(press the right mouse button to attach a silencer). 3 - Equip sniper rifle. 4/5 - Scroll through weapons. ############################################################################### (C) WEAPONS ############################################################################### ===== Knife ===== Used to take out enemies quietly from close range, or used as a last resort if you run out of ammo. ====== Pistol ====== This weapon holds a maximum of 17 shots and is very helpful. You can fire it pretty fast if needed by holding down the fire button. Also you can attach a silencer to it be pressing the right mouse button. ============ Sniper Rifle ============ This weapon is mainly used for attacking from a distance as it has a slow rate of fire and can't hold very many shots at once. You can zoom in by using the mouse wheel and get kills very easily with this weapon. If you find a target is moving too fast zoom out a little and you should be able to track him better. ############################################################################### (D) TIPS ############################################################################### Turn always run [caps lock] on! Even with it on I find your character still moves way to slow but at least it's faster than walking. Don't forget to use your night vision goggles! The first three stages are VERY dark, and even gamma correction doesn't help you too much. Using the night vision goggles however makes it much easier to see, and makes missions that much easier to complete successfully. Enemies are yellow or red dots on your compass, and your partner is a blue dot. You fail a stage if you OR your partner dies. Your partner can be very stupid at times and run in front of you while you're sniping, as you can imagine it sucks to fail a mission for sniping your partner. For the most part he stays behind you though, so you should be alright. In the later missions your partner can get himself killed trying to hunt down anything that moves, so it sometimes helps to set him so that he doesn't fire and stays in one spot while you take out some enemies yourself. When sniping you get much steadier aim the lower down you get. By laying flat on the ground your aim improves the most and you're that much harder to hit, so it really makes things a lot easier. The game autosaves for you at the start of each stage, but you can also use quicksave (F6) to make things easier or save (via the menu) in one of the five save slots as needed. I've had the game crash on me, and I had a guard get stuck in a spot where I couldn't kill him once making it impossible for me to finish the stage. ############################################################################### (E) WALKTHROUGH ############################################################################### Bricklayer J. Gastronomy You will find the walkthrough for the entire game in the sections below. ############################################################################### (E-01) STAGE 01 ############################################################################### ======== Briefing ======== "[Warlord Ghazi Kumar believed moving weapon shipment. Observe convoy and confirm. Damage convoy if possible. Blackhawk extraction east of convoy. Eliminate hostile resistance]" ========== Objectives ========== 1. Proceed to the observation point. [Within 10 minutes] 2. Observe the convoy. 3. Proceed to the extraction point. ========= The Stage ========= Save your game as soon as the stage starts, because sometimes your partner dies right away (nice way to start the game huh?). The first objective for this stage has a time limit (10 minutes) so don't waste any time. Also remember that you have three medkits, so use one (press p) whenever you need to. Quickly turn on your night vision goggles and switch to your sniper rifle. Use the red and yellow dots on your compass at the top of the screen to help find the enemies. There should be about four enemies in this area, so snipe them all to get a message from your partner to keep moving. Head southeast up the hill and past the buildings, then turn left and switch to your pistol. Put the silencer on it and make sure your partner is set to fire at will, then enter the nearby cave. Turn left and shoot the guard, then kill the pair that come running (possibly from behind). Continue along the path and kill a pair of guards where it forks. Take the left branch and kill a guard along the way, then exit the cave ahead as you reach a cliff. Wait here and shoot an enemy that approaches from one of the tunnels, a message should appear saying you've completed your first objective (the timer also stops). Switch to your sniper rifle and look left into the valley from the cliffside. Once the convoy appears let the first truck pass but snipe the pair of guards walking around behind it. Snipe the guard (and the driver if you want) in the last vehicle. Your partner radios HQ about seeing barrels of radioactive material in the trucks. Turn around and enter the left-most cave entrance of