As for those who are wondering when will I update my Peace walker guide all I can say is that I want you to stop sending me e-mails about how to unlock this and that so just be patient. As for now, I recently played MGA mobile and I found it to be fun but still it didn't appeal to me as the PSP version did because most of the characters have been removed (including Teliko :( ...) and the story has barely any connection to the one in the PSP version. Once again I have putted in codes next to each section's name for faster scrolling. All you need to do is press CTRL+F and type the code for the desired section. TRAINING WALKTHROUGH {TRW05} \ / |_| \ / _ \ / |_| \ / \ / \ ________/_________________________________________________________________\___ | ______________________________________________________________________________| Before you start the main game, you will first have to complete the training in order to get used to the card system. It's not necessary but I suggest you go through the training first. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 1: Movement ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This first training mission is very easy. All you have to do is guide Snake into the blue circle that is in front of you. After Roger's briefing you will select a card (you only have movement cards) and select the move option to move. You can get to the blue circle in 3 turns. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 2: Enemies ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will have to get passed the enemy undetected in order to complete this training. Press 0 to go into free camera mode and point at the enemy. Now you can see his range of vision indicated by the yellow dots in front of him. As you can see you will have to move only on the left side of the area so make your way through to the blue circle. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 3: Crawling ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will have to reach the blue circle by crawling. Once you have selected the block you want to stay on, select crawl that is beneath stay. You can only move two blocks using crawling. Now you can just get near the blue circle and select crawl and then reach it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 4: Knocking ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will now see that you are able to use weapons (Yay). Now in order to knock you will have to get near a wall, select the direction where the wall is and press flaten. Now skip one turn by entering the menu and selecting end turn. Once the guard's turn is over, enter the menu again and press knock. Now the guard will hear the knock and will rush to see whats going on. Before his turn, just move left and stay one block before the guards vision. Once he goes away, quickly head for the blue circle. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 5: Weapons ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finally, you will get the chance to kill. Move near the guard and select an assault rifle or a sub-machine gun because they take almost all his life. Once he is on the ground finish him with your next weapon and head for the blue circle to the right. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 6: Equipment ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are two patrolbots guarding the exit and you can't get passed them without being spotted. Before you go ahead, equip the box and head passed the patrolbots. The good thing is that they won't spot you if you move passed them so go on ahead to complete you training. Good work! The training is complete, now it's time to head for Lobito island. _____________________________________________ / \ / _ \ / | | \ / | | \ / | | 6. MISSION PYTHAGORAS WALKTHROUGH {MPW06} \ / |_| \ / _ \ / |_| \ / \ / \ ________/_________________________________________________________________\___ | ______________________________________________________________________________| From here your main mission begins. You will go through 10 stages of stealth, action, one-liners, ID cards and finally face Pytgagoras. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 1: Entry gate ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ______________________________ / MISSION INFO \ _______________________/________________________________\_____________________ | Needed cards: Stun grenades | | Items: 2 | | Enemies: 4 Terrorists | | Objective: Get through the gate | | ______________________________________________________________________________| Once your dialoge with Roger is over, select the free camera mode to take a good look at the area. I suggest that you first go to the warehouse to the right to get the extra cards inside. Once you go one block passed the fence, go right and once you get in front of it, go down. When you are near the enemy guarding the warehouse, go left one block before him to enter the warehouse and get the cards inside. Now return to the fence and go north. Move right and then make your way inside the room where the cards are stashed. Go out and move west into the alley. Make sure that you are one block behind the alley in which the guard patrols. When he is in front of you, make sure to wait for him to move away to the right and go north then right. Now if you played the PSP version you might think that you should try to knock to lure the guard but you shouldn't even think of doing it because both of the guards will come and eventually take you down. The best way to get through here is to use your stun grenades. Go one block before the guards field of vision and throw the stun grenade one block after the guard. Wait a few turns for it to explode. Once he is stunned, use your cards to move to the blue circle to complete the mission. