This game can be enjoyed on both iOS and Android platforms – for both mobiles and tablets. It is, of course, too good and fun to play alone so MonsterX – Evolution has Chat and Battle systems that will allow players to play with their friends and make friends with other trainers. Though you may be ready to jump in after read this introduction, let’s go through this game guide! It will definitely help you master this game even faster. --------------------------------------------------- Miracon --------------------------------------------------- Miracon is the city of new trainers. It is where everyone first starts and is trained on the basic gameplay. Let’s have a look at detailed explanation of each menu and icon in this city as shown on the screenshot below. --------------------------------------------------- Main Menu (Clockwise) --------------------------------------------------- 1. Character Image Can be clicked to open and close menu bar, which contains the followings: --->[ Pet ] Here you can check Player info with Pets owned, Equipment and Babymate. For pet menu, you can upgrade your pet skills and for equipment menu, you can enhance and combine equipments after you reached particular quest. --->[ Item Bag ] Though it comes with 2 free slots, extra slots can be purchased using Gold or Crystal. --->[ Chat ] Can be clicked to open and close full-screen chat window that you can use for talking in the Server or to both PM and inside alliance. --->[ Mail ] Mails received from your friends or system can be checked and replied here. All rewards from system will also be listed and be able to claim here. --->[ Achievement ] Check different types of missions with conditions and their rewards and keep tracking which ones you haven’t done. --->[ Ranking ] See who are top players, where you and your pet, and other players with their pet ranked on the leaderboard, and who has the highest amount of booklet that show various types of monster the player killed. --->[ Setting ] Where you can turn in-game music and sound effect on/off. 2. Currently Available Mission Can be click to view mission details, rewards and your progress. 3. Following Players You can choose players you want to follow to hire their pets, challenge them in PvP fights or PM them. Here, you can also invite your friends to join MonsterX – Evolution by creating newbie code for your friends to redeem a gift pack. 4. Type Message This menu is a quick text typing bar for chatting in Server without opening the full-screen chat window. You can select chatting channel: G typing bar to chat in Server, W or whisper to PM, and A to chat within your Alliance. 5. Chat Window – Open to show messages that you chatted in the Server, PM and inside alliance. 6. Vigor Points/Daily Mission Points – Vigor points are generated from daily missions you achieved. Once you reached 30,50,100, and 125 Vigor points, you could shake mobile to randomise a reward item! --------------------------------------------------- Key Places in Miracon --------------------------------------------------- [ 1. Adventure ] This is like the city gate which connects player with the magical world outside the city. It leads you to the journey that you will face and fight with many new monsters, teach and train your pets on how real battles are like before competing with global players and seizing the top spot in ranking competition. --->[ Adventure Map ] Numbers of mystery destinations are waiting for you and your monster pets to take challenges and encounter monsters with different levels. Beat these monsters to collect booklets (except Heroic mode) and fight your way up to the most difficult level in the map, which is reserved for only true fighters! [ 2. Pet Center ] Let’s make the most out of your pets by taking them here! Start from hatching your pet companions, enhancing each quality using EHN Stones, developing them to the evolved powerful form. Inside Pet Center, you will find the followings: --->[ Hatching Room ] Bring monster eggs received from fights, lucky draws, battles or competition rewards here. Each egg requires different hatching time depending on a grade of the egg: Gold, Pink, Blue, Green, or White (the higher grade, the longer hatching time). --->[ Bookshelf ] Filled with helpful resources that give you detailed information of elements’ loss and win table, abilities of EHN Stones and pet combination method for EXP enhancement. --->[ Enhancement Room ] Enhancing each quality of your pets requires different EHN Stones. Each type of these EHN Stones also results in different success rate. --->[ Evolution Room ] Bring a pet that is ready to be developed here to reveal its next evolved form/level. This will require item specified in the condition. It is the process that allows you to see your pet’s details and development. --->[ Potential Room ] Enhance your pets’ active potential by feeding them with unhatched monster eggs. --->[ Combination Room ] Combine your other pets with your key/main pet you want to enhance by combining their EXP. [ 3. Store ] These are what will be found inside: --->[ General Store ] You will find Skill Enhancement book*2, raw materials for pet evolution, and AP potion in this section. --->[ Exchange Store ] Where you can exchange items received from events, missions or monsters with other items. --->[ EHN Stone Store ] One-stop-shop of