the three, then kill three guards as you head through the passage. Tell your partner to hold position before you leave the passage, then carefully use your sniper rifle once you're outside again to take out a guard on the bridge and a guard with a rocket launcher near the left end of the bridge. Now you can get your partner to follow you again, but before heading to the bridge turn right and snipe another guard on a nearby ledge. Head to the bridge now and snipe a guard on the other side, then start to cross the bridge. Turn right and snipe a pair of guards near the passage that you left earlier, then finish crossing the bridge. Use your sniper rifle and pistol to take out a trio of guards up ahead, then shoot a guard that tries to ambush you on the left path. Ignore the left path and continue northwest along your current path. Kill a pair of guards beside a large rock around the corner, then kill another guard by a larger rock up ahead. Continue onward to an open area, then use your pistol and sniper rifle to take out four guards (one of which is trying to snipe you on the cliff in the distance). A guard may try to ambush you from behind so kill him if he appears. Otherwise head up the ramp on your right to reach the high ground, then head north through the passage up ahead. Turn left at the open area and kill a pair of guards, then use your sniper rifle and head north to the edge of the cliff. Aim into the valley and shoot a sniper near the gap in the wall by the closest building. Turn around and enter the passage west of you, then kill a pair of guards before shooting a third one that approaches from behind you. Continue along the path and shoot another pair of guards, then enter the open area up ahead and use your sniper rifle to take out a trio of guards. Now simply continue onward until you reach the helicopter to end the stage. ############################################################################### (E-02) STAGE 02 ############################################################################### ======== Briefing ======== "[Observe convoy. Report on activity.] New orders just came down the wire sir. Intelligence has been digging deep and managed to find some answers in record time. Seems the barrels you spotted probably contain some fissile materials that were smuggled out of the Russian nuclear facility a few months ago. How Kumar got them is a complete mystery, but we need to find out what he wants with the stuff, and where it's going. Command wants you and Sergeant Cooper to make your way through the outskirts of the city where the convoy is headed for. We've found a local driver who will give you a ride most of the way. Try to find a decent observation point and watch for the truck with the fissile materials. We cannot and will not lose track of this shipment. Good luck Lieutenant." ========== Objectives ========== 1. Proceed to the observation point. ========= The Stage ========= Turn on your night vision goggles and make sure your partner is set to fire at will, then use your pistol on the pair of guards behind the truck. Switch to your sniper rifle and shoot the guard high up northwest of you, then head northeast past a tree and down a ramp/alley. Follow it to a pile of boxes as you use your pistol on a trio of guards, then turn right and notice doors on both walls. Go to the last door on the left wall and use the action button (F) to open it. Go down the hall and shoot the guard through the hole in the wall, then open the door beside him and kill any guards on the other side. Open the far right door and shoot any guards in the room beyond, then open the door at the end. Go down the stairs and shoot the three guards down here, then climb up the stairs at the northeast end of the room. Open the left door and kill a guard on the other side, then go up the nearby stairs instead of going left down the hallway. Go down the hall and turn left for a set of stairs and a pair of guards. Open the door once you're safely up the stairs, then walk onto the roof to end the stage. ############################################################################### (E-03) STAGE 03 ############################################################################### ======== Briefing ======== "[Eliminate Ghazi Kumar. Find LZ for extraction by Blackhawk.]" ========== Objectives ========== 1. Observe the sale of the fissible materials. 2. Eliminate Kumar. 3. Proceed to the extraction point. 