The only enemies able to stand after withstanding such an attack are knights due to their shield ability and the stronger bosses. I don't like him. =Skills= [Pyrobomb] ---------- Create an explosion centered on Caillou. Cost: 5 SP Think of Pyrobomb as Caillou's method of getting some breathing space. If enemies are starting to surround you, pop it and get out as soon as you can. You CAN run up to enemies and use it, but I advise against it. [Ice Mine] ---------- Create a block of ice. Enemies that touch it take damage. Cost: 5 SP Ice Mine is better used as part of a defensive strategy. Simply lay one down behind you while enemies are chasing you and watch the fun. [Sparkburst] ------------ Fires off a torrent of arcane missiles, penetrating any darkness. Cost: 5 SP on initial trigger, but can spend more to continue skill by holding X Caillou holds his ground and fires off several projectiles in a cone-shaped area in front of him. You can continue the attack by holding X if you need more power. Even though Caillou can't move while this attack is being used, you're still able to change the direction he's facing. [Gemini Force] -------------- A pair of magic shields which orbit Caillou. Send flying with the attack button! How to Learn: Reach Level 25 Cost: 25 SP Two orbs and a few more appear around Caillou. They protect him from enemies that get too close. If you press the attack button, the orbs will fly out and home in on any nearby enemies. If there is no enemy close enough, the orbs will just continue to float. [Warp] ------ Warp Caillou to another area on the dungeon floor How to Learn: Reach Level 30 Cost: 5 SP It's the same as triggering one of the warp trap chests. Caillou is transported to a different part of the dungeon floor. Nothing much to it. It's the ultimate escape mechanism, though. ++++++++ +Charme+ ++++++++ You know that one chick that's always a theif and can cut you down in just a few seconds? Yeah. Charme's that type of chick. She's not violent, though. Violence is the least of your problems with her. Don't take her to a bar and don't bring her to any kind of knight. Status: Adventurer How to Recruit: Defeat her in Jade Way Have Charme visit the store and chat with Tear Increase your relationship with her via shopping deals Have Charme visit a second time and accept her business card Shopping Times: Noon, Evening, Night Preferred Atmosphere: 3 Dark 4 Gaudy Likes: Charms Daggers Medicines Necklaces Rings Shoes Treasures Budget: Min 3000 Max 300,000 Equips: Daggers Clothes Breastplates Bracelets Hats Charms Capes Shoes Rings Notes: She can run by double-tapping in the direction you want to run. Be careful when doing this, though, since running into an enemy will hurt you and running into a wall will knock you down. She can parry by tapping the direction the attack is coming from. If performed correctly, blue sparks will fly out and the attack will be negated. If you stand next to a chest with her and an exclamation point appears above her head, then the chest is a trap. Use this to your advantage if you need to be really careful. =Skills= [Mirror Image] -------------- Create a shadow image which will mirror all your actions Cost: 5 SP You can create up to 5 clones of yourself with this technique. They'll all disappear after some time has passed, but very useful for when you're pressing the offensive on a group of enemies. [Flame Charge] -------------- Charme charges forward, flame in her hands! Cost: 5 SP As an attack, it's relatively terrible. However, the greatest use of this attack comes from the distance you travel when you use it. You can dodge attacks, escape from traps, close in on running enemies, get away from those nasty ropers, and more. The possibilities are endless. [Shadow Weave] -------------- Places a sticky net on the ground. Enemies who step on it cannot move. How to Learn: Reach Level 20 Cost: 5 SP The uses of this attack aren't as numerous as those of Flame Charge, but they're still there. You can place on down at a chokepoint to get some easy kills or use it as an offensive attack on an annoying enemy. If you need to make a safe retreat, lay a Shadow Weave down and escape with Flame Charge. ++++++ +Elan+ ++++++ Elan is the big, muscley, cuddly, boo-boo bear that cares for the children at the Pensee Orphanage. Ssshhh. don't tell anyone, though. He's a priest-in-training, as well as a Black Belt. However, he sometimes has some minor money troubles... Totally not due to his drinking habits, by the way/ Status: Adventurer How to Recruit: Complete Jade Way See him during one of Charme's events at the pub Visit the merchant's guild in the morning Go to Town Square to make the delivery Offer him some good, cheap deals to bring up your friendship Take his Business Card once he offers it Shopping Times: Morning, Noon, Night Preferred Atmosphere: 6 Light 10 Plain Likes: Books Food Medicines Budget: Min 1000 Max 50,000 Equips: Gloves Clothes Robes Bracelets Hats Charms Capes Scarves Shoes Rings Notes: He moves fairly quickly. Feel the burn for your religion. His attack range is the smallest in the game, but he has very powerful attacks. Using him takes patience and timing. =Skills= [Flame Charge] -------------- Elan plows the road, fire erupting from his fists! Cost: 5 SP If this skill sounds familiar, that's because it should be. Charme has her own version of this attack. The uses of it hasn't changed, but be wary. Elan's Flame Charge activates slower than Charme's. [Fist Flurry] -------------- Elan unleashes an absurd monsoon of knuckles and pain ahead of himself. Cost: 20 SP This skill is extremely useful against one enemy, but still shines in rooms with multiple ones. During the attack, Elan is invincible. [Berserk] --------- Elan feels The Fury. He hits VERY hard, but can't use items! How to Learn: Reach Level 20 Cost: 5 SP While in Berserk mode, you can't use any items. However, damage is increased and you only take half the damage from all attacks. If you're not too low on health or SP and need a quick burst of power, Berserk is what you need. +++++++ +Griff+ +++++++ He's a demon! Run for your life! With his claws and assassin-style, you're most likely going to get shredded if you don't get out of his way. In the beginning, he's nothing but a jerk to Recette and Tear. After seeing the error of his ways, however, (by beating him to a pulp) he'll eventually concede to the magic of friendship. Status: Adventurer How to Recruit: Complete Amber Garden Visit the Town Square at Night Visit the Town Square at Night again Have him visit your store in the evening and receive a scene Have Louie visit to receive word of Obsidian Tower Defeat Griff on the 30th floor of the Obsidian Tower Defeat Griff and the Archdevil's Arm on the 50th floor Increase relationship by giving deals once he visits your shop Accept his Business Card once offered Shopping Times: Evening, Night Preferred Atmosphere: 13 Dark 0 Plain/Gaudy Likes: Books Capes Claws Ingredients Medicines Rings Budget: Min 10,000 Max 4,000,000 Equips: Claws Clothes Robes Breastplates Hats Charms Capes Shoes Rings Notes: He can dash by double-tapping in the direction you want to dash. His dash is more like a walking teleport, as he becomes intangible and walks through enemies. =Skills= [Dark Claw] ----------- Griff charges forward, attempting to tear the enemy in two! Cost: 10 SP Just like Charme and Elan's Flame Charge, Dark Claw is a quick movement ability. However, Dark Claw has the advantage of actually dealing notable damage. [Demon Soul] ------------ Griff becomes a demonic avatar of destruction... and can't use items! Cost: 20 SP Just like Elan's Berserk, attack and defense stats are greatly increase in this state. Items are also restricted, so take caution. Try to use this onli if you know you won't need the item assistance. [Vampire Vortex] ---------------- Griff sucks foes into the darkness, stealing their precious HP! Cost: 30 SP This skill makes Griff one of the deadliest adventurers to use. The threat from this skill comes in three different punches. 