My Sweet Prince is the fourth of the Shall We Date visual novel series by NTT Solmare. The story follows a standard visual novel adventure format, where you, as the protagonist, choose options throughout a storyline to aim for the best ending with whomever you choose. The app itself costs $4.99, including Lambert, Chezem, and Nagit. There are two additional character packs, costing $6.99 each: Alvah and Jun Melchiorre and Ivan All controls are via the iPod/iPhone/iPad's touch screen, where you select options over the course of the story to try and aim for a particular ending. Although you can exit the game and return to it at any time, there are no backup save files, so you have to start again if you get an unwanted ending, which I am going to be doing A LOT (thank god there's a skip button). Any other information is explained in the options section from the main menu. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CHARACTER INFORMATION [CHR] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~YOURSELF~ You play a girl who finally got off work to go on a holiday... Only to have your luggage stolen! Instead, you pick up a bracelet which apparently gives the holder the right to rule the country you are now in. Of course, because you don't want to rule, the king presents you with his sons and tells you to give the bracelet to whomever you see as fit to reign over the country. Now you are in for one big headache. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bachelors ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~LAMBERT~ Prince 2 Age: 26 179 cm 'A haughty prince with no eye for the common folk.' Lambert comes off as proud and cold, although if you're lucky he'll share a rare smile with you. As the prince who was always most likely to gain the throne, he spends a lot of time working on royal documents or contributing to public affairs. He highly values tradition and class, but if a commoner like you proves yourself, he might just open up. ~CHEZEM~ Prince 5 Age: 20 176 cm 'Wise, but inexperienced? Intelligent and taciturn.' Chezem is a generally quiet, calm person, happiest when learning new things. He will only talk or pay attention to subjects which interest him, but otherwise you are more likely to find him engrossed in some book or another. However, having a calm exterior doesn't mean he that there aren't a few sensitive spots you might want to watch out for. ~NAGIT~ Prince 6 Age: 16 157 cm 'The idol of his brothers. Always acting tough.' The youngest of the six princes, Nagit is always trying to live up to his brothers. Although very cute, he often tries to act mature, and gets easily annoyed if you treat him like a kid. He has varied interests and is skilled in several areas, but if you stay with this little prince, you can get caught up in some sticky situations. ~ALVAH~ Prince 3 Age: 23 178 cm 'Wild and naughty mood maker.' Alvah is friendly, cheerful, energetic and spontaneous. If you let him, he'll drag you everywhere, and he may seem a little forward, but no matter what you do, you're bound to enjoy your time with him. Usually seen with a giant grin plastered across his face, you begin to wonder what reason there is behind those rare occasions when he doesn't smile. ~JUN~ Prince 4 Age: 23 178 cm 'He gets what he wants!! Wicked and ambitious.' Jun is your resident sadistic, ambitious psychopath. Just kidding, but seriously. Multi-talented and intelligent, he wants the best for the country, which of course, is himself. He's not entirely above using underhanded, often very forceful, tactics to achieve his goal. It can take a lot to thaw out this prince's frozen heart, but underneath, he's probably a sweet guy. ...Right? ~MELCHIORRE~ Prince 1 Age: 30 182 cm 'Every girl is my lover. This prince spreads the love.' Melchiorre must have learnt from his father, because he is one FORWARD prince. He's got some heavy player tendencies and overwhelming moves. Despite being first in line to the throne (although the bracelet kinda nullifies that), he has no interest in the responsibility of the crown. What's this guy's secret? Outlast his hot-cold, hot-cold interactions and find out. ~IVAN~ Butler Age: 40 180 cm 'Loyal retainer of the royal family. A stuffy butler.' Ivan is the faithful, mature butler. Loyal and traditional, he insists that everything be done with the appropriate amount of etiquette. He takes a bit of a 'do as the Romans do' approach, so you can expect a lot of stringent training from him as you adapt to palace life. But behind his seriousness, he seems to be hiding some things... For example, where the hell does the guy sleep?! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Others ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~TAMIR~ Description: The current king. Famous for being a womanizer. He has a harem of 99 (!) ladies. ~FALITNA~ Description: Minister Balam's daughter. The fiancee of whichever prince becomes the next king. ~BALAM~ Description: A minister. You'll know when you've chosen the right one if sparkles appear on the screen (Note: doesn't apply to prologue). I've discovered it is possible to get the ending without making all the right choices, but you will miss out on the album pictures.
