Once You have eaten an apple Your snake will get an extra block on his tail (become longer) and another apple will appear on the screen, in a different location. The location of an apple is random, But it can't appear on an already occupied square of the screen (E.G. the wall or where the snake is) If you Hit the wall or eat your own tail then you will end the game and will be given a score. The score --------- You will be awarded points by the following formula: Score = Apples X level That means say you had eaten 7 apples on level 5 your score will be 35 35 = 7 X 5 Tips ---- 1) If you want to get the highest possible score, play on level 9. Do NOT head strait for the apple, But cover every square on your way to it, E.g. Go all the way Right, then down 1, Then all the way left EXCEPT 1 square, Then down 1 and right again. Repeat this process until you reach the bottom, and then head to the top via the space you left on the right hand side of the screen. Providing you do this well, You will get the highest score 2) Use * and # Keys. If you need to suddenly U-turn, Pressing the bottom corner keys on the keypad will Make your snake about turn, to the left or right, immediately. 3) Look for gaps before heading in that direction. If you get far in the game, you will notice that you run into your self and get in your own way. This will be slow, But you can work up and adjust it to your desired speed. Q. Why doesn't it look as good as it does on my friends phone? A. Your mates phone might be running Snake 2, Snake 2 EX or a JAVA version. Snake comes in all different forms, but the principles are the same. I'd check your phone model and your mates, Chances are your friends is more up-2 -date. Q. Can i upload my Snake high score? A. There are many ways to upload a snake high score, Some phones Allow you to do it via WAP, and it will be found in the menu to the game. Some phones will give you a unique code that you can put in online and that will tell them your score. You can also do it by registering with some sites. Unfortunately not all versions of snake support this, Q. Has/Can my phone get snake? A. If you already have snake, It will be in your games, or applications Menu. If it isn't you may be able to download it from club nokia.
