These are represented by a star icon in the information screen. the first number shows how many thrills the ride has achieved and the one right of it tells what the maximum amount of thrills the ride can achieve is. the red circle around the happy face next to the minimap is the Thrill-O-Meter. Once it's full, you can open a new park. -Thrill Store There is a Thrillville store, where you can buy coasters, rides, stands, and staff. Use the Shopping Cart icon on the shoulder pad or click on an empty plot of land and tap the build icon to access the store. The first are missions that count towards advancing the story. The second is a way to unlock bonuses, new rides for your park, and keeping sure your park is as fun as it should be. They can be accessed by the missions button (the envelope on the shoulder buttons). xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 5. Story xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [This means an unlock] This is a kid's game, so don't expect anything serious. A. Thrillville Fantasy ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Let's begin. You start out in Thrillville Fantasy. The game works through the story mode through "Mystery Missions." Press L or R to move the top screen to the bottom (an innovative feature) and access the board, among them your Mystery Mission messages. Tap the mail icon to access your first message-you have to find five help statiosn, which will teach you the basics of park mamagment. These are Talking, Dialogue, Camera, Centerpeices, and Thrills. [Small Wooden Coaster blueprint and 1000 Thrills] Once you finish this you can contact Sam Handy, Thrillville's investigator who is looking into the current mystery. Go see him-he is the shiny dot on your map. Aparently the mascot of the park, a princess, seems to think she's a frog. he tells you that Willy Wombat found something suspicious in the park, but good luck making him give it to you. ["The Dragon's Breath" and 1000 Thrills] Thrills. Talk to Willy, who says he found something near the staff trailers, and that he'll only give it to you if you manage to beat him at Whack-A-Wombat. Easy. Beat him and then get what he found-a Hypno Disk. [500$, 1000 Thrills] She's still acting like a frog, but you propose building a really "Big" special ride to shock the system. Monty the robot suggests building Wizard's Wand, only the plans are missing. Betty Buttress seems to have them. [Extra-Large Wooden Coaster blueprint, 1000 Thrills] Get to the girl to find out that the plans aren't finished, and aren't sceduled for completion until next week. Yo prompt her to finish them today. Only, you need to beat her at air hockey. Sigh, are minigames the solution to any problem? [The Wizard's Wand, 1000 Thril Points] The plans have been recovered not a moment too soon. Thrillinia has begun chasing flies! :P Build the ride on a spare plot. She snapped out of it for a few moments, but that was short-lived apparently. [Ferris Wheel Upgrade 1, 1000 Thrills] Go to her and talk to her. Convince her and snap her out of it. After she snaps out of it, she tells you that the least thing she remembers is Willy showing her some disk. [Ferris Wheel Upgrade 2, 1000 Thrills] He cracks even before you start asking. Apparently they threatened to make his whole family frogs. He employer was someone from "Globo-Joy." [Alley-Oop WHOA section, Princess Thrillinia Plush] B. Thrillville Frontier ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before starting at the new location you watch a cutscene of a Globo-Joy board meeting. The clown in charge seems to care more about profit margins then thrills, but one of his members speaks out, asking about happy guests. Seems he has something in mind for every Thrillville Park and mascot. When you arrive you see that the park's mascot, the sherrif, is missing, and guests are running rampid and scared through the park. A kid named Billie was cited as having last seen Sherrif Six-Shooter. go to him and talk to him, er, her. He's been scared so badly he's hiding, and the kid knows where he is. Go over to her, and she askes you in some weird wild-west way to play Donkey Derby with her to get the information you need. [Wooden Coaster section, 1000 Thrill] After beating her she tells you that she saw him near one of "those big displays." ["The Rattlesnake Shake," 1000 Thrills] Find him on the mini-map and talk to him. He seems scared as hell at you, and is really paranoid about getting attaked by bandits. So your solution is to build a cowboy-type coaster. ["The Sand Spinner," 1000 Thrills] Build the newly unlocked Snad Spinner in a spare plot [Medium Steel coaster blueprint, 1000 Thrills], only it breaks down REALLY quickly. Play the mechanic minigame and fix the ride. The engeneer girl, Betty, comes over and says that it was sabatoged, with the plans being altered during its build. Something called a Fear-O-Matic 3000 was incorperated into it. That solves the guest problem, but Sherrif also blabbed about how they'de already nailed several people. So you propose that perhaps there realy ARE bandits here... [Extra-Large Steel Coaster blueprint, 100 Thrills] Checking your e-mail shows that the sherrkif wasn't kidding. Now that the fear emulator is gone, he's started rodeoing up them, but three still need to be found by you. Not that hard to spot-just clowns in bandit costumes. [Max Spin Upgrade 1, 1000 Thrills] The bandits are obviously agents of whoever sabatoged the park. Go interogate him. [Dizzy Dervish WHOA section, Sherrif Six-Shooter Plush] C. Thrillville Villiany ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Another flash-over. Mr. X is angry that his troops have failed