EHN Stones ranging from junior level to supreme level. --->[ Skill Book Store ] Here, you will find pet upgrading items and rare skill books. --->[ Gashapon ] The only place you can find Gold monster eggs – and nowhere else in game! However, this all depends on your luck, else you may randomly receive Blue, Green or White monster eggs. [ 4. Dragon Slayer ] As 4 monstrous dragons will take turn to attack Miracon every day at the fixed time of 2 PM, 4 PM, 7 PM, and 9.30 PM, these are chances for players with courage to prove their battle skills. Those who earn ranks in the fight, their bravery will be hornoured with items and rewards. [ 5. Alliance ] Here, you will find a list of established Alliances. By joining an Alliance, a request must be sent and accepted by the president of the Alliance. You can also create your own Alliance, which will cost you some Gold coins. By creating an Alliance, Alliance’s members have privilege to enter a community area and a holy pool to make a wish and receive random item as well as Gold coins. [ 6. Auction House ] Keep your eyes on the Auction event details as each event has specific period, for your chance to bid and win your desirable items – something worth waiting for! [ 7. Training Ground ] Once you completed a mission and opened your very own Training Ground, you operate a little business by letting your friends accept your training service. The service fee is 200 Gold per pet for a training session but you will earn 180 Gold after taxes. [ 8. Arena ] There are 2 types of competitions in this Arena: --->[ Ranking Competition ] It rewards players with daily prizes depending on your ranking at the time of 8.30 PM. Your prizes will simply be sent to your mail box! --->[ Collected Point Competition ] This competition is divided into another 2 modes: Free-for-all mode and Limit mode. Free-for-all mode welcomes you to bring any pet types to join while Limit mode only allows specific pet types. --------------------------------------------------- **3** :{ Gachapon Egg Machine }: --------------------------------------------------- Although various Monster Eggs can be obtained from dropping items in many maps, this Gachapon system is another alternative choice for risk takers who seek for the legendary monsters. Gachapon Egg Machine gives lucky players a chance to earn the extremely rare Purple and Gold monsters that cannot be found anywhere else in the game or players may randomly receive Blue, Green or White monster eggs. --------------------------------------------------- Tips and How-tos --------------------------------------------------- There are 2 ways to use the Gachapon machine: 1.1 With Tarot Cards Each Gachapon randomisation requires 20 Tarot cards, with your chance to obtain a monster egg level Blue, Green, and White. This type of randomisation is also separated into other 3 categories including: [ Random Egg No.1 ] This will randomise General, Earth and Lighting egg types. [ Random Egg No.2 ] This will randomise Water, Fire and Spirit egg types. [ Random Egg No.3 ] This will randomise Wind, Plant and Psychic egg types. 1.2. With Crystal This method requires 1500 crystals in each randomization and it will enable your chance to earn a rare Purple or Gold egg, which cannot be found anywhere else in the game. This randomising method is divided into 3 catagories: "Prime Egg No.1", "Prime Egg No.2", and "Prime Egg No.3" Each of these will give you a chance to receive a different type of the rare Gold monsters. Along with an egg, radomising with Crystal will give you another special item called Dragon Tear. Once you collect the required amount of this item, you can trade them for pet eggs at the Exchange shop. --------------------------------------------------- **4** :{ Map Occupancy System }: --------------------------------------------------- Not only players can fight with monsters in the city, challenge other trainers or go on a journey and defeat new monsters in various maps but MonsterX – Evolution, but they can also maximise their gameplay experience by occupying maps! By conquering a map that has the Occupancy system available to use within the time limit and without other players defeating you, you will earn that map’s reward items. These items are also different in each map. --------------------------------------------------- Step-by-step guide in claiming your territory --------------------------------------------------- 1. Enter a location within a map and complete all levels of its normal stage, this will unlock the Heroic mode of the location. Click the dragon icon and play the much harder version of each level, which will also reward you with more EXP than the normal stage. 2. After defeated all monsters in every level of the Heroic mode, press the “Occupier” button at the bottom right of the screen. It will open the Occupier window. Here, pictures of various conquerors will be displayed. Press “Challenge Occupier” to attack them and to initiate your occupation. And... Tada! This map is yours!! To make everyone even more envious of you, your name will be recorded and displayed at the location in the map - inviting them to defeat for the spot (if they can)! 