It's been a while since I wrote an FAQ for anything and I forgot how painful and fun it can be. ;) Anyways, after several years, Nintendo finally comes out with a new Zelda game for the handheld and I can definitely say that this game is fun! Short, but none the less, fun! This guide's purpose to give a complete list of the Figurines in this game. I won't be going in to any other detail related to the game, so if that is what you came to look for in this guide, then I suggest you hit the Back button in your browser and choose some one the great guides written by other members of GameFAQs. ------------------ - 2. Figurines? - ------------------ In the game, in the South-Western area of Hyrule Town is a tree/bush with an entrance. Go inside and you will meet a man: Carlov. He tells you that he collects Mysterious Shells and will trade you Figurines for your Mysterious Shells. So you've decided you want to trade your Shells to get the Figurines. Good! No Zelda game is complete without doing everything there is to do in a game. To get the Figurines, you have to first understand that every time you want to get one, you might not necessarily get a new one, due to the probability factor that is in the game. As it should be obvious, the higher the probability, the greater the chance it is to get a new Figurine. However, keep in mind that by increasing your probability, you're decreasing the number of Shells you have. Usually if you're around the 60%-95% probability range, you will get a new Figurine, but keep in mind that you still have a chance of getting a Figurine you already have. So remember: just keep looking for Shells! The more you have, the better your chances are when getting new Figurines. ------------------------------------- 2. i) How do I get more Figurines? - ------------------------------------- How do you get more Figurines you ask? The best way to do this is by meeting new people, kill new monsters, kill bosses, Kinstone Fuse with people, just basically anything that helps you progress in the game. Usually after completing a dungeon will give you a few new Figurines. So take for example if you wanted the Big Green Chuchu Figurine, beat it and it will become one of the obtainable Figurines in the Figure-Dispensing machine. ----------------- 2. ii) Rewards - ----------------- Once you've collected the first 130 Figurines, you will be given access to the back door of the house with the robot on the roof. All you have to do is talk to the guy sitting outside of Mama's Cafe (the guy who keeps saying he's rich). Inside are three chests with 200 Rupees in each, a Heart Piece and a Sound Test. After completing the game, you can go back to the shop to get 6 more. Once you have 136 Figurines, you will be awarded the Carlov Medal. ---------------------- - 3. Figurines List - ---------------------- Below is the complete list of Figurines that can be obtained in the game. It is separated into two sections: North American Version and European Version. The reason why there are two sections is because some of the translations in the descriptions for the European Version differs from the North American release. Rather than having one list with some multiple entries, I've decided to have two separate lists. To help make searching easier, just use the CTRL+F function your browser and type in the number or name of the Figurine you're looking for. ------------------------------- 3. i) North American Version - ------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ #001 Name: Capless Link Description: A young boy who lives in Hyrule. - 4. Help! -
-------------
If you plan on e-mailing me, then please take this into consideration. I will
not respond. I find that this guide is pretty straight forward and complete.
The only changes I might make in the future are just rearranging things and
grammar/spelling checks, etc.
Q: How many Figurines are there?
A: 136. You start off with a total of 130, but you get six more after you beat
the game.
Q: How do I get more Figurines?
A: Find more Shells, explore more areas, defeat new monsters, beat more
dungeons, meet new people, Kinstone Fuse with people, etc. Doing these
things will help increase the number of Figurines you can get.
