge: Sluggish Sun cost: 75 Makes the zombie who eat it fight for you. A low cost defense plant that may save you sometime while the victim fights another zombie. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 329: Pea-nut -------------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: High Damage: Normal Range: Straight Recharge: Mediocre Sun cost: 150 A Wall-nut alternative that also deals damage to zombies. Costly but effective. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 330: Chomper -------------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Single Range: Close Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 150 Swallows a whole zombie but takes time chewing which opens it for attacks. Costly and not that effective. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 331: Homing Thistle ------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Moderate Range: Anywhere Recharge: Mediocre Sun cost: 250 Fires seeking shots at targets closest to home. Strange and somehow effective but not cheap. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 332: Hurrikale -----------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: n/a Range: Lane Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 100 Blows a wind that pushes the zombies back and knocks off any flying zombies with a single use. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 333: Fire Peashooter -----------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Normal Range: Straight Recharge: Fast Sun cost: 175 Immune to frost, this plant fires a line of fire followed by a firing pea. Unfreeze nearby plants. _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 334: Dandelion -----------------------------------------------------------' Toughness: Typical Damage: Heavy Range: Multi-Lane Recharge: Mediocre Sun cost: 275 Sends splash bombs straight and above/bellow lines. Additionally, if Blover or Hurrikale is used, two Dandelions on screen in the case of Blover, or two in its lane if Hurrikale is used, will release 12 small bombs, and then have to recharge before they can start attacking again. ====================== 400: Closing \ =============================================================================== _______________________________________________________________________________ '-- 410: Contacts ------------------------------------------------------------' I may be contacted any time via my email, Twitter or Blog.
