The Pegasos Rider blazed across the sky from the Mountains Of Darkness and snatched my sister as we slept peacefully. The only way to the mountains, and to my sister, is through the magically sealed dungeon on the northeast side of our village. I am her only hope. I must save her..." ----------------------- C: |What Is Fantasy Warrior| ----------------------- Fantasy Warrior is an action adventure game for the Mobile Phone, which is about a young man who must go on a quest to find his sister. He gets help from a Wise Old Man, but he's not as kinda as he makes himself out to be. This is the first game in this very small series. The game is extremely short and can be completed in 20 minutes at the most. Still, a fun little game if you're ever bored. ^_^ ---------------------- D: |About This Walkthrough| ---------------------- Several times throughout the walkthrough I will probably repeat myself. A few times would possibly be necessary, such as a Boss guide, as well as a few other things. Sometimes I do this without even realizing it, and sometimes I do it to make it easier for people to find what they are looking for on this walkthrough. This guide, like others, is described on how I played/beat the game. You have your methods as do I. This is just my way of doing it. I hope this helps out in anyways possible. --------------------- E: |Control Configuration| --------------------- This is the basic control for the game for the overworld: '1' BUTTON = Walks in a northwest direction '2' BUTTON = Walks in a southwest direction '3' BUTTON = Does nothing '4' BUTTON = Does nothing '5' BUTTON = Use items '6' BUTTON = Does nothing '7' BUTTON = Brings up Inventory Screen '8' BUTTON = Does nothing '9' BUTTON = Walks in a southeast direction '0' BUTTON = Walks in a northeast direction '*' BUTTON = Switches items '#' BUTTON = Brings up map You can also use the directional pad above the '2' BUTTON to walk north, west, south or east. Now, if you happen to be playing this on your computer (via emulator), you will be using the Numpad mostly. You can also use the arrow keys to move. Here are the basic controls for that: '1' BUTTON = Brings up Inventory Screen '2' BUTTON = Does nothing '3' BUTTON = Walks in a southeast direction '4' BUTTON = Does nothing '5' BUTTON = Use items '6' BUTTON = Does nothing '7' BUTTON = Walks in a northwest direction '8' BUTTON = Walks in a southwest direction '9' BUTTON = Does nothing '0' BUTTON = Walks in a northeast direction '/' BUTTON = Brings up map '#' BUTTON = Switches items You can also use the ARROW KEYS to walk north, west, south or east. You can also use your mouse to press the various buttons on the keypad (on the emulator). ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------- SECTION 2: |WALKTHROUGH| ----------- ---------------------- A: |Before The Walkthrough| ---------------------- 1. When you start off this game, your stats will be Stamina 8/8 Attack 4/9. Your stamina is your health which can not be upgraded. Your attack can be upgrade five times by learning new Sword Techs (making it out at Attack 9/9). Each time you upgrade your attack, you will become stronger. 2. When battling monsters, find one on the overworld, go up to it and you will be in a battlefield, where you could possibly fight up to multiple enemies at once. To fight, simply run into the monster which will cause damage. After enough hits they will be defeated. Of course if you get hit yourself you will take a little damage, so be careful. If you leave the battlefield, you will lose 1 HP but you will regain 2 HP when you defeat the enemies in battle, so keep this in mind. However you will not gain anything from battles, so just avoid fighting. 3. And as always I have made a map for this game, so refer to it incase you get lost ^_^. --------------------------------- B: |Area 1 - The Short Journey Begins| --------------------------------- ITEMS: Healing Plant, Sledgehammer, Sword Tech #1 TASK #01 - GETTING STARTED: Here we go, the micro adventure begins here, right at your home! Your character wonder if some of the villagers know anything about his sister, then explains to you how to use the map as well as switching and using items. With that in mind, from your house go east to the next screen. Over here, you will see more houses and people. By talking to them, you will learn of various things. Starting with the lady on the far left, she's upset because her child is lost (which we will deal with soon enough). The guy nearby talks about an Wise Old Man who lives in the south, who might help you find your sister. Continuing going east, another womam talks about how she would love to get married, but the only man who would marry her is her fiance, the blacksmith, who doesn't like anyone. A little bit east of that is the blacksmith who tells you to see a nearby man who will tell you of the legend of the valley. Just east of that you can go to the next screen which you will see Mira The Healer, which will heal your wounds from battle. Still on the current screen however, there are a couple kids, one telling you to beware of the monsters, and another who gives a hint about the lost child's location. Okay that's all