In the past you'll meet the same people only years younger, or their parents - the slippers are there but nobody will tell you that... Desert Village Past 2, something with dream dust and sad dreams ...an ancient civilization has its palace here; however it has degenerated to the point where any crime is swiftly punished and anything unusual is swiftly declared criminal. People live in fear of the reign. You are to rescue some of them who have been trapped in a building with monsters; however they (and you) will be declared monsters upon escaping, because no human could possibly escape. Using awakening powder, you can retrieve an ancient bird from a carpet. Upon escaping from prison, one of the refugees starts a small village in the desert, which has grown prosperous NOW... Burn Daisy Past 3, have Dodo join you and defeat the Genie that's creating monsters for in the forest ...in the present, you'll find the charred corpse of a bird. In the past, the bird's alive (but trapped) and will join you. Together you will defeat the Puppet Master, who is responsible for creating hordes of animated wood golems and green spheres in the present, as well as building a dungeon. Upon his defeat, all these creations vanish from the present... Water Lily Past 4, defeat the sandman and make sure the monkey becomes chief ...in the past the village was threatened by a huge monster; nobody in the village wanted to help defeat it because they were afraid, so in the end the brave but old monkey Tyrone went alone. He was defeated, but you came to the rescue and defeated the evil Baron. The entire village rushed out to rescue Tyrone, and he was declared chief, which his children's children still are in the present... Dahlia Valley Past 5, defeat another monster that spawned an area full of monsters ...in the past there's the mother monster in a cave; she doesn't defend herself and is easily defeated; you gain her horn. This clears the present valley of monsters as well... Soleil Town Past 6, learn about the monster invasion ...Some monsters have been imprisoned in the castle for a long time. One day they escaped and tried to speak to the king about monster rights. He thought they were attacking him and wouldn't listen. When an armed force including you approached, the monsters fled to the church, scaring the wits out of the people in the sermon. You made it to the church in time to speak to the monsters, but shortly afterward the guards came and slew the creatures that didn't resist. In reward for 'saving' the king and the village, a statue was erected in your honor, which still stands today... The Lake Past 7, final confrontation ...In the deepest past, you meet the mother monster once again. She'll only believe you if you show her the horn, which is her own; her people are trapped in this dimension by the spirit energy... Sight - cheetah/leviathan; you can see the eye where you remove the ground with a sword throw. Hit the eye. Taste - no weapons needed, just play pacman and eat all the apples Smell - walk around creating a pattern; when you jump on it, said pattern turns to spikes for a second, hurting you and the nose worm. Sound - whack the musical note with your thrown sword; when he jumps, quickly select Dippy Dino to avoid falling in the spikes.
