Two Worlds II: Shattered Embrace. This game walkthrough is part of the Two Worlds II HD: Shattered Embrace package which installs four games in the series, Two Worlds II, Pirates of The Flying Fortress, Call of The Tenebrae, and Shattered Embrace. To temporarily enable cheats, open the console and input cotcheats If playing the PC version, you can run faster by holding down the right mouse button. When playing any of the four games in the HD installation, cheats and items in all four games are available. When starting a new game in Shattered Embrace, it's advisable to temporarily use the cheat immortal 1 to get past the death rays from the starting beach. Using this cheat does not interfere with achievements. Once past the death rays, use cheat immortal 0 to turn it off. After destroying 2 or 3 devices and getting past the death rays and fighting giant ingots or running past them, there's lots of chests. To get lots of lockpicks: ec.addobjecttoinventory lockpick xx The xx is amount of lockpicks you want. When your abilities are high enough, you can create two very useful spells: Three VERY useful cheats: Items to make a spell that opens the most difficult chest. Perform the following cheats: ec.addobjecttoinventory wp_staff_23 ec.addobjecttoinventory spell_amulet_01 ec.addobjecttoinventory card_water_ice 10 ec.addobjecttoinventory card_enchant 10 Now create the item in the cards section. Equip your staff and select the spell close to a chest. A spell much brighter than a torch and it lasts 135 seconds each use. You need a spell_amulet_01, card_fire_force , card_area , and card_time 10 Create the spell, equip your staff, select the spell and fire away. ec.addobjecttoinventory wp_dagger_36-dagger_6658 Smart Traveler Dagger, permanent waterwalking when equipped. TIP: One final useful cheat, if you ever need invisibility and you don't have any invisibility potions, use the following cheat and enemies ignore you until you attack: player.invisibleforenemies 1 Finally, you'll be confronted by Captain Shagir. Follow him into the castle. You talk to the King. Continue forward and speak with the Queen in the central area of the castle. Continue NE and go up 2 flights of stairs to find Aoibheann outside your room and talk to her. Enter your room and pick up several potions, where ever there's a sparkling effect. Some in two large cabinets. A large chest has auras. Outside room again talk to Aoibheann. Go on up many stairs to top floor. Loot large chest. Go down to the level just above main ground floor. To left of lighthouse painting, go down one level and through small door to the King and Dar Pha. Talk to them. Exit the room and go down another level. Find a chest under the stairs. Go through the large door and down the winding stone steps to three guys at a locked gate. You'll probably be down here much later. Go back up the stone steps and through the door. Go up the regular stairs two levels, and down main stairs to the conference room. Go to library in the small northwest area. Talk to Orias the rat character. Pick up six books and read them. In the small round southeast area, speak to Casbrim. Talk a second time and finish all options. Loot the large chest. You can enter a small door to the sewer, but there's nothing there yet. In the large square area of the gardens to the northwest speak with Queen Arbellen. On your way out of the Audience Chamber, there's two tables of potions and four attribute boosting lights. Continue southwest out of the building and cross the long bridge. In the smaller round area go to the gate of druids at the hunter's quarters on the left. In inventory click the security token to show it to the guard. Go due east to Captain Shagir ( 30_d2 2757 3471 306 ) at the northeast corner map pin and get a key. Go just northeast to Finglor's house and enter. Go upstairs and take document, then close inventory. Message says to read the document. In inventory read the document, then close inventory. Outside, return just southwest and speak with Shagir. You get an updated token. On the map F6, make your way due west across the round area, towards the Gate of Librarians. Click inventory token to show it to the guard. Go through the gate, then go due west to a potion salesman on the left. If your stats are high enough, on the right side of the salesman at 2282 533 280 the potion sparkles show through the wall, you can safely take 10 potions. Back east and south, and southeast across the street to Perakir's house nearby and speak with Shagir. You get a key. Enter the house and tell Lady Nuriel "No, I can't... But perhaps I can save....". You get a cellar key. Finish