Your aim is to survive as long as possible, jumping from wagon to wagon, Killing Pigs, destroying Wooden boxes, collecting food, evading Metal boxes and the Boss Bunny, Jumping over Kamikaze bombs all in high speed action. PLAY THE GAME!!! Turtle Dash(TM) is a leisure game which requires you to only tap 2 points on the screen, The Blue one and the Red one. Lives 123 Score " Pause button /==========\ -|| CONTROLS ||---------------------------------------------------------------- \==========/ =============== The Blue button =============== The blue button on the bottom-left part of the screen is the JUMP button. Tap it to make the Turtle Jump, Tap again while in the air to perform a double jump. Hold the blue button while in air to make the Turtle glide, the character will normally continue to fall if the button is released. The Turtle can jump again after the double jump if and only if he destroys a Pig or a wooden box or collects a fruit. In this way, if you manage to hit each time, you can stay airborne as long as you like. Jumping is mostly used to destroy Pigs as they are most of the time in the air. While in the air, if you Press the Red button(the Dash Attack) you will move straight ahead for a few seconds depending on the obstacles you are facing. ============== The Red Button ============== The Red button on the bottom-right of the screen is the DASH ATTACK button. Tap the Red button to perform a Dash attack both wile on foot or airborne. Dash attack must be used to destroy Pigs and wooden boxes. But it cannot destroy the Metal Boxes or the Kamikaze bombs. The Boss Bunny which occasionally pops up cannot be destroyed by this move but the eggs fired by the Bunny can be destroyed by a well-timed Dash Attack. The duration of the Attack depends on the Obstacles you are facing, * If there are no obstacles it lasts for just a second * If there is a line of obstacles, like 10 pigs and 5 wooden boxes in a row. the Attack will continue till it destroys all of them, provided you hit the first Pig with the Attack, else you fail. * If there are a line of Items, the second point applies there. /===========\ -|| OBSTACLES ||--------------------------------------------------------------- \===========/ ========== WOODEN BOX ========== A standard, normal, stupid wooden box. It can be destroyed by the Dash Attack. The Turtle will be able to Double jump again if it is destroyed in the Air. You fail if you hit it without the Dash Attack. ========= METAL BOX ========= A standard, abnormal, hard Metal box. Hell. It cannot be destroyed. Your only choice is to avoid it or to lose a life. /===========\ -|| ENEMIES ||--------------------------------------------------------------- \===========/ === PIG === A Pig with tiny wings, it is the most common enemy type in the game. It can be anywhere on the screen (It has wings i.e. it can FLY!!) but are stationary. They can be destroyed using the Dash Attack. And like the wooden boxes, the turtle will be able to double jump after it destroys one. ========== BOSS BUNNY ========== This is an Evil Easter bunny who occasionally pops out in his Flying machine(?) which fires Eggs at you. He normally stays for about 7 seconds and fires 3 eggs. This guy cannot be destroyed as he stays on the right side of the screen, and you are on the left side. You'll lose a life if the Eggs hit you. But you CAN destroy the Eggs using the Dash Attack move. /================\ -|| SPECIAL EVENTS ||---------------------------------------------------------- \================/ ============= KAMIKAZE BOMB ============= These bombs hits the right end of the wagon and cannot be destroyed. It creates a firewall above it which the Turtle must avoid by using a double jump. Single jump seldom works. Note: The structure of the Kamikaze bombs differ in different versions. /=========\ -|| ITEMS ||----------------------------------------------------------------- \=========/ ==== FOOD ==== Little Red fruits which give you a bonus score which in-turn increases your overall score. Dash attack is not required to collect them. Note: In different versions there are different kinds of fruits. But the Red one is the standard one. You will have 3 lives during which you must try to score points by destroying Pigs and collecting Food, Continuous Kills will grant you a Combo point. The longer the Kill chain, The higher the Combo. Some enemies, items and obstacles increase their bonus points each time they are collected or destroyed, so follow order. You lose when you die thrice. Your score will be the sum of your 3 individual DASHes. ============= HOT SEAT MODE ============= The same rules as the Normal mode except that this is a 2 player mode. Player 1 is given 3 lives and Player 2 is given 3 lives. The one who scores highest in the given 3 lives wins. It'll make you score slower. * When the Boss Bunny pops up stick to the wagon- do not jump. But if you find a Metal box or a Kamikaze bomb on the way jump and repeatedly tap DASH so that you can destroy the Eggs. * Always, Always, Always avoid Metal boxes. They're the only thing that come in a bunch (and have you lose a life) * Tap Dash repeatedly to gain momentum. * While jumping from wagon to wagon, glide when you fall so that you can immediately DASH at the Pigs in the air (IF ANY) * Play often so that you'll come to know all the possible wagon structures and will be ready to face a particular wagon just as you see the first item pop up. * Try to get a good COMBO. 10 Pigs in a row. * Combo with Pigs score better than with Food items. * The wago with the Metal top will ALWAYS (I MEAN IT) have a Kamikaze Bomb at the end. So you should be ready for a Double-jump. * Never Dash before you see the obstacle, If you have a metal box ahead you fail. * Remember that you can double jump again if you destroy something airborne. * Aim for he Pigs, not the Food. They may give you a bonus but never the combo with the Pigs! Pigs Rock! * Practice'll make you perfect.