out of the way, now, from where the kids are, head south a bit to find a Small Gremlin. Where it is, head left to find a ladder. Go in the ladder to find a man, and he will tell you about the legend of the valley. He tells you about a Demonlord named Devin (kinda unoriginal for a villians name), and how he terrorized the valley. Four wizards have sealed him away. No one has seen him, so who knows if the legend is true. He then says that maybe the Pegasos Rider had something to do with it? Oh well, so let's leave here, and back on the overworld, this is the problem, you have no idea where to go next. TASK #02 - FINDING THE SLEDGEHAMMER: For starters, head east then south until you reach a long row of trees. From there, head southwest following the trees (you'll see more Small Gremlins) and you will be taken over to the next screen. Continue going west and southwest (Zombies will be here) and you will see a lone house with a man. Talk to him and he will say how he's not feeling very well, and tells you to find a plant which will cure his illness, and you will be rewarded for it. With that, head back to the east/northeast to the previous screen. Once back here, simply head north and northwest and you will be back one screen west. You are now in a different part of this screen. Simply head northeast, then east until you get to the west wall of trees. Small Gremlins and Zombies are here, so avoid or fight them if you wish, then once you get to the wall, head south and soon east until you find a ladder. Enter the ladder to find the Healing Plant and some guy. Collect the Healing Plant and talk to the guy who will upgrade your attacking power (making this Sword Tech #1). Now leave here, and head back to the guy who was sick. To get there, head west, north, then east and south east. On this next screen, go south and southwest going back to the previous screen. Once here, head east/southeast to find him. Once you do, equip the Healing Plant and give it to him. He will start to feel better, and will give you the Sledgehammer! This is a very important item to help you get through the remaining of the game. So now let's put this useful item to some good use! ----------------------------- C: |Area 2 - Collecting The Items| ----------------------------- ITEMS: Sword Tech #2, Sword Tech #3, Sword Tech #4 Mushroom, Green Gem, Red Gem, Bow Of Love TASK #03 - THE WISE OLD MAN: Now begins the longest part of the game (which isn't that long at all). Remember that Wise Old Man that the guy from the beginning of the game talked about? Well it's time to go find him. So with the Sledgehammer in your possession, head east north/east to the next screen. Once here, follow the lower path of tree east/northeast, avoiding or fighting any Small Gremlins or Zombies that you see, and soon you will be one screen over. Upon entering here, you will see a couple rocks at the end of the brown path. Equip your Sledgehammer, and destroy the rocks (remember you must hit each of them 3 times to destroy them. Now with them gone, head through there and follow the path southwest. Zombies will be around, and so will Cyclops, and some of them may be unavoidable. Once you made it to the southwest corner of the path, head west to the next screen. On here, head west (and maybe south) a bit and you will find the Wise Old Man. Talk to him and he will tell you that he'll help you find your sister. To do so, the seal that keeps the evildoers from the village must be broken, and that the story of the Demonlord is nonsense. Of course this completely contradicts what you've been told already, but because your character must find his sister, he'll go along with what the Wise Old Man has said. Anyways, he tells you that he needs two gems, a silver ring and a mushroom, in order to break the seal and to gain access to the Mountain Of Darkness. So that is the next mission. TASK #04 - QUEST FOR THE RED GEM: So now we shall begin the quest of finding these four items that are needed. First off, we shall find the Red Gem. But before that, see the staircase just south of the Wise Old Man? Well go in it to find the Bow Of Love and another person who will upgrade your sword once again (making this Sword Tech #2). Now leave here, and once on the overworld, head north to the house and from there, go directly east to the next screen. Now this is a bit of a maze. From where you are, go east through the narrow gap. Many Cyclops are roaming around ready for you, some of which you may not be able to avoid. Once through the narrow gap, make your way north and east until you see an opening to the north. Go through it, then left and north again to find a ladder. A Red Demon will be up here, and you may have to fight it (there's two in the battle, so it might be tough). After that enter the ladder and you will see the first item, the Red Gem, as well as someone who will upgrade your sword again (making this Sword Tech #3). Back to the overworld for you! TASK #05 - QUEST FOR THE GREEN GEM: With one item down, it's time to find the other ones. For the next item, head south, then east a bit and then south, then east through the narrow opening, going over to the next screen. Here you will see