3. Dethrone the Occupier Of course, there will always be those who will try to overthrow the occupier. By following the same method listed above, they can attack by challenging a PvP battle. If the current occupier lost and got verthrown, he or she will earn rewards according to how long the map has been seized for. 4. Check Occupier’s Reward Each location in a map rewards an occupier with different amount of item prizes, which can be reviewed by clicking on the Treasure Chest icon at the bottom right of the Occupier screen. After holding the location for 6 hours, you will receive Tarot Cards or Gold coins. --------------------------------------------------- **5** :{ Pet Evolution System }: --------------------------------------------------- After reaching the level cap, each pet can be “Evolved” to transform, enhance their abilities and achieve higher skills. All you have to do are the followings: 1. Once your pet is ready, the system will notify you as the icon “!” at the bottom right of the screen. 2. Click on the icon“!” to enter the Pet Evolvement Room. Here, you will find the pet that can be evolved. Press “Evolve” to start the process. Firstly, the system will inform you about the materials required for evolvement of the selected pet (the amount or level of materials is various depending on a grade of the pet). Next, confirm the Evolvement Challenge – yes, more challenge for you! 3. By accepting the challenge, you are going to fight with the evolved form of your pet!! 4. Since it may not be so easy to defeat the more advanced evolved pet, we recommend you to enhance your equipments to strengthen your pet before this battle. 5. After you win the match, not only your pet can be evolved to the next form but you also have a chance to randomly receive the skill(s) of that form. 6. On the other hand, if you are not well prepared, you chance in losing the battle is higher resulting in the failure of the evolvement process and the loss of the required materials of that round. Though this evolvement challenge can be re-entered, you will need to buy or find those lost materials again. Lastly, once your pet has been evolved, its type or element may be changed. This means, planning carefully before adding a skill into your pet is essential because after the evolvement, the changes will affect an ability to use or add its previous skill. --------------------------------------------------- **6** :{ Pet Combination System }: --------------------------------------------------- After the Combination Room inside the Per Center is unlocked and you have been collecting loads of pets, you can bring a secondary pet to combine with your main pet by “feeding” it! This will enhance the main pet’s EXP while the secondary pet will just dis- appear. Below is the step-by-step guide: 1. Enter Pet Center in Micaron then click on the Combination Room 2. Pet combination window will be opened. Here, you will see all your pets (except those in the Training Ground) listed on the far right while there are two empty slots at the centre of the screen; the left slot is for your main pet and the secondary pet is on the right. 3. Drag and drop the pet you want to enhance its EXP into the left slot, then the secondary pet to the right. Press “Combine”. 4. A notification window will pop up and ask if you want to confirm the order although the secondary pet will be disappeared. It will also inform you about the main pet’s enhanced level after the combination. Tada!! This combination system is definitely highly recommended for players who want to level up their pets fast. Now, let’s train and increase the levels of your secondary pets by taking them to reinforce your main pet in battles! The higher level your secondary pet, the more enhancing EXP your main pet will gain. --------------------------------------------------- **7** :{ Potential }: --------------------------------------------------- “Potential” is another essential feature of pets that every trainer should be aware of. This number will be randomly added when each pet first hatched, meaning, every monster won’t have the same Potential even though they are the same type. These numbers define total times each pet can be enhanced in the Enhancement Room – the more, the merrier! The unlocked “Potential Room” When you used up your pet’s Potential or when the number is getting low, there are 2 ways, which have to be done in the Potential Room to increase the number: 1. By feeding the pet with monster eggs Simply place unused monster eggs to the empty slots. As you guys know, eggs are good sources of nutrition! When the gauge is filled, Potential will be increased. 2. By randomising Natural Potential through Exercise When a pet first hatched, the system will randomly generate its natural Potential value. To later increase this value or number through exercise, 500 Crystal points is required for each randomistion. To successfully randomise the increased Potential, the new Potential number has to be higher than the natural Potential, meaning, this method is hard to achieve for monsters with very high natural Potential. If the randomisation is successful, the postnatal Potential will be added and the total Potential will be increased. However, if the random Potential is lower, the process will be failed without any change to the main Potential and 500 Crystals were used up. --------------------------------------------------- **8** :{ Pet Status Enhancement }: --------------------------------------------------- Pet’s main status can be enhanced by EHN Stone, which is divided into 4 ranks: Junior, Secondary, Senior and Top ranks. These ranks define the success rate of the enhancement. EHN Stone is separate into 4 ranks: Junior, Secondary, Senior, and Supreme [ Junior EHN Stone ] 40% chance to increase 1 value for main status. [ Medium EHN Stone ] 60% chance to increase 1 value for main status. [ Senior EHN Stone ] 80% chance to increase 1 value for main status. [ Supreme EHN Stone ] 100% chance to increase 1 value for main status. -------------------------------- Tips and How-tos -------------------------------- 1. The status enhancement can be performed at the Pet Center, in the “Enhancement Room”. 