Hunt for the Red Baron (Final gold 1.00) Walkthrough v1.8 ================================================= By SuperSheep (supersheepies@netscapeonline.co.uk) 26 May, 2001 Copyright law protects this document Introduction "The First World War was the first war which Featured airborne combat, soon after the birth Of flight itself. Planes were first sent out on scouting missions But once scouting craft from opposite sides Met each other in the skies the navigators started Taking pot-shots at each other by throwing bricks And firing pistols. Shortly afterwards guns became mounted on Planes, and the first true fighter planes were born. You are a fighter pilot flying in these early planes For the allied forces against the enemy side. We Are searching for the most deadly of enemy pilots, The Red Baron. Good luck." Only Mission 14 and mission 25 are missing from the walkthrough now, and about the only other thing that needs doing is briefings for most of the missions. Unfortunately, this walkthrough may never get finished as I stopped playing Hunt for the Red Baron a long time ago. Any help with the briefings would be much appreciated. Anyone sending the text of a mission briefing will be credited in a new section, and would have the text put in front of the mission walkthrough. See you in the next update! (hopefully there will be one!!!) 2.Version history ================== 1.0 First release of this walkthrough, contained missions 1-6 1.1 Fixed e-mail address errors, added missions 7-10, added 'landing' to flying tips 1.3 Added missions 11-12, added info on tanks 1.5 Added demo mission, updated info on dogfighting plane, fixed more wording errors 1.6 Added 'side-on rocket launching' to flying tips 1.65 Fixed some more errors, updated info on the Red baron and avoiding enemy ground fire 1.7 Added new sections, fixed error in mission 9, added missions 21- 24 1.75 Added missions 18-20 1.77 Added missions 13+16-17, updated bugs section, more general tidying up 1.8 Added new site URL & E-mail address, removed "Notes on Hunt for the Red Baron", yet more tidying up, added bug to bugs section, added "Changes from Beta 1.00 version" section Note: Only versions 1.0, 1.6 and 1.8 have been released to the public 3.Notes about this walkthrough =============================== This walkthrough is under construction. As you can see, I have only covered 23 0f the 25 missions currently. I have played the game through to the end so this walkthrough should hopefully be finished soon. There may be few errors dotted around which will be fixed in later releases of this walkthrough. I also run a site which is this guide's homepage. It is at - http://members.netscapeonline.co.uk/supersheepies/gamehub . Visits to this site would be much appreciated. If anyone has anything they think I should add to this walkthrough, or any comments etc, e-mail me at supersheepies@netscapeonline.co.uk 4.Changes from Beta 1.00 version ========================= Suprisingly few changes were made to Hunt for the Red Baron when it went gold. However, there were a few tweaks, and the ones I have noticed are listed here. -Mission 15 has been made easier (Thank god!) -Airco DH2 is faster (I think so anyway) -Machine gun jams on or off occasionally for some reason. (A bug accidentally put in with the changes?) 5.Bugs ======= This is a list of bugs I have found in Hunt for the Red baron. Machine Gun Jamming - Occasionally the machine gun on a plane jams on or off. Bug or realism? 6.Essential flying tips ======================== Here are some tips you'll find handy in Hunt for the Red baron. 6.1.Bombing ============ Bombing is easy. When bombing a target, you have to take account of inertia, meaning that a bomb will travel forward somewhat once you release it. The distance it will travel depends on how fast you are going. 6.2.Head on rocket launching ============================= This is an essential skill in dogfighting. When an enemy plane is coming at you head on from a distance you can fire a rocket at them to take them down without getting hurt much. It's a bit difficult, but it comes in very handy when you master it. When you're doing it, aim slightly lower than the enemy plane is as rockets travel upwards a small amount. Don't try this on rocket launching planes when they're close, as they often do it to you. 6.3.Aircraft bombing ===================== A handy way of getting rid of enemy fighters. Like bombing, while doing this you have to take account of inertia, but you also have to take account of the enemy's speed as well. Good for destroying an enemy plane that's coming up beneath you or coming at you head on 6.4.Spiral stalemate ======================= Spiral stalemate is basically that time when you are flying round in circles trying to get the enemy plane that is doing the same opposite you. One way to break this stalemate is to fly up a little so you can the bear down on your opponent, or fly down and then fly up towards the plane. Another way is to change direction and face him head on. These tactics are slightly risky, as sometimes you are a sitting duck for enemy rockets while pulling either of these tricks off. 6.5.Destroying ground targets with rockets =========================================== There are two ways