Since then, I've been thinking about doing another one. However, i didn't had either, the will/time/inspiration to actually do so. Not to mention that, every other game that I've got, has already been covered so far. After awhile, i managed to get my hands on this particular game (Mega Man X Command Mission), and i loved it; mainly because it mixed elements from the X series, along with some from your average RPG, with some twists here and there. If you're a fan of Capcom's Breath Of Fire series, you'll also notice some stuff from those games (Breath Of Fire IV, in particular) were brought here, such as enemy attacks, star-symbol next to damage, etc. Now, I've been looking around this game's "FAQS & guides" section, and I noticed that there wasn't any focusing exclusively on enemy skills/attacks. Granted, you can't learn these attacks, as opposed to Breath Of Fire III and on, but still...it's interesting to know it's effects and such for playthroughs. Thus, I decided to write this guide down, so people would get to know every single enemy attack in the entire game. Of course, this document has major SPOILERS (regarding enemy/boss names, etc.), so, unless you've already played it, or don't mind spoilers: READ IT AT YOUR OWN RISK! Anyways, hope it'll be helpful to all of you. Ver. 1.00 (01/07/07): The initial list is complete! Ver. 1.10 (01/09/07): Added the skill "Needle Shower" and (preliminary) info on the effects of "4th Dimension Slow". Ver. 1.50 (01/12/07): Added a special note on "4th Dimension Slow" and corrected/added a few things on some skills. Ver. 1.55 (01/12/07): Some minor tweaks on some skills (some '?' are gone), arranged alphabetically the objects table, and added a couple of terms. This list will explain every single attack in the game, it's effects, etc. Here's some explanation on terms i'll be using: (Type) S: Shot attack (affects Shield stat). (Type) C: Combat attack (affects Armor stat). (Unit) S: Single target. (Unit) A: All targets. (ALL): Targets both parties. (C/S) Barrier: Automatic Defense (damage reduced) from either C/S attacks. (C/S) Counter: Counter-attack (activated when hit with either C/S attacks). (Decoy) [Botos only]: The fake Botos fought at Melda Ore Plant (CH.8). (GL/MOP) [Preon Gunner only]: Two versions of "Preon Gunner", found in: - GL: Gaudile Laboratory - MOP: Melda Ore Plant (FEHQ) [Rebellion Army members only]: "Re-match" version of bosses fought at Far East HQ (CH.10). [Defense]: Defense Command. Halves all damage and protects against any and all status effects. [Run]: Run Command. Flees the battle. Status effects: Virus, Blind, Bind, Berserk, Freeze or DOA. Support effects: (Raises/Lowers) Power, Armor, Shield or Speed. - Skills with an (*) mean that they're used automatically at the start of the user's turns. - Skills with a (DNA) mean that Axl can use them with his AT: DNA Change. - If there's a '-' (Type), either the skill depends on the weapon equipped (C or S), or it doesn't fit the C/S category at all (ie. Life Gain MAX). - If there's a '-' (Unit), either the skill's used only on self, 'summons' other allies, or it's special (S, A or even ALL, depending on the skill's effects). ****************************************************************************** ============================================================================== (!) Special Notes: ============================================================================== - 4th Dimension Slow is a very interesting skill, to say the least.