4. Hold the extraction point until EVAC arrives. ========= The Stage ========= The first objective for this stage is cleared simply by watching the cutscene, if only they were all so easy. Once your partner is done contacting HQ order him to hold position (hopefully in the corner where he started), then equip your sniper rifle and get ready for some action. Head for the hole in the wall to the left of your partner and aim down at the man with the case (Kumar). Once you snipe him all the enemies in the area will know you're here so be ready. Snipe Kumar and the guard closest to him, then take out a sniper on the wall above. There is a second sniper to the right of your partner on the wall, once you take him out you can order your partner to fire at will and follow you. Switch on your night vision goggles and equip your pistol, then open the nearby door and go down the stairs beyond. Kill a pair of guards at the bottom before heading to the nearby hall, then turn left and kill another guard. Head down the stairs beside him and shoot a pair of guards, then open the door on your left and shoot the guard in the room beyond. Open the next door and shoot a guard as you come down the stairs, then kill two more guards in the same room. Enter the sewers next through the door in the north corner of the room, then shoot the guard on your left side at the bottom of the stairs. If you're careful you can even shoot him in the arm before he sees you to kill him. Take the left path and snipe a trio of guards, then head for the door to the right of them. Open it and shoot the guard up ahead, then rush into the room and shoot the sniper on the pile of boxes before he can shoot you. Go down the hall to your left as you shoot a pair of guards, then turn left and open the door before killing two more guards up ahead. Follow the path to a lone guard and a ladder, then kill the guard and start climbing the ladder. Kill the guard at the top of the ladder and head for the open area up ahead. Your partner contacts HQ to call for an evacuation helicopter, but you need to wait three minutes for it to arrive. A three minute timer starts and enemies start appearing from doors and a nearby rooftop. Switch to your sniper rifle lay down on the ground and try your best to hold off the enemies until the helicopter arrives. It's not very hard, just make your shots count and try your best to keep your partner alive if he's having trouble. By laying flat on the ground your aim improves and you're that much harder to hit, so it makes things a lot easier. Once the helicopter arrives simply touch it to end the stage. ############################################################################### (E-04) STAGE 04 ############################################################################### ======== Briefing ======== "[Unknown terror network transported nuclear materials to this location. Assist Russian Spetsnaz with recovery. Briefing enroute by Captain Grovadazich.]" ========== Objectives ========== 1. Eliminate all terrorists at first checkpoint. 2. Eliminate all terrorists at second checkpoint. 3. Eliminate all terrorists at last checkpoint. 4. Proceed to enemy compound. ========= The Stage ========= This stage is a lot easier if you do it quickly, this way you get to the checkpoints before the convoy does. Which means that it takes less (if any) damage, and therefore there's less chance of you failing the mission. In order to gain this extra advantage all you need to do is keep moving, try not to stop in one spot. Snipe as you run forward, if anything the targets are getting closer so they should be easier to hit. Also the dogs in the stage obviously can't fire guns, so they can only attack you at close range. As such you should try to kill them from as far away as possible, before they can get close enough to hurt you. There are a number of trees in this stage and they really block your view of the enemies that you have to shoot. However if you look carefully you can often faintly see the outline of the enemy through the tree. To make things even better you can easily shoot them when they hide behind a tree if you can see them. Make sure your partner is set to fire at will, then equip your sniper rifle and head northwest. There's nothing exceptionally difficult on the way to the first checkpoint really, just one dog and about twelve guards. Watch your compass and keep moving, you should be fine. Once you reach the first checkpoint you should lay down for better aim, then shoot the pair of guards in each tower along with the pair of guards by the building near the gate. That should do it for the first checkpoint, now head northeast towards the second one. Now work your way past about thirty guards and a dog on the way to the next checkpoint (it's not hard, it's just like the way to the first checkpoint). You'll want to save before you reach the second checkpoint, because twice I've had a guard get stuck in the right guard tower and NEVER COME OUT. This means that the checkpoint can't be cleared and you can't beat the stage, it's VERY annoying. To hopefully avoid this happening take out the guard in the right guard tower first, then get the pair in the other tower. Shoot the pair of guards by the building near the gate, then get another guard on the ground nearby. Go onward past the guard towers a little as two guards come running towards the gate, then snipe them to clear the checkpoint. Head northwest past around fifteen guards and one dog (just like you've done twice before) to reach the final checkpoint. The guard in the left tower has a rocket launcher so take him out before anyone else. Now shoot the guard in the other tower and the two by the building on the ground to clear the checkpoint. Head southwest next as you kill about eight guards and another dog, then walk down the hill beyond and walk up another hill up ahead to end the stage. ############################################################################### (E-05) STAGE 05 ############################################################################### ======== Briefing ======== "[Support Spetsnaz. Local resistance confirmed as terror network agents. International affiliation unknown.]" ========== Objectives ========== 1. Traverse the compound. 