Clear traps and mysteries on the field to advance the story while fighting with the enemy. Each monsters have different attributes. Since the monster cards cannot level up, Arle would have to go to different places to get the monster cards that have a higher level. If the "change jewel" is set into the monster card, the monster's special skill will level up and transform. If the "awake jewels" are set into the monster card, the monster's special skill will be strengthened. The first row - The fifth ability is strengthened. The second row - The third ability is strengthened. The third row - The second ability is strengthened. The fourth row - The fourth ability is strengthened. The fifth row - The sixth ability is strengthened. Arle levels up on every 100EXP. The characters of the attributes are flame > wind; ice > flame; thunder > ice; earth > thunder; wind > earth; light > dark; dark < light. In battle, if Arle defeats all of the monster cards first, and then defeat the monster card holder last, she will receive a "perfect" which doubles the EXP to 50-70 points. Along on Arle's journey, you will see a purple looking cat girl who is nearby a rock in four different locations (Flame Land, Earth Forest, Forest That Becomes Quiet x2). Use Mr. Blast on that rock to find a hot spring for the cat girl. If a hot spring is found, the cat girl will give Arle an earth jewel and a skill jewel). If no hot spring is found, the cat girl will be waiting for Arle in the next location. Also, along on Arle's journey, you will see a bell in four different locations (Thawing River, Flame Land, Forest That Becomes Quiet, Sanctuary of Light). When Arle rings the bell (search it), Mr. Horse will fly by to speak to Arle to take her to the next location. Make sure that Arle rings each of the bells to mark their locations so that she can return back to those locations again. In battle, use the special ability (#1) only on White Mantle. After defeating White Mantle, go thru the top door into the cottage. In the cottage, go right, down, right, up, and pick up the labyrinth key. After that, go down, left, up, up, and search the treasure chest for a life jewel. Now, go down, left, and search the blue door to open it with the labyrinth key. After that, go up into the next room. In this room, speak to the boy who is blocking the way. Now, fight Mummy. After defeating Mummy, go down the stairs to B1. On B1, go right, down, right, up, right, down, and go up the stairs to 1F. On 1F, go left, up, left, up, right, down, down, and pick up the labyrinth key. After that, go back to where the stairs is at, and go right, up, up, up, and search the blue door to open it with the labyrinth key. After that, go up into the next room. In this room, speak to the boy who is blocking the way. Now, fight Nas-Grave. After defeating Nas-Grave, go down the stairs to B1. On B1, go right, down, bottom left, and go up the stairs to 1F. On 1F, go down, down, right, and press the switch that's nearby to open the blue door. After that, go up, up, and pick up the labyrinth key. After that, go back to the blue door that's nearby the stairs and switchboard, and search the blue door to open it with the labyrinth key. Now, go up into the next room. In this room, go right, and search the treasure chest for a life jewel. After that, go left, and speak to the boy who is blocking the way. Now, fight Skelton T. After defeating Skeleton T, go down the stairs to B1. On B1, go down, left, up, left, down, and go up the stairs to 1F. On 1F, go to the front of the table, and then Tiger Cat comes into the room. Now, fight Veneris (HP600/MP400). After defeating Veneris, Arle reads Satan's letter. Now, go right, down to exit the cottage. After defeating the Great Devil King Elephant, go right, and search the two treasure chests for change jewel and awake jewel. Now, go thru the door that's nearby at the bottom to exit the mansion. After that, go east, and speak to Septem who is blocking the way. After defeating Schezo, Arle gets the magic crystal. Now, go down (bottom right), right into the spirit forest. In the spirit forest, search the two treasure chests for the change jewel and awake jewel, down to exit the forest. scene. Now, fight Dies (HP2600/MP1200) again. After defeating Dies, there is 
a scene, and then Arle gets the hero's magic book.
