There are 3 different story mode files to choose from- blue star, yellow star and pink star. Once you choose a file, you are given 4 options: Adventure mode- Choose this to start/ load your game from story mode Replay adventure- Choose this to play any of the mini-games from the story mode. Snowy forest: Snowman – Choose this to make your own snowman Snowy animals – use your stylus to draw a circle around the animal shown on the top screen. The animals are hiding somewhere on the screen, so its quite fun to play Coloring – draw a picture on a snowy canvas. Options- Music – Turn up or down the music (default = 5) SFX – Turn up or down the sound effects (default = 5) Credits – Play credits --------- Story mode -------- Dora is reading a book. In the book, a girl hears a bird crying. Game 1 ------- Hit each of the 4 locks with your stylus 3 times to break the locks and help the bird escape the cage. --- The girl looks in a bush to find a crystal. --- Game 2 ------ Touch the bush that the top screen tells you to, then you are supposed to blow into the microphone to reveal a crystal. You don’t need to do this. Instead, all you need to do is rub the microphone each time after you choose the correct bush. Do this with all 4 bushes to progress. --- A fairy tells you that you broke the witches spell. A witch comes and takes the crystal. The fairy in the book asks Dora to help. --- Game 3 ------ Rub the microphone 3 times. --- Map tells you where to go. --- Game 4 ------ Using your stylus, pick the picture that displays the icy ocean. --- Dora sees swiper. --- Game 5 ------ Rub the microphone 3 times. --- Dora wants you to signal the attention of a pirate ship. Game 6 ------ Draw 4 circles around each of the 4 wheels. Dora boards the pirate ship, but the witch appears. Then, touch the touch screen to jump over big obstacles, or use the control pad to go around small obstacles. Go around 10 obstacles to advance. The witch summons a sea monster after the 2nd, 5th and 9th obstacle. To get rid of him rub your microphone. --- Boots falls overboard. Dora gets off to rescue him. --- Game 7 ------ Using your stylus, pick the picture that displays the snowy hills. --- Dora meets a girl on a snow sledge. --- Game 8 ------ Rub the microphone. Then circle the dog harness using your stylus. Game 9 ------- Draw a line through the dark line with your stylus to attach the dog harness. Game 10 ------- Touch the touch screen to jump over big obstacles, or use the control pad to go around small obstacles. Go around 10 obstacles to advance. Game 11 ------- Using your stylus, pick the picture that displays the caves. --- Dora, her friend and boots approach a cave. --- Game 12 ------- Dora needs to light the cave. Drag each 3 blocks to the corresponding holes in the wall of the cave. Then do it again, except with 5 different shapes. Round 1 shapes: Pentagon, rectangle, circle. Round 2 shapes: Star, Square, Triangle, Pentagon, Rectangle. --- Dora struggles to find her way out of the cave. Boots finds a way, but it’s blocked. Game 13 ------- Pull the levers down with your stylus in numerical order. Do this in 3 separate rounds to progress out of the caves. Game 14 ------- Using your stylus, pick the picture that displays the tower. --- Dora and boots don’t know how to get to the bottom of the mountain. --- Game 15 ------- Rub the microphone 3 times. Then, draw a circle around the surfboard. Game 16 ------- Touch the touch screen to jump over big obstacles, or use the control pad to go around small obstacles. Go around 10 obstacles to advance. --- Dora approaches the tower- but the drawbridge is up with crocodiles in the moat (somehow). --- Game 17 ------- Rub the microphone 8 times. Then, turn the two wheels by drawing 19 circles around each of them, starting with the top wheel. --- Dora climbs the tower to find the snow princess- but she cannot smile because of the curse that the witch has put on her. Dora offers to help. --- Game 18 ------- Scribble on Dora with your stylus to cover her in fairy dust, and then rub the microphone to transform her into a princess. --- The witch approaches Dora, mistaking her for the snow princess. The witch tells Dora that the snow forest has nearly melted, and there is nothing she can do about it because she cannot smile. --- Game 19 ------- Rub the microphone 3 times to break the witches spell. --- Dora and the game cast, excluding the witch, appear in a group thanking you for your help. --- Game 20 ------- Collect 10 magic crystals by moving up or down on the plus control pad. Don’t worry if you miss any crystals, they will just reappear in front of you.
