It stars the titular character Dangeresque, one of the many alter-egos of popular homestarrunner.com character Strong Bad, as he tries to solve a high profile murder by using items available around his office to falsify evidence. This guide covers only the methods to complete each puzzle in order to complete the game. The guide assumes you have already read the instructions at the beginning of the game and know how to play. **************************************** SPOILERS AHEAD **************************************** ----- 2.0 - Walkthrough In order to complete the game you must complete the objectives laid out in the case file on the board behind Dangeresque's desk. You will know that the game is complete once your score is 170/170. Actions pertaining towards the goal will net you points that mark your progress. ----- 2.1 - Photographic evidence of the attack 1. GET the TAKEOUT on top of the SAFE. You will be unable to get it. (5 points) 2. Approach the CHAIR from the south and USE it. A BIZ CARD will fall out of the chair. LOOK at the BIZ CARD to get the phone number to Kung-fu Dragon Chinese Takeout. (10 points) 3. USE the PHONE on the desk to call Kung-fu Dragon. The delivery boy will come and unstick the box of TAKEOUT from the SAFE. (15 points) 4. GET the TAKEOUT from the SAFE. (5 points) 5. On the right wall there is a SWITCH. USE it to turn off the light. 6. On the left side of the room there is a rug. Have Strong Bad USE the rug then LOOK at the rug to see the safe combination. If the blinds are open close them otherwise you cannot see the combination. (20 points) 7. Have Dangeresque USE the safe after getting the combination and GET the camera inside the safe. (5 points) 8. Have Dangeresque USE the BLINDS to open them. 9. USE the TAKEOUT on the BLINDS. Strong Bad will place the TAKEOUT on the window ledge. 10. USE the CAMERA on the BLINDS with the TAKEOUT on the ledge to get your PHOTO OF CRIME. (30 points) 11. USE PHOTO OF CRIME on the CASEFILE behind Dangeresque's desk to complete your objective. (10 points) ----- 2.2 - Physical Evidence that was left behind 12. GET the COFFEE on Dangeresque's desk and the TAKEOUT. If the TAKEOUT is on the window simply GET it. If it is stuck to the SAFE refer to steps 1 - 4 in section 2.1. 13. USE COFFEE on Dangeresque (10 points) 14. USE TAKEOUT on Dangeresque (10 points) 15. Walkover to the chair (approaching it from the south) and USE it. Doing so will give you BAG OF WHOOZIT. (25 points) 16. USE BAG OF WHOOZIT on CASEFILE to complete your objective. (10 points) ----- 2.3 - Solved stamp on CASEFILE 17. Stand infront of the desk and USE it. A drawer will open with the DRY UNSOLVED STAMP in it. GET the DRY UNSOLVED STAMP. (5 points) 18. If you have not already done so, GET the TAKEOUT from ontop of the SAFE to reveal the SWEET/SOUR SAUCE underneath it. Refer to steps 1-4 in section 2.1 on how to get the TAKEOUT. 19. Use the DRY UNSOLVED STAMP on the SWEET/SOUR SAUCE. It will then become the INKED UNSOLVED STAMP. (10 points) 20. Use the DRY UNSOLVED STAMP on the CASEFILE. When stamping the CASEFILE makesure only the SOLVED part of the stamp is hovering over the paper. Stamp the CASEFILE as SOLVED to complete your final objective. Congratulations you have beaten the game. ----- 3.0 Glitches/Troubleshooting If you have trouble starting up the game make sure you have the latest version of Macromedia Flash (c) and make sure your web browser is fully updated. There was a glitch in earlier versions of the game where if you put the INKED SOLVED STAMP on the window ledge it would give you 10 points everytime you di it and thereby allowing you to get 170 without finishing the game. Subsequently the game would not end if you tried to exploit the glitch.