lots of Cyclops and Zombies, so be ready. With that, head east a bit until you can go south. Do so, and go south and slightly to the west until you reach a path leading southeast. Follow that path all the way to the end, and you will see a Red Demon, Small Gremlin and a ladder. Fight the Red Demon and Small Gremlin if you want, and then go into the ladder. Down here you will find the Green Gem and a person who will upgrade your sword once again (making this Sword Tech #4). Get the Green Gem and it looks like we're halfway through this little mess. Now head back to the overworld. TASK #06 - QUEST FOR THE MUSHROOM: With two items found, it's time to go after the Mushroom. From the ladder, follow the path south, east, south and west, then west some more to the next screen. Watch out for all sorts of enemies in the way, some you may have to fight. On this next screen, continue going west, then north and west some more through the narrow gap from before. Once through that, instead of going to the next screen, go northeast through where you destroy the rocks from much earlier. Now continue going north, following the path of the east trees into a narrow pathway. Once through the trees you will be at the next screen. Once there, Zombies will come out to greet you. Also you should see a brown pathway on the green field. Follow the path south and then east and you will soon see a ladder, which you will enter. Inside here is a lone Mushroom, which is the third item you must find for the Wise Old Man. With that, head back to the overworld, and now you must find the final item! ----------------------------------- D: |Area 3 - Is The Journey Really Over| ----------------------------------- ITEMS: Lost Child, Flowers, Silver Ring, Sword Tech #5 TASK #07 - A SEMI-TEIDIOUS SIDE QUEST: Now before we go off finding the final item, we got a little sidequest to go on. It's not totally important, but if you have morals, it should be done. From where you are, head all the way north until you reach the mountain wall. You will see a gated cave, which you don't need to worry yourself about quite yet. Enemies along the way includes a Red Demon and a Cyclops. Once you get to the mountain wall, head west along the wall and you will soon be one screen over (another Cyclops might come out to play). On this next screen, continue going west alongside the mountain wall and you will be one more screen over. Once here, go west a bit more to see some rocks blocking a cave entrance. A Zombie might be here, so be ready for that. Equip your Sledgehammer, and bust down the rocks (remember, three hits each rock), and enter the cave. Inside the cave is a man who when you talk to him, will give you the final upgrade to your sword (making this Sword Tech #5). Now you are fully strong, so enemies shouldn't be that big of an issue. Leave the cave, and continue going west along the mountain wall to the next screen (Small Gremlins will be roaming around). Once there, continue going west to find some more rocks blocking a cave entrance. Use the Sledgehammer here as well and enter the cave. Remember that woman from the beginning of the game who was upset about her child missing, well guess who's in this cave! Now go up and get the Lost Child (who is apparently an item, according to your Inventory Screen *shrugs*) and leave this cave. Now head south then southeast, avoiding or fighting any Small Gremlins that are in your way. Now head east to the next screen and you will be back in the village. Equip the Lost Child (WTF?) and talk to the worried woman (the first one on the left). She will be so happy that you found her son, and for that, she will give you Flowers. So with those, head east a bit more to the woman who is engaged to the blacksmith. Equip the Flowers and give that to her, and, and she will think the blacksmith gave them to you to give to her. And well that's that for the side quest (kinda pointless huh *shrugs*). TASK #08 - QUEST FOR THE SILVER RING: Now back to our quest and to find that final item, which won't take any work at all. From where you are, head over to the blacksmith and equip the Bow Of Love. Play Cupid by using it on him, and he will instantly move over to his, now wife. Now go over to him and with him being happily in love, he will thank you for your help and give you the Silver Ring. Finally we have all four of the items that the Wise Old Man wanted! Now we must go find him. TASK #09 - BREAKING THE SEAL: Did you forget how to get to the Wise Old Man? Well if so, I'll guide you. Head south from the village and continue going south until you reach the brown path and follow it east. You will cross over to the next screen and once you do, follow the path south until you reach the end of it. Continue going south/southwest through here, and then west to the next screen. Over here, continue going west/southwest and you will be at the Wise Old Man. Now go up to him, and you must talk to him after each time you equip the items (doesn't matter what order you do this in). He will then tell you to meet him in the northeast corner, where the seal will supposedly be broken. To get there, head east to the next screen, then northeast a it to