The game has many characters with different abilities and characteristics. I will tell you about those later on. The game has many levels. The graphics aren't the greatest but what do you expect from a gameboy game? Well, here is the review. 9/10 ~Story~ - Long ago, but o so far away, a herd of plant-eating dinosaurs gently awaits the yearly hatching of their eggs. However, danger lurks everywhere in this prehistoric world. One day, a bloodthirsty Carnotaur invades their protected Nesting Grounds. Most of the herd escapes, but many of the eggs are destroyed. One egg survives. Stolen by a ravenous Oviraptor, it begins a long journey over land and sea. The voyage ends as the mysterious egg falls through a cluster of trees on a lush island paradise. The island is home to a peaceful clan of lemurs who wonder what sort of monster might hatch from this egg. Within moments, their questions are answered as an adorable baby dinosaur breaks out of the egg. Quickly softening the hearts of the lemurs, the baby is adopted into the lemur family. They name him Aladar. Many years pass, and Aladar grows up happy on his island paradise. His family includes the lemurs' patriarch Yar, Yar's daughter Plio and granddaughter Suri. He also has a best friend, Zini. It is here that our story begins. The Island is hit by a meteor storm and must leave. The island is destroyed but everyone survived. Now they must make it to somewhere safe… 8/10 ~Replay~ - This game has tons of levels so there is almost always a time where you have to go back and beat a level. 7/10 ~ Audio~ - Its ok 8/10 ~Gameplay~ - Te Gamplay is good. There are lost of levels to mention that they are all huge! There are also 6 playable characters. I will list them here. Aladar: The one who the story is all about. Can move rocks and swim. Zini: Zini calls him the "ladies' lemur". Zini may not be able to swim or move rocks, but he sure can run! Plio: The one who adopted and raised Aladar. Plio is the only one who can jump. Suri: A young Lemur. Can climb and swing from vines. Eema: An older dinosaur. She is very slow but can destroy rocks and push enemies. Url: Also very slow but is the only one who can kill enemies. ~Rent/Buy~ - As I said before, its not the best game, but you should try it out by renting it. Peace out! ******************************************************************** Guide Aladar: Aladar can push logs and rocks, swim, and keep away enemies (not kill them). Eema: Eema can crush rocks and break through barriers. But she is very slow. Plio: Plio can jump. To make along jump, press the control pad in the direction you want to jump and hit A. Zini: Zini can run real fast. By hitting A, he will run until his meter is empty and then he will slow down. His ability to run is helpful when trying to get past enemies. Url: Url can swing his tail and kill an enemy. But he is very slow. Suri: Suri can climb and swing on vines. These are the enemies: Carnotaur: These predators will follow you and try to eat you. I recommend using someone fast around this guy. Mosasaurus: A dinosaur found in the water. Aladar needs to watch out for these. Pteranodon: This enemy can fly and is found mostly at high elevations. Velociraptor: It's a like the Carnotaur except faster. It will also follow you if it catches sight of you. In case you don't know the compass, I'm making one here for you: N NW ^ NE W <-O-> E SW v SE S N- North NE- Northeast E- East SE- Southeast S- South SW- Southwest W- West NW- Northwest Level 1: You are Aladar. Go Up and grab the Red Flowers and the White Ones. Then go back down and head east. After A while's walking, you will see a log. Move the log and Zini will join you. Keep going on the path until you come across some flowers. Pick up the flowers and keep moving. The game tells you to use Zini to run across the part where the boulders are, but you don't have to. Keep traveling until you reach the pillars and you completed the level! Level 2: Start off by going southwest and pick up the flowers. Return to the place where you started the level, if you aren't Aladar, turn into him by pressing B on the X spot. Once you are Aladar, head east and move the log. Suri will then join you. Once again go back to the starting point and go northwest. Get up by the Canyon and go east. You will come across a circle on the ground with Plio on it, go over to it and obtain him. Change to him and jump across the canyon onto the pillars by running and hitting the A button. After you go across the pillars, you will come to an X and some vine. Change to Suri and swing on the vine by pressing A when it comes to you. Climb the little rocks and change into Aladar. Use Aladar to move one of the boulders by pressing and holding the A button, when you do that, you can drag the boulder. Keep going and the level is complete! Level 3: You have to escape from the island. The only thing you have to do is keep moving, if you keep moving, you won't get hit by meteor. Head east then north until you come across some flowers and a boulder. Move the boulder and enter the tunnel. Once out of the tunnel, go east, then north, then west and keep following that trail. You will come to an X. If you're not Aladar, change to him and keep going on the trail. You will come to the water then start swimming. Just keep swimming forward until you reach the land and the exit! Level 4: When you start, go north and press B on the circle with Eema's face on it. You now have Eema. Eema can push rocks. After getting Eema, go northwest as any character. Save the baby dinosaur. Then, go south all the way to the bottom as Zini. I recommend Zini because he can run past all those enemies. After going all the way south, get the other baby dinosaur. Also get all the flowers there. Go north and grab the last baby dino. Go where you got Eema and change into Aladar. Finally go slightly northeast and through the exit! Level 5: First off, you have to watch for the moving sand because it hurts you. Change into Suri and run down the climbable part of the plateau. Head south until you come to another plateau. From there, go west a little and then a little south. Step on the picture with Url's face on it and hit B. You now have Url. Url is the only character that can kill enemies. Change into Suri where you got Url. Go west and climb the plateau. Swing from rope to rope to get the baby dinosaur. Go back and climb off the plateau. Go east once you get off the plateau. Eventually you will come across a plateau with flowers on it. Climb the plateau below it and swing to the flowers. Swing back onto the plateau and get off it. Go towards the right of the plateau and go north until you come to yet another plateau. Climb the plateau and change into Aladar and move the rock. Go through the tunnel and then through the exit. Level 6: As Aladar, go east and get the flowers and move the rock to get the red flower. Go north from there and get the flowers and save the baby dinosaur.