1) The skill heals Griff as it deals damage to enemies 2) Griff can attack while enemies are sucked into the vortex the attack makes 3) The skill can be cast again even while another is active If you're in a serious punch, start chaining Vampire Vortexes. If you really want to be cheap, use this technique on bosses, too, as most of them are still affected by it. +++++++ +Louie+ +++++++ Mah boy. This kind of character balance is what all true heroes fight for. Louie is the first adventurer available to you. His stats are unsurprsingly balanced. The only thing about him that isn't stable is his cash flow. Poor guy. Status: Adventurer How to Recruit: Visit the Adventurer's Guild after Day 2 Take Louie into the Hall of Trials and make it to floor 5 Open the chest Shopping Times: Morning, Noon, Evening, Night Preferred Atmosphere: 0 Light/Dark 10 Plain Likes: Food Helms Medicines Scarves Shields Budget: Min 1000 Max 50,000 Equips: Swords Clothes Breastplates Armor Bracelets Shields Hats Helms Charms Scarves Shoes Rings Notes: Even though his max budget is 50,000, there are instances of him spending over 100,000. He's holding back... He controls a bit like Link from the 2D Zelda games. His shield even negates attacks that hit it! =Skills= [Spin Slash] ------------ Slash while spinning about. Useful when surrounded. Cost: 5 SP Trigger this skill if enemies are starting to close in on you. It's also pretty handy against knights, since the wide attack arc tends to confuse them. [Vacuum Blade] -------------- Louie's might swing cuts the air. Useful against distant targets. How to Learn: Reach Level 10 Cost: 5 SP If you're having trouble closing in on an enemy with melee attacks, throw a few Vacuum Blades at it. Nothing much to it. ++++++ +Nagi+ ++++++ Huh? How'd Nagi end up here? It confuses me, too. Nagi is a well-mannered young woman with a poor sense of direction. She's more intelligent than she lets on, however, so don't go knocking her down. With a kimono and a spear in hand, the only appropriate word I can use right now is "moe". Status: Adventurer How to Recruit: Find her in any dungeon after Day 9 Speak with her in a dungeon four times Find her in the shop the first time When she appears a second time, accept her Business Card Shopping Times: Morning, Noon, Evening Preferred Atmosphere: 4 Light 3 Gaudy Likes: Books Bracelet Charms Food Medicines Spears Budget: Min 6000 Max 300,000 Equips: Spears Clothes Breastplates Armor Bracelets Shields Hats Helms Charms Necklaces Shoes Rings Notes: She has one of the longest attack ranges in the game. Abuse this. She can dash by double-tapping in the direction you want to dash. You can't change direction while in a dash. If you hit an enemy with your spear, then the enemy takes some damage and Nagi jumps back a bit. =Skills= [Flame Charge] -------------- Nagi bathes her lance in flame and charges forth! Cost: 5 SP Another copy and paste ability. Simply put, use this primarily to move around the battlefield. The damage is deals to enemies is negligible. [Hundred Thrusts] ----------------- Nagi thrusts with the spear faster than the eye can see! Cost: 8 SP At first glance, this skill should be a decent choice for attacking. However, Nagi is unable to move until the skill finishes and she can still be hit while she attacks. If there's more than one enemy in the room, this can be a very dangerous gamble. Use wisely. [Spin Slash] ------------ Slash while spinning about. Nagi's spear gives this good range. How to Learn: Reach Level 20 Cost: 10 SP Just like the description says, this attack has a wider range compared to Louie's. However, the damage dealt is slightly less, so keep that in consideration. [Vacuum Spear] -------------- Nagi rips open a hole in the air and fires it forward as a wave. How to Learn: Reach Level 30 Cost: 5 SP Just like Louie's Vacuum Blade, Vacuum Spear is a relatively reliable projectile attack for a character that relies primarily on short-range attacks. ++++++++ +Tielle+ ++++++++ With an everlasting smile andan endless sweet tooth, no wonder she's loved by the community. No, I'm not talking about Recette, I'm talking about Tielle! She's a little elven girl who, unsuprisingly, wields a bow. This isn't just bow, however. It can fill the screen with several arrows of pain and raining beams of light that can destroy all! I'm not even kidding this time! This is one little girl that you don't want to mess with. Status: Adventurer How to Recruit: Beat Jade Way View a cutscene involving her in Town Square Go to floor 30 in Amber Garden Beat Tielle Have her visit your shop a few times Accept her business card Shopping Times: Morning, Noon, Evening Preferred Atmosphere: 8 Light 0 Plain/Gaudy Likes: Books Bows Clothes Hats Food Medicines Budget: Min 2000 Max 100,000 Equips: Bows Clothes Breastplates Bracelets Hats Charms Necklaces Scarves Shoes Rings Notes: Her running speed is pretty fast, but she can't dash. You're a DPS machine if you use her correctly. Just... don't get hit too much. You can charge your normal attacks for more power and arrows, up to a level 6 charge. This easily clears more screens of enemies. =Skills= [Flame Arrow] ------------- Fires an intense, piercing arrow directly ahead Cost: 4 SP The arrow pierces through all enemies in its path, including knights. If all the enemies are lining up, for whatever reason, launch one or two of these to clear them out. [Seeker Arrow] -------------- This arrow will seek out foes and try to chase them down! Cost: 5 SP Using one by itself is somewhat effective in battle. However, three active seeker arrows have the ability to clear out a room if done properly. If you ever feel like using this ability, send it out in small groups for maximum effectiveness. [Starshot Arrow] ---------------- Fire a torrent of arrows upwards which then rain down like meteors! Cost: 8 SP Some enemies are locked onto during this attack, while some aren't. However, don't rely too heavily in the lock-on ability. Enemies that are constantly on the move have the tendency to completely avoid this attack. Use it against clustered foes, slow foes, or both. [Cuterage!] ----------- Tielle gets serious and can charge her shots much faster! How to Learn: Reach Level 25 Cost: 10 SP The activation of this skill paralyzes nearby opponents and increases your basic attack charging speed. Don't bother using any other skills while this effect is active, since it's just a waste. Despite this being Tielle's version of Berserk, she can still use items while under the effect. Neat! ++++++++++ +Alouette+ ++++++++++ You honestly thought you were the only general store in town? HA! Think again. Not while Alouette's in town. She's the daughter of the owner of the maket chain Big Bash. Not only that, but she's your self-proclaimed rival? How rude! At least she has the big PIx with her. Maybe she has a soft side...? Okay, there aren't really too many, but there definitely are some things in the game that need a slight bit of explanation. This section is dedicated to the parts of this game that make it slightly more complicated than some would want. ++++++++++++ +Atmosphere+ ++++++++++++ The game doesn't completely rely on an RNG (Random Number Generator) to determine what customers come into your store each day. The main factor that determines what customers you get is atmosphere Atmosphere is the overall feel of your store. If you have items that make your shop look gaudy, then the gaudiness of your store will go up. Atmosphere plays a major role in determining what characters will do business with you. Some characters are even limited to a certain atmospheric setting. This is a list of characters by atmosphere. Let's say that my atmosphere mark aka Recette's adorable head is hovering all the way to the far Plain side and just a bit more than halfway up the Light side. That gives me an atmosphere of 6 Light and 10 Plain. With this atmospheric rating, I'll most likely have Elan visit. I also have a moderate chance of attracting Girl, Nagi, Tielle, Louie, and Old Man visit. On the other hand, I have a slim-to-none chance of having Alouette and Euria drop on by. +++++++++++++++++++++ +Arranging Your Shop+ +++++++++++++++++++++ The in-game tutorial of arranging your shop actually covers a lot. I'm just making this section for those that need a recap. I'll also add a few more tips that can make your life as a shop owner much easier. *-Arranging Your Counters-* First, make sure your customers are able to reach your items. Pretty basic, really. Your customers can't buy what they can't reach. Second, have as many slots in the windows as you can. This way, you'll be able to have more slots for showcase items, attracting more customers. You'll know when an item is a showcase item when it's sparkling. Don't necessarily rely on where the sun is shining. Next, vending machines aren't technically an upgrade to your counters. Vending machines are simply an alternative to sell items that you have a surplus of in bulk without you manuall haggling. The downside is that the item will always be sold at it's base price. Whether