I will not be able to post the illustrations here so it's always good to check the list beforehand. - There will always be three Lost and Found items per day and as long as it has not been acquired, a Lost and Found item will remain in the game. - The locations of the Lost and Found item is usually going to be within the area of the story missions for that day. - You can load the day where you've missed a request item. Meaning, you don't have to be in a hurry to solve these unless you hate rewatching cutscenes. - If you're having trouble relating the clue to the blanks for the answer, just check the number on the target item (labelled FSR). There's a 1, 2 or 3 on top. - All Lost and Found targets use the yellow green pin jack (Type-H). - If you have a running chapter and you backtrack, find an item and save, the item will be listed and solved in your latest save file. However, this will make you lose whatever progress you have in the latest chapter. Lost and Found Reports [LFREP] 1. Truck's Spare Tire [REQ00] Location: Back of Peter's gray truck (there's only one gray truck so it's hard to miss). Count the number of tires in the gray truck nearby. Answer: 6 2. Stone Statue Location: One of the twin baby statues beside the gate, the one on the right. The hint mentions the twins reaching adulthood on their birthday so we have to know what age is considered as an "adult". In some countries, it's 18. But in Japan, the age of adulthood is 20 so adding the twins age together would result in...? Answer: 40 3. Miniature Giggs Location: Right-side, beside the door of your car, Giggs. Add the number of vehicles in the parking lot. Answer: 7 4. Picture [REQ01] Location: Painting in your room, left-side, beside the TV shelf. Notice that the words LOSPASS and LUNATICS are written using squares. Count the number of corners per letter. It can be tricky since you'll also have to count inverted corners, like for example the "+" in LUNATICS has 4 corners. Answer: 02264024 5. Cards Location: After your bedroom becomes haunted, check the desk beside the door. Base it on the values of playing cards. And add them up. A(ce) = 1 J(ack) = 11 Q(ueen) = 12 K(ing) = 13 Answer: 37 6. Slippers Location: Bathroom in your hotel room, left side, in front of the mirror. One of the easiest riddles, just treat the scribbles as if it were written in reverse (hold the DS in front of a mirror if you have to) and voila! Answer: 2354 7. Miss Hanayama's Ring [REQ02] Location: At a corner at the rooftop, near the lower left corner of the bar. This needs some computation. So imagine a brick with the 1x2x4 volume and try to fit it in a cube of a uniform 10cm. 1 x 2 x 4 = 8 cubic CM 10 x 10 x 10 = 1000 cubic CM 1000/8 = 125 L W H However, if you visualize stacking the 1 x 2 x 4 brick in a cube, there would be one brick that would not fit. So, subtract one from the result. Answer: 124 8. Lighter Location: From the 4th floor hallway, the left corner at the end of the hall past Room 406. Again, another math computation. Using ratio, the given are: Sue (30 minutes to clean 100%) = 30:100 Mati (20 minutes to clean 100%) = 20:100 If you simplify this, you will get: Sue = 3:10 Mati = 1:5 This means that within 3 minutes, Sue finished cleaning 10% of the corridor. Within 1 minute, Mati has finished 5% of the corridor. If Mati were to clean within 3 minutes, she would have finished 15%. COmbined, they finished 25% of the room in 3 minutes. So to clean the whole corridor (100%), they just need 12 minutes in total. 25% x 4 = 100 3 minutes x 4 = 12 Answer: 12 9. Toy Horse Location: Rooftop sunning chair beside Yayoi. If you wait until you get the "Model of Hotel Sign" from request 44, you can count the lightbulbs and compute it then. If not, the solution is... Answer: 248 10. Wallet dropped in Chiba-Chiba [REQ03] Location: Power Lunch Restaurant, rooftop. Pretty straightforward, just answer the questions correctly. 0 for No and 1 for Yes. Answer: 0100 11. Address Book Location: 3rd Floor hallway, across Room 305. Check near the plant and table at the end of the hall. Refer to the position of the letters in the alphabet. E = 5 and L = 12, so together it's 512. Answer: 512 12. Mask Location: El Crasher's Room (Room 304), at the closet door across the bathroom entrance. Check p.38 of the Guidebook, it mentions that the hero's name is "Lumberjack". Spell his name using the given table. Answer: 25743610 13. Grasshopper Cocktail [REQ04] Location: Power Dinner bar, if you're facing Locke it's the leftmost table. Count the number of chairs in the bar. Answer: 12 14. Hat from Hotel Staff Uniform Location: Second floor hallway, across