INTRODUCTION G0100 =============================================================================== Welcome to 'Hikaru Genji: Roller Panic' for the Famicom Disk System, released by Pony Canyon in 1989. The game was only released in Japan and being a text adventure it is only available in Japanese. Not understanding the language makes playing and reading this walkthrough a little tricky. To read the walkthrough make sure you switch your browser to Shift-JIS decoding. BASICS G0200 =============================================================================== Your goal in the game is to outfit all 7 band members with roller skates to make the big gig at the arena. I believe you can tackle each band member’s part in any order but if you are having problems just follow the same flow as in the walkthrough below. You can switch the characters around while in the game. Controls ```````` A to confirm actions. B to retract actions. START to begin the game. In the conversation windows you can press START to bring up the Save/Load menu. With the third option you can also change character so that is why the name of the menu option changes with the character you currently walk around with. SELECT to exit buildings instantly. D-Pad walks around, selects menu items. You automatically enter buildings if you walk into them. =============================================================================== 03.) WALKTHROUGH G0300 =============================================================================== Select your gender, either female (おんな) or male (おとこ). Confirm with the right option. Your next input is your name. Again confirm with the bottom right option. Select your birthday in YY/MM/DD format and finally select your blood type. The next screen asks which band member you want to pick. 内海光司(うちうみ) Enter the arena where you start out anyway. Get used to the disk-flipping. Inside, talk to the guy. あげてみれば -> サイン Exit (SELECT) and walk into the hotel at the top of the map. あげてみれば -> おかね Exit and go to the nearby 7-11. あげてみれば -> ひめい Exit and enter the small grey building at the right side (not the rail station). みせてみれば -> やさしさ Exit and enter the building to the right of the arena for a scene. 大沢樹生(おおさわ) Enter the park in the center of the area. みせてみれば -> ポスター Exit and enter the greenish building far left. みせてみれば -> りょうり Exit and go into the building just on your right. あげてみれば -> ラーメン Exit and return to the park. きいてみれば -> てがかり Return to the arena for a scene. 佐藤寛之(ひろゆき) Enter the building on your right. きいてみれば -> てがかり Exit and enter the building further right. みせてみれば -> チケット Return to the arena. あげてみれば -> ナンノのサイン Exit and go to the grey building near the top right (not rail station!) あげてみれば -> おさけ Exit and enter the green building at the left side of the area for a scene. 諸星和己(もろほし) Enter the rail station. みせてみれば -> おねがいのポーズ Exit and enter the building next to the arena. きいてみれば -> てがかり Exit and enter the park. みせてみれば -> アメリカンバー Exit and enter the studio on the left. みせてみれば -> おどり Exit and enter the grey building just on your left for a scene. 山本淳一(やまもと) Enter the green building above the arena. みせてみれば -> うた Exit and enter the studio just right of here. きいてみれば -> いけん Exit and enter the hotel. あげてみれば -> チップ Exit and enter the building next to the arena. あげてみれば -> ようかん Exit and enter the hotel for a scene. 赤板晃(あかさか) Enter the hotel. あげてみれば -> べんとう Exit and enter the 7-11. きいてみれば -> てがかり Exit and enter the grey building at the bottom right. あげてみれば -> おさけ Exit and enter the other grey building further north (again, not the rail station!) あげてみれば -> おたぎり Exit and return to the 7-11 for a scene. 佐藤敦啓(あつひろ) Enter the 7-11. あげてみれば -> おさけ Exit and enter the arena. みせてみれば -> パンシ Exit and enter the rail station. あげてみれば -> えがお Exit and enter the grey building at the bottom right. みせてみれば -> おじぎ Exit and enter the park for a scene.
