The following is a guide for earning all achievements for Stayin' Alive. This guide is for game version 1.6.3. Version 1.6.3 is the game's final version and barring anything unusual, this will likely be the last update for this guide. Achievements can be earned by playing entirely using any number of human and computer opponents unless otherwise specified, and it is possible to earn most, if not all, entirely with computer opponents. Some achievements require specific numbers of opponents, time settings, or a specific game map. Use your text editor's or browser's search function to look for a certain achievement. Similar achievements are grouped together for the sake of convenience and organization. If you would like to start a match using only computer opponents and don't want another player to enter the game, create the match and add a password using a string of random text. Some of these achievements are a bit trivial and you might obtain them through normal gameplay without much effort, but they are included here for completeness. As a quick reference, here are the crafting recipes: Shears Part A + Shears Part B = Shears (cuts oxygen tank) Red Chemical + Blue Chemical = Poison (causes continuous vomiting) Fork + Iron Wire + Water Bottle = Electroshock (causes electricity to shoot everywhere) Horny Boy + Super Boner + Hump Plus = Stimulant Cocktail (causes overstimulation and steam to shoot out of Suicider) Toothbrush + Razor = Scalpel (causes continuous bleeding) Fuel Tank + Lighter = Autocombustion kit (causes burning) Using any of the above takes roughly five seconds. Falling from 100 to 0 health will take roughly thirty seconds. You can only hold two objects at a time. To craft an object that has three inputs, craft any two together, then the third. For example, craft a Fork and Iron Wire and you'll get an Incomplete Electroshock. Then craft that with the Water Bottle. As a Savior, you can find six cures. Use them in the follwoing way: Duct Tape fixes the tube to the oxygen tank. Gastric Lavage cures vomiting. Rubber Glove cures electrocution. Dullmaker (a blue pill bottle) cures overstimulation. First Aid Kit cures bleeding. Fire Extinguisher cures burning. Elixirs fully heal a Suicider to 100 health, but do not cure the above afflictions. These cures all work instantly, but you might have trouble using them on a moving target if there are things or others in the way. You can access all of the above information by pressing the "R" key in a match. Now for the achievements. True Savior: Win a match using a Savior. Remember that winning matches as Saviors requrie you to sedate a Suicider and bring them to an isolation room. The AI is competent enough to help you win even if you are still learning the game. AI Saviors tend to do better on the Catacombs map. You aren't required to be the best performing Savior on your team. Any game settings are acceptable. True Suicider: Win a match using a Suicider. AI Suiciders do well on the Hospital map due to its complexity. You aren't required to be the best performing Suicider on your team. Any game settings are acceptable. Healing Touch: Cure your first Suicider. Head Nurse: Cure Suiciders 100 times. You'll get these through normal gameplay, if you play enough. Head Nurse is a cumulative total over all games. Please Stay Calm: Sedate your first Suicider. Grab a Sedative, or the more rare Blow Gun, and use it on a Suicider. Sedatives tend to be found clustered in certain areas. Hell-o: Isolate your first Suicider. Sedate a Suicider and then wheel them to an isolation room. (Get behind the sedated Suicider and press Space to control them). The StayingWell retirement home has four, near where the Saviors start. The Hospital has eight, with three downstairs and five upstairs. The Catacombs has five, with one in each corner of the map and one in the center. You might have trouble maneuevering through tight areas and opening and closing doors. Mass Therapy: Sedate all of the Suiciders in a 4 vs 4 match. Mass Containment: Isolate all of the Suiciders in a 4 vs 4 match. You'll have to sedate each Suicider at least once. This is easier to do in a 20 minute match. Once they are sedated, drag them to any isolation room. You should easily get both at the same time. Perseverance: Die 5 times in a 5 minute match. This one is a little tricky since falling from 100 health to 0 takes about half a minute all on its own. Poison, shears, scalpels, and the autocombustion kit work best for this since they have only two components you need to find. I'd recommend doing this on a 4 vs 4 map so the AI Saviors will have other Suiciders to go after other than you. Don't do this on the Catacombs map since AI Saviors are more effective on it because of the simple map layout. Just in Time: Cure a Suicider with 20 or less health. You can wait near a Suicider who is dying until their health falls below 20. Suiciders that are dying move more slowly. Witness Me: Commit Suicide without ever moving. Immovable Through Death: Die without ever moving. These are two separate achievements with two separate conditions, though it's not clear what the distinction is between the two. Try getting a Shears Part A and B, moving to a safe place, then crafting it and using it without moving. Inventor: Craft 6 different death items. Creativity in Life: Craft 6 different death items in a single match. New Experiences: Die in 6 different ways. Presumably New Experiences means you need to die in 6 different ways during one match. You can do all three of these in 20 minute long match. Engineer: Successfully craft 100 times. This is cumulative over all games played. You'll get it eventually through brute force. It'll probably be one of the last achievements you'll get. Masochism Guru: Die 100 times. This is cumulative over all games played. You'll get it eventually through brute force. It'll probably be one of the last achievements you'll get and you'll get it shortly after Engineer. Solutions to Every Problem: Cure 6 different deaths. Impeccable Preparation: Cure every available death in a single