talking. Go down the nearby trapdoor. Go into secret room and kill Puffy the beast. There is several items and five chests. Find Perakir's diary and read it. Exit the cellar and go on upstairs and loot the large chest. Go outside and tell Shagir everything. Your token is updated again. Back north, then east through previous gate. Head southeast through the large courtyard, to the Gate of Blacksmiths. In inventory click your token to show it to the guard. Go through the gate. The Old Fort is just southwest. Enter the south doorway. Talk to Captain Shagir who gives you a key. Go through the nearby door. Pick up items and loot chests as you go along. Fight scanning bots. At security gate you need a password. Nearby pick up intern/inventor's notes and read them. Again talk at security gate. Another security gate, talk. Go left and picklock the west gate. Fight some spirits. F6 to view main map. Go to X at the west central processing unit, along the way more spirits. At another gate, talk. In the west processing unit defeat 3 huge Ingots. There's a switch on the west wall, by the chest. Now talk to the unit. Now go to the east processing unit and operate a switch. Now head just south to the Library with a ton of Irinite Crystal Dust dlc2_ing23 . Get the hacked ward's scroll from the table. View map to see location of Inactive Ward. Access the Ward and give it the hacked ward's scroll. Fight some Shadows. Head north and fight 2 Igots. Go to the X Rogue processing unit. After destroying it, go to the X Master of the wards. Destroy Finglor, Shagir helps you, talk. Search Finglor and take all, including an exit key. Before leaving, pick up the 8 potions. Go out the north most corridor to outside and talk to Shagir. Your security token is updated with two more crystals. Just northeast is the map X for Lady Nuriel. Go due east and through the Gate of Blacksmith's, then NNE and through Gate of Librarians, then west, south, and east into Nuriel's house ( 2629 345 289 ) and talk to her on all. Now your journal, F7 Riddle Solved, says you need to see Chancellor Casbrim. On map notice "Riddle Solved" just east of the Royal Gardens teleport. Go there and talk on all with Chancellor Casbrim on the raised area. On map, notice small square area to northwest ( 30_d1 1536 3054 289 ) with the queen marker. Once there, have a lengthy talk. At the map X Captain Shagir ( 530 812 287 ) talk on all options. Now for some side quests: due southeast in the pointed corner, go to the map pin Andrelenotir The Gardner. Tell him "Well, I've dealt.... " Get the 3 termite eggs, then go through the crack in the wall. Northwest in the tunnel is the Ant Nest. After you destroy all the ants in the nest, you must get a screen message. There's lots of treasure. Go up the ladder and exit in NE hallway. At the Gardner nearby, you get a key. On the map X to the west Great Architect's key. At the Architect Statue, it aims at a building. Pass through that building. Continue to do this until you are told to Find The Spot. If not, just go up the stairs by the potion salesman. Then to the right is the busted door. With the red lock symbol showing, click the correct inventory key. Go through the doorway. Upstairs on the balcony is a chest. Downstairs go through the east corner door. Defeat several ghosts. In the tomb are 50,000 auras and a shield. Back up the ladder and exit to the outside. To the southwest is a map pin Ilaesir The Painter. Agree to Take Part in his quest. Make your way to Gate of Blacksmiths, then to Gate of Librarians, then just northwest to the Art Gallery X The Jealous Painter. At each Portrait, click white paint in inventory. You run out of paint ( dlc3_white_paint ). Back south near Gate of Battlemages is the X Searching For Ilaesir's Place. Upstairs, get two cans of paint from the chest. Return to the Art Gallery and finish the remaining 2 portraits. Return to the Silver Unicorn Tavern and speak to Ilaesar. Nearby in the Tavern, speak with Tristanil and tell him "Ah, young love... ". You're new location is the X Meteorite Crater to the south. Just south is the Gate of Pathfinders which you can't get through just yet, at least not without cheating. There's several ways you can do this: The easiest way, with cheat console activated enter the following and take it back to Tristanil in the Silver Unicorn Tavern. ec.addobjecttoinventory dlc3_meteorite_shard If you don't want to cheat, you'll have to wait until your Security Token is upgraded and get through the gate normally. Now back to the main quest. Go to the Gate of Librarians and go through. Continue west and before the gate, head north to the map pin the