2. Protect the convoy. ========= The Stage ========= Switch to your sniper rifle and make sure your partner is set to fire at will, then climb the pair of ladders straight ahead. Snipe the guard ahead of you before killing 2 others on this roof, then head northwest and snipe a guard on both walkways. Head towards the closest walkway and snipe the pair of guards on the other side of it, then start to cross the bridge as your partner warns you. Turn around to snipe a guard, then turn around again to snipe another one. Finish crossing the walkway and jump at the end if your character gets stuck for some reason. Head towards the next walkway and snipe the three guards on the rooftops in the distance, then cross the walkway and kill the guard on the next roof. Jump on the nearby ledge and shoot about four guards near the convoy, then head northwest as you kill two guards that approach from the south. Take the northwest walkway to a door, then open the door to find a set of three doors. Open the rightmost door first for a pair of guards, then go back to the hall and open the next door for another two guards to kill. Leave the room and enter the next door down the hall, then kill a nearby guard and go left to some boxes and a trio of guards. Turn around and open the left door for a pair of guards to kill, then return to the boxes and head left to a set of stairs. Climb the stairs and open the door at the top, then kill the pair of guards on the roof outside. Snipe another pair of guards on the roof northwest of you, then cross a walkway to get over there. Head to a second walkway beyond and cross it to reach a door, but don't enter it yet. Head to the far right corner of the roof instead and jump on the ledge, then aim left a little at a small hut. Snipe the guard inside through the window, then return to the nearby door and enter it. Use your pistol on the guard as you climb down the stairs, then open the door at the bottom and snipe two guards on the floor of the next room. Climb down the ladder to your right and go to the northwest end of the room. Kill the guard by the ramp, then go down the ramp and through the passage to reach the next room. Shoot the pair of guards here and open the door northwest of you, then shoot the guard outside and the pair of guards to your left near the convoy. Head north up the hill as you kill a guard, then follow the path as you kill two more guards. Finally jump on the area up ahead where the two guards were to end the stage. ############################################################################### (E-06) STAGE 06 ############################################################################### ======== Briefing ======== "[Provide cover fire for Spetsnaz. They MUST survive. Prevent escape of weapon experts.]" ========== Objectives ========== 1. Escort the convoy to the base. 2. Provide covering fire for the SPETsNAZ. 3. Eliminate all terrorists and reinforcements. 4. Take down the fleeing scientists. ========= The Stage ========= This stage may sound difficult but in practice it's really pretty easy because your sniping skills should be quite good by now. The first part of the stage is pretty short and uneventful, then the last part doesn't have any walking but has a lot of sniping. Make sure your partner is set to fire at will, then switch to your sniper rifle and go along the path until you see a guard tower. Snipe the four guards in the tower and continue along the path, then shoot a pair of guards up ahead and go to their corpses. Snipe two more guards in the trees up ahead, then head northwest past the trees and go slightly down the ramp up ahead that leads to a nice sniping ledge. Aim for the gate on your left as the convoy approaches it, then snipe the pair of guards there as the gate opens. The convoy stops in a few seconds, so run down the ramp and get into position on the sniping ledge. You will stay on this ledge for the rest of the stage, just sniping every yellow or red dot that shows up on your compass. The enemies show up on the ground around the two large buildings, they also show up on the roof of both buildings. There are a couple of enemies in a guard tower above the right building, and finally guards show up in a window high up on the mountains to your left. These are the main areas that you should check if you can't find an enemy that your compass is indicating. The Spetsnaz get out of the truck once it stops and take