match. Do this in a 20 minute long match. The AI seems to use the Electroshock and Stimulant Cocktail less often than other methods, likely because they are more complex crafting recipes. You aren't required to win the match or sedate anyone. Gotta Go Fast: Move at least 1000 meters in a five minute match. You need to do this in a five minute match, not any five minute time period. Do this as a Savior and get the Speed Boots as soon as you can. Speed Boots make you run faster and use less stamina. They work automatically so long as you hold them. The game doesn't define how far a meter is, but if you keep running you'll get this. You aren't required to win the match or do anything meaningful. Just Woke Up: Move less than 200 meters in a five minute match. Broken Leg: Play a match as a Savior without ever running. You can easily get both achievements by starting a match as a Savior and not moving at all for 5 minutes. You aren't required to with the match or do anything meaningful. Somebody Call an Exorcist: Die in the church room. The church room is in the StayingWell retirement home map, with the stained glass windows. You can bring an item from outside the church and use it in there if you need to. Can't Always Go Well: Die in an operating room. The operating rooms are in the Hospital map on the upper floor. You can bring an item from outside the operating room and use it in there if you need to. It Wasn't Stomach Ache: Die in a bathroom. There are a couple of bathrooms in the StayingWell retirement home map. You can bring an item from outside the bathroom and use it in there if you need to. The AI often overlooks the bathrooms if you close the door. Behind the Enemy Lines: Die in the Savior control room. The Savior control room is the room where the Saviors start on the StayingWell map, near the isolation rooms. There typically aren't many curative items in there and the AI goes in there infrequently. Chief Surgeon: Cure a Suicider in an operating room. The operating rooms are in the Hospital map on the upper floor. You can bring a curative item from outside the operating room and use it in there if you need to. The AI moves into operating rooms with some regularity since there are a number of crafting items in there. Home Doctor: Cure a Suicider in the Suicider living room. The Suicider living room is where the Suiciders start on the StayingWell map. The AI moves through there with some regularity. Holy Water: Cure a Suicider in the church room. In my experience the AI rarely moves into the church room for any length of time so this one will take some effort. You can try throwing a bunch of crafting items by the podium and hope one of the Suiciders uses it over there. If you can find someone friendly online to play with, ask him to start killing himself in the church room and go in and cure him. Thought He Could Hide: Cure a suicider in the bathroom. In my experience the AI rarely moves into the bathroom at all, and they have doors so it isn't easy to look in there from a distance. If you can find someone friendly online to play with, ask him to start killing himself in the bathroom and go in and cure him. There are a couple of different bathrooms and in my experience the only one the AI ever goes into is the one accessible from outdoors, which has some coffins stored in it. You can try throwing a bunch of crafting items in there and hope the AI Suicider uses them there. Eager to Leave: Die within a minute of the start of the map. You need to move quickly to do this. If you haven't crafted something within fifteen seconds or so, restart. Don't try this on the Catacombs map since AI Saviors are very responsive due to its small size and lack of complexity. Prevention is Better than Cure: Isolate a Suicider within one minute of the start of the match. This is easier than its counterpart, Eager to Leave. Try it on the Catacombs map since it's small. I Know My House: Use all of the isolation rooms of the StayingWell map in a single match. There are four isolation rooms in StayingWell, near where the Saviors start. Set the match to 20 minutes long and you'll have plenty of time. Years of Service: Use all of the isolation rooms of the Hospital map in a single match. There are eight isolation rooms in the Hospital. Play on a 4 vs 4 map or the bottom floor might not be accessible. Three isolation rooms are on the bottom floor and five or on the top floor. The top floor has a confusing layout so this might take some time and effort. Set the match to 20 minutes long. In my experience, Sedatives tend to cluster in one small room and it can be hard to find where they are. Use the Speed Boots to help move around quickly. Tomb Raided: Use all of the isolation rooms of the Catacombs map in a single match. There are five isolation rooms in the Catacombs. One is in the center, and there is one in each corner of the map. Set the match to 20 minutes long and you'll have plenty of time. Half Job Already Done: Die with a death tool crafted by somebody else. You can't pick up an incomplete death tool like the Incomplete Electroshock, and finish it. It needs to be a fully completed item. In all likelihood you need to coordinate with someone online for this achievement since AI Suiciders use their completed items shortly after crafting them. You might get lucky and an AI might end up Sedated before they can use it, but that is rare. Daily Routine: This achievement is hidden. If you look at the main menu, you'll see seven things written on the clipboard: Quick Play, Search Room, Host Room, Select Server, Settings, Credits, and Quit. To unlock this achievement you must click on all of those options during the same session. You'll see a check mark appear on the clipboard after selecting each option. For the Host Room option, you must select the green Confirm button. For the Select Server button, you must hit one of the Connect buttons. For the Settings button, you must hit the Apply button, even if you make no changes. You can these seven in any order except for Quit, which must be the last option selected.
