===================================DISCLAIMER================================== I have decided not to allow websites other than Gamefaqs (www.gamefaqs.com), IGN (faqs.ign.com) & Gamespot (www.gamespot.com) to host my FAQs from now on. Please don't ask, because I will not grant permission. It's just that too many sites don't keep their version of my FAQ up to date which makes for a lot of hassle in my mailbox. So if anyone sees this FAQ on any site other than those mentioned above, please let me know and I will take care of the situation, thanks. Just to make things crystal clear for some people, this FAQ is not to appear anywhere at the following URLs: http://www.cheatcc.com http://www.cheatindex.com This document Copyright 2004,2017 Daniel Engel =============================================================================== Taboo: The Sixth Sense FAQ November 30, 2017 Daniel (DEngel) Engel dan.engel.2017 [AT] gmail [DOT] com ############################################################################### (A) TABLE OF CONTENTS ############################################################################### Table of Contents (A) This Table of Contents (B) Controls (C) The Game (D) Experimental ############################################################################### (B) CONTROLS ############################################################################### The controls for this game are very simple, and are as follows: D-Pad - Moves the cursor when typing. A - Type letters. B - Erases letters. Start - Starts the game. Select - Starts the game. ############################################################################### (C) THE GAME ############################################################################### Bricklayer J. Gastronomy This isn't really a game at all, think of it as a very cryptic magic 8-ball on a nintendo cartridge. After starting the game you will see the following message: "All that has been And all that will be Is here for you to know Dare you glimpse the future Dare you even ask..? Taboo The time machine on Nintendo!" Yeah I know, you could get a similar effect by reading the manual for a Oija board, but this is pretty hilarious too. You are then asked to enter your name, birthdate and sex. Once you've done this you can type in your question and pity anyone who paid money for this game. Now some cards are shuffled and you are told which card is yours before 10 cards are laid out on the screen like so: __ __ | | | | |10| |03| |__| |__| __ | | __ __ __ |09| | | | | __ | | |__| |06| |01| | | |05| __ |__| |__| |02| |__| | | |__| |08| __ |__| | | __ |04| | | |__| |07| |__| Each card has a special title according to it's position above and these titles are listed below. 01 - Significator 02 - Crossing Card 03 - Crowning Card 04 - Base Of The Matter 05 - Past Influences 06 - Forthcoming Influences 07 - Where One Finds Oneself 08 - Views Of Others 09 - Hopes And Fears 10 - Final Outcome You are then shown each card in the order depicted above and told its meaning. However the descriptions are so longwinded and complicated (since they're full of broken english) that by the time you have read all 10, you'll likely have forgotten your original question and be wondering why you're still "playing" this "game". There are 78 possible cards in the game, 56 of which are numbered and 22 which are not. Of the numbered cards they go from ace to king like a normal deck of cards, but instead of a jack there are two cards, the knight and page. These 14 cards are in 4 suits, coins, cups, staffs and swords. The 22 non-numbered cards are as follows: Death Judgement Justice Strength Temperance The Chariot The Devil The Emperor The Empress The Falling Tower The Fool The Hanged Man The Hermit The High Priestess The Hierophant The Lovers The Magician The Moon The Star The Sun The Wheel Of Fortune The World After you've seen the 10 cards you get to generate some lucky numbers and then the "game" is over. The 10 cards are randomly picked, and their description is generated at random as well. =============== FORTUNE NUMBERS =============== Here you pick your state/province (using A and B), the amount of numbers you want picked (using select), and the range of values for these numbers (using the D-pad). Then you press start and the game gives you your "lucky numbers". Each state/province has a default setting for some reason, and it's a little confusing given that you can customize all of the settings but the default settings for each state or listed below. State/Province Min Max Amount AZ 01 39 06 CA 01 49 06 CT 01 40 06 DE 01 34 06 DC 01 40 07 FL 01 49 06 IL 01 54 06 IA 01 36 06 KS 01 33 06 ME 01 40 06 MD 01 40 06 MA 01 46 06 MI 01 44 06 MO 01 44 06 NH 01 40 06 NJ 01 42 06 NY 00 54 06 OH 01 44 06 OR 01 42 06 PA 01 48 06 RI 01 40 07 VT 01 40 06 WA 01 44 06 WV 01 40 07 BC 01 49 06 NB 01 49 06 ON 01 49 06 That's pretty much all there is to Taboo: The Sixth Sense ############################################################################### (D) EXPERIMENTAL ############################################################################### For a little while now I've had a paypal link in all my FAQs at the very bottom here. Mainly as a small experiment since a few other FAQ authors have also had the same idea. I had a few people email me before I put this link in because they wanted to send money, so it's here for those people. For the record I've received about $87 (which works out to a bit more in Canadian lol) last I checked, so I've been getting cases of pop and making some excellent progress on a few FAQs. If you don't want to send money or can't then send me an email, it's nice to hear what people thought about my work and there's always room for improvement. My email address and paypal address for those that want to contribute are both dan.engel.2017 (AT) gmail (DOT) com Many thanks, and I hope you continue to use my work! ~Dan