up firing positions near the large pair of buildings. Remember to keep an eye on your compass for enemies but also be aware that not all enemies show up on your compass. Basically the troops dressed in black are not your own, so shoot them. After taking out a number of enemies the Spetsnaz enter the pair of buildings, then enemies largely come from behind the pair of buildings and run towards the doors at the front. Shoot as many as you can, after which some snipers high in the left mountains will likely shoot at you. Take them out as well as a sniper on a walkway in the distance and another sniper in the tower to your right as they appear. You should hear a helicopter before your partner warns you about reinforcements. Look left towards the gate to see a pair of trucks approaching, then snipe the four guards that come out of them (be careful not to hit your own troops). Now that the reinforcements are taken care of you should aim towards the pair of buildings once more. Snipe a large number of guards in the area just like before as your partner requests a bomber. You should hear the bomber dropping bombs shortly after, then once you take out some more guards you should aim for the left rooftop and snipe a pair of guards near your troops. Shoot a guard that climbs up and tries to shoot them from behind, then quickly shoot a pair of guards on the tower to your right. Shoot more swarms of enemies including a trio in the tower and one in the window on the left mountains. Shortly afterwards your partner informs you that the weapons experts are trying to escape. You should see about four yellow dots on your compass, with the targets actually pretty far in the distance. I don't think it's actually possible to kill them (I never saw their bodies fall), but if you fire at them as they run you should see a cutscene pretty soon afterwards as the stage ends. ############################################################################### (E-07) STAGE 07 ############################################################################### ======== Briefing ======== "[Terror network controls abandoned launch facility. Neutralize defensive positions for Spec Ops to land.]" ========== Objectives ========== 1. Eliminate beach patrols and infiltrate base. 2. Eliminate guards at first AA gun emplacement. 3. Proceed to and clear second AA gun emplacement. 4. Clear the bunker. ========= The Stage ========= This stage is really short and really easy so enjoy it. Make sure your partner is set to fire at will, then equip your sniper rifle and kill the pair of guards around the corner. Head past the large rock and tree, then turn right and look up at the AA guns. Snipe three guards up there to clear your first objective, then head southeast as you snipe a pair of guards around the large rocks. Head to the bunker up ahead and take out the pair of guards around it, then go inside and shoot a third guard to complete your fourth objective. Head east as you take out three guards around the rocks, then head to the trees up ahead and snipe a guard high on a cliff beyond them. Two guards come running for you now so snipe them before continuing onward, then head for the wall behind them. Once you get close to the wall a pair of guards appear above, so snipe them and climb up to their bodies. Continue your climb southeast and take out a trio of guards around the rock, then head southwest and shoot two more guards out in the open. Climb onto the nearby rock and face southeast, then shoot the guards in the windows of both AA gun turrets (there should be four total). Continue southwest to a small grey area of land that's really a sewer grate to end the stage. ############################################################################### (E-08) STAGE 08 ############################################################################### ======== Briefing ======== "[Advance through defenses. Disable power if possible.]" ========== Objectives ========== 1. Explore the base with caution. 2. Prevent terrorists from reaching the tower. 3. Proceed to the lower walls. 4. Disable the breaker boxes. 5. Clear the LZ so choppers can touch down. ========= The Stage ========= This stage is fairly easy, you just need to make sure you don't waste time during the first part. Equip your pistol and put the silencer on it, then duck under the wall and approach your partner to start a cutscene. Set your partner to fire at will after the cutscene, then quickly climb the nearby ladder and head for another one around the fence. Climb the ladder and shoot the nearby guard, then go down the hall a little before climbing up a set of stairs. Go right when the path branches, then open the right door up ahead. Shoot the four guards inside as you climb a set of stairs, then open the door at the top and run outside. Quickly take out the lone guard running away from you while ignoring all others. Once he's dead you can kill the other 3-4guards in the area, then head southwest and climb up a set of stairs. Kill a pair of guards and switch to your sniper