The Drag Racing it divide in: Rivalry, Freerun and Tournament. The Rivalry and Tournament are locked. The Street Racing it divide in: Capture The Flag (called CTF), Cruise and Touge. The Touge is locked. Instead the Story Mode is completely locked Freerun: The classic Drag Race. One VS One. You can run for a quarter mile, half mile or a mile CTF: Have you ever played at capture the flag when you were a children? It is the same thing, but in car. More time you have the flag, more is the cash Cruise: It is the free roam mode of the game. Avoid the traffic and reach very high speeds, like 250Mph or do a street race pressing the horn In the game there are three types of transmissions: Automatic (aka Beginner), Manual (aka Amateur) and Manual|Clutch (aka Expert). Automatic transmission: Don’t have bonuses Manual transmission: Have a 33% bonus of EXP and Cash Manual|Clutch: have a 66% bonus of EXP and Cash. Only FR (RWD) cars can do a burnout. In Expert you can’t do a burnout (see the drag tips below for the burnout glitch) In Pixel Car Racer there are five tracks: the Tsukuba quarter mile, Tsukuba half mile and Tsukuba mile in Drag. Japan: Fuji Fields Highway in Street (with Day and Rain) and Japan: Tokyo City Highway with Night always in Street You can race in three types of weather: Day, Night and Rain. There aren’t differences between them Obviously every racing game have indicators, like the tach and the current time and here there all of indicators: The drag mode have two exclusive indicators: the Tire Heat meter and the Course meter, instead the street mode have one exclusive indicator: the Money meter Tire Heat meter: Means the your tire wear. The colors various from green, yellow, orange to red. The green means that tires are cold, the yellow means the tires have reach the optimal wear, the orange means that it’s starting to overheats and the red means that tires are overheat. The perfect wear is segnalated with a bar Course meter: Marks the remaining journey and the car’s position. You are the Blue square, the opponent is the Red square Money meter: Means the your money earned during the flag possession Instead these indicators there are both drag mode and street mode Time: In drag racing sign the current time and in CTF mode sign the remaining time before the race finish RPM: RPM stand for Rotations per minute. The Type R ECUs, have a different style of the RPM, with a purple retroillumination and Type R words Analogic speedometer: Sign the your current speed, until 160Mph/240Kph Digital speedometer: Equal to Analogic, but sign also over the 160Mph/240Kph Gears: Sign the current gear, in red, other gears in light blue. The neutral and retro is illuminated in yellow when meshed Shift paddles: with these you can shift up/down. These are absent with the shifter option enabled Car distance/flag distance: Means the opponent/flag position with a red exclamation mark. More is red, more the opponent is near. The flag distance is represented with a chess flag. The color is always the same NOS Button: Pressing this button, you activate the NOS boost Horn Button: Press this button if you can do a street race in cruise mode Turbo pressure: Sign the pressure of the turbo. When you release the accelerator the pressure down to -3 Psi Pedals: The pedals are three: clutch, brake and accelerator. Clutch: necessary with the Manual|Clutch mode. Instead use with other modes for rev the engine and make the race better. Brake: obviously every car have brakes. Brake for avoid the traffic. Accelerator: obviously use this for advance the car. Press the accelerator as soon as possible in Drag! Indicators: The indicators are four: engine, temperature, Traction Control System (TCS) and lights. Engine: this indicator it illuminate of yellow when the engine is seriously damaged. Also a message is displayed. It says:“Engine damage”. Before it illuminate the temperature indicator. Temperature: this indicator it illuminate when the radiator liquid is overheated. Traction Control System (TCS): this indicator it illuminate of yellow when the wheels spins, limiting the wheelspin. Lights: this indicator it illuminate of light blue in Night. Also when you enter in a gallery are on When you finish a drag race it will displayed this screen Congrats: When you finish a drag race, the game congrats you with one of three sentences:”Winner! Good job [your name]! You secured [number of wins] wins!” when you win, “Lose! Better luck next time [your name]! You have [number of loses] loses, when you lose and “False start...” when you make a false start Your Time: Means the time did in the race. If the time is better of the record, there is also a new record badge Opponent Time: This is the opponent time in the race Top Speed: The max speed reached in the race. If the top speed is better of the record, there is also a new record badge Reaction: The your reaction when displayed the green light. Obviously less is the reaction time, better is the race time and more win chance. If the reaction is better of the record, there is also a new record badge XP: Means the amount of XP earned Cash: Means the amount of Cash earned Crate: Sometimes (mostly when you level up) you win a crate. The crates contains car’s parts or money Now some tips for the Drag and Street Modes. Drag: for a perfect race, you must wear the tires. More the tires are hot, more traction have the car, but you can do a burnout only with Automatic/Manual transmissions and only with FR (RWD) cars, but I have found a glitch. The glitch consist to do a burnout with FF (FWD) and 4x4 (4WD) cars and with Manual|Clutch transmission. How to do? Simply press clutch, brake and accelerator at same time and for strange reason the tire wear increase Street: in Cruise mode, you can do a street race pressing the horn. Win the car that finish in first place when the time finish Drag & Street: Also in Drag you can use the horn, but have only a decorative effect. NOS: In Drag the NOS doesn’t refill, but in Street yes –-- The garage is the your base. You can select and tune the cars. You can also rename cars using 1 diamond at time and buying new car spaces for 5 diamonds, for a total of 20 diamonds. (The original space is two cars, for a max of six) or using cash for 100,000$, for a total of 400,000$ In the customize menu you can custom car’s aesthetic. You can add: - Flair - Spoiler - Bodykit (front and rear bumper and side skirts) Also you can change the seats and the paint In tune menu you can tune every thing of the your car: - Engine - Rims - Brakes - Tires - Suspensions - Intake - ECU - Pistons - Intercooler - Exhaust And you can add NOS and Turbo Also you can change the gearing. From the first to the sixth gear, including final drive. Increasing the ratio, the gear will be shorter, increasing acceleration, but less top speed and decreasing the ratio, the gear will be longer, increasing top speed, but less acceleration. The my suggestion is: if you want change the gear ratio, change ONLY the final drive. Use the fine tuning to change with extreme precision the gearing and reset the gearing to stock is you have mistaken the gearing. The fine tuning icon is a wrench with – and + at sides and the stock gearing icon is a bolt Buying advanced parts, you can allow the advanced tuning of the suspensions, ECU and turbo. For the suspensions buy the VX Slams. For the ECU buy any +2Steep ECU and for the turbo buy any turbo. The suspension tuning consist to the ride height: more the car is low, more is aerodynamic and fast. The ECU tuning Consist to the launch control. I suggest to set at max peak of power and torque. The turbo tuning consist to the pressure of the turbo: more the pressure is high, more power you gain. You can also “deactivate” the turbo For familiarize the tuning use these infos: - Pear bar: current stat value - Light blue bar: stat value with boost - Green bar: part stat add - Red bar: Part stat decrease - Wrench icon: advanced tuning allowed Dyno: Use this for test your max power and torque. Click run for start the dyno Test drive: Acced to Race Mode Crates: A important part of the garage. Here you can open the crates and hope that part is a very expensive like the Rocketbunny bodykit or a big amount of cash like 40,000$ Diamonds: Use these to buy car spaces and rename cars Cash: Use for buy everything, from cars to parts Crate items: The crate items are unique parts, non-buyable in the Parts Store. These parts are flair and rims, but you can win a normal flare or a expensive buyable part. Also Cash can be won --- In the game are present 65 cars.