room 201, left flower pot. Count the number of cocktails in the Guidebook (p.31) Answer: 6 15. PC Location: Maria's Room, facing the balcony door it's on the left-side, on the bedside table. Add the temperatures of the cocktails in the Guidebook (p.31) Answer: 133 16. Excellent Vintage Wine [REQ05] Location: Left side of the tub in your hotel suite, near the closed off toilet bowl. Check the ingredients of the Grasshopper on p.31 of the Guidebook. Subtract 10ml from the Peppermint Green and add 10ml to the Fresh Cream. Answer: 152025 17. Swimsuit Location: Check the sunning chairs opposite Yayoi, rooftop. Count the number of sunning chairs in the roof. Answer: 8 18. Movie Pamphlet Location: Bar in the Lobby, beside the Balboa Brothers. Check the running time of the Balboa Brothers (p.33) which is 1hr32 minutes, then convert that to minutes. Answer: 92 minutes 19. Record [REQ06] Location: In the lobby, check the jukebox beside the bar. The riddle mentioned Symphony No.9 "From the New World" and R-03. So load Request 3 (R-03) and read what it says on the loading screen. Answer: 95 20. Mr. Charbonie's Pot Location: Charbonie's room (room 404), check the vase to the left of the TV. So Mondo's Room is 402, add ___ and you'll get Charbonie's room number. Answer: 2 21. Pinball Token Location: Go inside the Power Lunch Restaurant, check the last table in the row of pinball machines. Check p.43 of the Guidebok and scroll down to the Lospass Mob formation. The goalkeeper is Kinsky, which makes option 3 the correct answer. Answer: 3 22. Ms. Akai's Makeup [REQ07] Location: The bathroom in Yayoi's suite (Room 204), left side of the sink. Turning the faucet once would be equal to 360 degrees. Turning it twice will result in how many degrees...? Answer: 720 23. Yukata Location: Room 304, El Crasher's room. Check the red magazine on the table in front of the TV. The upside down riddle said "???PASS", so how does one write "LOS" upside-down and in number form? Answer: 507 24. Black Suit Location: Mondo's Room (Room 402), check the closet door across the bathroom entrance. How many days has Mondo been using his suit? Answer: 8 25. Bowtie [REQ08] Location: Door leading to the rooftop. " Pi" is a math constant that is the ratio of any circle's circumference to the diameter. What is the value of Pi? Answer: 3141592653 26. Musical Score Location: Check the set of candles to the right of the altar inside the church. Count the total number of candles inside the church. On each side of the altar is a box of candles. Answer: 12 27. Coconut Location: Check the pole beside the church, on its right. Count the number of rooms per floor. No need to go around manually, just refer to p.22-23 of the Guidebook (or this FAQ). First Floor = 0 Second Floor = 4 Third Floor = 8 Fourth Floor = 7 Fifth Floor = 0 Roof = 0 Answer: 048700 28. Pendant [REQ09] Location: Check the Church's closed gate. Page 10 of the Lospass Guidebook mentions that the church was built on 1954. Answer: 1954 29. Highway Reciept Location: Take the left highway (opposite the accident), past the beach and then check the Parking Lot's closed gate. In p.18, the Guidebook mentions that the Lost and Pass Highways were completed 15 years ago. Answer: 15 30. Eleking Model Location: On Elecki Island, go around the first building you see. It's in the farthest corner. The number in the center is the sum of the numbers surrounding it. Answer: 32 31. Diner Pamphlet [REQ10] Location: Head towards the direction of the airport, past the diner. Check the signpost that looks like a flag. It has the diner's sign on it (an orange square sign). A "dozen of each cocktail" is mentioned in the riddle, so in p.31 of the Guidebook we have: 1) Earthquake 2) Grasshopper 3) Silver Bullet 4) Spring Feeling 5) Blue Lady 6) Red Eye 6 x 12 = 72 Answer: 72 32. Diner Bronze Statue Location: Left post in front of the Diner, near Ken. The riddle says "check the fortune telling page", so take we just have to take it literally. Answer: 47 33. Beach Sandals Location: Near the front of the pier to the right-side leading to the boat. 9 1 ? 2 2 Multiply both left numbers first, then multiply both right numbers. Finally, multiply both results to get the number in the center. 