Complete to the European and American launch of Black/White. ============================== = Introduction =============== ============================== Event Pokemon remain one of the most elusive and enchanting aspects of the Pokemon games. Since Game Freak decided to hide Mew all those years ago, Event Pokemon have come in many different styles, from the ordinary to the extraordinary. My other guide for Generation IV & III is a work in progress, and as that information will be posted there, this guide will only cover the new events related to Generation V, which has so far included only Pokemon Black & White. ================================= = Special Events ================ ================================= --- Pokemon As of the writing of this guide, the following Pokemon are exclusively obtained via an event of some form. Since no traded Pokemon to Generation V can originate earlier then Generation III, I have placed the earliest Generation in which these Pokemon can be obtained along with the Pokemon. Mew Generation III Celebi Generation III Jirachi Generation III Deoxys Generation III Phione Generation IV Manaphy Generation IV Darkrai Generation IV Shaymin Generation IV Arceus Generation IV Victini Generation V Keldeo* Generation V Meloetta* Generation V Genesect* Generation V * Undistributed as of guide publication Zorua Generation V Zoroark Generation V Zorua and Zoroark can only be obtained by using special trigger event Pokemon which were distributed late into the release cycle of Generation IV. --- Shiny Pokemon At this time there is no distribution that could result in a legitimate Shiny version of Reshiram, Zekrom or Victini. As such, these Pokemon are considered to be POTENTIAL future events. --- Moves Snarl (TM95) - A dark type, damage dealing special attack that has yet to be released. This move can only be known through the use of the event TM or an event Pokemon distribution. V-Create - The hidden move, currently used for Victini in a future event distribution. Freeze Shock - Unreleased move believed to be linked to Kyurem, possibly distributed in the "Third Game" of Generation V. Ice Burn - Unreleased move believed to be linked to Kyurem, possibly distributed in the "Third Game" of Generation V. ============================== Events in Japan =JPNX======== ============================== * 2010 * JPNX2010 Liberty Pass September 18, 2010 to October 18, 2010 Wireless Distribution of the Liberty Pass Item ------------------------------ Trade for Evolution!