to do this. One is to fly at normal altitude and then bear down on the target, or a safer and stealthier approach is to fly very low so the ground enemy can't hit you and fire off rockets from there. This stealthy approach is very handy for avoiding ground enemy fire as well. 6.6.Avoiding ground enemy fire =============================== Avoiding AA-gun fire is difficult. You should try not to get near them if possible, but flying high is a good way to avoid their fire. To avoid tank fire fly very low and slightly far away so they can't hit you. 6.7.Landing ============ Landing is essential for a successful end to some missions. To land, find a patch of clear and mostly flat land. Now, head towards it at the slowest speed you can go at while staying smoothly in flight and fly down towards it at a gentle angle. When you're close to the ground, reduce the angle even more. Once your plane has made contact with the ground, count one second and if the plane stays on the ground stab the slow down key to come to a stop. This is very difficult and dangerous as one false move and you crash into the ground. 6.8.Side-on rocket launching ============================= This is essential when fighting the Red Baron. Basically, side on rocket launching is when you are flying towards an enemy plane at and angle of around 45 degrees, and you fire a rocket at the position you think the plane will be. This is difficult, and takes practice, as it isn't easy to judge. Once you master it though, it is deadly to the enemy. 7.Weapons ========== What you use to bash the enemy. 7.1.Machine guns ================= The default weapon. A never run out, and varies in power between aircraft. It's main use is for taking down other aircraft, but can be put to other uses such as destroying buildings if you run out of rockets or bombs. 7.2.Bombs ========== Often used in ground target missions, the easiest but least safe to use against ground enemies, as your plane is vulnerable to attacks while bombing. They also come in handy against enemy aircraft. (See essential flying tips). 7.3.Rockets ============ Almost always present in dogfighting missions, these are deadly. One will fell an enemy plane and one or two will take down a ground enemy. It's the safest weapon to use against ground enemies, as you don't have to be close to the target to use them on it. Rockets are a bit weaker than bombs. 8.Aircraft =========== As you know, aircraft are the main basis for the game, so knowing each plane's strengths and weaknesses will give you a useful advantage. 8.1.Player aircraft ==================== These are the planes you will be flying in Hunt for the Red baron. 8.1.1. Airco DH2 ================= The worst plane available, slow, weak and has rubbish machine guns. On the upside, it's quite manoeuvrable, but it's often used to make a mission harder because it's not a very good dogfighter. 8.1.2. Bristol scout ===================== A good plane. Manoeuvrable, pretty strong, fast and the machine guns are reasonable as well. As it's balanced in terms of features, and a good plane, this is the mainly used plane apart from the better Spad XIII. 8.1.3 Spad XIII ================ The second best plane in the fleet. The strongest, the fastest, and has the most powerful machine guns. On the downside, it's the least manuverable plane, but its strengths easily outweigh its disadvantages. The best plane apart from the Sopwith camel. 8.1.4. Sopwith camel ===================== The best plane. Highly manoeuvrable, and almost as fast and strong as the Spad XIII. The machine guns are excellent as well. Unrivalled in air combat, but a little touchy and slightly difficult to get used to. Every other plane will feel sluggish compared to this. Annoyingly, you only get to fly it in the last 3 missions. 8.2.Enemy aircraft =================== These are the German planes you'll be shooting down. The names of most of them are unknown so I've given each one a nickname. 8.2.1.Wooden plane =================== The Airco DH2 of the German planes. Easy to take down, and not very fast or powerful. It sometimes carries rockets. It looks like it's made of wood so I've nicknamed it the wooden plane. 8.2.2. Rocket launching plane ============================== One of the deadliest German planes as it always carries rockets, and has powerful machine guns. Not very manoeuvrable, so it's easy to take down in a spiral dogfight. If it's coming towards you, DUCK!!! Its favourite trick is put a rocket into you when it's coming at you head on. Due to its rocket firing nature, I've nicknamed it the rocket-launching plane. 8.2.3. Dogfighting plane ========================= The best German dogfighter apart from the red baron. Green and nasty. It's very manoeuvrable, has powerful machine guns and is reasonably fast as well. It also sometimes carries rockets. One of the toughest of opponents. 8.2.4. The Red Baron ===================== The nastiest of opponents. Fast, highly manoeuvrable, strong and powerful. Carries rockets in the showdown and extremely difficult to beat. It takes a few rockets to destroy him, so you'll have to use your wits when fighting him. Often appears secretly in missions but you're always either too busy or don't have enough time to take him on. You can't miss him; his plane is bright red. 9.Ground enemies ================= Ground enemies are potentially deadly, so they should not be ignored. 