This walkthrough provides step-by-step instructions for completing TAIKU MANSION from beginning to end. As such, it will contain spoilers for every puzzle, so do not read this if you'd rather attempt to solve them yourself. TAIKU MANSION is entirely linear, and must be completed in the below order. There are no optional paths or events, or alternative solutions to puzzles with the exception of Step 7. If you want to reset a puzzle, you can exit a room and enter it again. This does not work on the last puzzle, Step 10, since the game will end if you answer incorrectly. For those of you interested in Steam Achievements, completing the game will unlock all achievements, so they will not be mentioned in detail here. If part of the screen is cut off, change the resolution in the Settings menu. The game calls the mansion's lower floor the "ground floor" and the upper floor the "first floor" and not the "first floor" and "second floor" as it might be called in some parts of the world. 1. Start the game and an introduction will play. 2. Enter the northwest room of the ground floor. You will see a picture of a living room. Click on an object next to the pillar to the right of the fireplace. Leave the room. 3. Enter the northeast room of the first floor. You will see a piano. You can interact with three of the white keys in the middle. Press the three keys in the following order: left, middle, right, middle, left, middle, right. Leave the room. 4. Enter the eastern room of the first floor. Set the code to 537 using the plus signs. Leave the room. 5. Enter the southwest room of the ground floor. Enter the following: down, right, up, left, down, left, up, right. Leave the room. 6. Enter the western room of the first floor. You will see six red buttons. Call them top left, bottom left, center middle, top right, center right, bottom right. Press them in the the following order: top left, center right, bottom left, top right, bottom right, bottom left, center middle. Leave the room. 7. Enter the northewest room of the first floor. This is a classic "lights out" puzzle with nine squares to click. Several solutions are possible here if you want to experiment. One solution is the following: top right, top center, top left, center left, center right, bottom right, bottom center, bottom left. Leave the room. 8. Enter the northeast room of the ground floor. Do the following actions: jump, right, right, jump, right, right. Leave the room. 9. Enter the south room of the first floor. Enter the code 140.15 using the plus signs. Leave the room. (This is an obtuse reference to Metal Gear Solid and how Meryl's code was written on the back of the game's jewel case). 10. Enter the southeast room of the ground floor.
