You choose 1 of 30 maps to fight on and then you can choose how much money to give yourself and your enemy to make the battle easier or harder. Even though you move your units on a map, when it comes time to fight you have to fight the enemy one on one in a real time match. Because of the "do it your own way" nature of this game it's hard to write a traditional walkthrough. So instead I'm making overview of how to play the game. =============================================================================== Battle Set Up =============================================================================== On the start screen choose "New Game" and then choose one of the 30 battle maps and press "Start". On the next screen you have some importaint options on both the left and right of the screen! From top to bottom: ***************** *Choose Officers* ***************** Choose who's fighting who. The CONTROLLER is YOU. If both left and right are left on the controller then you will be playing a 2-player game. If both left and right are on AI characters you will be watching the AIs fight and not be playing. Leave the left as the controller and change the right to an enemy character to play the game by your self. ******* *Force* ******* Start with a small group of suits or a large one. Giving your self a large group and the enemy a small one might help you out. If you're playing against a friend who hasn't played before then letting them have a big group while you start with a small one may help even up the match. ******* *Money* ******* Give yourself or you enemy money to start with. If you give yourself a lot of money you can put out powerful weapons but you're kind of cheating. Giving a less experianced friend money to start with can help them enjoy fighting you more. Giving money to an AI makes the battle harder and either makes it very short (they crush you) or very long (They never run out of Suits to fight you). =============================================================================== Map Controls And Deployment. =============================================================================== Use the Directional Pad to move the curser on the map. Move the curser onto one of you units and press "A" to move it on the map with the directional padand to see it's remaining energy (life). If you move it into an enemy they will fight. Ship units have options to attack with missiles or cannons in addition to moving on the map. Press "A" on a G-base or "GB" (Base with large "G" or "GB") to go the deployment menu. Press a again and then press "Up" and "Down" to look through the list of units available for you to deploy. Units only appear if you have the money to deploy them and some Suits are not available on every map. Press "A" again to deploy the Suit or Ship you choose, then on the next turn when the "E" is off the base on the map go into the base menu (Press "A"on it) and press "A" to bring out the finished unit and move it. Some units take more then one turn to finish. When you move a Suit onto a base or city it will capture it and your "IC" will increase. "IC" is your incoming credit (money) and can be seen on the bottom left of the map screen. IC is the amount of money you will receive at the start of the next turn. "CT" is your current money that you can spend to deploy suits. Press "Select" to bring up the save menu and press "A" to save your game or "B" to switch Officers. Press "A+B" to bring up the end turn menu and press "A" to end your turn. =============================================================================== Mobile Suit Battle =============================================================================== When 2 enemy Mobile Suits or ships move into the same square on the map they go into a real-time battle! Press "Start" to begin the match! Use the Directional Pad to move your Suit in all directions. Press "A" to fire your range weapon. Press "B" to use your melee weapon. Press "A+B" to use your Special attack. Press diagonally on the directional pad when you attack to attack diagonally. The battles are timed and you can see long you have left on the clock in the bottom middle of the screen. More information on fighting comming soon! =============================================================================== Mobile Suit ANd Weapon List =============================================================================== These Untits are only listed for deployment when you have enough money to deploy them.