2. Choose a pet you want to enhance from your pet list at the far right of the screen. You can view each pet status before selecting one for the enhancement. 3. Click on the pet’s portrait and hold to view main status graphs and its grade. 4. Choose a status you want to enhance and begin the process by clicking the EHN icon. 5. This will open a window that displays current information of the chosen status, numbers of EHN Stone and Potential you have. Since higher EHN Stone rank results in the higher success rate of the enhancement, you can upgrade EHN Stone in the “Combine EHN Stone” menu. 6. When acquired enough EHN Stone, choose the stone type you wish to use and press “Enhance” to enhance the status. In the successful enhancement, not only your status is enhanced but you may also receive some rewards! --->[ Please note: ] The Potential always deceases in every enhancement process regardless of its success or failure. 7. For players who want to try setting different core strength for your pets, you can click on the “Reset” button to return all status and Potential to the beginning. This requires 500 Crystals. --------------------------------------------------- **9** :{ Equipment and Enhancement }: --------------------------------------------------- Once players reach the specified level, they can unlock the equipment menu. Here, players can equip themselves with various equipments. Each of the equipments has its status that helps enhance abilities of your pets and all of them can be upgraded using EHN Stone. --------------------------------------------------- Equipment --------------------------------------------------- The equipment can only be obtained from defeating the last monster in Heroic mode in map level 20 or more. This gives you a chance you to earn 1 equip- ment in each round. There are 5 wearable items that can be equipped including Hat, Gloves, Dress/Suit, Necklace, and Ring. Each of them is also divided into 5 levels by colours: White, Green, Blue, Purple, and Gold. Each equipment status has an effect to different types of pet depending on an element symbol that specified in the equipment detail. For instance, in the picture below, this equipment’s status will effect only on Fire monster pets when trainers put it on. --------------------------------------------------- Equipment Enhancement --------------------------------------------------- Your equipment’s status can be increased or enhanced by simply following these steps: 1. Click to select an item you want to enhance, then click the “Enhance” button. 2. There are 2 types of resources you can use for the Enhancement; EHN Stones or Crystals. 2.1. By using EHN Stones, each type of equipment will require different levels of EHN Stone and these differences affect the success rate of the Enhance- ment. Each enhancement requires 1 EHN Stone and some Gold coins and the higher level you would like to enhance, the more Gold coins are required. 2.2. By using Crystals, which is such a peace of mind, it gives you 100% success rate of the Enhancement. --------------------------------------------------- Enhancement success rate by EHN Stone levels --------------------------------------------------- EHN Stone is separated into 4 levels: Junior, Secondary, Senior, and Supreme [ Junior EHN Stone ] 40% chance to increase 1 value for main status. [ Medium EHN Stone ] 60% chance to increase 1 value for main status. [ Senior EHN Stone ] 80% chance to increase 1 value for main status. [ Supreme EHN Stone ] 100% chance to increase 1 value for main status. 3. In case the enhancement is failed, players will not lose the equipment and any status won’t be decreased. Only EHN Stones and Gold coins will be deducted in every enhancement process. --------------------------------------------------- Element Forging --------------------------------------------------- At the beginning, each piece of equipment comes with only 1 natural element. However, you are able to easily add a second element into it by forging the equipment with another piece of secondary equipment that contains the element you wish to add. Here is the Forging process’ detailed instruction: 1. Click to select an item you desire to forge, then click “Forge” button. 