You can post what's missing in this FAQ. If you don't see this topic, simply create one that looks like it. I will read it. ========================================================================= [01]: Controls and basics ========================================================================= The controls are simples, this game plays like the old snake (not the one from MGS, :P). You can simply go up, down, right and left, and your group will follow you. I will call your group a "train" since like a train, they can only move like you did. You can use powerups at the start of any level (see the list in the shop/powerups section). And you can retry a level if you die. The price is paid in coins for retries and powerups. Each retry to buy double the price for the next, as long as you don't return to the main screen. When you beat a level for a 1st time, you gain a new character. You can see the list in the characters section. And your train max number of members is the number of characters you've unlocked in total. ========================================================================= [02]: Levels ========================================================================= There is 15 levels in total, and they have a specific number of enemies to kill on each. They also give one specific character when you beat it. #--NAME-----------------#Kill---#KillTotal--Character---Class 01: FOREST 1 15 15 Boomey Pirate Sharpshooter 02: GRAVEYARD 1 30 45 Bones Skeletal Warrior 03: SEWER 1 45 90 Gizmo Explosive Manufacturer 04: COURTYARD 1 60 150 Uther Champion of the People 05: CASTLE 1 75 225 Arcane Lightning Mage 06: DUNGEON 1 90 315 Slash Blind Assassin 07: THE DEPTHS 1 105 420 Ember Rogue Demon 08: FOREST 2 120 540 Faenel Warden Spirit 09: GRAVEYARD 2 135 675 Ezora Practitioner of Dark Art 10: SEWER 2 150 825 Gurzog Orc Warlord 11: COURTYARD 2 165 990 Kishi Ronin Assassin 12: CASTLE 2 180 1170 Hydra Princess from the South 13: DONGEON 2 195 1365 Bolas Elemental Monk ... This game have an infinite cycle, from FOREST to THE DEPTHS. It's the same level, with always 15 more enemies in each level. The levels are named with a number that goes up each cycle. Ex: FOREST 1, then FOREST 2, etc. ========================================================================= [03]: Characters ========================================================================= Ulrich Description: Ulrich is an outcast knight who fights for justice. He is heavily armored and attacks with slow, broad sweeps of his sword. Levels (stars) 1: +25% Attack Rate 2: +25% Armor 3: +50% Armor Already unlocked at the start of the game. Levels (stars) 1: +25% Arrow Speed 2: +50% Armor 3: +50% Attack Range Already unlocked at the start of the game. Pros: She can attack from a long distance. Levels (stars) 1: +25% Attack Rate 2: +50% Armor 3: +50% Attack Range Already unlocked at the start of the game. Pros: He can attack 360° around hi, and the fireball also damage near enemies. Cons: He has a weak defence, so you need to protect him. He is not good as a second character, since the second is the most attacked one. Boomey Description: Boomey is a pirate and sharpshooter. He has medium armor and a long range musket that is slow to reload. Levels (stars) 1: +50% Attack Range 2: +50% Attack Damage 3: +50% Bullet Speed Pros: Can attack all the screen (and even more), and is really strong. Cons: He misses a lot of his shots, and he needs to face the enemy. Also, he is really slow before the 3rd star. Bones Description: Bones is a skeletal warrior, no one knows why he fights. He is lightly armored but is quick to slash with his large sword. Levels (stars) 1: +50% Armor 2: +25% Attack Damage 3: +50% Attack Rate Pros: Large area of damage in front of him, and pretty strong attacks. Cons: Not a good armor, even with the 50% from the second star. Gizmo Description: Gizmo is an inventive gnome and amateur explosives manufacturer. He is lightly armored, and hurls bombs that make quite a bang. Levels (stars) 1: +25% Blast Radius 2: +50% Attack Range 3: Explosion on Death Pros: Extremely powerful and useful to kill masses of enemies. Cons: Light armor makes him a bad 1st or 2nd. He is really good, anywhere else in the line. Uther Description: Uther is a champion of the people. He is heavily armored and strikes at his enemies with his long lance. Levels (stars) 1: +25% Attack Rate 2: +25% Armor 3: Heal on hit Pros: Really good armor, and a long and strong attack. Perfect for 2nd in the line, as his attacks generally kills the enemies in front of the leader, and since the 2nd gather the most hits if you evade correctly. [3rd star seems like a big deal, I still haven't bought it yet to tell you more about it] Cons: No as useful in the middle, as his attacks only works in front of him. Arcane Description: Arcane hails from the mountains where he builds up his magic. He is very fragile, but fires powerful balls of lightning. Levels (stars) 1: +50% Armor 2: +50% Attack Range 3: +100% Attack Rate Pros: Extremely powerful attacks, 360° around him. Fast attacks. Cons: Very low armor, and his attacks are somewhat slow. Slash Description: Slash was born blind. He is lightly armored but uses his heightened senses to strike with his fast daggers. Levels (stars) 1: +50% Armor 2: +100% Armor 3: +50% Attack Damage Pros: When you get a double attack speed buff on the battle, he gets really powerful and can fend for himself in the hordes of enemies. Cons: Low armor (better with the 2nd star) and weak without the attack buff. Ember Description: Ember is a rogue demon from the depths. He has medium armor and sends out a shockwave of flames when enemies are near. Levels (stars) 1: +25% Armor 2: +25% Attack Rate 3: +25% Attack Damage Pros: Powerful attack that target everyone around him at once. Perfect for a second or 3rd in the line, but also perfect near the end, since he'll defend you or the rest of the line with good success. Cons: Very slow attacks, even after the second star. Faenel Description: Faenel is a warden spirit of the forest. She has medium armor, and conjures floating balls of energy to direct against foes. Levels (stars) 1: +50% Armor 2: +50% Missile Speed 3: Root on Hit Pros: OK character, nothing more. [I still haven't bought the 3rd star, but it could be a game changer] Cons: The second star is not that helpful as it only gets more hits. Ezora Description: Ezora is a practitioner of dark arts. She wears a medium bone armor, and conjures bones to hurl against her enemies. Levels (stars) 1: +50% Armor 2: +100% Attack Rate 3: Heal on Hit Pros: Good armor for a mage that can attack 360°, and powerful attack. [I haven't bought the 3rd star yet, but seems very promising] Cons: Extremely slow