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 2: Reception area ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ______________________________ / MISSION INFO \ _______________________/________________________________\_____________________ | Needed cards: Pistols and assault rifles | | Items: 1 | | Enemies: 4 Terrorists, 3 surveillance cameras | | Objective: Make your way to the administration rooms | | ______________________________________________________________________________| First off, you should kill the guard that you see on the right. To do so just go next to him. Your turns will end so punch him in order to stun him. Once he gets up finish him with a weapon. Head north and make sure that you are staying on the left side to go beneath the camera. Once you are one block away from the camera in front of you, select a weapon and aim at the camera next to the door. Once you destroy it, enter the door. If there is a guard in front of you, this will be good because you can get passed him without the need of killing him. Before you go to the door on the left, go right to take the packs of cards and head for the door. Once the guard moves right it will be your chance to get through the door. Ignore the guard and head north to put this mission in the bag. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 3: Administration areas ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ______________________________ / MISSION INFO \ _______________________/________________________________\_____________________ | Needed cards: Chaff grenades, assault rifles and box | | Items: 1 | | Enemies: 4 Terrorists, 3 surveillance cameras, 1 patrol bot | | Objective: Retrieve card lv.1 | | ______________________________________________________________________________| First you will need to get card lv.1 in order to leave this area. Head left but make sure that you don't come across the guard's vision. Once he moves away, head for the door on the right. You will recieve a call from Roger warning you about the patrol bot inside the room. You have 3 choices now. Use a chaff grenade to stun it (Make sure that it is not next to the door) use an assault rifle to also stun it or sneak passed it. I prefer you use a chaff grenade since it will keep it in one place and you will have time to get the cards in the room and get through the door. In the next room there is only one guard. Go north and go to the right when he is not looking. Now in the room ahead you will find the card but there is a surveillance camera that is looking at it. If you try to grab it, you will raise the alarm so destroy the camera before you proceed. Once you get it you will have to place it in your equipment. If you have to items in your equipment the remove the one that you don't need. Now return all the way back to where you began the mission and head east. Before you go, equip the box to use it as a disguise to get passed the two guards at the exit. If you have triggered the alarm then don't go because they will notice you and trigger the alarm again. Once the two guards are next to each other, both of them will look in opposite directions. When this happens go to the corner to the east. When they aren't looking at your direction, head for the corner on the right. Once the path is open, head for the exit. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 4: Armoury ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ______________________________ / MISSION INFO \ _______________________/________________________________\_____________________ | Needed cards: Stun grenades, silenced guns and box | | Items: 0 ( Some Armoury this turned out to be XD ) | | Enemies: 4 Terrorists, 4 surveillance cameras | | Objective: Get through the armoury | | ______________________________________________________________________________| This place sure has tight security with all the cameras and guards here. First off go west to leave the room. This is where you should equip the box. Hide between the walls and move when the guard isn't looking. From here I can tell you that you SHOULDN'T and I mean SHOULDN'T go south to where the three guards are. Oh, but you want to check out the rooms for cards don't you? Well there aren't any in all three rooms so don't even bother going there or you will get seen and killed very fast. Instead go north to the door and make sure that the guards are away or can't see you. From here you will just have to destroy the two cameras and head for the exit. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 5: Residential area ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ______________________________ / MISSION INFO \ _______________________/________________________________\_____________________ | Needed cards: Stun grenades, weapons | | Items: 1 | | Enemies: 5 Terrorists | | Objective: Retrieve card lv. 2 | | ______________________________________________________________________________| This stage has a new hazard and you might not like it. There are sensors on each door that leads to the next area. You will have to crawl under them to avoid setting of the alarm. I should also mention that this place is quite narrow and getting passed the guards might be impossible withouth killing them. First head west then north. This is the sensor so crawl under. Head for the barrack to east to hide if the guards isn't looking there. Once you get the chance, kill him. When you get through the sensor move left. You will encounter the next guard but he won't be looking at you direction so you can either stun him or kill him. OK, when you get out of the room then head right and use the same strategy to kill the next guard as you did with the first by hidding in the barracks. When you are nearing the last room, pay attention to the last two guards. As you can see, one of them comes out of the barrack to the north and goes back in. You can get passed him withouth getting seen but will have to throw a stun grenade on the block that he stands outside. If you are lucky you might be able to stun him and get passed him. Now from here there is a barrack south of the exit containing the card lv.2. Go inside and take it. Before you leave you should take out the guard that is blocking the exit. