When I went there I did not see any information on this forgotten about game. So I figured I would make a Card Guide (I might make a full walk- through sometime but it seems unlikely right now.) That would list all the information about them. So if you are missing a card then you can just look here and find out which one is eluding your collection. Also you can see if the card is worth collecting. Which is, because then you would have the cards to make a deck so strong that would make people tremble just at looking through the cards. So without further ado here is the Guide. """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ======================================================================= ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ======================================================================= +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" 2: Version History: I have written two other strategy guides for games, they are a full walkthrough for Dark Summit, and a Boss Guide for Super Mario World. Only the one for Dark Summit is posted on GameFAQS, but I will be working on the one for Super Mario World when I am finished with this one. Unfortunately I never put a Version History in them so when I went to work on one again I had to search for what I had done and what still need to be. So I am going to make it an utmost priority to take the time to be accurate with this one. The reason I never created a Version History was because I thought them to be pointless. I always thought that FAQ writers put Version Histories in to make their strategy guides longer and show off how quickly they can write them. Or display the amount of time it takes to write one. I know now that they do have a point and if it takes up room and a show off that is all right, everything good has its pitfalls. But one thing I don't under stand is why some have 9.12, 3.2, 40.5 ET cetera based on what they add to it, to me it is easier to just upgrade the version one full number every time you add something to your literary work upon closing the program. Version One: Typed of preliminary work such as: Introduction, Version History, Table Of Contents, Legal Information, and Section Dividers (8- 8-4) Version Two: Typed up an Introduction to the Card Guide and put in the information about Tigers Character Cards. If I knew what the "K" meant on a cards Information I'd be done with him. Well my stomachs making noises so I'll go get Breakfast. (8-9-4) Version Three: Decided to discover the meaning of the K on the card later and list it as follows: K:, so when I do figure out what the K means just update it. So the card information is filled out for Tiger and Gali, meaning that I am done with them for now. I also did some more outlining with the guide. Well my boss will get mad if I don't get to work so I'll be back to work on this self-brought-on curse of mine later. (8-9-4) Version Four: While I was playing Monster Rancher Battle Card, I got Card number 32 (Cyclone) so I took that off of the cards I still need to collect to complete my collection. I also finished off Golems and Suezos' section of the card guide. I've been up since Five O'clock this morning working on this Card Guide, resting only an hour to go do my job. If you call that resting, so, I guess it is time to put this guide to rest for the day. (8-9-4) Version Five: Well today was my first day of school. Unlike most other FAQ writers I cannot work on my walkthroughs for hours on end. Because of that little miniscule detail from now on in I am going to be doing a little bit each day. So today I just pit in the closing, (yes it is early I know) and reformatted some of the areas so it is easier to find what you need. (8-10-4) Version Six: Today was just a small update because I do not know exactly how long my Mother is going to be out. On account of that reason I only completed Pixie's section to day and added some more text to the introduction to the Card Guide. The next time it seems that I will be able to get anything really accomplished is Saturday and that is only the Morning because I have to meet a Car Dealer midday about a real job. (8-11-4) Version Seven: This update is going to be strictly fixing mistakes, adding text to some more areas of the Card Guide which would include The Introduction and Version History. I also created (but did not start) the section: About the Author not that anyone really cares or reads these anyway, but sometimes it is interesting to read about how they are able to write their Walkthroughs, FAQ's or Strategy Guides. (8-12-4) Version Eight: For the reason that I can labor on my guide for an hour and ten minutes today I will probably only finish off Dino's and Naga's section in this card guide. Once I accomplish that I will be halfway through the guide. Tomorrow I am hoping to get to card 128 by Eleven o' Clock and possibly finish my curse. Upon completion of that, I will be adding more things, deleting pointless parts, and doing what ever I see that needs to be finished. So I can