9.1.Anti-aircraft guns (AA guns) ================================= The default ground enemy, deadly in groups and can do varied amounts of damage. Any mission with a lot of these is bound to be hard. Easy to dodge when there's not too many of them. Rockets and bombs work equally well on these things. 9.2.Tanks ========== Rare in this game, tanks can be deadly but they're fire is easy to dodge or avoid. They are often a special unit in missions. They will fall to two rockets or a direct hit with a bomb. 10.Walkthroughs ================ These walkthroughs aim to give you an advantage in Hunt for the Red baron by eliminating the trial-and-error process you would normally have to do to go about the mission in the right way. I will also tell you if the Red baron makes a secret appearance in that mission. Even with this walkthrough, Hunt for the Red Baron is still quite a challenge, so it doesn't spoil your enjoyment of the game either!!! 10.1.France ============ The first and easiest country. Mission 1 ========== Briefing: Welcome to France, Corporal player. We must eliminate the enemies mastermind – Friedrich. He is making plans for our demise. Our HQ has marked his position on the map with a red dot. Allied fighters will show up as blue circles and enemy fighters as black and white crosses. There should be enough of our men in the air to handle all the enemy fighters. Objective: Locate and Destroy Friedrich's base Player Craft: Airco DH2 You must become accustomed to the Airco DH2's handling. Use mouse left and mouse right to roll, mouse down and mouse up to pitch, and mouse button 1 to fire your machineguns. You can drop bombs by using mouse button 2. But beware! – you've only got four of them. Good luck Player! Walkthrough: A nice easy one to start with. Firstly, shoot down the plane that crosses your screen and head towards the base. (Marked red on your radar). There's a few enemies flying around near it but you won't have much trouble with them as long as you bomb the base quickly. Mission 2 ========== Briefing: Good work, Corporal Player. Unfortunately Friedrich was not in the building as we expected. Our priority is still to kill him, but we must hurry as the enemy are now aware of our intentions, and are on their way over in large numbers to intercept us. Destroy the key hangars in the region to insure Friedrich's demise. You have 3 minutes to carry out your task. Beware anti-aircraft guns that have been installed on the ground. Objective: Bomb the key hanger buildings Player aircraft: Airco DH2 You can adjust your plane's throttle by using 'rightshift' key and 'rightctrl' key. Lowering your throttle will make bombing easier, but beware lowering your speed too much – your plane may stall. Got to it, Player. Walkthrough: Another easy one. The first hanger comes up right in front of you, so don't change direction and bomb it to bits. Continue in that direction to find the second and third. There's an anti aircraft gun near the two, but it will probably ignore you. Once you've reached and bombed them, turn 90 degrees to the left and continue to find the last three. Enemy aircraft may attack you now so stay alert. When the last hanger goes kaboom it's mission complete. Congratulations! You have a new rank. Your rank is Sergeant Mission 3 ========== Briefing: Nicely done, Sergeant Player. Our HQ informs us that Friedrich has perished – you have successfully removed our greatest threat at this time, but there is trouble ahead. Now Friedrich is dead, the enemy is taking action to try to stifle us - more AA-guns have been installed. Remove the bulk of these guns near the bridge. We plan to destroy the bridge soon, but at the moment it is too heavily defended. The key AA-guns are marked with red dots on the map. Objective: Destroy the key Anti-aircraft guns Player craft: Airco DH2 You have 20 rockets – Mouse button 2 releases them. Use 'rightshift' key to increase your throttle until you have enough speed to take off. Best of luck, Player. Walkthrough: You start on an airstrip, so take off and shoot the dogfighting plane that flew over you. Nearby there is another dogfighting plane on an airstrip and an airborne wooden plane. Shoot them and head towards the guns. You should be able to take out the nearest three easily, so do so and then go for the one across the bridge. This may be slightly difficult as you're being fired at, but it won't present too much of a problem. Congratulations! You have a new rank. Your rank is Sergeant Major Mission 4 ========== Briefing: Objectives: Destroy all the enemy planes Player craft: Airco DH2 To you right there is a plane on a runway. Destroy it and turn west to see another dogfighting plane. Use rockets on it if possible. If you miss, you'll have to dogfight with it. Continue west to find another plane on a runway and another dogfighting plane to destroy. Then fly to the east to find the last enemy plane. If the mission doesn't end then, search around for any remaining enemy planes. Mission 5 ========== Objectives: Destroy the bridge in 60 seconds Player craft: Bristol Scout The Red baron is