the item is in demand (name in red) or out of season (name in blue) vending machines will always sell the items in them at base price. *-Selling Your Items-* In the beginning, selling your items seems like a very basic task. In truth, it sorta is. Simply find your customer's sweet spot of buying/selling percent and fire at it every time that customer comes up. However, there are some things that you have to be aware of. You've noticed that sometimes a heart appears next to a character whenever you sell to them, right? That heart means that you've gained enough trust with that character to level up your relationship. The higher your relationship is, the more that customer is likely to spend. Customers with high relationship levels also have a higher chance of selling better items. Note that selling via vendor does not increase your relationship. Pay attention to items that have their names in red or blue. Don't forget to alter your buying/selling price in order to reflect the need of the item. Speaking of items with altered prices, you can use this to your advantage when fulfilling and advance order. When you fulfill and advance order, you're selling more than one item. Some of these may be red, blue, or have their prices stable. However, for advance orders, the object at the top of the list (the first object you select) is the one that you base the price on. If your first item has it's price increased while everything else is down, just pretend you're selling that one red item! One last major thing that you have to pay attention to are Just combos. These combos can give you a massive boost in merchant EXP. There are several ways to start a combo, but it's up to you to maintain it. The first way is to continually buy and sell items without your customer complaining about the price. You can always try playing it safe by selling lower and buying higher than you usually do, you'll miss out on the pin bonuses. Pin bonuses are bonuses awarded to you by buying or selling to your customers at a price close to or near what they expect. The Near Pin is the easiest to get. You prerequisite is to have the price close to what the customer is expecting, giving you 15 bonus EXP. The other bonus you can get is a Just Pin, where you buy or sell exactly or extremely close to the exact price the customer expects, netting you a cool 30 EXP. You might be asking right now, why do I need to know all of this stuff about selling? Combos aren't really necessary, right? Well, you're right. However, combos greatly increase the amount of merchant EXP you earn. The higher your merchant EXP, the higher your merchant level. Depending on your merchant level, you'll have several bonuses. Simply avoid being near the Crowned Slime. If you try to attack him head-on, your attacks will be brushed off like nothing and you'll run the risk of being stomped on. Every time he jumps, he gets smaller and weaker. After two jumps, he'll be at his weakest. That's your golden chance to attack him. To keep this up, make sure to kill any Blue Slimes that get near him, as they'll restore his size. [Reginald Drisby] Level: 8 HP: 360 Reginald Drisby's fate is sealed in the mushrooms that sprout out of the ground. The red mushrooms heal him, while the purple mushrooms stun him and give you an opening to attack. He has an abnormal defense, so don't attack him upfront. Instead, run around the arena and clear away the red mushrooms. This forces Reginald to eat the purple mushrooms that stun him. Use that stun time to deal your damage. [Charme] Level: 10 HP: 280 Charme's a pretty tough boss if you're not prepared. With my FAQ, you should be. She's very nimble and her attacks are swift. Watch out for the nets she throws out. Running into them will cut your running speed and give her an opening. If she ever suddenly pauses and says something, get out of her way. She'll lunge in the direction she's facing with fire surrounding her. The best way is to bait that attack, run behind her, and abuse the time she has to recover from that attack. Otherwise, suck it up and duel her face to face. Her defense isn't high, so you'll be doing your full damage outpit the whole time. The Eyebat King isn't your only problem here. Several other Eyebats have joined the fight to protect their king. Kill what Eyebats you can to get them out of your way and aim for the massive king. When he starts charging power, stay clear out of his line of sight. He will fire off a massive laser with an equally massive area of effect. That's the only clear danger in this fight. Avoid it and the battle is yours. [The Insect King] Level: 15 HP: 570 The creepy-crawly Insect King is more annoying than hard. The battle is similar to the Eyebat King battle due to several of the boss' underlings joining the fray. The problem? These minions are bees. They're much harder to hit than Eyebats and can slow you down, making you target practice for the boss' signature rolling attack. Try using an attack that can clear away bees quickly so that you have a clear shot at the Insect King. Without his bee minions, he's very easy. [Volcanicrab] Level: 17 HP: 713 ERUPTION! Watch out for the Volcanicrab's signature attack that sends out a firestorm, dealing massive damage to those near it. He also spits out a stream of bubbles that can be hard to dodge if you're still trying to keep your distance. The main problem is that every attack you'll land will deal no damage at all. He's covered in stone! Solution? Do you see that red bomb floating around? Activate it and put it underneath or near enough to the Volcanicrab to flip it over. Every gamer should know what flipping over a shelled enemy means, right? Now attack that soft underside like there's no tomorrow! [The Crowned Slime (2)] Level: 18/18 HP: 440/440 The Crowned Slime is back, and this time he brought a friend. The same strategy from the previus Crowned Slime battle still holds truth here. Avoid it's attacks until it goes down two sizes and attack it while destroying the blue slimes that threaten to disturb your whaling upon it's king. The main difference is that you're watching out for two of these things now instead of one. [Tielle] Level: 20 HP: 720 Tielle's a tough character, so it's very appropriate that her boss battle can make you want to tear your hair out. This boss battle is divided into 4 major parts. Stage One has Tielle firing arrows at you behind several boxes. Simply clear a path to Tielle and get near her to advance to Stage Two. There's a problem, however. The monsters are working with her to protect her. Avoid taking too much damage and press forward. Stage Two is similar to Stage One... but this time, Tielle is hiding out in one of the boxes! Find out which box she's hiding in and destroy it. If you pay close attention to the arrows she's firing, you can estimate which area her box is located. Stage Three has Tielle hiding in a box once again. This time, however, you can't approximate her location by looking at her attacks. You'll have to destroy the boxes until you find the one containing Tielle. Stage Four initiates once you find Tielle's location in Stage Three. Since she's out of places to run, she starts fighting back at you in the open. Simply avoid her arrows and attack from anywhere but the front. Her blind spot covers her sides and back, making this duel relatively easy. First, Samhain has a body. Second, Samhain doesn't float towards you, but away from you. This can be a real problem for the melee adventurers, since they have to move up close to between attacks. Also, Samhain continually disappears and reappears. Just try to keep your attacks up and avoid the pumpkin buddies he continually summons. [Electrojelly] Level: 29 HP: 660 Electrojelly can be one of the easier boss battles if you
                 read it's attack patterns correctly. First, don't aim
                 directly at it's center. Instead, aim at it's tentacles.
                 Those are the vulnerable parts. However, it's also
                 Electrojelly's main form of attack. Stand back and out of
                 the range of the tentacles and attack the tips. If you
                 keep your distance properly, his two main melee attacks, a
                 whip/slap attack with a single tentacle and spinning around
                 like a fan, should just barely graze you. The only real
                 annoyance in this battle, like several other boss battles,
                 are the minions that are summoned to attack you. In this
                 case, however, there are only a few at a time.