save this to a floppy disk, go down to my local neighborhood Library, get on-line, load my disk up, and submit this Card Guide to GameFAQS. (8-13-4) Version Nine: Has any one heard about Hurricane Charley? If you have, then you should know today is the day he is going to be screwing around with The Carolinas, right where I live. When I woke up today at five thirty A.M. it was pouring rain profusely. As a result of the Hurricane, people always-going whacko over Mother Nature, and Mothers always worrying about their sons I have to call her every hour on the hour so I might be slowed down somewhat. Another thing about this Hurricane is that I run the risk of losing power, if that God-forsaken event occurs, then I'll be in a major bind. By reason of that, I will be working diligently without stopping so I can finish this. Then when I do finish the Card Guide I will take a five-minute break. After my break I will proofread this, create the ASCII art and finish the section "About The Author". (8-14-4) Version Ten: When I finished typing the core of this guide, I thought that I would not work on this curse of mine until I get the rest of the cards I am missing. Like curses they do not end until they end so you do not control what you think you control. So now I am going to add text to the Introduction, Version History, create and outline Card Checklist section, and add some of my own to the Card Guide Section. (8-14-4) Version Eleven: As I see less and less to finish on this Card Guide I see more and more that I could do. But right now I am going to just fill in the Card Checklist Section. After I do that I am going to plat the game and get more of the cards that I am missing and finish off Ancra's Ruins. Once I do that I will go back and put in the new information in the appropriate places. (8-15-4) Version Twelve: I was playing Monster Rancher Battle Card earlier but after every battle, the people would give me a card I already had. After many battles and getting the same cards I decided to switch the Card Guide to Microsoft Word Pad so that I could see how the Guide would look like if it were posted on GameFAQS. Another thing I did was proof read to see if I missed any errors, which I did. As of right now all I have to do is get the rest of the cards eluding my grasp and this Card Guide will be ready for submission to CJayC. (8-15-4) Version Thirteen: From here on out the updates are going to be small. Some may be so small that they do not even add a kilobyte. But I will try to avoid that. While I was playing the game I beat Ancra's ruins the disc they gave me there, warranted me Hare's character Card. I have to go to school in fifteen minutes so now I am going to fill in Hare's information and, call it good for now. Also remembered how to turn off page breaks in Microsoft Word (c) so I switched the format back to that. (8-16-4) Version Fourteen: During the course of this week I have learned very many important lessons in my life. My personal and professional one. You do not need to know about my personal but the one most important in my professional one is: Do not put countless hours into a Card Guide if there is already one done. However as to every rule there is an exception; if the one that is already completed, posted and yours is superior, do some thinking and decide if you want to do one. I did not know one was posted so I just jumped in and got too far in to quit. So now that I am almost done I will put in the new cards I have received. Those cards would include: 008, C-009, 111, 118, 122 in a result of that I will fill in that information and work on getting the rest of the cards. (8-21-4) Version Fifteen: I have now put this guide into a text format. Before it was in a document format so when I converted much of the format was screwy so I had to redo much of it. I haven't played the game much this week but I have accomplished beating the game. The Pharaoh said I couldn't get all of the cards in this world. After all of that my game restarted so I am going to go to GameFAQS and do some research. Within the feat of beating the game I have acquired some new cards. As the drill goes, overtime I get a new card the info is added and I will do that now. (8-27-4) Version Sixteen: Hey what do you know this version matches my age. I have done some research and have concluded that I will have to go through the entire game again to get the cards I did not have the first time around. As well as get my old cards because some grandfather has them and will not give my precious cards back until I reach Master Class. Right now I am mad at the game and I am also mad at ShadowMan for the Nintendo 64. The reason I am mad at Monster Rancher Battle Card is because I had only ten more cards that were out of my reach according to my knowledge right now. I am mad at ShadowMan because I had ninety-nine Dark Souls, one hundred and twenty-eight cadeaux left to have them all, the Final Gad, was at the end boss and died so the game restarted and I never saved. For that reason I will either A: Work only on the story I started. B: Write another Full fledged Walkthrough or C: Calm down play ShadowMan beat that game then work on beating my other games. But for now I am going to submit my first unfinished FAQ to GameFAQS. The only reason I am doing so is because I cannot do much else until I get Master Class again. (8-29-4) Version Seventeen: This guide is going to be the death of my sanity. I keep switching back and forth...back and forth... back and forth... sorry that was my mind slipping past the veil of reality. Not really an update but a different version. I switched the guide back into word had to fix the format problems and ASCII art. Not much else though. (8-30-4) Version Eighteen: I love it when the final parts of a walkthrough are being done. After so many countless hours, countless keystrokes, countless thoughts to just say one has been already done work more on your other one, the thought that you are almost done is a blessing. As I was doing my research I discovered the section between Mocchi and All Monsters is something called Phoenix. Upon further study I discovered you need to battle Holly out side of the ruins to earn a Phoenix Feather and trade one to him and earn an item. I have traded five to him and I have finally gotten all of the cards in All Monsters as I have done this I will put the information in the respective places. I could keep battling Holly for more feathers but I am going to finish this today and then this will be the final update. I am going to trade a few feathers to Mac then get that information reset and finish off all of the cards that you need to trade a feather to Mac in order to get. Unfortunately I have all but three derivative monsters, and you cannot get those from trading feathers. Looks like some more research for me. (9-5-4) Version Nineteen: Eight-hundred cards, fifty-two hours and thirty-seven minutes, fifty-four days of playing, thirty-six days of writing, five- hundred and sixty-eight wins later I have finally finished the game. I have all of the cards I have found everyone missing in the temples, and I only went through the game twice. I have played as the Speed and miracle team so now I am going to play as the strength team and finish the game one more time and put the game away for awhile. With this Card Guide finished I can solely focus on my other in-depth guide for Ren and Stimpy Veediots. I am going to make four separate in-depth Episode guides then merge them into one huge full-fledged-in-depth walkthrough. Now that this guide is finished and all of the needed information is in it I shall say that this guide will have no more updates that I will put here, if I corrected a few errors it is not noteworthy. Version Twenty: Fidelus Patronus E-Mailed me to tell me this: K=Kind, don't know if someone has already told you but just thought I'd tell you anyway ^_^ I am not sure why they broke up the last part. However I do know that I am thankful for their information. With that knowledge I inserted the information. As I wrote this I was thinking of what it could mean and that came across my mind. I did not put it in because I would rather omit information than give you wrong information. That was the only change aside from putting them in the Thank-You section. *NOTE* This guide becomes a new version every time I close Microsoft Word(c). I will list the Card Number, Card Name, Card Type, Card Element, Life, K (PLEASE E-mail me and tell me what the "K" stands for if you just so happen to possess that knowledge.) Attack, and Video Games Description. As of right now I am missing cards: All of the cards in the section between Mocchi and All Monsters, 123, 124, 125, 126,127, 128, and all of the cards, except Allure and Dino Rock in the last section derivatives. When you look at your File under the Start menu. *NOTE* This information was obtained from the Video Game known as Monster Rancher Battle Card and I did NOT write the information, however I did add some miniscule words in the description to help clarify the cards meaning. Once again this is not my own, I just compiled a list. ----------------------------- | Tigers' Character Card's: | ----------------------------- Card Number: C-001 Card Name: Tiger Card Type: Monster Card Element: Ground Life: 6 Video Games Description: Good at swift attack. Thank You:
=CjayC- For creating a web-site that lets you receive free walkthroughs
on games and giving me a reason to live.
=James Quigley- For saying that all any FAQ I would write would suck.
It only gave me a reason to make sure this one didn't suck.
=Fidelus Patronus- They E-Mailed me to tell me this:
K=Kind, don't know if someone has already told you but just thought I'd
tell
you anyway
^_^
I am not sure why they broke up the last part. However I do know that
I am thankful for their information. With that knowledge I inserted
the information. As I wrote this I was thinking of what it could mean
and that came across my mind. I did not put it in because I would rather
omit information than give you wrong information.