9 x 2 = 18 1 x 2 = 2 18 x 2 = 36 Answer: 36 34. Blue Moonstone Pendant [REQ11] Location: Climb to the top of the Lighthouse and check the moon. The first hint is in counting the numbers "3335341435" you get an even 10 numbers versus the number of letters in MONDO which are 5. So by grouping the numbers into 2, you get: MONDO = 33 | 35 | 34 | 14 | 35 At first, checking the position of each letter in the alphabet seems the likely choice for the second number of each group (ones place) since it gives us: M = 13 O = 15 N = 14 D = 4 O = 15 However, checking SUE will net you: S = 19 U = 21 E = 5 Which is incorrect. Notice that there are no nines in MONDO. With that hint, we know that the boundary of each value will be 5. For those of you familiar with finger math, this would be a bit easier to understand. Use your hands to tick off the letters. Imagine that your left hand corresponds to the tens digit of the result and the right hand corresponds to the ones digit. FOr this example, we'll use the second and fifth letter, O. O = 35 Tick off the letters with the fingers on your right hand. Every time you "reset" or go past five digits (or for most of us, raise the pinky), raise one finger on your left hand. In this case, the end result should be: LEFT HAND: 3 RIGHT HAND: 5 So with this method, the result for SUE would be: SUE = 44 | 51 | 15 Answer: 445115 35. Crocodile Skin Bag Location: In the Lighthouse area, hug the left area until you come across the bridge's wood beam. Pass underneath, go down the steps and check the corner of the shed. Check p.33 in the Guidebook to find out when "A Frontline in Louisiana" was made. Answer: 1998 36. Stuffed Horse Location: Go outside the hotel and take the left intersection when you see it. Facing the transhbin area, check the right side of the lone trashbin on your right. Conveniently for this request, it's night time. You just have to count how many lights are lit up under the palm trees that are lined up. Answer: 7 37. Movie Pamphlet [REQ14] Location: 5th Floor, inside the cinema projector room to the left of the entrance. Check the upper left corner of the room. How long does Front Line in Louisiana last? Check p.33 in the Guidebook. Answer: 132 38. Edo's Diary Location: Inside the room that Edo takes you to (beside the lobby reception), check the bookcase that is closer to the screen. Just count the number of days in four years, keeping in mind that a leap year occurs every 4 years. 365 x 3 = 1095 + 366 (leap year) = 1461 Answer: 1461 39. Half-Pants Location: After the first half of the story mission, you get Catherine back. At that point, go straight to the end of the road and check the gate near the security terminal. Based on the first set of numbers, subtracting the number in the right box from the number in the left box would give you the middle number. x = missing middle number 82 - x = 37 82 -37 = x 82 - 37 = 45 82-45 = 37 Answer: 45 40. Record [REQ15] Location: Check the jukebox beside the bar at the lobby. COunt the number of scratches in the record. Answer: 15 41. Wrist Watch Location: Upper right portion of the first garden maze, before the U-shaped turn to the exit. Group the first two numbers together and subtract the third number. Mr. Mondo's room is 402: 40 - 2 = 38 Miss Hanayama's room is: 204: 20 - 4 = 16 Mr. Crasher's room is 304: 30 - 4 = 26 Which means: Miss Akai's room is 408: 40 - 8 = 32 Answer: 32 42. Miniature of Ruins Location: After you've passed the three mazes, you end up in the ruins. Check the large pillar, the wall beside the nurse. Subtract the number in the middle box from the number in the left box. 5 - 3 = 2 10 - 7 = 3 Which means: 16 - 1 = 15 Answer: 15 43. Fruit Basket [REQ16] Location: Check the flower pot to the left of Mondo's bedside table. Sorry, for this problem, I had to use trial and error, I wish I could give you a faster solution. If anyone has a better way of solving this, feel free to send me a message and I'll give you credit. Given: x divided by 7 remainder 3 x divided by 11 remainder 7 x divided by 13 remainder 1 x/7 + 3 = 87*(x/7) + 3 = 609 + 3 = 612 x/11 + 7 = 55*(x/11) + 7 = 605 + 7 = 612 x/13 + 1 = 47*(x/13) + 1 = 611 + 1 = 612 Answer: 612 44. Model of Hotel Sign Location: Go through Power Lunch to the back of the hotel and, facing the doors, check the stairs on the left (right after the first landing). The request mentioned that the hotel is also called "Star-Shaped Hotel" and there is a whole article with that title in the Guidebook (p.24). In the last paragraph, Igol Ishizakaski said "it might be time to add stars to these THREE other features that so represent Lospass Island". Answer: 3 45. Aloha Shirt Location: On the first cottage that you see, go up the stairs and check the entrance. The number in the center box is the sum of the numbers around it. Example: 1 + 4 + 2 + 3 = 10 5 + 5 + 11 + 12 = 33 So: 1 + 3 + 29 + 17 = 50 Answer: 50 46. Collar [REQ17] Location: You'll have to get past the cave maze in Eleki Island first. After that, you end up on a boat, check