                 [Eyebat King]
                 Level: 30/30
                 HP: 680/680

                 The Eyebat King has brought a friend with him. Now there are
                 TWO massive eye lasers to look out for. If you have an attack
                 that can hit an area, then try to hit both of them at once.
                 If not, focus on killing down one Eyebat King first. As soon
                 as one goes down, then it's just like the normal Eyebat King
                 fight. When the eye lasers start going out, though, run.
                 Those hitboxes aren't getting any smaller. With two lasers
                 out, the screen is practically plagued with danger.

                 [Terran Golem]
                 Level: 32
                 HP: 1080

                 If your adventurer is either slow, has low defense, or has
                 low HP, then you'll have to go all-out in this battle. Terran
                 Golem is a slow heavy-hitting boss. If you see one of his
                 arms go up, run to the side. That thing is gonna be
                 slamming back to the ground. If he start charging energy,
                 run away. He's gonna spin around like Electrojelly. Finally,
                 when he jumps in the air, do not sit still. He's gonna slam
                 back down to your position with some delay. Every time he's
                 finished with one of these attacks, rush in and take out more
                 HP from him. He's buff, but at least he's slow. There are
                 also some minor enemies that pop up now and then, but you can
                 make quick work of them.

                 [Griff]
                 Level: 33
                 HP: 1480

                 Griff is one of the more annoying bosses in the game. His
                 battle is somewhat similar to Charme's, but not really. His
                 main attack is similar to Charme's main attack. He pauses and
                 charges in one direction quickly. The pause after this is
                 enough for a few quick attacks. It's easy to bait this, dodge
                 the attack completely, and pounce on his ending
                 vulnerability. Another attack is similar to the Fire Bomb's
                 magic ring. He sounds out five rings that scatter briefly
                 before closing in on your position and sending up a plume of
                 fire. Simply run erradicately around the arena and waste the
                 attack on an empty space.

                 Once Griff's HP falls to around 15% of it's original value,
                 then he learns some new tricks. He'll teleport to the far top
                 or bottom of the screen and unleash a cone of bats that's
                 hard to avoid. Two bats will stay and help him fight you. At
                 this point, adopt the hit-and-run strategy. Hitting him twice
                 will cause him to fall over and become invulnerable. Once he
                 gets up, he'll unleash an attack that covers a wide area near
                 him. Be careful out there.

                 [Insect King (2)]
                 Level: 34/34
                 HP: 1140/1140

                 Rollin'. Rollin'. Rollin' in an arena. Now there are two of
                 these dastardly Insect Kings to deal with, and their bee
                 minions aren't letting up the assault. I advise staying in
                 the middle and abusing your area attacks when bees are
                 starting to crowd around you. Staying in the middle also
                 let's you quickly dodge and attack back rolling Insect
                 Kings. You can go for them one at a time if you want, but
                 I'd prefer to play it safe and pay attention to both of them.

                 [The Gauntlet]
                 Level: 35
                 HP: 780

                 The battle against The Gauntlet is very straightforward. At
                 this point in the game, you should have already fought and
                 defeated one of the Knight enemies. This battle is like
                 fighting a Knight with more HP and a stronger attack, but an
                 easier to penetrate shield with a longer strike chance.
                 Dodge his attack and rush back in to attack. Very simple.
                 Do keep on your toes, though. That one attack is still very
                 strong. The three other knights assisting him doesn't help
                 you much, either.


