Hello, and welcome to my Monster Data / Monster Jewel FAQ.
My name is Sakura, and I have created this FAQ for you to enhance your gaming
experience. Please enjoy it to your heart's content. Any questions, comments,

The concept of Monster Data is fairly simple. After you have defeated an
enemy in the game, it's "data" is stored in your collection menu, and will
give you various information about that enemy. There are a few sections of
the Monster Data section; Here is a list of what they are and what they
pertain to:
-The data itself; All information about an enemy, except Item Drops, is
added after defeating merely one of that type of enemy.
-Item Drops; The Items that each enemy drops will only appears as a
"Dropped Item" in it's correct section after you have
obtained that drop from that enemy. The rarer of the
items will appear higher on the list, while the common
item drops will appear lower on the list. Some items
have an incredibly low chance of dropping and can only
be feasibly obtained by raising a certain character's
'-ology' skill. These skills allow for drops to become
more frequent. Each character has their own, and for
their skill to be in effect, they must be in the party;
So long as the character is in your party, the skill
will remain active, you do not need to control that
character.
-The Percentage Bar; This bar will slowly fill up as you kill more of this
type of enemy. Enemies either contribute 1%, 3%, 15%,
or 30% towards the percentage as you kill them. It
takes anywhere from 7 to 100 kills to max out the bar to
100%. When you fill the bar to 100%, you are able to
create a Monster Jewel out of that monster's data by
going into your Monster Data section and choosing to do
so. Monster Jewels are simply Neck Accessories that add
or subtract to/from your current stats and factors.
Some are worth farming for, most are not. This FAQ will
list them all.
Achievement Note:
There is an achievement called "Monster Master" for 30 Gamerpoints that tells
you to collect 100% Monster Data. This is misleading; You do not need 100% of
the data for every monster, you only need to get each monster into your data
collection (kill 1 of every monster in the game). Do this, and you will get
your achievement.
Enemy Factor Note:
Sometimes an enemy comes equipped with a Factor that has an Enemy stat bonus.
Factors with "Enemy STAT plus/minus percentage" mean that while that particular
enemy is on the field, all enemies gain that bonus. For example sake, lets
look at the Moonlight Lady. She has two of these Factors; "Enemy ATK/INT +50%"
and "Enemy DEF +300%". This means that while a Moonlight Lady is active in
battle, all enemies in battle gain a 50% boots to ATK and INT, and a 300%
boost to DEF. If you have 2 Moonlight Ladys on the field, these stats stack,
so eliminating enemies with these 'bonus' Factors first is suggested.

colonies headed by a single queen and consumes other insects and animals for
sustenance. This particular type is seen to take a worker-ant position in
insect society, gathering food for the rest of the colony. Without the large
mandibles an ant possesses, however, exactly how it brings food back to the
nest is a mystery.

splitting out a sticky, highly acidic substance believed to be stomach fluid.
Its job is to escort the worker Adephages as they transport food; if it finds

living creature in its wake.

daylight hours inside saves and other dark places before flying off in search

shell and use it as an arm of sorts. An organ known as the "core" lies under