Wandmaker. You get a Holly Wand. Click it in inventory and close inventory. You get a Willow Wand. Click it in inventory. Close inventory. You get a Vine wand. Click it in inventory. Close inventory. You finally have Lavonderil's Special wand in inventory. Go back just south, then west to Lieutenant Kardir, he updates your token. At the guard, click your token in inventory. Go through the gate and make your way west to Royal guard checkpoint. First check out the decorative building and pick up several large potions. Then if no one is watching, loot the large chest. You might have to be invisible ( ec.addobjecttoinventory potion_invisible_01 ). At the bridge talk to Sergeant Kestaril on all. Continue the bridge west through the rocks. Straight ahead to the large building, on the right, to see wooden steps leading up to the entrance of Crazy Ivan's Tavern. Speak with him on all. Exit the tavern and go left to find Orias. Once there, talk on all. Return to Crazy Ivan and ask him "And where would I look...". On the map notice the X Bear Beginnings on mainland to southeast. Along the way you might have to kill a wild bear or two. Be sure you turn walk on with Tab. Once you find the bear, it is actually wild, talk to it. Beat it into submission with a weapon so that it will follow you to Ivan's beach party X to the northwest. You might have to beat the bear more and walk (Tab). Put your weapon away and often use your fists on the bear. Once at Ivan's beach gathering, he didn't mean a real bear! Tell him "Right. And where's that shipwreck? You have to swim to the far northwest to the stranded site "Bear On The Ship". You can swim or maybe use the jump cheat: jump 30_a1 and don't move again jump 552 3213 14 Defeat the spirits. The figurine is in a chest. Just off ship, where the ground is solid, drop a personal teleport platform and teleport back near Ivan's place and go talk to him on everything. Now go to the middle pier section, west of Ivan's Tavern, to Master Laginus ( 2522 1242 30 ) and tell him "Fine, I will get them, then say "I'll try". For now, go to the indicated map to the "Fish Barrel" ( 2000 1330 35 ). The stowaways want some ale. Tell them "Sure, we've all been ...". Go back to Ivan's ( 3059 1384 59 ) and tell him "I want to help them...", he gives you some ale. Go back to the Fish Barrel and get an ancient hammer. Near the barrel is a teleport in the water. Near the teleport is an entrance to a large tunnel system. Enter, then SAVE. Note where the exit is. In this tunnel system are Ghosts of human citizens, many beasts, and chests. When you've had enough, find the exit and go outside. You'll be back to this tunnel system later on. Now go to the north section to map indication for Abraham Vanderbilt ( 2206 2008 16 ). Tell him "That the guy responsible..." To the far southeast, is the X Revisiting The Foundry. Teleport near there if possible. Once you cross the arched bridge and through the entry, to the right go through the golden door. Now SAVE. Head to the end of the first west hallway and speak to the Central Processing Unit. You get a password. Work your way north to the next west hallway and destroy any security bots. Get 3 ward crystals from the west bot. Return to Abraham ( 30_a1 2206 2008 16 ) in the north part of the walkways just west of the twin huts. Abraham needs time to study the crystals. In the southern market, go to Charles Mendel ( 2596 1062 15 ). Tell him "Here we go again..." Now back north to the Twin Huts and speak with Bernard Vanderbilt ( 2519 2076 36 ) sitting on the floor or standing. Tell him "A Contract? Fine.." You get a password "Silver Dragon". Teleport to Gate of Blacksmiths or Old Fort. Go to X "Revisiting Shadinar: The New Fort. Go north to the door with two guards ( 30_c2 3711 2880 296 ). Enter and go straight south to Sergeant Nidaril and talk. Go back north to the 4-way intersection and head west to the double X's. At the gate, there should be a screen message. Head east and destroy 4 security bots. Go back to Sergeant Nidaril and talk. Leave, and near a cabinet, hide Polly in the cabinet and walk away. Nidaril leaves. Back to the control room and operate 3 levers. Don't forget Polly. Back west and south to the 2 X's. Destroy 2 security bots. Loot the two chests. Return to Bernard at the twin huts at the north side of the pier walkways ( 30_a1 2519 1242 36 ) and talk. Return south on the boardwalks to Logan's Treasures, Laginu ( 2522 1242 30 ). Talk but he wants all of his treasures at the same time. Finish all talking. You need to visit the Fletcher, Dar Pha's quarters, and the Gromish Scientist' hut on the beech just SW from the