Fatal Force is a shooter, with good grapics and nice controls which is very important. In this FAQ I'll explain the weapons, aliens and characters encountered in the game. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Overview ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Satellite data shows a metallic mass some five kilometres across has landed in Siberia after travelling from somewhere beyond our solar system. All attempts by the army to reach the area have failed: tanks, soldiers and planes have all disappeared without trace Fatal Force: Earth Assault - Arcade action on your mobile! Prove it! Fatal Force Battlezone provides online scores, statistics, player profiles, clans and downloadable new skirmish maps for Fatal Force agents around the world. The skirmish mode is all about instant action. You can choose between "deathmatch", "domination" or "capture the flag" modes where two teams of agents battle it out against each other. You can choose to play with computer "bots" or team up with a friend via bluetooth. 'Story mode' is a single player game that lets you choose a character and fight your way through to the heart of the alien base. The action starts at the outskirts of the alien landing zone where you must battle your way through hordes of deadly enemies to the entrance of the base. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- / \ | 03. Mission [MISSI] | \ / -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FATAL FORCE MISSION BRIEFING DATE: 28 August 2010 TIME: 5.38 AM EET (Eastern European time) LOCATION: Sea of Okhotsk, Magadan region, Siberia [59.2203°N 143.1980°W] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ OBJECTIVE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Your team is being deployed at the perimeter of the alien landing zone. Your initial objective is to infiltrate the outer perimeter of the zone and probe the alien defences. Further objectives will be provided based on the intelligence estimate. Limited supply drops and air support will be available. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ INTELLIGENCE ANALYSIS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All attempts to send conventional air and ground units to the area have failed The area is enveloped in a growing grey mist which affects communication links and only partial satellite imagery is available. It is now assumed that the intentions of the aliens are hostile and that what we are currently seeing is some kind of advance invasion force of unknown origin. Unless this force is contained and destroyed, a large scale attack and annihilation of the planet is likely. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BACKGROUND ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [00:37 EET] Military satellites track a large self-propelled extraterrestrial object landing in Siberia. Object is metallic and approximately 5000m in diameter. Its telemetry is consistent with a hollow core and an origin outside the solar system. The object has not responded to repeated contact attempts during flight or after landing. Ground forces in the area are alerted to its presence and reconnaissance teams are dispatched to the area. [01:14 EET] Sensors at a number of unmanned relay stations record a large electromagnetic surge. All data transmission from relay stations cease. Attempts to contact reconnaissance teams and local infantry bases unsuccessful. [03:11 EET] 55th Tactical fighter squadron is scrambled to provide reconnaissance data of the area. [03:27 EET] Fighter squadron reports large area of deforestation surrounding an impact crater estimated at 15 kilometres diameter with large spherical metallic mass at the centre. Attempts to analyse the mass with on-board sensors unsuccessful [03:28 EET] Flight commander reports an unspecified number of inbound high speed objects launched from crater. [03:29 EET] Last radio transmission from flight squadron. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ LAST RADIO TRANSCRIPT FROM 55TH TACTICAL FIGHTER SQUADRON ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [03:28:11] Flight commander: Control, this is Eagle Five. I am detecting multiple unidentified objects on intercept trajectory. Point of origin appears to be the crater. I am changing course and taking evasive action, over. [03:28:21] Control: Roger that Eagle Five. Do you have visual contact? [03:28:26] Flight commander: Negative. Visibility is poor - there seems to a lot of low cloud over the area. Radar shows that the UFOs have changed trajectory to match our new course. My instruments are showing their speed at over Mach 2.8 - that can't be right! [03:28:37] Control: Eagle Five, suggest you.. Recruited into Fatal Force after serving as a weapons specialist in the SAS for 9 years, Jade is deadly accurate with any handgun ever made. Don't let her good looks fool you - her combination of tremendous speed and agility gives her the edge in any battle. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ AGENT: LEON NAME: LEON FOURNIER CALLSIGN: LEON AGE: 28 BORN: FRANCE SPECIALTY: ALL-ROUND DESCRIPTION: Leon is so cool under pressure that some people think he must have ice running through his veins. Having spent years as an elite sniper in the French foreign legion, Leon is used to keeping to himself and likes to plan his missions in minute detail. Despite his arrogant and laidback style, Leon is a fierce all-round fighter with a mixture of speed, power and skill. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ AGENT: NIKOLAI NAME: NIKOLAI TREMENKO CALLSIGN: NIKOLAI AGE: 30 BORN: RUSSIA SPECIALTY: POWER DESCRIPTION: Nikolai never was much of a diplomat. As far as he is concerned there is never a problem that can't be solved by a bit of brute force! Despite his explosive temper, Nikolai has become an integral part of the Fatal Force team through his bravery and strength. According to Nikolai there is no mission too hard or too dangerous for him and his favourite shotgun! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ GENERAL DAVIDS Once a great agent, General Davids now runs the Fatal Force operation out of HQ control. NIKOLAI Russian powerhouse with a short temper. LEON Leon is known to be as vigilant as he is arrogant. JADE Jade's speed and mobility gives her the upper hand in most battles. KEN Ken is the enemie's worst nightmare - nothing can stop this guy! PROJECT 2502 Fatal Force's first cyborg, utilising an upgraded version of 2501's battle AI. CHUANG Recruited from the Chinese underground, Chuang uses his razor sharp reflexes to his advantage. MICHELLE Despite her striking looks, Michelle normally operates as the spearhead in stealth missions. ZACK MASTERS Zack has a lot of past experience battling the fiercest of enemies! TAKESHI Takeshi is a master of close combat martial arts, but has been accustomed to the semi-automatic. JAMES Don't let this guy's looks deceive you. Despite his mild appearance, he can deal a heavy blow! CHR-1S Reconstructed after heavy battle damage, CHR-1S is half man, half machine. SEGER-BEAM If you can see laser beams flying, you know Seger-Beam is around! THE CAVEMAN No one really knows much about 'The Caveman' - he is something of a puzzle... MAJOR ATKINS Founder of Fatal Force, now retired, but he still hangs around the training facility trying to keep in shape. BRIGIT As General Davids' daughter she sometimes feels overprotected, but this girl needs no protecting! S. LAB S. Lab is dynamite, the best of the best! K.D. Paid with an endless supply of bananas, K.D. is a specially trained Fatal Force monkey agent. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- / \ | 05. Units [UNITS] | \ / -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ALIEN UNITS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Spy satellites managed to capture a small number of images of the alien landing zone before contact was lost. This database represents what we have been able to piece together from analysis of the pictures - owing to the strange nature of the alien technology, much of this is guesswork. Use these descriptions as a guideline only, and proceed with caution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ LIGHT PROBE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TYPE: Mechanical Probe THREAT Minor WEAPON Slow-firing projectiles A versatile alien unit, these were spotted in large numbers throughout the alien base. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HEAVY PROBE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TYPE: Alien Probe THREAT Medium WEAPON Slow-firing projectiles A more powerful version of the light probe, reports show these units to be concentrated within the alien base itself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ STATIONARY TURRET ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TYPE: Stationary gun turret THREAT Medium WEAPON Burst-fire projectiles Planted in strategic areas these turrets are a substantial threat when encountered during combat. Try to clear out any areas guarded by these before engaging other enemies. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ MOBILE TURRET ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TYPE: Articulated gun turret THREAT Medium/High WEAPON Explosive projectiles This insect-like robot is highly-mobile, and appears to use its body armour as a shield when on the move. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ALIEN INFANTRY ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TYPE: Ground infantry THREAT Medium/High WEAPON Hand-held projectile weapon These low-level troops are stationed throughout the alien complex. These units seem to attack in numbers when provoked and should be approached with extreme caution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ALIEN DEFENDER ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TYPE: Heavily armoured ground troops THREAT High WEAPON Rocket / Grenade launcher Analysis of radio transmissions seem to indicate that the Defenders act as the commanding officers over the infantry troops. They appear to be slower but more powerful than infantry, and tend to be stationed in the more heavily guarded areas. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ OUTER DEFENCE ALPHA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TYPE: Unknown THREAT Unknown, expected high WEAPON Unknown An unconfirmed report leads us to believe that a large alien "alpha" unit acts as the commander of the troops stationed in the outer perimeter of the landing zone. Our sources indicate it is very heavily armed and well guarded. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ????? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TYPE: ????? THREAT ????? WEAPON ????? A high energy concentration appears to be associated with this unit. No further intelligence available. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WEAPONS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Fatal Force team have a wide array of weapons to choose from, ranging from single shot projectile weapons to high-yield lasers. Weapon upgrades can be found in supply crates scattered throughout the battlefield. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SUPPLY CRATE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Supply crates contain weapons, power-ups and health packs. Shoot the crate to reveal the contents. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ MACHINE GUN ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The machinegun gives rapid fire over a wide area. Good for use against groups of enemies. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ LASER ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Extremely high rate of fire and severe damage makes this the weapon of choice for blasting aliens. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ GRENADE LAUNCHER ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A low rate of fire is compensated by its power to deal splash damage to any enemies caught in the blast area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ FLAME THROWER ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This petrol-powered beauty is lethal at close range! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ROCKET LAUNCHER ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The weapon deals the highest damage from a single shot. Great for taking out heavily armoured units. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ MECH SUIT ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jumping into a mechsuit gives you with a powerful cannon with high splash damage and added protection from the titanium armour. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ POWER-UPS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To give you the edge over your alien adversaries, there are a number of power-ups that can boost your performance for a limited time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ADRENALINE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Adrenaline boost will quadruple the power of your weapons. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ BULLET TIME ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bullet-time sends your neurons into overdrive making you move twice as fast as your enemies, allowing you to dodge their bullets and avoid damage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ INVINCIBILITY ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Renders you invincible to enemy fire. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HEALTH ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Gives you a boost when you are low on health. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- / \ | 06.