him so far. But "Reaserch and Development" has had better results, perfecting the thing which will "bring Thrillville to its knees." Well, Mr. BAD, the park's mascot, has aquirred henchmen, and they're NOT Thrillville employees. In adition someone has stolen the latest WHOA section blueprints. This could be disasterous! Go to Mr. BAD and speak with him. He will be evilly discussing taking over the world with his two (CLOWN!) henchmen. You want to build "The Braainwasher" to see what effect it will have on him. ["the Brainwasher," 1000 Thrills] He thinks your an evil spy sent to steal the plans from him, but building the Brainwasher should righten the situation. [Steel Coaster section, 1000 Thrills] Negociate with him. Get the plans back. ["The Weather Machine," 1000 Thrills] Your next job is to engage Sinister Tim and The Plunger, Mr. BAD's henchmen, in a game so as to distract them from Mr. BAD while Sam searches them for the hypno disk they must be using to control him. You get it off the second one. In order to force de-duplicacy by creating the original, you have to build the blueprint-a medium water coaster. [Medium Water Coaster, 1000 Thrills] Build it [Sled Slinger Upgrade 1] Using the Hypno Disk, go to the two minions and talk to them. They won't budge, and are wearing "Hyno-proof contact lenses," which makes the disk useless. But they do mention a certain Mr. X. [Gushing Gyser WHOA section, Mr. BAD Plush] D. Thrillville Chills ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before you arrive you are treated to another cut-scene at Globo-Joy. Mr. X is making a huge deal over who ate the last jelly donout. He pushes everyone out and talks to himself, calling himself (or is it his imaginary friend?) Blabbo. He seems to have found another way to foil your plans... Well, Thrillville Creeps has been flooded by ghosts and ghouls, more so then guests. Only thing is, none of them work for Thrillville. Bitey the Vampire should know something. Talk to him; he's convinced he really IS a vampire. Sam is really creaped, and won't help until you play a game with him...sigh. [??? Upgrade 1, 1000 Thrills] Beat him at Frantic Fishing. To distract the guests while Sam works on the case, you have to build a WHOA-equipped coaster. ["The Haunted Hose, 1000 Thrills] Build the coaster ["The Screamin' Deamon, 1000 Thrills] Well, apparently all of this stemms back to a Psuedo-Phantomizer thingie, so build a Haunted House to counteract it. [Helter Skelter Upgrade 1] Next, build two pizza stalls to de-hunger the gouls walking around. [Extra-Large Water Coaster blueprint, 1000 Thrills] It sorta work, but 5,000 Thrills are still needed to break the effect for good. Only Bitey is still looking to bite someone, so go over and talk to him. [Bumper Cars upgrade 1, 1000 Thrills] Snap him out of it and finish the missions. [Split Personality WHOA section, 1000 Thrills, Bitey the vampire Plush] E. Thrillville 2525 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, at Globo-Joy...mr. X is frustrated by the state of things. That kid, Johnson, speaks out again. Mr. X had just finished some sorta strange-looking mathingamobob that "will finally bring Thrillville to its knees." You enter the park to find that Rory Rocket, the mascot, thinks the park is being invaded by aliens. Sam tells you that there are Alien Clowns all over, but none of them are actual Thrillville employees. You talk to Rocket, but he seems to believe it's all a conspiracy theory. [Water Coaster section, 1000 Thrills] You spot Willy the Wombat in the park (remember him from Fantasy), but you first need to build a Pizza and Coffee stand to lure him out. [Oktopus Upgrade 1. 1000 Thrills] Beat him in a round of Whack-a-Wombat to make him spill the beans. He seems to say that the disapperances are linked to the aliens around here (no duh). He also says he overheard a few discussing a Re-De-People-fier. The solution? A WHOA Coaster of course. [Chainsaw Upgrade 2, 1000 Thrills] How is that even related to this intrique? Anyway, build the coaster. Aparently, one of the aliens wants to talk now. ["The Frantic Frequency," 1000 Thrills] The "alien" seems to be enjoying himself now, and tells you that the experimental machine teleports people not to the alien mthership, but to Blabo. He's hoping to teleport someone with the plans-boy have we fallen on hard times, haven't we? Your suggestion is to try and make the park so thrilling" the guests resist teliportation. [$500, 1000 Thrills] After the park gets good enough, it works, but Rory Rocket is still convinced about an invasion. ["The Vortex," 1000 Thrills] Convince him to knock it off, [Blazing Omega WHOA section, 100 Thrills, Rory Rocket Plush] F. Thrillville Pirates ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ah, yes, finally, the last Thrilllvile Park. The story is reaching its end. Meanwhile, at Globo-Joy, you discover that the clown that gave you the information towards Mr. X's infernius end is no more then the unabiding Johnson. Mr. x seems pretty pissed about the slip. After getting dunked in water by X's clowns, Johnson seems pretty amazed that Mr. X claims he hadn't given it his all yet. X also slips up that his name starts with 'Ver.' You arrive with the park in a mess. The park sucks, and there are mines all over the place, boring your guests to tears. Your solution is to build 10 new atttractions. Sam suggests checking on Pirate Pete, the mascot. [Scare-O-Plane Upgrade 2, 1000 Thrills] Convince him there's no curse. His ship is missing and they're preparing a new ride called Pirate's Booty, but in the meantime you have to - sigh - score 130 points at Sparkle Pop. [Inverted Coaster section, 1000 