I will go straight to the point. This guide is a list of the opponents pokémons movesets. I tried to include as much useful information as possible. The names of the opponents, the names of their pokémons, their type (like Pikachu or Eevee ), their moves and their levels. The guide is not complete yet but it should help you go through round one. I will also give comments at many points. Have fun! ^-^ By the way, expect the guide to contain spoilers, like what is the Final Battle. If you don't want to know what you'll fight, come back to this guide later. You're warned! If you like the opponent pokémon color, take note of his name and then rename your pokémon the same way! However, you can't use numbers in a name without a game shark. This guide is not complete. If you want to help me finish it, scroll the page to the section at the bottom of it. *********** Round One : *********** ******************************************************************************* ******************************************************************************* Pika Cup ******************************************************************************* ******************************************************************************* Comments : Dragon Rage is your friend here. About Raticate, watch out for his Quick Attack. Also, an Hyper Beam from a Clefable in the Pika Cup is quite brutal. has a Toxic/Dig combo. Electabuzz has Thunder Wave and Reflect.

this team. If your opponent in the game have Blastoise, it will replace
Gyarados. If he has Charizard, it will replace Arcanine. If he has Venusaur, it
will replace Exeggutor. I would appreciate it a lot if anyone could get me

Mewtwo Battle :

MEWTWO
-Psychic

Comments : There's plenty of way to win if you have trouble. Since Mewtwo is
alone, he is vulnerable against stat down moves like Sand Attack, Screech and
Psychic. You can pick a team of Self Destructing pokémon. You can also use ice
attacks and hope that Mewtwo get frozen. You can use Thunder Wave and then try
One Hit KO moves (Fissure, Horn Drill and Guillotine). I suggest the last
method if you're using rental pokémons. Just start the battle with Electrode.
Oh and if you're wondering, you must beat all of the cups and your rival before
he appears.

Comments : This time, he has the highest speed possible for a Mewtwo. Also,
he will power up with Amnesia so don't bother with Psychic. I suggest to
paralyse him and go for a One Hit KO for rental. Whatever you do, make sure to
use Thunder Wave first. Explosion and Self-Destruct could work. Sand Attack
too. I highly suggest to use a pokémon with an high special like Chansey or
Snorlax. Or you could do it your own way! : P Whatever you do, give your best
shot. If you came all the way up to here, you can win that last battle.

-Future edition

I'm not playing the game anymore but if you want this guide to be updated
(or free of any mistakes/typos!), e-mail me with the adequate information.
Still, I might replay it some day...
Anyway, Round Two is the next big thing to be covered.
If I get enough questions, I might also add an faq section.
**************
How to help me
**************
First make sure you the info you give me is not on my guide.
Make a copy of my guide if needed. Just don't post it or sell it! ^-^
You can also use the text at the very end of the guide if it's of any help.
I want for Round Two the name of the cup, the name of the opponent,
and it's number ( # 1 is first, # 8 is last).
If possible, I want the exact order of their pokémons,
the way the game list it. Something like that :
1 2 3
4 5 6
I also want the nickname and type of the pokémon, like :
PORYACE
Porygone
I want their levels for the Pika, Petit and Poke Cup.
For the entries in general, I want the type of the pokémon (like Pikachu)
and all of it's moves. Not all pokémons have four moves!
Now, if you're serious about finding the opponent moves (and you don't have a
Gameshark!), you'll need specific pokémons.
The ultimate move for finding out a pokémon moveset is Transform.
However, only the "a bit weak" Ditto and the rather rare Mew has it.
The second best move is Mimic. The problem is that's it's random. Also, if you
want a confirmation that your opponent has less than four moves, you have to
fight for a while.
If those moves doesn't work well for you, bring a defensive pokémon.
Something like a Snorlax with :
Rest
Double Team
Amnesia
Reflect/Substitute
It will take some time but you will force your opponent
to use all of his moves.
You can stop when he use his fourth move or Struggle.
If you're really serious, consider bringing pokémons from Gold/Silver/Crystal
like Clefairy or Meowth with the Amnesia or Barrier move.
Now, if anyone can find this info, it would be "cherry on top" if anybody could
find the speed of all pokémons. But don't feel obligated about this one.
If you want to get a Mew with Transform, there's a trick to get one.
You know the trick where you must push a truck?
IT'S NOT THIS ONE!
BESIDE, IT DOESN'T WORK!!!
Anyway, there is a guide in www.gamefaqs.com which explain how to get Mew
by exploiting a glitch. Since Nintendo made Mews hard to come by, even more
than Mewtwo, you might want to give it a look.
The guide is "Mew Glitch FAQ" by TheScythe.

-How to contact me
******************
If you have any information to send for updating or correcting this guide or
any question to ask, send it to :
cadieux_philippe@hotmail.com
Please use a polite and understable langage please.
Also please only send e-mail related to this guide and use a title for your
e-mail explaining it's nature (like pokémon moveset guide contribution or
something like that).
Inadequate e-mail will probably be left unanswered and deleted.
If for some reason, the e-mail bounce back, try e-mailing me another day,
the time that I clean my e-mail In-Box.
**************
-"Thanks list"
**************
I thank CJayC for reading my guide and posting it to gamefaqs.
Don't forget to click the banners on the site at least once in a while. ^-^
I will post your name here if you contribuate
so please don't be afraid to do so.

-Legal info (copyright and such)
********************************
This guide is copyrighted by me, Mew seeker. If you want to post this guide on
your website, you must post it integrally.
But most importatly, you must ask my permission first! E-mail me so I can give
my ok.
Also note that the most updated version will be in www.gamefaqs.com
( In case I get lazy or forgetful while updating... ^-^; )
You can also find a copy at www.neoseeker.com
Also, you can't sell this guide for your own personnal gain.
E-mail me first! ; )
Seriously, I took some of my time to make that guide and gave it for free.
The least you could do is send the information for free
and not claiming that you did find it yourself when it isn't true.
Beside, as far as I know, that information isn't anywhere in the web in
english. Because the guide isn't complete yet, you'll get spotted quite fast.
If you don't want to get spotted, you'll have to work hard by completing this
guide and wholly reformat it! > : D
*****************
-end of the guide
*****************
You can use the text at the end of the guide to make your own list.
Well, that's about it.
Have a nice day! ^-^