2. Equipment Forging window will be opened. Here, you can select secondary equipments you want to sacrifice. Then, pick a spending option from using Gold coins or Crystals, which have an equal success rate. After forging the element, the equipments will disappear whether this succeeded or not. --->[ Please note: ] The success rate depends on level of secondary equipment(s) you chose. - Green level equipment gives 55% success rate - Blue level equipment gives 70% success rate - Purple level equipment gives 85% success rate - Gold level equipment gives 100% success rate 3. If the forging process is successful, the pri- mary equipment will have 2 elements and this will increase status of those pets that have the same element as the equipment. --->[ Note: ] You can also add 3, 4, or more elements to your equipments. In doing so, secondary equipment(s) you choose need to have the same amount of elements as the primary one. --------------------------------------------------- Element Recasting --------------------------------------------------- For those who got high level equipment, which its element(s) does not match your pets’, you can recast for a new random element by following these steps: 1. Click to select an item you want to recast, then click “Recast” button. 2. Element window of that equipment will be opened and displayed all elements it contains. Note: If you want to recast more than 1 element in one piece of equipment, you will need to start the recast process again for each element as it can only recast 1 element at a time. 3. Each random recast requires 200 Crystals and you can keep recasting the changed element till you get your desired element. --------------------------------------------------- **10** :{ Stars Tower }: --------------------------------------------------- Another interesting place in MonsterX – Evolution that all professional trainers can’t afford to miss is the Stars Tower, the place that you collect skill books and various levels of pet’s skill upgrading scroll that can be used for enhancing and strengthening your pets. Stars Tower is located in the Westland map. By entering Stars Tower in the early gameplay, all of its maps will still be locked. To unlock these maps, you need to defeat all monsters in the Heroic mode of each map. Then, you will be able to start playing “Treasure Hunt” on each floor of the Tower. However, playing Treasure Hunt in MonsterX-Evolution is no piece of cake! Each battle allows you to use only 1 pet and requires specific amount of Tarot cards. Make sure you pick the strongest pet because you will have to fight with 15 monsters – yes, 1:15 battle!!! The rewards from this battle depend on the number(s) of monsters you defeat so the more monsters you kill out of 15 monsters, the bigger rewards you will receive. Once pressing “Treasure Hunt”,the 1:15 battle begins! Rewards the you can obtain from the battle including random skill upgrading scrolls and different levels of treasure chests for skill randomisation. --->[ Please note:] One Monster can only join 1 battle per day and later on, the selected monster will be locked. --------------------------------------------------- **11** :{ Battle Arena System }: --------------------------------------------------- The Battle Arena is the place for fighters who seek glory and fame! It is where all brave challengers compete with one another to become No.1 – the true Champion. Any players can simply enter the arena after they completed all dungeon missions, reached the Meteor Lake map and proved their qualification by defeating the vicious crocodile boss, Crock. After defeated Crock, the Arena will be unlocked and now, you can get ready for the battle!!! Battles in the Arena are divided into 4 categories: 1. Ranking Match which rewards players everyday according to their ranking reported at 20:30 of that day. The reward will be sent directly to your inbox. --------------------------------------------------- Ranking Match Rules --------------------------------------------------- - Participants have chances to join 7 battles per day and can only challenge other players who are in higher ranks, but not higher than 9 ranks. The chances to challenge other players will increase when you have VIP status or you can spend 300 Crystals to increase your chances. However, you won’t receive additional rewards from chances purchased by the Crystals and the system will reset all numbers of chances everyday at 00:00. - The system will give out daily rewards according to your rank at 20:30. - Players who ranked 1st – 5th will be presented in the “Hall of Fame”, which other players can click to view their information about their status, pets, and skills. 2. Point Contest which offers two submodes; Free- for-all and Limit modes. Free-for-all mode allows players to bring any types of monsters to the battles, while Limit mode allows only certain types of monsters. Players can also create teams of pets for battles by clicking on the “Form Team” button without going back to the Character menu on main menu bar. --------------------------------------------------- Point Contest Rules --------------------------------------------------- - One battle Ticket permits 3 battle rounds and Points from the battles will be given depending on numbers of wins or losses. These Points can only be earned after all 3 rounds are completed. - The maximum number of the battle tickets is 5 and once players reach this limit, they will no longer receive any ticket from their journey. - There is time limit displayed on the Point Contest arena’s window. All rewards will be sent to players’ mail boxes after this duration is over. --->[ Exception: ] For the first player who enters the Point Contest will exclusively gain additional victory/winning points as follows: 1st person = 3 wins, 2nd person = 2 wins, 3rd person = 1 win.