=Qazicle 2- They told me what Fidelus Patronus meant in this Message Board
reply:
From: Qazicle 2 | Posted: 5/21/2005 7:39:33 AM | Message Detail
It is actually the names of two individual spells.
The Fidelus Spell: A spell to seal a secret inside a person's soul, the
Secret Keeper's soul. No one will ever discover the secret, unless the
Secret-Keeper divulges the information to them.
An example of this would be hiding where someone lives: No-one will ever
be able to find out they live there... not even with their own eyes. <_<
E.g.: The Potters hid from Voldemort with this spell.
The Patronus Charm: A charm that is used to drive away Dementors. Using a
very happy memory, the caster creates a guardian (AFAIK always animal shaped)
which is made from pure happiness, acting like a shield from the Dementor's
debilitating happiness absorbing ability. >_>
E.g.: The thing Harry uses in Prisoner of Azkaban...
---
Lost the love of heaven above. Chose the lust of the earth below.
Eleven saintly shrouded men, Came to wash my sins away. O.o - SotC - IM -
h/t
- (r)claw
With this new information I would assume Fidelus Patronus is the Hidden
Dementor? What ever he is I am thankful for the two of them

I live in North Carolina at a mobile home park called Leisure Living
Estates. The parks layout and overall look is nice but of course there
is always the black eye of community. The black eye of this community
is the Marijuana smoking inhabitants around as well as the people that
litter. Unfortunately I can do little about the drug problem because
cops are lazy and will only confiscate them. However I can do
something about the trash. One day I was walking around and picked up
some trash on my street. (I have done this for years, being the
namesake of one of my nicknames "pockets".) I guess the owner saw me,
and the next day I was offered the job of cleaning up the trash, in
return I would get one hundred dollars off of my Mothers rent. The
best part is that it is easy and I get to drive a modified golf-cart
around. I love that mule for obvious reasons. (Me plus machine equals
fun.) I am a junior at West over high School and I am currently
enrolled in the Army JROTC, my rank is an E-4 and my position is Team
Leader. I do not know why but I love to write anything poetry,
stories, walk-through unless it is for school. Even if it is for
school I am done in maybe twenty minutes for essays. After I finish
school I plan to go into the Army and make a career out of it.
The equipment I used to write this card guide is old. I use a Super
Nintendo with the Super Game Boy to play the Game Boy Game: Monster
Rancher Battle Card. I got the television eight years ago and this
version of Microsoft Word I'm using was made in nineteen ninety-five.
My immediate family includes my Mother Susan (whom I reside with) her
nickname is Mooie Mare. My biological father Ron (I don't even
recognize him as a father) and my brother Ronnie they live in Missouri.
Plus many other aunts uncles cousins nieces and nephews.

Unfortunately as we all know all things must come to an end. Yes I
know the phrase goes: all things must come to an end, but who said this
was good? Hopefully it will be sufficient to be posted on
www.gamefaqs.com, as well as help those that read this guide.
Lord knows that I have put my time, hard work and sweat into this
guide. Because if I do something. I am going to do it better than
everyone else does? Because my time is too precious to waste therefore
I can do something once well, or do it twice.
Another thing about this Card Guide is that I have to write the core of
it only when my mother is gone. Because I think that it is selfish to
use both the computer, the television
and my Super Nintendo all at once without letting my mother using any
of the electronics. Why am I using the Super Nintendo to write a Card
Guide for a Gameboy game? Probably because I am using the Super
Gameboy, correct I do use ancient equipment but I
love retro, not because it is popular now but because I like to be
different. You could call me a salmon because I purposely go against
the flow. Now I am going to leave you with some wise words of mine, if
at first you don't succeed, you have not failed but you have been
successful at failing.
