Introduction ======================================= Hi, how is it going? This is my fourth walkthrough and this time, it's about a mobile game based on The Amazing Spider-man. I do not think the game sucks, but it's nothing special. The game is short so let's make this quick shall we? ======================================= 2. Story ======================================= The Green Goblin has hired some thugs to kidnap innocent citizens and make them helpless hostages. The people of New York city cry for desperate help. Only one man can save them and stop The Green Goblin and his thugs, and that man is Spider-man! ======================================= 4. Controls ======================================= Here are the controls for this game: Key - Action 4 - Move left 6 - Move right 2 - Crawl up 2 (next to a door) - Opens a door 8 - Crawl down 5 - Jump 5 (While in the air) - Swing 7 - Hit 9 - Spin web ======================================= 5. Items ======================================= These are the items that you can collect in this game: Spiders - Gives web cartridge ammo Red cross - Restores your health ======================================= 6. Objective ======================================= The game is a simple side-scrolling action/adventure game. The main goal in each stage is to rescue a certain number of hostages that have been kidnapped by The Green Goblin's thugs and find the exit at the end. I hope it will not be that hard for you, I guess. ___________________________________ ====================|Section C: FAQ/walkthrough |==================== |___________________________________| ======================================= 7. Walkthrough ======================================= You begin with three lives in this game. After they are all gone the game ends so, be very careful! I will explain the location of every hostage and exit. Read the walkthrough and enjoy the game! Level 1: 28th street ---------------------------- Number of hostages: 4 As you start go left and fall off the building. You will see the first hostage there. Kill the thug next to you and grab the web. Continue right. Climb the third building and get the health if needed. Beneath the building, there is another hostage. Look out! Three thugs are guarding. Atop of the next building another hostage awaits rescue. Do not think she is alone. Keep heading right and you should see the last hostage. Now that they are safe go right to the exit. Level 2: Brooklyn warehouse ---------------------------- Number of hostages: 2 Theres is a door next to you. Go through it. Jump on the platform. You will notice the only hostage in the room. If you need health, reach the far end wall and climb it until you see the health. Proceed through the next door. Go to the far right side and climb the wall. Swing to the platform next to you. Beat down the thug and jump on the platforms above you. Swing left at the empty platform, swing again to see the 2nd and last hostage in this level. The exit is located at the platform you used to swing to get here. Level 3: Harlem ---------------------------- Number of hostages: 5 The hostage is right next to you. I mean left. Make sure to take out the thugs. I think that this is suppose to be the first level but it doesn't matter. Get to the top of the second building to save the hostage. At the top of the third building you will see a hostage, a thug and some health. At the street beneath the building, go right and save the next hostage and kill the thugs. Only one more left to save. Reach the next skyscraper and aim for the roof. Save the last hostage and find the exit. The exit is at the right end. Level 4: Broadway theatre ---------------------------- Number of hostages: 3 You need to do a little more swinging here. Now, continue right. Climb the big wall. Jump on the first platform and swing to the next one. A thug, and a hostage are waiting for you there. Swing to the far end platform and enter the door. Move right. Kill the thug and jump over the box to save the hostage. Return to the door. From there move left. Climb the two platforms. Jump on the next platform. Get on the box and swing left. The final hostage is awaiting help. Proceed right to the exit and guess what comes next? Level 5: Goblin's den ---------------------------- Number of hostages: None Here it is, the ultimate showdown! Now, let's cut the small talk and do this! The Green Goblin's henchmen will defend him to the end. I suggest you take them out fast. After you've killed a few of them The Green Goblin will appear out of nowhere. This is actually a pretty easy fight. Just wait for the Goblin to come at you and hit him. Don't stop attacking until he dies. When his health is about half gone he will start throwing pumpkin bombs. Try to avoid them. Great! All the hostages have been rescued and the night is saved. ======================================= 8. Q: Is there anything else to do besides saving hostages? A: No. Only the last stage is a little bossfight. Q: Can I use this guide anywhere I want? Hints and tips ======================================= Here, you can find some tips I discovered when I was playing the game: Avoid damage - When you fight a thug keep a small distance among him to avoid getting hit. That doesn't mean that he will not receive damage. Walk through enemies - Keep running to get pass enemies. Green Goblin's worst nightmare - When you fight The Green Goblin, don't stop attacking. That way, you will not get hit. ======================================= 10.