beside the dog. You will have to treat each side as a "starting point" and count the number of routes that you get from the starting point. Do this row by row, from left to right. The only way to do this that I know of is to manually count the paths using your stylus. If you have an easier way to do this, you can drop me a message and I'll give you credit. :D The numbers on the left, outside the grids count the number of alternate routes you could take if you you would take one of the vertical lines inside the grid. The number on the vertical lines indicate the number of routes if you were to take a straight and then down-right path. The number on the horizontal lines indicate the number of routes if you were to take down-right paths without going straight. The "1"s indicate going straight down the right when you reach the bottom. Pudding Location: In Power Lunch, check the upper right corner of the table to the right of the ceiling fan. To find the volume of the 12-sided cylinder, we need to get the area of the base (multiply Pi to the radius squared) and then multiply it to the height of the cylinder. Remember to round off Pi to a whole number so that the result would also be a whole number. Pi: 3 Radius: 5 (the diagonal length divided by 2) Height: 3 3 x 5^2 x 3 3 x 25 x 3 75 x 3 = 225 cubic CM Answer: 225 48. Champion Belt Location: At one of the dead ends of the the cave in Eleki Island. Go straight until you come to a fork in the road, take the left tunnel twice, then take the center tunnel twice and finally take the right one to the dead end. Check the farthest wall for the request item. Since the hint is a "right angled triangle" and we know that the general right angle uses the Pythagorean Theorem (a² + b² = c²), we can use that formula to get the answer. If a and b are legs, c is the hypotenuse: a^2 + b^2 = c^2 Example: 12 -> 3^2 + 4^2 = 5^2 9 + 16 = 25 25 = 25 So: 30 -> 5^2 + 12^2 = 13^2 25 + 144 = 169 169 = 169 Answer: 51213 49. Diner Menu [REQ18] Location: At the Diner, enter the kitchen (where you can find Mati). Head to the end of the room to the lounge and check the table. In R-10, Mondo got to talk to Mati in the Diner and she mentioned what she was cooking. Unfortunately, Mondo never got to eat that delicious lunch. Answer: 2 50. Toilet Deodorizer Location: After you have diffused the androids, exit to Gate 2. After talking to the flight attendants, head to the Men's bathroom (with a G) and check the third urinal on the right. Group each set of numbers by twos. Now multiply the first group (first number x second number) and the result will be equal to the second number. There is one set that has the wrong second group. Example: 5420 54|20 5 x 4 = 20 3927 39|27 3 x 9 = 27 Answer: 9840 51 Model Aircraft Location: Take the Elevator to the 1st Floor of the Airport. From the elevator, check in the middle of the second row of seats to the right. Multiply both numbers on the top boxes, then multiply both numbers on the bottom boxes and finally multiply both results to get the center number. Example: 8 x 1 = 8 3 x 4 = 12 8 x 12 = 96 2 x 4 = 8 1 x 8 = 8 8 x 8 = 64 So: 7 x 10 = 70 6 x 10 = 60 70 x 60 = 4200 Answer: 4200 ___________________________ Prizes [STPGT] 1000 steps - X Search System Open Press X Button 5000 steps - X Search System MAX UP 10000 steps - X Search System MAX UP 20000 steps - X Search System MAX UP 30000 steps - X Search System MAX and Charge Speed Up 40000 steps - X Search System MAX UP 50000 steps - Sound Test Mode Open 75000 steps - Movement Speed UP Press L or R Button to run fast 100000 steps - X Search System Fully Open 510000 steps - All Open Game Clear - Costume Change Open and Extra Costume 1 (Peter Costume) Get Lost and Found 06 & 23 - Extra Costume 2 (Traditional Japanese Outfit) Get Lost and Found 09 & 36 - Extra Costume 3 (Horse Costume) Get Lost and Found 12 & 48 - Extra Costume 4 (Skeleton Costume) Get Lost and Found 14 & 25 - Extra Costume 5 (Hotel Manager Costume) Get Lost and Found 39 & 45 - Extra Costume 6 (Hawaiian Vacation Outfit) Get Lost and Found all - Extra Costume 7 (Travis Touchdown Cosplay) To use the costumes during your first run-through of the game, you'll need to accumulate 510,000 steps for the "All Open" prize. What I did was I pinned the tip of the stylus on the DS touch screen to make Mondo run (I used a Hori triple DS/GBA game case so it's a bit heavy) and wedged thick paper in between the DS and the stylus. After that, just leave Mondo running for a few nights and you'll be sporting the NMH look in no time. ___________________________ To all the readers: I hope that this FAQ helped you in some way!
