Game Master Information by ReyVGM _/_/_/ Menu _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ - Information - Usage - Game Menu - Extra - Games - Thanks _/_/_/ Information _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ The Game Master (Konami no Game o 10 Bairaku Shimu Cartridge in Japan) is a cheating cartridge created by Konami and released in Japan and Europe. It worked on most Konami games for the MSX and some for the MSX2 by inserting it in the other available cartridge slot of the system and it allowed you to increase your lives and select levels, among other things. _/_/_/ Usage _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ If you are playing an MSX1 game, you have to insert the Game Master cart in slot 1 and the game of choice in slot 2. For MSX2 games, you have to insert the game in slot 1 and the game master in slot 2. When you load the cart, you can hold ESC to go directly into the game and you'll still be able to use the extra options (shown below). If you want to start the game without having the extra features available, then hold Shift. _/_/_/ Game Menu _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ Once you turn on the system with your game of choice, you'll get the Game Master menu. There are 3 options: Game, Modify and Self. -= Game =- Select this option to start the game without cheats. -= Modify =- This is where you enable the cheats. Once you enter the Modify Menu, you'll see a number on top, this is the product ID Number and each game has a different one. Below you'll see several options. Modify Stage Number: Press the Space key to enter and select the level you ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ want to start in. Press F5 to go back to the previous menu. Modify Player Number: Press the Space key to enter and modify the amount of ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Lives to start with. Press F5 to go back to the previous menu. Ranking Mode: Enter for more options. End: Go back to the main menu. ¯¯¯ _/_/_/ Extra _/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/_/ Extra options are made possible by the Game Master and are enabled while playing the game. Not all of these options work on all the Konami games. Below I'll present a list of what games have these options available. But first, the extras: Pause Option: While playing, press the "Stop" key to pause the game. The Caps ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ light will turn on when you do this. To unpause, press the "Stop" key again. If there's a certain option not available to that particular game, then I'll make a note of it. If a game is not here, then it doesn't work with the Game Master. Remember, MSX1 games have to be inserted in slot 2, while the Game Master is in slot 1. For MSX2 games, you have to insert the game in slot 1 and the Game Master in slot 2 (you'll get to pick lives and stages once you start the game). -= MSX1 Games =- Game ID Notes ¯¯¯¯ ¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯ Antartic Adventure RC701 No lives cheat.