the brown path, then continue going north all the way until you reach the row of trees. Watch out for any enemy along the way. Now head east to the next screen. Once there, head north to the mountain wall and follow it east until you reach the Wise Old Man. Talk to him and he said he will open the gate to the cave and close it once you're in. TASK #10 - ENTERING THE MOUNTAIN OF DARKNESS: You are now inside the Mountain Of Darkness. Now despite what you see, this isn't that bad of a layout. Simply follow the path northwards up the zigzagged path. Once past that, you will then see a Red Demon. Fight or avoid, it's your choice. After that, continue going north, and you will see two paths to take. What you want is the right path as the left one leads to a dead-end. As for the blocked off section on the left, you can't get into it (would be interesting to see what's over there). Anyways, continue going northwards, and you will come across some Cyclops (you may have to fight them). After that, just go north a bit more and you will be taken to the top of the mountain. Once there, it will look rather familiar to your character. You will also see your sister, which you will go talk to. When talking to her, she said it was the Pegasos Rider who saved her, and was gonna help you, and that the Wise Old Man was really the Demonlord (great, Rento helped the Demonlord, just wonderful!). Now go and talk to the knight, who will say he is the Pegasos Rider. A small conversation will take place. Then you will get a final message, basically saying that even though you found your sister, you mistakenly helped the Demonlord, so you need to make right with what you did wrong. Also it will say the adventure continues onward with Fantasy Warrior 2. With that, I say congradulations on completing Fantasy Warrior for the Mobile Phone. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| ----------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------- SECTION 3: |IMPORTANT STUFF| --------------- ----- A: |Items| ----- This is a list of all the items in the game: 1. HEALING PLANT: Give this to a guy who is feeling rather ill, and he will give you the Sledgehammer. 2. SLEDGEHAMMER: Use this to smash rocks that are blocking your path. Trade the Healing Plant to get this. 3. RED GEM: One of the four items that you must give to the Wise Old Man. 4. BOW OF LOVE: Use it on the blacksmith and he will give you the Silver Ring. 5. GREEN GEM: One of the four items that you must give to the Wise Old Man. 6. MUSHROOM: One of the four items that you must give to the Wise Old Man. 7. SMALL GREMLIN (4 HP): Small blue creatures that move around at a medium pace. The weakest of all enemies. 2. ZOMBIES (4 HP): Black corpses that will track you down when attacking. Toughest of all enemies. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- SECTION 4: |IN CONCLUSION| ------------- -------------- A: |What's To Come| -------------- I honestly don't think much more can come out of this game. However, this FAQ is gonna be open for anyone to add their comments. ---------------- B: |PayPal Donations| ---------------- Like anyone would read this but something new I've been toying around with is the idea of taking donations. After making as many maps and FAQs as I have, it tends to be a big strain on my computer (I have a cheap-ass computer). So if you like any or all of my FAQs and maps, and wish to give a little something back, you can donate as much as you want to my PayPal account ^_^. Email me your donations at StarFighters76@comcast.net -------------- C: |Special Thanks| -------------- Personal Thanks To: Exo-Squad: For finding this game for me so that I can play it, map it and write for it, and because of his confidence and belief that I will be very successful at this stuff ^_^. On-line Thanks To: To GameFAQS: For hosting my walkthroughs, as well as many more ^_^. ----------- D: |Final Words| ----------- While trying to find something new to map out, I decided to check out some Mobile Phone games, and came across this. While Fantasy Warrior is a very short game, I found it to be rather interesting and fun. A simply storyline, with a twist. Then I played the two follow up games, which made the storyline even better, and rather wide open for any possibility. After playing the three games, I was instantly into it (which is rare for games I never heard of). So why an FAQ, well, seeing how simple and to the point the game is, I figure why not whip one up. I hope this walkthrough helps you out in any way possible. Ok, I'll make this quick and simple. This walkthrough is my work. This FAQ can only be hosted by GameFAQs.com, GameSpot.com, IGN.com and Neoseeker.com. Anyone else, well guess it will have to depend on my mood. You can use whatever info you want, so long as you give me credit and don't alter anything. I perfer you to email me at StarFighters76@hotmail.com if you're gonna do anything with this walkthrough. Failure to comply with this, and I will be mad, among other things. ;-). If you have questions, comments, or see something I may of missed, email me at StarFighters76@hotmail.com and tell me what it is. I will give you full credit for doing so.
