The following is a comprehensive, step by step walkthrough for So, uh... a
Spaceship Crashed in My Yard.  It contains spoilers and solutions, so do not
read this if you would like to figure out the game for yourself.  This guide
also explains how to earn every Steam Achievement.

Here are the default controls:

Arrow keys: Move around
Hold Shift: Run
Enter: Interact
A: Use an item on an object or location
Escape: Access the menu

Here is a step by step guide to complete the game:

1. Pick up the access key to the left of the dog.
2. (Optional) Go to the north of the house and interact with the question
mark.
3. Use the access key on the panel to the left of the door.  Follow the road.
4. Enter the aquarium.  This is the building in the top left.
5. Pick up the hula hoop in the top left corner.
6. Pick up the jellyfish swimming around in the water, then leave the building.
7. (Optional) Return to the house and use the jellyfish on the spaceship,
then return to the town.
8. Enter the scientist's lab on the lower right.
9. Follow a path on the right side of the screen and pick up a gas can and
shrink ray.  Exit the building.
10. Use the shrink ray on the statue in the center of town.
11. Enter the gas station, the building on the top right.
12. Use the empty gas can on the gas pump.
13. Enter the code 630 at the console near the top right to unlock a room
and pick up a compass.
14. (Optional) Use the compass on every dog in the gas station, and return to
the house and use the compass on the dog by the garden.
15. Return to the scientist's lab.
16. Add the full gas can and the jellyfish  to the machine.  Activate it to get
space fuel.
17. Add the statue and  the hula hoop to the machine.  Activate it to get the
hood ornament.
18. Return to the spaceship.  Place the space fuel, compass, and hood ornament
in the spaceship.
19. After advancing the dialogue, talk to the dog.

Steam Achievements:

Find the Secret: Complete optional step 2 above.

Jellyfish: Complete optional step 7 above.

You Win!: Unlocks after completing the game, after step 19 above.

Dog Whispering: Complete optional step 14 above.  If it doesn't unlock, you've
missed a dog by accident.  The dogs won't follow you off of a screen.

Speed Run: Complete the game in less than 5 minutes.  Don't attempt this on
your first playthrough.  You'll want to skip all optional steps, run all the
time when moving, and advance the dialogue as fast as possible.  Don't open the
menu or save your game.
