I am Know replaying the game to correct possible mistakes. So be patient.I´ll try to add new information as soon as possible. This faq is dedicated to the memory of my father Manuel Salcedo (1948-2000) I would also thank my girlfriend Laura for her support. Let´s go! ===================================================================== 1-TOP SECRETS ===================================================================== 1.1:GET EVERY ITEM IN THE GAME!!!!!! Yes...You Know this game has a high encounter rate,but monsters rarely drop an item. Each type of monster has his own item (see Monster list),and Only carries one for each battle,so if you use this method well you could get every item in the game and many of the same type (What about getting unlimited Ice staves?). There are many items that you can only get by forcing an enemy to drop it. There are two ways to do that: MAGIC: MUDDLE LV2 USING AN ITEM: DEMON STAFF USING MUDDLE LV2: You will have to wait untill you are on exp level 42 for Pyra to learn this Spell.Then,when you are in battle use it. If it works,some or all monsters will go mad,then you just have to put Milo and Pyra the Defend option and the main caracter to use a "nothing happens item,like the armor he is wearing",then if you wait some turns and the enemy don´t flee from battle you will get a message saying: " (insert monster name here) hands over his treasure " An you get a new item for your collection. If the effect of the spell wears off just cast a new one. Unfortunately this method consumes MP and the spell fails usually.So I´ll recomend the next method. USING THE DEMON STAFF: Although it´s called DEMON staff it´s not cursed if you equip it.The curse comes when you use it.The Staff will create a fog that will muddle your party and all monsters in battle. The effect could possibly be like a muddle Lv3 spell.(I CALL IT TOTAL MADNESS). First you should unequip all your weapons,this way you won´t kill the monster whose item you want and just defend your party or use a no effect item.The rate of the monster handing over his treasure is really high. Unfortunately sometimes you will kill the monster before getting his item,but don´t worry.There are unlimited monsters, just wait untill another one of the same type appear. They are sorted by type and power (Attack or Defense). Keys to the list: Name: The name of the item C/D/B:"D" means it can be bought at the Weapon or Armor Shop under the "Deals" option. "C" means that the item is cursed. "B" means the item would broke if it is used too much under the use command in battle (Hands Weapons only) Cost: In Gold coins value Atp+: Weapon factor value,attack. Dfp+: Armor factor value,defense. User: The caracter who can use the item "Y" means it can be used by the Main Caracter (YOU) "M" means it can be used by Milo "P" that can be used by Pyra. SP: The item special power "No" means it has no special magic powers. "#2" means the weapon hits twice the same foe or different foes in the same group in one turn. This applies to "Flail type" weapons "#G" means the weapon hits in one turn,but only once, all enemies in the same group.       Well: Here is the 1st version list of CURSED ITEMS AND THEIR CURSE

           CURSE: An energy Backslash hits Pyra everytime she attacks
                  for 25% damage of the total damage caused to the enemy

                  If you hit for 12 points damage you will receive 3 points
                  Of damage.
                  If you hit for 10 of damage you will receive 3
                  (because you cannot recieved 2.5 points of damage,the same
                   goes if the percentage leads you to 2.3 or 2.7 damage)

           NAME : HEX WHIP
           USER : PYRA
           CURSE: Pyra may be tangled in the whip an unable to move for
                  some turns.You may regain movement before the battle ends.
                  I am trying to calculate the % of being tangled and regain
                  movement.

     10.1: BLESSED ITEMS PROPERTIES THEORY

      The vision spell reveals that some rare items marked with
      the deal type have some special properties.I don´t know what
      is that supposed special use or property.If you know of their
      use e-mail me and I will put your discoveries in the next version
      of the faq.

      Here is the list of those items:

        SUN ARMOR (The blessing: PROTECTION AGAINST FIRE )
        ELVEN HOOD
        LIGHT ROBE
        MITHRIL ARMOR

                    The vision spell reveals:
                    It´s blessed with power.It might have other uses

        THEORY: Protection against Magic and Status effect spells or attacks;

     10.2: UNKNOWN MONSTERS ITEMS

           There are some monsters I still doesn´t know what item they
           drop or hand.Usually because they appear before getting the
           Demon Staff or the Muddle Lv2 Spell.
           And some of them ´case this two methods don´t even work.
           If you ever discovered what they kept (Maybe you were lucky
           enough and they dropped the item or by cheating with an Action
           Replay or Game Genie) e-mail me.
           It will be a top contribition if they are really rare items.

           The monsters are 3: Handeater,Dark Knight and Dark Sol.

     10.3: THE SLEEPING SENTINEL/GUARDIAN THEORY

           I am sure you notice the statue near the entrance to the cave
           of Wisdom (LEVEL 1).You checked it...Used some items in front
           of it(ORB OF TRUTH...) but nothing happens.
           Later on,when you reach LEVEL 2 there are more statues
           (SENTINEL,see monster list) and later on the game a new one
           appear (GUARDIAN),they attack you when you approach them.

           But...What is that lonely statue doing in the Level 1 dungeon?
           It seems it has no intention of attacking.
           Is it just an ornamental one to trick you when you reach the
           living ones? Well...What do you think?

           THEORY:
           It seems almost everybody thinks they are just ornamental as
           I thought.

     10.4: FOUNTAINS THEORY

           You can drop the medallion in GOLD ones (3: Lv2,Lv3,Lv4)
           You can heal your party at the Spirit Fountain (Level 5)
           But what about the other ones???

           THEORY:
           I think they are just ornamental and a help to mark your position
           in the Dungeons,just like those candles on the walls.
           And I believe that many of you agree with me.

     11.1: DON´T BELIEVE WHAT THE VISION TOLD YOU!

           The vision spell that Milo cast sometimes gives you a wrong
           description about which caracter can equip a certain weapon or
           armor.
           Here are some of those mistakes:
             LONG SPEAR: Can be used by You,Milo and Pyra but the spell
                         reveals:
                         "It´s for magic users.Milo can´t use it".

                    SHORT SPEAR
                    BRONZE KNIFE   Leave the same message
                    SHORT SWORD

           Seems like a very funny programming mistake

     11.2: HERB WATER & HOLY WATER CONTENTS

           This is really funny: Cast the vision spell on Herb Water and
           Holy Water items,it reveals.

           Herb Water: "It contains HOLY WATER"
           Holy Water: "It´s a bottle of potions and HERBS"

           Seems like a very funny programming mistake