                 [Griff and the Archedvil's Arm]
                 Level: 37
                 HP: 1640
                 
                 This battle is essentially the same as the normal Griff
                 battle. The main difference, however, is the Archdevil's
                 Arm floating around the battlefield. Griff's attack
                 pattern doesn't change. If you want to read more about it,
                 scroll up to read the entry on him. The Archdevil's Arm
                 is what you really gotta watch for. It's main attack is a
                 laser blast that sweeps half of the battlefield. A thin beam
                 cuts through the middle, expands to full power, and sweeps up
                 or down in an alternating pattern. After three sweeps, it
                 flies upwards and slams down on your position with a slight
                 delay. As long as you constantly move about, this attack
                 poses little threat to you. Handle this battle like an
                 "amped" Griff battle and you should be fine.

                 There might be two Samhains to deal with now, but the
                 difficulty here is pretty much the same. Both of them are
                 just going to to be chilling and floating around the arena.
                 Their only real attack is their summoning of little pumpkin
                 allies to help. Just press your offensive and thise battle
                 should be done in no time.

                 [Reginald Drisby]
                 Level: 44
                 HP: 1440

                 Reginald's back with a vengeance. He upgraded his old crowbar
                 for a... paper fan? Wha...? Anyways, nothing much about this
                 fight changes from the previous version. Take away his supply
                 of red mushrooms and stun him when he eats the purple ones.
                 Poor poor Reginald...

                 [Eyebat King (3)]
                 Level: 45/45/45
                 HP: 980/980/980

                 I don't recommend going through with this boss battle if you
                 haven't seen sunlight in a long time. You thought two massive
                 lasers flying through the screen wasn't enough? Try three!
                 Obviously, it's very dangerous to traverse this arena with
                 all of these lasers. Bring them down one at a time. Always go
                 for an opportunity to attack all three at once. Don't forget
                 about their roaming minions, however. They still pose a
                 threat to throwing off your groove.

                 [Insect King (3)]
                 Level: 46/46/46
                 HP: 1500/1500/1500

                 If you didn't hate insects before, you will now. With three
                 of these Insect Kings rolling all over the battlefield, you
                 pretty much have to follow their movements VERY carefully.
                 Like before, stay in the middle to avoid better and to have
                 a better reach to all three Kings. Bring all of them down
                 and be wary of the bees. Even letting one hit you can be VERY
                 risky. As soon as you're slowed, the Insect Kings can go to
                 town all over you.

                 [Crowned Slime (3)]
                 Level: 47/47/47
                 HP: 1020/1020/1020

                 Blobs galore! Three bouncing slimes all over the place is
                 exponentially more dangerous than just one. Just like before,
                 avoid them for a few attacks until they're two sizes smaller
                 than normal. That will always be your golden opportunity to
                 attack. Keeping away those pesky blue slimes can be a bit
                 tougher than normal, due to three Kings out there to kill
                 you.

                 [Samhain (3)]
                 Level: 48/48/48
                 HP: 1560/1560/1560

                 Samhain? Again? But we just defeated you and your friend a
                 few floors ago! Ah well. After all that, he STILL isn't much
                 of a threat. Press the offensive like usual on all three of
                 them. Just watch out for the flame rings. They weren't much
                 of a threat beforehand, but "power in numbers" as they say.

                 [Electrojelly]
                 Level: 49
                 HP: 1060

                 Electrojelly turned from blue to red. He must be pretty mad,
                 huh? He must be, since his whip attack got a nice little
                 upgrade. Instread of whipping in your direction with one
                 tentacle, he whips in two directions with both. I guess you
                 can't run around him as safely as you could before, huh? Oh
                 well. Just keep your distance like before and pummel those
                 tentacles into submission. Watch out for those lightning
                 bolts, though. Those hurt.

                 [Arma]
                 Level: 50
                 HP: 2700

                 Arma's a very tough boss. Why? She can literally flood your
                 screen with her attack. Her main attack consists of her
                 launching four blades outward and reel them back in. The
                 blades do damage only on their way back, not on their way
                 out. Another dangerous attack of hers is a flamethrower. Once
                 it's out, it travels along for a bit before stopping. The
                 remains in the arena for a while before going out. If this
                 hits, she has a decent chance of following up with a rocket
                 launcher. It's easy to dodge, but will cause serious damage
                 if it hits. Watch out. Her gatling gun is also a fairly easy
                 attack to dodge, due to it's low range. However, it can rack
                 up damage fairly quickly. If she's charging energy, then get
                 out of her way as soon as you can. She's charging her Vector
                 Cannon, which can wipe out your HP quicker than Gatling Gun.

                 The way to defeat Arma is to constantly move around her. She
                 has several dangerous attack, but almost all of them rely on
                 you to be in her line of sight. Barrage her with attacks from
                 the back and side. Pay attention to the blades that are on

                 tough duel, but you should be able to handle it.

                 [The Gauntlet (2)]

                 It's twin Gauntlet time. Now two of those black knights are
                 after you. The danger level here is still relatively minimal
                 compared to the current location you're in. Their defense is
                 still easily penetrated. Your main worry here, like the
                 previous Gauntlet battle, is their only attack. Ranged, large
                 hitbox, and packs a punch. With two of those black knights,
                 they can juggle you right into the swords of their little
                 minions. However, simply press the offensive like you would
                 against a regular knight enemy. THese guys are tough, but
                 they're not THAT tough.

                 [Reginald Drisby]
                 Level: 52
                 HP: 1680

                 Reginald's back once again. This time he's serious! He tossed
                 away that whimsy old paper fan and brought his final ultimate
                 weapon! The.... fish? ...Alright. With the fish, his normal
                 attack combo is now up to 3; two swipes and a downwards slam.
                 He's still Reginald, however, so our mushroom buddies are
                 still growing all over the place. If anything, this is the
                 easiest Reginald battle. If his attacks miss, he'll be
                 swiping at the air for a fairly long time, giving you a long
                 opportunity to destroy any red mushrooms. Avoid his attacks
                 once again and wait until he consumes a purple mushroom.
                 Once he's down, unleash all hell.

                 [Terran Golem]
                 Level: 53
                 HP: 1710

                 The Terran Golem battle hasn't changed much from your
                 previous encounter. He IS still very powerful and can chip
                 large chunks off of your HP. The main difference between this
                 battle and the previous battle are the little minions.
                 Instead of just one, there's two breathing down your back
                 now. They're still easily dispatched, however, so go as you
                 please. Simply stay on the move and this battle shouldn't
                 pose too much of a threat.

                 [Volcanicrab]
                 Level: 54
                 HP: 1740

                 The Volcanicrab rematch is a lot tougher than the previous
                 encounter. His attacks are still relatively unchanged.
                 What you have to look out for are the bombs that are
                 supposed to help you. There's no logner just that one red
                 bomb type. You have several more joining the fray. Only one
                 colored bomb is usually out on the field, however. If you
                 want an easier time with this battle, memorize the time it
                 takes for the bombs to go off. That way, you can rush in
                 faster and abuse the Volcanicrab's weakness more. 