rifle, then go right down some stairs and snipe a guard on the wall below. Climb down the ladder on your right and snipe a guard northeast of you, then climb the southeast stairs and follow the small L-shaped path around. Your partner should mention cutting the power to the base when you can't go any farther. Switch to your sniper rifle and shoot each of the three boxes that have cables running from them in the distance to cut the power. Your partner contacts HQ and a number of enemies start swarming from the area of the power boxes. Shoot the guards in the two jeeps first, then just snipe the rest of the enemies as they appear until the stage ends. ############################################################################### (E-09) STAGE 09 ############################################################################### ======== Briefing ======== "[Road to launch facility ambush heavy. Protect Spec Ops transports at all costs.]" ========== Objectives ========== 1. Clear a path for the convoy. ========= The Stage ========= Set your partner to fire at will, then equip your sniper rifle and start to follow the path. Snipe a trio of guards, then go onward until your partner warns you of a sniper. Lay flat on the ground and shoot the sniper when your partner spots him, then follow the path around the corner to some small wooden buildings on your left. Tell your partner to hold his position and his fire here, then follow the path a little more and shoot a guard on a ledge midway up the wall ahead. He actually has a rocket launcher so start strafing to dodge rockets if he sees you. Once he's dead you can get your partner to follow you again as you shoot three nearby guards. Continue down the path and take out a pair of guards as it turns, then have your partner hold while you carefully watch the ledge midway up the left wall. A guard with a rocket launcher is up there past the nearby tree, so find him and kill him before he notices you. Now get your partner to follow you again as you kill four more guards (one of which is a sniper in some bushes on your right). Head down the path a little and drop to the ground to take out a sniper in some bushes ahead as well as a second guard in the same area. Follow the path around the corner and watch the left set of rocks, then snipe the trio of guards that tries to ambush you from them. Have your partner hold as you follow the path a little, then look left past the growth of three trees to find a guard on a cliff with a rocket launcher. Take him out before he notices you, then get your partner to follow you as you take out three guards in this area. Hug the right slope and aim past the trees to take out a sniper, then follow the path a little as you look right near a large rock in the distance. Snipe a guard there and two others on your compass, then go forward a little and aim between the large rock and the slope to your right to a mound in the distance. Shoot the guard there and follow the path, then kill the pair of guards that show on your compass. Follow the path until it points north, then order your partner to hold. Snipe a nearby guard and another guard in the bushes to your right, then aim for the cliff to your right as you kill a sniper. There's another guard on the cliff just past him but you probably can't hit him yet from where you are. Move ahead slowly until you have a clear shot at the guard, then take it and go north a little more. Snipe the trio of guards that appear on your compass, then watch the cliff on your right as you head up the path some more. You should see a tree growing out of the same cliff up ahead, watch that spot because there is a guard with a rocket launcher slightly left of that tree. Move enough to get him in your sights, then kill him before he notices you. Head north and snipe a pair of guards, then get ready for a guard with a rocket launcher. He's around the corner so I recommend the usual strafing to avoid his shots as you snipe him, hopefully without your partner following you and getting himself killed. Once the guard is dead you can head northeast along the path and snipe about eight guards (including two that ambush you from the hill on your left). Head northwest down the path while sniping three guards, then order your partner to hold as you continue northwest a little. You should be able to spot a pair of guards high on a ledge up ahead, save your game before shooting one of them. Quickly shoot the guard with the rocket launcher that comes running from behind them, then kill the other guard on the cliff. Follow the path and kill the trio of guards up ahead, then approach the wooden gate to start a cutscene and end the stage. ############################################################################### (E-01) STAGE 10 ############################################################################### ======== Briefing ======== "[Assist the commandos during assault. Clear the gates so ground forces can enter. 3. Eliminate all resistance at first checkpoint. 4. Eliminate all resistance at second checkpoint. 