When this first came out, many people were confused about how to work the Stones, and didn't understand that the LDoP that tells you how to align them is randomly generated each time you play. The whole point of the Stone Alignment is that it is a puzzle that you are meant to solve, using the LDoP to aid you. But seeing as you are reading this guide, that most likely means you don't want to actually use your brain to figure it out and just want quick answers. If you want to E-mail with things like "Your guide sucks" then send it to KSeid@webmail.Expression.edu, I'll probably delete them on sight though. ======================================================================= """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" 3 - STONES AND THE DIALOGUE OF PLATO ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ________ SUNSTONE -------- Parts of the Stone(Clock-wise): Rising Sun, Noon Sun, Setting Sun, Darkness Where you aquire it- Team path: You and Sophia will spook the hell out of Alian Trottier, causing him to run away, but leave his stone behind Wits path: After you save Trottier from his Nazi kiddnappers, you'll have to search the streets of Monte Carlo for the Sunstone(It's in a random place each time you play) Fists path: You'll find it in a hidden nook within the Dig Site in Algiers Things The LDoP say about it- Quote: "At many outposts, a Sunstone sufficed, if the morning light warmed the tall horns." What does it mean: Align the East Sea with the Setting Sun ======================================================================= """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" 4 - WHERE THE HECK YOU ACTUALLY USE THESE ----------------------------------------------------------------------- In Team and Fists path you'll use it at the Nazi dig site to either free Sophia or get your self past the machine gun wielding guard. In the Wits path you'll use it to gain the stone tablet at Thera. In all paths you'll use it to get into the Greater Colony. Remember that the SunStone will be in the same place it was at the dig site/Thera. In all paths you'll use it to escape the Greater Colony. Also remember that the SunStone and MoonStone will be aligned the same as when you entered the colony. Set up the Stones the same as you did inside the Greater Colony, only rotate them 180 degrees so that what ever was facing the Tall Horns is now facing South. You can't rely on the LDoP to tell you how to start the Colossus. Instead, while you are in the lava room you should notice a large diagram in the back round. This shows you the alignment of the Noon Sun, Full Moon, and Volcano needed to start the machine. ======================================================================= """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" 5 - CREDITS ----------------------------------------------------------------------- GameFAQs - For hosting this Aaron Jordan - Informed me that the West Sea should align with the Setting Sun, not the Darkness.