present You are flying the Bristol scout now, which is good, as you have to be quick in this mission. Shoot the plane crossing your screen and head towards the bridge. There are lots of AA guns on the way, so dodging is necessary. Once you get to the bridge fly straight over it dropping bombs. Then turn around, avoiding the incoming enemy plane and drop one more bomb on it to destroy it if you didn't the first time. The bridge will fall to 4 direct hits with bombs. Mission 6 ========== Objectives: Protect Dexter and shoot down all the enemy fighters Player craft: Bristol Scout Take off from the runway, ignoring the plane that flies over you, and shoot the wooden plane pursuing Dexter. Now the plane that flew over you will be following Dexter, so shoot it and the wooden plane that is nearby. There will be one more plane coming for your pal, so shoot it down and it's mission complete. Mission 7 ========== Objectives: Destroy all the marked AA-guns in 4 minutes Player craft: Bristol Scout The first AA-gun is ahead of you. Destroy it, avoiding damage and continue following the river. The next one is on the right hand bank. Destroy it and take down the plane coming towards you. If you don't it will haunt you later. Continue down the river to find the next one. Take it out and engage the two planes coming towards you. Beware!!! They carry rockets. The next one is across the river. Use the trees as cover to avoid taking damage. The next one is to the south. It won't shoot at you because it's already out of order. Another is to the Southeast. Use the trees as cover again. Now there's only two left. The best tactic to get rid of these is to fly high up and then fly straight down towards one of them, dropping a bomb and then flying off, dodging their fire. It's difficult, but keep trying and you will eventually succeed. Mission 8 ========== Objectives: Destroy all the tanks, enemy fighters and insure your wingmen survive Player craft: Bristol Scout An easy mission compared to the last one. Shoot the plane coming towards you and destroy the first tank, then follow your pals. Two groups of enemy planes will descend on you, including rocket planes. You must insure your wingmen survive. Be careful!!! Once all the enemy planes are down, head towards the bridge. There are two tanks there. Fire off a couple of rockets at each one from a distance, avoiding their fire to destroy them. Fly over the bridge and follow the road to find the last two tanks. Mission 9 ========== Objectives: Destroy the key factory Player craft: Spad XIII Take off from the runway and engage the enemy fighters that come here. Once there's no more coming towards you, follow the road that leads to the factory. There are four AA-guns on the road running beside the factory. These are the first ones you will take out. Fly above them, dropping bombs on them. Around this time, you may have to engage more enemy fighters. Once those four AA-guns and the fighters are destroyed, skirt round the factory using the mountains as a guide until you get to a mountain road. From there you can swoop down on the other AA-guns near the factory. When the AA-guns are down, go for the factory. It will fall to five or six bombs. Mission 10 =========== Objectives: Destroy each key enemy fighter before take-off, and shoot down all the others. Player craft: Spad XIII On your right is a mountain. Fly close to it to avoid the nearby AA- guns. Continue south to find the first plane. The next two planes are to the east. Once they're down, an airborne enemy fighter will fly over. Destroy it. Fly towards the last plane. It's heavily guarded, so hug the mountain on right side of it, then swoop down on it from the least guarded point and quickly drop a bomb on it. Then dodge the AA-gun fire and retreat to the mountains. Try and get out of that area quickly to make fighting the last two airborne enemies easier. When they're down, the mission ends. Congratulations!!! You've completed France!! 10.2.Africa ============ Mission 11 =========== Objectives: Take down all the enemy fighters Player craft: Spad XIII The three planes are directly in front of you. Shoot down the nearest two, the about turn and shoot down the rocket plane that's chasing your wingman. Continue the way it was heading and shoot down the other rocket plane that's near the bridge. All you have to do now is fly about shooting down the rest of the enemy planes. Beware though, there are a lot of rocket planes flying around. I highly recommend you play this mission over a few times to gain experience dogfighting with the Spad XIII, as you'll be doing a lot of that in later missions. Mission 12 =========== Objectives: Destroy the guarded oil wells Player craft: Bristol Scout The Red baron is present Take off and shoot the plane coming towards you. Then follow the road to find one of your wingmen. Fly over him to get him started. The Red baron will cheekily fly by. Ignore him and fly over to your other wingman. With him alerted, shoot down the nearby rocket plane and follow him to the oil wells. They are heavily guarded, so fly round them at a safe distance. Out to sea three enemy planes will appear. Fly over and engage them in combat. Your job now is to protect your wingmen from enemy planes. The