                 [The Geddon Device]
                 Level: 55
                 HP: 3540/1180

                 As the final boss, The Geddon Device is obviously pretty
                 tough. The battle itself is unique too. Instead of one of the
                 generic arenas we've been through, this one consists of
                 several linked-together hexagons. Periodically, some of these
                 drop and are gone from the arena. The longer this battle
                 takes, the less room you'll have to use. The boss itself is
                 pretty unique, as well. Though there's only one main boss,
                 there are two main parts to attack. The torso itself has
                 three attacks. One is 5-ring flame attack. You should have no
                 worries if you don't stay still. The second is a massive
                 lightning barrage of the arena. Be careful of where you're
                 going, or else you're gonna get struck. The final one is an
                 amped up bazooka. It's hard to spot at first, but that
                 massive explosion is undeniable. The arms, in comparison,
                 have only one attack. The arms simply sweep lasers across
                 the arena. After around 4 sweeps, then they change their
                 pattern. The final unique thing about this arena is the
                 borders. Unlike other boss battles, you're able to fall off
                 here and lose some HP. WAtch your step, alright?

                 What you want to do in this fight is completely ignore the
                 arms for a while. You'll see why later, but press your
                 attacks on the torso. Once it's HP is low enough, it'll fly
                 off the stage to a distance that's nearly impossible to
                 reach. He'll fire off a few missiles that'll destroy some
                 hexagon pieces. At this point, forget about the torso and
                 destroy the arms. With the threat of the torso out of the
                 way, the arms become easy pickings. Once the torso is back on
                 the arena, finish it off.

Boss Strategies: [Crowned Slime]
                 Level: 51
                 HP: 1100

                 The first boss battle is as easy as can be. Simply avoid
                 being near the Crowned Slime. If you try to attack him
                 head-on, your attacks will be brushed off like nothing and
                 you'll run the risk of being stomped on. Every time he jumps,
                 he gets smaller and weaker. After two jumps, he'll be at his
                 weakest. That's your golden chance to attack him. To keep
                 this up, make sure to kill any Blue Slimes that get near him,
                 as they'll restore his size.

                 [Reginald Drisby]
                 Level: 52
                 HP: 1680

                 Reginald Drisby's fate is sealed in the mushrooms that sprout
                 out of the ground. The red mushrooms heal him, while the
                 purple mushrooms stun him and give you an opening to attack.
                 He has an abnormal defense, so don't attack him upfront.
                 Instead, run around the arena and clear away the red
                 mushrooms. This forces Reginald to eat the purple mushrooms
                 that stun him. Use that stun time to deal your damage.

                 [Charme]
                 Level: 54
                 HP: 1160

                 Charme's a pretty tough boss if you're not prepared. With my
                 FAQ, you should be. She's very nimble and her attacks are
                 swift. Watch out for the nets she throws out. Running into
                 them will cut your running speed and give her an opening. If
                 she ever suddenly pauses and says something, get out of her
                 way. She'll lunge in the direction she's facing with fire
                 surrounding her. The best way is to bait that attack, run
                 behind her, and abuse the time she has to recover from that
                 attack. Otherwise, suck it up and duel her face to face.
                 Her defense isn't high, so you'll be doing your full damage
                 outpit the whole time.

                 [Eyebat King]
                 Level: 56
                 HP: 1200

                 This battle reminds me of those old school shooter games with
                 dozens of enemies and large flying lasers. The Eyebat King
                 isn't your only problem here. Several other Eyebats have
                 joined the fight to protect their king. Kill what Eyebats
                 you can to get them out of your way and aim for the massive
                 king. When he starts charging power, stay clear out of his
                 line of sight. He will fire off a massive laser with an
                 equally massive area of effect. That's the only clear
                 danger in this fight. Avoid it and the battle is yours.

                 [Insect King]
                 Level: 57
                 HP: 1830

                 The creepy-crawly Insect King is more annoying than hard. The
                 battle is similar to the Eyebat King battle due to several
                 of the boss' underlings joining the fray. The problem? These
                 minions are bees. They're much harder to hit than Eyebats and
                 can slow you down, making you target practice for the boss'
                 signature rolling attack. Try using an attack that can clear
                 away bees quickly so that you have a clear shot at the Insect
                 King. Without his bee minions, he's very easy.

                 [Volcanicrab]
                 Level: 59
                 HP: 2142

                 ERUPTION! Watch out for the Volcanicrab's signature attack
                 that sends out a firestorm, dealing massive damage to those
                 near it. He also spits out a stream of bubbles that can be
                 hard to dodge if you're still trying to keep your distance.
                 The main problem is that every attack you'll land will deal
                 no damage at all. He's covered in stone! Solution? Do you see
                 that red bomb floating around? Activate it and put it
                 underneath or near enough to the Volcanicrab to flip it
                 over. Every gamer should know what flipping over a shelled
                 enemy means, right? Now attack that soft underside like
                 there's no tomorrow!                 

                 [Crowned Slime (2)]
                 Level: 61/61
                 HP: 1300/1300

                  The Crowned Slime is back, and this time he brought a friend.
                 The same strategy from the previus Crowned Slime battle still
                 holds truth here. Avoid it's attacks until it goes down two
                 sizes and attack it while destroying the blue slimes that
                 threaten to disturb your whaling upon it's king. The main
                 difference is that you're watching out for two of these
                 things now instead of one.

                 [Tielle]
                 Level: 62
                 HP: 1320

                 Tielle's a tough character, so it's very appropriate that her
                 boss battle can make you want to tear your hair out. This
                 boss battle is divided into 4 major parts.

                 Stage One has Tielle firing arrows at you behind several
                 boxes. Simply clear a path to Tielle and get near her to
                 advance to Stage Two. There's a problem, however. The
                 monsters are working with her to protect her. Avoid taking
                 too much damage and press forward.

                 Stage Two is similar to Stage One... but this time, Tielle
                 is hiding out in one of the boxes! Find out which box she's
                 hiding in and destroy it. If you pay close attention to the
                 arrows she's firing, you can estimate which area her box is
                 located.

                 Stage Three has Tielle hiding in a box once again. This time,
                 however, you can't approximate her location by looking at her
                 attacks. You'll have to destroy the boxes until you find
                 the one containing Tielle. 