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 6: Warehouse ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ______________________________ / MISSION INFO \ _______________________/________________________________\_____________________ | Needed cards: Chaff grenades, weapons and Ocelot unite | | Items: 0 | | Enemies: 4 Terrorists, 3 patrol bots | | Objective: Get through the warehouse | | ______________________________________________________________________________| This is a very easy stage since you can get through this warehouse just by moving north from your current possition. I also suggest that if you aren't spotted then don't shoot at the red barrels because they will make a loud explotion and it will raise the alarm. Now head only north. You will see a patrol bot that is standing on the left. You should stay where you are and let it move south. WHAT YOU WEREN'T SPOTTED? Well lucky you so keep heading north until you reach the exit. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 7: Power station ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ______________________________ / MISSION INFO \ _______________________/________________________________\_____________________ | Needed cards: Grenades, C4 and weapons | | Items: 1 | | Enemies: 5 Terrorists, 2 gun cameras | | Objective: Destroy the control panels to disable the electrical floors | Retrieve card lv.3 | ______________________________________________________________________________| This is quite a heavily guarded power station. From here head right and you will see the first control panel. I suggest that you first take out the guard that is next to it. If you don't want the alarm to go off once you've destroyed the control panel, kill the guard next to the electrified floor. Now you are safe and won't trigger the alarm once you destroy the control panel. You can destroy the control panel by either using C4 or a grenade. Now head for the room where the floor was electrified and head north to the door. Stay on the right side and take a look at the gun camera's vision. Take it out using a gun. Now the next room has two guards and you might have to use assault rifles to get passed them. Wait for when some of them comes alone. When they are all dead, before destroying the contol panel, kill the guard that is blocking the exit. Use a grenade and go to destroy the control panel. Go to inside the room and take the right side to avoid going by through the gun camera. Take the card and return to the area where you killed the guard with a grenade. Take the exit now. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 8: Outside F.A.R ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ______________________________ / MISSION INFO \ _______________________/________________________________\_____________________ | Needed cards: Long range weapons and Ocelot unit | | Items: 2 | | Enemies: 5 Terrorists, 4 gun cameras | | Objective: Get inside F.A.R | | ______________________________________________________________________________| You can directly head for F.A.R's front door but if you want some weapons for later I suggest you take the two packs that are located in your area. First off take down the guard near you so you can move ahead. Punch him and finish him with an assault rifle. Now go north next to the wall and go left. This way the guard to the south can't see you. You should see the guard that is blocking the path to F.A.R. Take him down and the gun cameras too. Now hide behind the containers to the right to sneak inside the big room with the cards packs. Once you are in take them and get out the same way where you came. Head west for the next packs located inside the room. Return to where you kill the guard blocking the path to F.A.R. Destroy the camera along the way and go inside. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 9: B1F ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ______________________________ / MISSION INFO \ _______________________/________________________________\_____________________ | Needed cards: Long range weapons, chaff grenades, C4, grenades and box | | Items: 0 | | Enemies: 1 Terrorist, 4 gun cameras and 2 patrol bots | | Objective: Take down the security to get inside Pythagora's hangar | | ______________________________________________________________________________| This sure is a tough one. First off I should warn you that you can't destroy the patrol bots no matter what you do. Your best chance is to use chaff grenades or the box but I prefer you use the box because they won't notice you. Before all this, go right all the way beneath the gun camera. Wait for the guard to come there and kill him. For some reason he couldn't see you there. Now destroy the gun camera and head right. Use your chaff grenade one turn before the patrol bot enters the room. Use a grenade and get out. Head left to destroy the last control panel. Use the same tactics and head north to the door. Shoot down the turrets and enter the door. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mission 10: Pythagora's hangar ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ______________________________ / MISSION INFO \ _______________________/________________________________\_____________________ | Needed cards: Assault rifles, body armor and health items | | Items: 0 | | Enemies: Pythagoras (Metal gear KODOQUE), 2 gun cameras | | Objective: Destroy Pythagoras | | ______________________________________________________________________________| Guess Pythagoras turned out to be a Metal Gear (Oh really?). To destroy KODOQUE, you will need to take out it's arsenal before taking it down. First destroy it's left missile arm. Watch for the orange blocks when it's KODOQUE's turn. They indicate where the missiles will land and make sure that you don't get hit because it take a lot of damage. The next thing you should worry about is it's eye. It's meant for shooting a laser so once you see the orange blocks get away. When you've taken down it's defense you will have to destroy it with what you've got. KODOQUE won't be able to attack you so have fun. Congratulations! You have completed mission Pythagoras! _____________________________________________ / \ / _ \ / | | \ / | | \ / | | 7.