checkpoint at Free Haven.. First, the Elven Fletcher. A bit south from the Gate of Battlemages ( 30_c2 1924 2324 286 ). Tell him "Count me in", talk to him on all. Now back to Twin Huts. ( 30_a1 2519 2076 36 ) The arms dealer should be fishing. Loot his chest for a device and a book, read the book. Go back to the Fletcher. Choose a bow or crossbow. You get a lock of hair. Head NE through Royal Gardens and NE side to map pin Elven Cosmetics. Go up two stairs and enter the room. Get the Cosmetics from a small chest. Now back to Royal Guard Checkpoint to the west. Just SW from there, is Grim Grimdahl the Gromish Scientist, tell him "Despite being the greatest....". Agree to his quest to collect seagull dung. The Seagull colony X at the far southeast. On the way near there are many many Dryad warriors. Safely get to the X with the cheat jump 30_d4 and jump 2837 912 19 At the patches of guano, click the guano sampler in inventory to get some guano. Now return to the Gromish Scientist ( 30_b1 695 963 15 ) at the far NW and collect a reward. Before game updates 2.07.1 and 2.07.2 you had to stand at the bottom of the steps, but Grim keeps getting in the way. Sometimes you get the hand icon for the horn under the table. In this situation you had to cheat: Open cheat console and place cursor near your feet and type dlc3_golden_horn and hit Enter. Pick up the horn. After the two updates, the Golden Horn is next to a wagon wheel at the edge of the water so pick it up. Return to Mendel just west at the southern part of the boardwalks and talk. You get Laginu's figurine. You learn about a Mysterious shop. Go to the central area of the boardwalks and speak with Laginu ( 30_a1 2429 1288 24 ). You should have all he needs and he gives you several items. Now for some more side questing. X Mysterious Shop in Mages Quarter: Just southeast from The Former School of Magic teleport. Speak to David on all. Now go back to Mendel at the boardwalk area and talk about his chickens. Southwest from the gate of Blacksmiths, at the Elven Fletcher location, talk to Dan'Endil the minstrel. Agree to his request. Go to Crazy Ivan's tavern. In the back of the room, go down the trapdoor entrance. Kill all or as many of the little guys possible. Eventually you'll find the Balalaika lying on the floor. With it in inventory, return to Dano'Endil the minstrel/Bard, southwest from gate of blacksmiths teleport. Return to Bernard at the Twin Huts. The Guard camp is due east from the royal guard checkpoint. Tell captain Shagir "My friend is a ...". Go back to Bernard at the Twin Huts. Then at the tavern tell Kardir "Give the contract to me". Before talking to Bernard again, SAVE. Go back to Bernard at the twin huts. Now you're on a timer, hurry to the tavern and talk to Kardir. Back to Bernard, tell him "Helping you..." and "I'll check it out". You have to go to the X The Mystery of Baramir's Tower. Teleport to the Royal Gardens teleport, you're interrupted. After talking, go to Mendel's house at the boardwalks. Pick up his diary and read it. On the map the X Southern Slopes at far SSE. Getting there is nearly impossible, until a later quest makes the area available. The easiest way is use the cheats jump 30_b3 and hit Enter, then jump 342 2926 24 continue to the X and kill the 4 mutated chickens and talk to Mendel. Use your main teleport stone and return to David, southeast from The Former School of Magic. Go check on Mendel at the south end of the boardwalks. He's a chicken. Tell him "Alright, I'll do it". Go to the X The New Fort. There, go due north to the door with 2 guards. Through the door, go to the X Guards Special Weaponry. Fight some security bots. In the chest get the Enchantment Remover. Return to Mendel and talk to automatically give the Cure. Teleport to the Royal Gardens teleport. Go to the X The Mystery of Baramir's Tower. Inside, head south and take round tunnel to your right. Find Sergeant Berelcir. He says the key is in his desk. Leave the room, nearby, put Polly in the barrel. Get a key from the desk. In another room, use the key to open a gate and get the staff from a chest. At any glowing gate, click the staff in inventory to disable the gate and just walk on through. Find your way out. Go to Bernard at the Twin Huts, tell him "Keep it that way". Another quest. Go to X News On The Corridors, at Laginu. DON'T talk. Put fake blade in the chest and take the real blade. Go back to Bernard. Tell him "Why not... ". Larlandor has the final item. But where could he be? He's a teacher! Now back to the main quest. Make your way to Orias, just north of Ivan's tavern. After talking, head to the Sunken gate just