                 Stage Four initiates once you find Tielle's location in
                 Stage Three. Since she's out of places to run, she starts
                 fighting back at you in the open. Simply avoid her arrows
                 and attack from anywhere but the front. Her blind spot covers
                 her sides and back, making this duel relatively easy.
                 
                 [Samhain]
                 Level: 64
                 HP: 2040

                 Samhain is like one of those Floating Jack-o-Lanterns that
                 you've been fighting up until now, but with some key changes.
                 First, Samhain has a body. Second, Samhain doesn't float
                 towards you, but away from you. This can be a real problem
                 for the melee adventurers, since they have to move up
                 close to between attacks. Also, Samhain continually
                 disappears and reappears. Just try to keep your attacks
                 up and avoid the pumpkin buddies he continually summons.

                 [Electrojelly]
                 Level: 66
                 HP: 1400

                 Electrojelly can be one of the easier boss battles if you
                 read it's attack patterns correctly. First, don't aim
                 directly at it's center. Instead, aim at it's tentacles.
                 Those are the vulnerable parts. However, it's also
                 Electrojelly's main form of attack. Stand back and out of
                 the range of the tentacles and attack the tips. If you
                 keep your distance properly, his two main melee attacks, a
                 whip/slap attack with a single tentacle and spinning around
                 like a fan, should just barely graze you. The only real
                 annoyance in this battle, like several other boss battles,
                 are the minions that are summoned to attack you. In this
                 case, however, there are only a few at a time.

                 [Eyebat King (2)]
                 Level: 68/68
                 HP: 1440/1440

                 The Eyebat King has brought a friend with him. Now there are
                 TWO massive eye lasers to look out for. If you have an attack
                 that can hit an area, then try to hit both of them at once.
                 If not, focus on killing down one Eyebat King first. As soon
                 as one goes down, then it's just like the normal Eyebat King
                 fight. When the eye lasers start going out, though, run.
                 Those hitboxes aren't getting any smaller. With two lasers
                 out, the screen is practically plagued with danger.

                 [Terran Golem]
                 Level: 69
                 HP: 2190

                  If your adventurer is either slow, has low defense, or has
                 low HP, then you'll have to go all-out in this battle. Terran
                 Golem is a slow heavy-hitting boss. If you see one of his
                 arms go up, run to the side. That thing is gonna be
                 slamming back to the ground. If he start charging energy,
                 run away. He's gonna spin around like Electrojelly. Finally,
                 when he jumps in the air, do not sit still. He's gonna slam
                 back down to your position with some delay. Every time he's
                 finished with one of these attacks, rush in and take out more
                 HP from him. He's buff, but at least he's slow. There are
                 also some minor enemies that pop up now and then, but you can
                 make quick work of them.

                 [Griff]
                 Level: 71
                 HP: 3000

                 Griff is one of the more annoying bosses in the game. His
                 battle is somewhat similar to Charme's, but not really. His
                 main attack is similar to Charme's main attack. He pauses and
                 charges in one direction quickly. The pause after this is
                 enough for a few quick attacks. It's easy to bait this, dodge
                 the attack completely, and pounce on his ending
                 vulnerability. Another attack is similar to the Fire Bomb's
                 magic ring. He sounds out five rings that scatter briefly
                 before closing in on your position and sending up a plume of
                 fire. Simply run erradicately around the arena and waste the
                 attack on an empty space.

                 Once Griff's HP falls to around 15% of it's original value,
                 then he learns some new tricks. He'll teleport to the far top
                 or bottom of the screen and unleash a cone of bats that's
                 hard to avoid. Two bats will stay and help him fight you. At
                 this point, adopt the hit-and-run strategy. Hitting him twice
                 will cause him to fall over and become invulnerable. Once he
                 gets up, he'll unleash an attack that covers a wide area near
                 him. Be careful out there.

                 [Insect King (2)]
                 Level: 73
                 HP: 2310

                 Rollin'. Rollin'. Rollin' in an arena. Now there are two of
                 these dastardly Insect Kings to deal with, and their bee
                 minions aren't letting up the assault. I advise staying in
                 the middle and abusing your area attacks when bees are
                 starting to crowd around you. Staying in the middle also
                 let's you quickly dodge and attack back rolling Insect
                 Kings. You can go for them one at a time if you want, but
                 I'd prefer to play it safe and pay attention to both of them.

                 [The Gauntlet]
                 Level: 74
                 HP: 1560

                 The battle against The Gauntlet is very straightforward. At
                 this point in the game, you should have already fought and
                 defeated one of the Knight enemies. This battle is like
                 fighting a Knight with more HP and a stronger attack, but an
                 easier to penetrate shield with a longer strike chance.
                 Dodge his attack and rush back in to attack. Very simple.
                 Do keep on your toes, though. That one attack is still very
                 strong. The three other knights assisting him doesn't help
                 you much, either.

                 [Griff and the Archdevil's Arm]
                 Level: 76
                 HP: 3200

                 This battle is essentially the same as the normal Griff
                 battle. The main difference, however, is the Archdevil's
                 Arm floating around the battlefield. Griff's attack
                 pattern doesn't change. If you want to read more about it,
                 scroll up to read the entry on him. The Archdevil's Arm
                 is what you really gotta watch for. It's main attack is a
                 laser blast that sweeps half of the battlefield. A thin beam
                 cuts through the middle, expands to full power, and sweeps up
                 or down in an alternating pattern. After three sweeps, it
                 flies upwards and slams down on your position with a slight
                 delay. As long as you constantly move about, this attack
                 poses little threat to you. Handle this battle like an
                 "amped" Griff battle and you should be fine. 

                 [Samhain (2)]
                 Level: 78/78
                 HP: 2460/2460

                 There might be two Samhains to deal with now, but the
                 difficulty here is pretty much the same. Both of them are
                 just going to to be chilling and floating around the arena.
                 Their only real attack is their summoning of little pumpkin
                 allies to help. Just press your offensive and thise battle
                 should be done in no time.

                 [Reginald Drisby]
                 Level: 79
                 HP: 2490

                 Reginald's back with a vengeance. He upgraded his old crowbar
                 for a... paper fan? Wha...? Anyways, nothing much about this
                 fight changes from the previous version. Take away his supply
                 of red mushrooms and stun him when he eats the purple ones.
                 Poor poor Reginald...

                 [Eyebat King (3)]
                 Level: 81/81/81
                 HP: 1700/1700/1700

                 I don't recommend going through with this boss battle if you
                 haven't seen sunlight in a long time. You thought two massive
                 lasers flying through the screen wasn't enough? Try three!
                 Obviously, it's very dangerous to traverse this arena with
                 all of these lasers. Bring them down one at a time. Always go
                 for an opportunity to attack all three at once. Don't forget
                 about their roaming minions, however. They still pose a
                 threat to throwing off your groove.