Thrills] Once you do so, ["The Pirate Boat," 1000 Thrills] build the ride. You need to go talk to Sam again. [The Octo-Pulse, 1000 Thrills] He says that they parachuted in recently, and they use some Voodoo-Doodoo-Doodad to bore out people. Your solution is a huge WHOA coasster-Inverted! [X-large Inverted coaster blueprint, 1000 Thrills] And now you plan to challenge one to a game, with the doodad going to the winner. [Gyroscopter Upgrade 1] You talk to him, but he seems to blown over by the coaster to really listen. It's some advanced prototype-wow, what a coaster! It sends out non-harmonic waves of Moly_Jorium, aka Bad Mojo. It has random effects, all bad, on what it encounters. Beat him at Frantic Fishing and get the doodad. After a bit of funny dialogue. [Wacky Windmill WHOA section, Pirate Pete Plush] And so the threat is over. ...Not a very epic ending... xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 6. Minigames xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx There are 7 fun minigames in this game. They can be accessed in four ways. You can build a stand in your park and play it, challenge guests to a game on one, play it with friends on Party Mode, or play it alone on Party Mode. Air Hockey ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Basically this is a game of air hockey. Use your stylus to move your paddle and knock the puck into the other player's goal zone. The game ends when your opponent gets 3 points. Tips: -During your opponent's serve or when they are shooting a powerful shoot, stay near the goal area to lure away the puck and bounce it out of your goal area. -Be aggresive. Shoot the puck and then bounce it quickly near the margin to change its direction. This will suprise a player and especially the computer. -Faster puck shots are harder to control, but if they go right are much more likely to squeeze through. This goes against you to, however, becuase if they can punch it back it'll hurtle towards you at great speed. -Try bouncing it off walls. Donkey Derby ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- use the stylus to shoot the balls into the holes. Score 3 balls in a row and you'll have the option to block an opponent or give yourself a boost. The more you score, the further your Donkey will travel. Tips: -This game requires a steady hand and lots of practice. In order to win you have to steadily shoot the balls into the slots without missing, and use the small "boost" or "sabatoge" bonuses to give you a small edge. Frantic Fishing ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Use your stylus to drag and sort the colored fish into their respective water tanks. This is a franctic "sorting" game. Tips: -This game requires quick fingers. It's common to mess up, or to select one fish when you wanted another because they are so crowded togethor. That's how the game usualy ends, so look out for it. -On easy level there are only red and blue fish. Medium adds green, and Hard adds yellow. The more colors the easier to mess up. Sparkle Pop ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Use the stylus to throw darts at the ballons on the Top Screen. Hit Usagi-san for big points. Tips: -In this game you are shooting blind, so it really requires experience with how hard you have to throw, and a steady arm because moving it slightly to one direction dramatically alters its path. -You can shoot five darts in every set. The balloons come in, you throw five darts, then the balloons leave and replace by a new set. Because of this the polint is to take down as many ballons as possible. -At certain intervals, usagi-San passes through. It's a large, distinctively shaped balloon that is worth 15 points instead of the usual 5 points. Wait for it to pass in front of another balloon before shooting in order to net 20 points from one throw. Thrill Hoopz ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- use the stylus to drag and throw the ball into the Hoopz to score points. Gold points are worth more points. Tips: -You have 60 seconds to score as many hoops as possible. You have an unlimited amount of balls, so throw them quickly but accuratly. Normal balls are worth 10 points, rare golden balls are worth 30. -On easy the net is stationary in the middle. On middle the net moves slowly, and one hard it moves in a circular fasion. It's not that hard to figure out the amgle of the shot you need. -Treat the ball lightly. It doesn't need much power to make the hoop. -You can spin the ball before shooting it by twirling the stylus up or down, which means that it will bounce around more violently on the rim if it hits it. Putt-A-Hole ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Use the stylus to align the putter and then putt the ball into the hole for a hole in one. Brown balls are worth more points. Tips: -In order to score points you have to get a hole-in-one. Normal balls are worth 10 points and brown balls are worth 30. -On Medium you have to surmount a slope, and on hard you have to surmount a very large slope. This complicates power calculations. -Give the ball a nice, solid whack, but be sure to find the right angle first. There is a very small margin for error here. Whack-A-Wombat ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A variation of Wack-A-Mole, use the stylus to whack the wombats. Beware of evil Platypuses: they'll cost you points if you hit them. Tips: -In order to beat the scores your stylus should be flying. The only tip I have is to avoid the platypuses at all costs. The higher the difficulty level, the more often the platypuses appear and the less time the Wombats spend above. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 9.