west from the central area. Enter and go just west to X Descent. Through the gate and to next X. Take the round tunnel just before the shimmering room. Keep checking the map to reach Pipe Up. Eventually take the first north path and you throw a device. Defeat some ghost warriors. Look at the map on the wall. Go to next X "All Hands To The Pumps" on the east side. Fight more ghosts. Find valve wheel to drain the room. Find a ladder down into the drained room. Go through the east half tunnel to more ghosts.. Go to X Under The Pump, with latest game updates 2.07.1/2.07.2 Find and operate another switch at water level. Swim up and climb the ladder. Go to next X Pump Out and fight. Go to X Eastern Corridors and find 6 glowing switches. One is sparkling so move it. Now the path is cleared. Go to the X Southeastern Corridor and climb the ladder. Go left at the logs and get 3000 gold, from the campfire on the beech. Head south to Master Laginu. After talking to him on the beech, you're teleported to another small beech (the hero says "Son of a beach!). Choose the closest X passage. Work your way to X First Contact. You eventually end up at some ruins and meet up with Orias. Then, in the NW part of the ruins, enter a tower and fight many ghosts. A guarded chest contains a Seeing Stone of Gromsh, a quest item. On the west side of the tower you can speak with the Rat Lertis. In these ruins are 3 teleports. Work your way to the X Leaving The Ruins due south. Head due east on the pathway and eventually get a screen message to get off the main path. At a Y intersection, take the left path (northern most one) and continue along east. Your quarry runs ahead. Run after him and he creates enemies that you must destroy. Once you kill enough, he runs ahead again throwing bombs, creating more enemies that you must destroy. Running after him, you reach the bridge where he releases the Occular. Destroy him and Dar Pha shows up, giving you a letter for Orias. Before leaving, you must search the body and take everything. Continue just east to a teleport and use it back west to the ruins and give the letter to Orias ( 30_a3 1969 2157 3 ). He says someone else needs the letter. Orias's portal becomes unstable and you throw the dagger/letter into the portal. Talk on all dialogue. Now teleport back near the bridge and talk on all with Dar Pha on the bridge. Just east, use the teleport to the Royal Gardens teleport. Then head northeast to get an audience. You're instructed to speak to general Kardir ( 30_d2 1494 1675 286 ) at the X Gate of Pathfinders (Sharrean Forest). Once through the gate, there's something to check on first. Your Journal\Expert Side Adventure\Mission from the Mayor, says that Laginu is now willing to give you a job. Teleport back to the boardwalks at far west, and west of the Tavern, and speak with Laginu. Tell him "Fine. What exactly... ". You get a key. Just west at the sunken teleport, enter the Sunken Ruins. Near the ladder, approach the east gate with the red lock symbol and it unlocks. Go through the gate. Head towards the X Seeing Eye, fighting lots of ghosts. Get the Seeing Eye of Lorren from a chest. Return to Laginu. He gives you the Seeing Eye of Gromsh quest. Tell him "I think this is it right here". He gives you another quest for the Tower of Dalnir, tell him "Sounds like a lovely tour". Teleport back to the Gate of Pathfinders and continue down a new path to the south. Your new target is to the far south where you've probably been much earlier in the game. Fight your way through tons of Dryads. At the X Near the destination, there's a lot of Dryad warriors to contend with before you can continue on to your destination. At the X The Forest of Dryads ( 30_d4 1983 2010 1 ), in the Tar-Dalma ruins, DON'T talk to anyone yet. Head due southeast to the X Elven Ruins. Dryad Slaves and Tree Spirits along the way. In the tower are lots of ghosts. Go straight to the X Seeing Stone. In a large chest get the Seeing Stone of Dalnir. Outside, teleport back to the boardwalks at the far northwest. Give the final Seeing Stone to Laginu. Now go back to the far southeast to the X Forest of Dryads. Talk to Shagir. Before game version 2.07.3 you might have to tell Shagir two times to send you to the Outworld. After you're teleported, destroy a big creature, then destroy 3 Twister creatures and rob them. Make your way to the X The Lost Settlement. Help destroy a twister and maybe a creature just uphill. Follow the mage and talk. Go through the gate and go to the X Looking for the Archmage. Teramon automatically talks to you. Go back to the gate and exit. Go around left and head east. You stand