                 [Insect King (3)]
                 Level: 83/83/83
                 HP: 2610/2610/2610

                 If you didn't hate insects before, you will now. With three
                 of these Insect Kings rolling all over the battlefield, you
                 pretty much have to follow their movements VERY carefully.
                 Like before, stay in the middle to avoid better and to have
                 a better reach to all three Kings. Bring all of them down
                 and be wary of the bees. Even letting one hit you can be VERY
                 risky. As soon as you're slowed, the Insect Kings can go to
                 town all over you.

                 [Crowned Slime (3)]
                 Level: 85/85/85
                 HP: 1780/1780/1780

                 Blobs galore! Three bouncing slimes all over the place is
                 exponentially more dangerous than just one. Just like before,
                 avoid them for a few attacks until they're two sizes smaller
                 than normal. That will always be your golden opportunity to
                 attack. Keeping away those pesky blue slimes can be a bit
                 tougher than normal, due to three Kings out there to kill
                 you.

                 [Samhain (3)]
                 Level: 86/86/86
                 HP: 2700/2700/2700

                 Samhain? Again? But we just defeated you and your friend a
                 few floors ago! Ah well. After all that, he STILL isn't much
                 of a threat. Press the offensive like usual on all three of
                 them. Just watch out for the flame rings. They weren't much
                 of a threat beforehand, but "power in numbers" as they say.

                 [Electrojelly]
                 Level: 88
                 HP: 1840

                 Electrojelly turned from blue to red. He must be pretty mad,
                 huh? He must be, since his whip attack got a nice little
                 upgrade. Instread of whipping in your direction with one
                 tentacle, he whips in two directions with both. I guess you
                 can't run around him as safely as you could before, huh? Oh
                 well. Just keep your distance like before and pummel those
                 tentacles into submission. Watch out for those lightning
                 bolts, though. Those hurt.

                 [Arma]
                 Level: 90
                 HP: 4700

                 Arma's a very tough boss. Why? She can literally flood your
                 screen with her attack. Her main attack consists of her
                 launching four blades outward and reel them back in. The
                 blades do damage only on their way back, not on their way
                 out. Another dangerous attack of hers is a flamethrower. Once
                 it's out, it travels along for a bit before stopping. The
                 remains in the arena for a while before going out. If this
                 hits, she has a decent chance of following up with a rocket
                 launcher. It's easy to dodge, but will cause serious damage
                 if it hits. Watch out. Her gatling gun is also a fairly easy
                 attack to dodge, due to it's low range. However, it can rack
                 up damage fairly quickly. If she's charging energy, then get
                 out of her way as soon as you can. She's charging her Vector
                 Cannon, which can wipe out your HP quicker than Gatling Gun.

                 The way to defeat Arma is to constantly move around her. She
                 has several dangerous attack, but almost all of them rely on
                 you to be in her line of sight. Barrage her with attacks from
                 the back and side. Pay attention to the blades that are on
                 their way back, as they can throw off your momentum. Do not

Fusion! HA! Once you've reached Merchant Level 5, you'll be able to talk to
the Guild Master about fusing your items. Fusing items can take some weak
ingredients and turn them into something worth lots of PIX. Fusion is the main
way to get the most powerful equipment in the game as well! There are some
things that you need to know before fusing, however.

- Fusion uses your most powerful fusing ingredients first. The item with the
  largest +x number will have the highest priority. If you're saving that item
  for something else or simply don't want to use it, you can always plop it in
  one of your vending machines for safekeeping.
- Fusion adds the +x of your ingredients for the bonus. If you fuse a +4 item
  with a +5 item, your resulting fusion will be +9.
- The +x bonus of an item affects the main stat of said item only. The bonus
  on swords affect Attack, bonus on Armor affects defense, etc.

Hello! Welcome to the World of Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale. Soon you'll be
well on your way to running one of the best item shops in town! OF course, you
won't be doing this alone. I'll be there to help guide you to the best places
to hunt treasure. Not only are we going to make your debt easier to manage,
but we'll be going through soem twists and turns along the way. Are you ready?

NOTE: I WON'T BE GIVING DAY-BY-DAY INSTRUCTIONS. I'M GOING TO TELL YOU WHAT
      THINGS TO DO TO ADVANCE THE STORYLINE. TIME MANAGEMENT IS ALL UP TO YOU.

*-Stage One-*
[The Swordsman and the Theif]

To begin with, we're going to need an adventurer. Head to the Adventurer's
Guild and view a few scenes about the starving swordsman Louie. You'll
eventually end up having to help aid him through his exam. You can help him
immediately if you want, but it helps to get a few good pieces of equipment
for him since he's...well...broke.

Once you agree to help him, you'll be whisked away to the Hall of Trials.

YOU MIGHT NEED] 

At the end of this dungeon, you'll find a chest with...
Louie's adventurer cards inside! He'll offer one to Recette as thanks for
assisting him through his trial. Isn't that sweet?

After beating the Hall of Trials, you'll automatically be able to enter a
dungeon called the Jade Way. Unfortunately, it's not pathed with Jade that you
can sell for a fortune, but it IS pathed with better treasure than the Hall of
Trials. Take Louie along for a ride and glide through this dungeon.

Once you beat Charme, you'll earn yourself a nifty treasure that can pay for
the entire first installment of the debt with some left over, assuming you've
gone this far within the time period. If not, it's still worth a nice sum of
PIX. Do some shopping business with Charme, and you'll eventually receive her
Business Card. Yayifications!


*-Stage Two-*
[Elves and Demons]

Visit the town square. You'll uncover a scene involving a little girl looking
for her sister. Remember that face. At some point, Charme should visit your
shop and tell you about the newest dungeon: Amber Garden. Unforunately, no
Amber anywhere, but better treasures are abound! Take your adventurer of
choice into the Amber Garden and delve to the deepest level.

After beating Tielle, Recette will show her sympathy and bring her back to the
shop for some healing. Awww. After a day or so, Tielle will be back up to
snuff and ready to leave. Like Charme, do some business with Tielle to earn
her business card.

Now for your first dose of the night life. Visit the Town Square at night
until you've viewed exactly three scenes with Griff. Next, have Griff visit
youre shop and tell you to leave, or else you'll face doom. How ominous. Have
Louie visit your shop next to tell you about a mysterious new dungeon that has