missile speed. She misses a big part of her attacks. Gurzog Description: Gurzog is an Orc warlord. He is heavily armored and swings an axe in each hand. Levels (stars) 1: +25% Attack Rate 2: +50% Attack Damage 3: +50% Armor Pros: When you get a double attack speed buff on the battle, he gets really powerful and can fend for himself in the hordes of enemies. He is good in the middle of the line, where he can defend the center. Really good armor. Cons: Slow attacks and not powerful enough to kill in one shot. He could be a good second, but I would prefer him around the middle instead, as he cannot kill in one shot if an enemy appear in front of the leader. Kishi Description: Kishi is a ronin assassin from the far east. He is only lightly armored but hurls rapid fire shuriken at his targets. Levels (stars) 1: +100% Armor 2: +200% Armor 3: +100% Attack Range Pros: He can attack from a long distance, and get a good armor after the second star. Cons: He only attack in from of him, so you need to change direction often (doing a zigzag), so he can attack even if you are not facing an enemy. Hydra Description: Hydra is a princess from the south and has the power to manipulate water. She has medium armor, and fires bolts of ice. Levels (stars) 1: +75% Armor 2: +100% Attack Rate 3: Freeze on Hit Pros: Strong armor, excessively powerful attacks that can target enemies 360° around her. Her bolts of ice are fast and target enemies even at a long distance. She is a perfect main character, but can be in any positions as well. [I still haven't bought the 3rd star, but it looks extremely promising] Cons: She can miss the enemy. Bolas Description: Bolas is an elemental monk from the eastern planes. He is lightly armored & shoots a spinning blast of energy that explod- es on impact. Levels (stars) 1: +100% Armor 2: +25% Attack Damage 3: +50% Bullet Speed Pros: His bullets can hits multiples foes at the same time. In fact, they explodes and target almost as large as the bomber. He is extremely effective, especially with the speed buff. In your train, he perfectly fit the 3rd or 4th in the line. He can't be the second (low armor), but he's perfect for the character just after, as he can miss the target, and still hit it. It's a big difference. He can almost be your main character. Cons: He only attack in from of him, so you need to change direction often (doing a zigzag), to attack all enemies. ========================================================================= [04]: Shop/powerups and BUFFS ========================================================================= POWERUPS (SHOP) You can upgrade different powerups. (This can be used as many times as you want, for 1 token each time). ========================================================================= [05]: General Tips ========================================================================= - Start by spending your money in the shop. The boost you get from the powerups are enormous, and lets you conquer more levels. - Then upgrade all characters to level 1, this will keep them alive. The level bonuses stays even if it's not your main character. - You can use powerups at the start of any battle, and those will last and any next battles on the same playthrough. Use them well. - Every enemy you kill gives you 2 exp points for your main character. Those "exp points" lower the price of the next upgrade by the same amount of gems. So play with the characters you want to level. - STAY AWAY FROM THE RATS, they always try to suicide in the middle of your train. - Never form a long train in line. Try to move a lot so enemies have to face many characters of your team at once. This also prevent them from killing the people at the center of your train. ========================================================================= [06]: Strategies by levels ========================================================================= - The circles strategy: Instead of making a line with your train, simply move in circles, or try to stack your train a bit, doing "S" and changing directions often. The goal is that you always have a lot of your team at the same place, where they can all attack the enemies at the same time. Your train becomes more powerful this way. Also, never pass between two enemies. Try to be more defensive than offensive, unless you have a good bonus (ice, attack, bomb, etc). You can get an example of the strategy on the video section just under this. - Higher levels: Try to be as offensive as you can (still using the circles strategy, but more offensively a bit). You should try to run directly into spawning enemies, so you kill them before they appear. This is really important, as it will clear the enemies before they can actually attack you or kill you. Try to move fast (if possible using the speed buff) and kill those who appear. You'll see that if you can keep up, the map will have almost no enemies in it (well, compared to what it would normally have). - My Videos: I made some videos about my strategies. They are not in a specific order, but they all show good strategies to take. I will add more over time. Make sure you have at least 30 coins. You can watch ads to get more, you also get coins from the arena (make sure you participate each day) if you are in the 30 best of your guild. If you are alone in it, find a guild where they are less than 30, and enough to be ranked well. You're gonna have more coins each day (we are 4 in mine, and we make around 10 coins per day). Take all the buffs you can (attack, health and shield as a minimum). The Speed buff is optional. It's better but it can be hard to navigate with the speed, so it depends on your talent with it. It took me a while to get used to it, and I can't say I'm never making big mistakes with it. Then do the easy levels (those you almost never lose a character), and use the SKIP buff to skip the hardest levels. It's only one coin to skip a level, and you get a new character for your line at the same time! You can skip till you are one level before the max level you have reached. You do this one, then you pay coins to get all your characters back till you are maxed. When you are in the level, make sure you use the circles strategy. (see the strategies by level part of my FAQ for more informations) Make sure you kill most of the "Appearing" enemies before they are fully colored, so they die before they can touch or attack or kill you. This way you should be able to get all characters, and/or achieve new levels. PS: This game doesn't seem like it at first, but it's all about strategies. Voila. I hope you liked the FAQ, even if it's pretty small. I searched for one but couldn't find it anywhere, so I thought I could make one. ^_^