plane-bombing trick comes in handy here. Eventually, there will be no enemy planes around. One of your wingmen has probably been shot down by the AA-guns by now. Soon the other one will fly off, leaving you with one AA-gun to destroy. Destroy it, using the seashore to hide from its fire. Then go for the oil wells. Each one will fall to two bombs. Mission 13 =========== Objectives: Defend yourself against the onslaught, and insure you and your wingmen survive Player craft: Airco DH2 First, you will have to deal with 3 wooden planes. Destroy them, keeping out of your wingman's machine gun fire. Then another 3 will appear from the direction of the boats. Destroy them as well. After that, a few will come from the Southwest. Destroy them, using rockets to pick them off from a distance if possible. The last group of enemy planes will come from the same direction. They are large in number, about 15 in total. Luckily, you will only have to take out a few at a time. Remember to pick them off with your rockets from a distance, and to avoid getting in front of your wingmen. It is difficult, but keep trying and you will soon be victorious. Mission 14 =========== Objectives: Player craft: Spad XIII Mission 15 =========== Objectives: Player craft: Bristol Scout Immediately start your plane and take off. A wooden plane will try and drop a bomb on you. Destroy it so it doesn't get the chance and destroy the other plane nearby. Now, fly towards the north-east. While you're flying in that direction, make sure you are at a fairly high altitude. This will help later. When the ships are nearly in view, a plane will come towards you. Pick it off with a rocket from a distance if possible, as time is critical. When you have the boats in view, head towards them, and fire off a couple of rockets to get your aim right. The ship itself isn't the target, but the guns on the ship. There are three on each of the two boats, 2 together and 1 on the other end. You want to go for the two clusters of two turrets first. As soon as you can, fire off volleys of rockets at them. Each turret needs two rockets to fell it. When they're down, go for the singular turrets. These are generally easier to destroy than the clusters. By now, the allied planes will be flying over you. With the destruction of the last turret, destroy any remaining enemy planes to complete the mission. (Bet that mission was tough!) Mission 16 =========== Objectives: Destroy the planes about to take off and attack innocent civilians, then clear he skies of enemy fighters Player craft: Bristol Scout You have to be quick on this mission. Shoot down the two enemy planes coming towards you and the one that will come while you are doing this. Then quickly head west to the first land-locked plane. Bomb it before it can take off, avoiding the tank, then continue west. The next one will be flying towards you in that direction. Destroy it and continue that way to find the next land-locked plane. Bomb it, then fly over the mountain ridge to the Northeast in the general direction of the remaining enemy planes. When you see the next one, fly down low towards it to avoid nearby tanks, and bomb it being careful not to get damaged by your own bomb. After you have found and destroyed the next one, another two enemy planes will attack you. Destroy them, being careful not to get to close to the next enemy plane on the road. When they're down, destroy the plane on the road on your side of the bridge. The last plane is across the bridge. Go and destroy it, avoiding the fire of the two nearby tanks to complete the mission. Mission 17 =========== Objectives: Destroy the bridge that links the riverbanks in 5 minutes Player craft: Bristol Scout You have 5 minutes to take out the bridge. This is plenty of time. Take off and follow the road keeping low. Drop a bomb on the enemy plane that is taking off when you reach it. Before too long, you will be hassled by a few rocket planes. Try and dogfight with them away from the tanks to avoid damage. When three planes are destroyed, continue following the road. When you see the mass of AA-guns and tanks on your radar, go to the left towards the mountain ridge. By now you should be able to see the hole in the bridge's defence. Fly low through that area, and fly up a little once you reach the bridge and start dropping bombs. You should be able to drop about four or five bombs before you reach the end of the bridge. Once you do, drop down into the river valley, then turn round and drop another bomb or two on the bridge to destroy it and win the mission. Mission 18 =========== Objectives: Destroy the AA-guns surrounding the POW camp Player craft: Spad XIII A tough mission. Firstly, shoot down the three planes that come towards you. Then fly away from the camp area, along the road near where you started. After a crossroad, you will find your pal. Fly over him to get him started and head back towards the camp. The first AA-gun to destroy is along the road. Take it out, and then pick the other ones off one by one, except for the two right inside the camp boundaries. Be on the lookout for enemy fighters while you are doing this. Once all the enemy fighters are down, go for the AA-guns inside the boundary. You have to be accurate, as