5. Eliminate all resistance at third checkpoint. ========= The Stage ========= The convoy moves briefly before stopping due to guards with rocket launchers in the area. Switch to your sniper rifle and set your partner to fire at will, then go past the first two trucks and run up the ramp on your right. Get comfortable on the nice sniping spot at the top, then snipe a guard through the window of both towers. Snipe the left guard of the two on the ground as he has a rocket launcher, then shoot the other to complete your second objective. Turn right and enter the cave as you kill a guard inside, then watch as your partner contacts HQ. Exit the cave at the other end and shoot a guard to your right, then watch your compass and start sniping enemies to keep the ground troops safe. Once you get the message about clearing out the checkpoint head northwest into another cave. Shoot a pair of guards, then slowly head towards the exit as you shoot three more guards. A guard with a rocket launcher is outside so you need to be careful, set your partner to hold his position and his fire. Face the left cave wall and slowly strafe right, the rocket launcher guard is hidden in a small bush to the left of the large cave opening. If you make sure that you are halfway covered by the cave wall, then the rockets shouldn't hit you. However don't take any chances and try to snipe that guard as soon as possible. Afterwards you can get your partner to follow you and fire at will once more before killing the guard nearby. Enter the next cave and kill the pair of guards on the other side, then go out into the open and find a nice view of the area. Shoot the guards that appear on your compass to protect the ground troops at this checkpoint. Some guards also appear on the building to your left, but protecting the troops is your top priority so focus on them. Some troops don't show up on your compass so look out for black uniforms and shoot them. Once your partner tells you the checkpoint is clear you should enter the next cave on your right. Kill the pair of guards inside and head left when the path branches, then be sure to save before leaving the cave. Once outside you need to snipe more guards that keep appearing, but this time half of them have rocket launchers. The large rock is a good way to avoid the rockets if you have to but it's best to take out those guards before they get a chance to shoot. The rocket launcher guards tend to spawn just below the tower that has the stairs wrapped around it. After you hold off the guards for a bit your partner will point out the terrorist leader, who is trying to reach the top of the tower to launch the missiles. Quickly kill him before he reaches the top or you fail the mission. You can actually shoot him through the window when he reaches the top if you're quick but it's best to kill him before he gets that far. Once you kill the terrorist leader you get to sit back and watch the ending, but you can also watch a shorter bad ending if you let him reach the top of the tower. ############################################################################### (F) GLITCHES ############################################################################### This section describes glitches in the game that either cause it to crash, make levels impossible to clear or are just plain funny. Information is also provided to try and avoid the glitches of the two former types, as well as instructions to reproduce the harmless ones. ======== Stage 04 ======== A guard sometimes gets stuck in the right guard tower at the second checkpoint and never comes out. This means that you cannot clear the checkpoint and cannot clear the stage, so make sure you use your quicksave before reaching the second checkpoint. Also try to take out the guards in that tower first to prevent the glitch. ======== Stage 05 ======== When leaving the final building of the stage and taking out some guards around the convoy, the game sometimes crashes without warning if you attempt to quicksave. In addition the game continues to crash any time you try to load that quicksave. Try to quicksave before leaving the final building and avoid using it for the short remainder of this stage. ======== Stage 09 ======== This isn't a dangerous glitch for once but I find it a pretty funny one. Once you've cleared the entire stage of enemies for the convoy you reach a set of wooden doors. Your partner radios for C4 and a cutscene appears that shows the troops using it to open the door. The funny part is that you can walk right up to the gate and press the action button to open it, no C4 is even needed! This also lets you explore some bizarre half-finished areas beyond the gate that you were never really meant to see, at least until the cutscene starts that is. ############################################################################### (G) EXPERIMENTAL ############################################################################### For a little while now I've had a paypal link in all my FAQs at the very bottom here.