on a Troll head, as shown on the map. It needs the other three parts. Tell it "Alright, let's look....". On the map are three X's. To the west is his bottom ( 34_b2 909 2156 3 ). Next at the southeast is his legs on a ledge ( 2619 731 262 ), approach from the west side and be careful. It's possible to fall into the world. Finally, to the east ( 34_c2 520 561 78 ) is his torso. Back to Ragnar's head ( 34_b2 3099 2146 -49 ). You must keep the parts in inventory till you reach the lava pits back home. Now back east to the 3-way intersection at the large round structure. Speak with Teramon, there's a disastrous cut-scene. Go due west to Teacher Larlandor's Tower, he's the guy that has the bow Wind Maker a quest item! Watch out for Twisters along the way. Go back west and north through the previous village. Head north on the path and clockwise to the Tower. ( 34_b2 3428 3017 66 ) As you step through the door, a chest on the left has the bow Wind Maker a quest item wp_bow_36- dlc3_windmaker . On other side is another chest. There are lots of potions inside the tower. After talking to the teacher, pick up 3 books and read them. Go back to the small village. The map shows an X "Secrets Among Friends". Go through that big gate. At the next X The Dark Place, talk to Larlandor. He gives you a book, read it. On your map are 3 X's where you need to go. First X is Southern Canyon, tough beasts along the way. Once there ( 34_b2 2812 336 50 ), kill an Alpha Lurker and takes its Evolved Lurker's Stinger. A screen message should tell you it's the correct ingredient. NOTE: There seems to be a problem here. Once in awhile the evolved stinger disappears from inventory. When you go back to the red cave, if the evolved stinger is gone, you'll either have to go back to the proper location and get it again. Or you can cheat: in the console enter ec.addobjecttoinventory dlc3_larlandor_ingredient_two Now for the Deserted Settlement ( 34_c2 378 2873 -71 ). Once there, get a Mantropoids Venom Gland. You should get another screen message. Now go to the far southeast X Midworld Giant's Lair ( 2420 1308 -7 ), kill it and take its vial of blood. If it has no inventory, this is a big mistake in the game (the 2.07.1/2.07.2 didn't correct this problem but 2.07.3 does). Without or with the updates, you'll have to cheat to get the ingredient: open the cheat console and type cotcheats and hit enter. Again open the cheat console, place cursor near your feet, and type create dlc3_larlandor_ingredient_three and hit enter. Pick up the vial of blood. Make sure you have spoken to General Gorana at the round structure just northwest at the 3-way intersection and tell her "You might need help". Now a good way to the east you should see the X The Orc's Camp ( 34_c2 3145 2524 30 ). Go there and kill all the red headed characters and pick up the skulls. After getting all 7 skulls, there's a screen message. Access the woodpile and put the 7 skulls in it. Finally, go to the map pin Waiting A Warriors Return. Talk to General Gorana. Go back west to the X "Back To The Cave". Talk at the red cave. The red barrier is soon dispelled. As you work your way through the lava, you eventually find super jump potions mario_potion . Where it's needed, hold forward, right mouse button for extra speed, and jump at the same time. It lasts 10 seconds. Eventually to the far east, you'll find a giant hand. Use a jump potion to get up along the arm. If you run out of jump potions, the cheat code is mario_potion jump 2500% for 10 seconds. Or better luigi_potion_1 3000% jump height 1min. Up in the giant hand, defeat the monster and get the essence. Pick up the potions. Find your way out to the next X. On a small patch of ground, you must get across to a teleport and you barely make it. Give Laramor the new Orb. Leave the tower, go left and follow path through a gate. Head due south and through another gate. Go around left and east to the intersection at the big round structure. Speak to Teramon, then speak to Larlandor. The portal is activated and you teleport into an ambush. Destroy everyone. Rogdor and Ghortarius arrive. Now go NW to the X Lava Rift and maybe see Ragnar already walking around. Go to the lava and you throw the body parts into the lava. Chase down Ragnar and talk to him. Now go to Bernard at the twin huts and give him the bow Winbreaker. Teleport to the Royal Gardens and head northeast in the palace to expose the enemy. Defeat many glowing creatures. The Queen flees upstairs in the palace. Go up till you find and destroy her. Go downstairs and talk to a few people. If you want, you can continue the game and complete any side quests.
