In this FAQ I have typed up the dialogue and story related text that appears 
in Super Valis IV for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The text is 
exactly as it appears in the game except it's not all capitals.

*                Prologue                  *
********************************************
At the end of the 
century... 

The reddish moon symbolizing 
the evil spirit world rises in 
the sky. 

The followers of the evil 
spirit are resurrected with 
the rising of the moon. 

Gallagher, king of the 
evil spirit's forces, 
bellows to all who listen: 

"We will destroy the dream 
 world first and then eliminate 
 all who are not part of the 
 evil spirit's reign!" 

Yuko Ahso, goddess of the 
celestial Valis, awards the 
divine Valis sword to a young 
maiden from the dream world. 

Lena receives the Valis sword 
to uphold her strength as a 
Valis warrior. She is the only 
one who possesses the power to 
defeat Gallagher. 

Yuko: Mighty maiden... 
      The bells toll for battle

Gallagher: Lena, 
           Valis warrior 
           you are finally 
           here. 
           Your life ends 
           now!

Lena: I will not die 
      until I restore 
      love and peace 
      in the world!

Defeat at last... 

The death of the king of the 
evil spirit's world has 
silenced the reddish moon and 
in its place two new moons are 
born. 

This starts the turbulent 
destiny of the new Valis 
warrior Lena who will 
eventually become a legend of 
the land. 

But this is a 
story for 
another time...