destroying any of the other camp buildings accidentally will fail the mission. Try flying down towards them at an angle, so you can effectively aim the bombs with your plane's nose. Destroy the two remaining AA-guns with this method to complete the mission. Mission 19 =========== Objectives: Destroy the remaining oil wells (7 in total) Player craft: Bristol Scout The Red baron is present An easy mission. Follow the road to get to the first two oil wells. They are guarded by an AA-gun. While you are doing this, an enemy plane will come and engage you in combat. Destroy it and continue following the road to find oil well number 3. Again, it is guarded by an AA-gun. Follow the road to the right of that AA-gun, then right again when you come to a crossroads to find number 4. Continue in that direction and turn left when you come to another crossroad. Continue following this new road, but fly over the mountains while doing so. When you reach another crossroad, the next oil well is close. Continue in that direction until you find it. This time it is guarded by two AA-guns, and they have powerful fire. To avoid them, simply keep to the mountains behind them, flying towards the oil well a bit, and fire rockets at it. You won't get shot at, as the AA-guns cannot fire towards the mountain ridge. Go back to the crossroad where you turned left. The two remaining wells are to the Northwest and the east. Destroy them to win the mission. Mission 20 =========== Objectives: Clear the skies of enemy fighters Player craft: Bristol Scout The Red baron is present There are 2 ways to do this mission. One is to take off and dogfight with the planes as normal. (The difficult but more fun option) The other way is incredibly easy. Simply stay on the ground, and keep your machine guns constantly firing. The enemy planes will swarm round you, and one by one they will be destroyed as they stupidly fly through your hail of machine gun fire. Eventually, there will be a few rocket planes buzzing round you and some severely damaged planes hiding near the edges of the map. Take off and destroy them to win the mission. 10.3.Belgium ============= Mission 21 =========== Objectives: Take down all the enemy fighters Player craft: Spad XIII A difficult mission. Turn to the right, but don't engage the plane coming towards you, as your wingman will shoot at it and you will get damaged if you get in the way. Another large group of rocket planes and wooden planes will come from the direction the other one came from. Fly towards them, but much higher than they are. when they pass, about turn and shoot them down. Then follow your wingman and engage the large group of enemy planes that are coming from the opposite direction. As usual, there are plenty of rocket planes. Destroy them all to end the mission. Mission 22 =========== Objectives: Render the viaduct useless Player craft: Spad XIII A suprisingly easy mission this. About turn and shoot down the rocket plane then shoot down the other one heading towards you. Now head towards the viaduct. Line up with it and fly above it dropping bombs at intervals about 1 second apart. Once you reach one end of the map, enemy fighters will attack you. Destroy them and head towards where you started destroying the viaduct, taking out any bits you missed on your first run. Once you reach there, start bombing the other end of the viaduct. When you run out of bombs, attack the viaduct with your machine guns. Be on the lookout, as enemy fighters will come to attack you occasionally. When enough of the viaduct is destroyed, you've completed the mission. Mission 23 =========== Objectives: Protect Jefferson from harm and destroy the enemy fighters Player craft: Sopwith camel A difficult mission this. Two planes are already following Jefferson, so shoot them down and follow him. You will have to shoot down about another three enemy planes before he reaches the edge of the map and disappears. Once he's flown off the edge of the map, destroy the remaining enemy fighters to complete the mission. Mission 24 =========== Objectives: Take down all the enemy fighters Player craft: Sopwith camel Just use the sneaky tactic from mission 20 and this is easy. Mission 25 =========== Objectives: Destroy the Red baron Player craft: Sopwith camel The Red baron is present 10.4.Demo mission ================== Player craft: Airco DH2 Objectives: Destroy all the factories and enemy aircraft At the start, shoot down the plane that is chasing your wingman and bomb the three factories in that area. Continue east to find an enemy plane on a runway. Bomb it before it takes off and destroy the AA- guns on the riverbanks. You are now free to destroy the two factories in that area. Follow the river to find the last factory you should have to destroy. Beware, it is guarded by more AA-guns. If the mission doesn't end then, just search around for any remaining enemy hardware. 11.Cheats ========== To access these cheats you first have to complete the game. Then go to the 'goodies' menu and 'cheat options' will have appeared. From this menu you can activate the following cheats: Invulnerability* (* you still die if you crash into the ground) Infinite rockets/bombs Turbo boost with space bar Game speed Enemy endurance
