INTRO +=+=+=+=+ This game, though it has 'Tamagotchi' in it, has nothing to do with actually caring for a virtual pet. This game is a VERY unrealistic shop simulation where you work with a Tamagotchi partner and serve Tamagotchi. The controls are ultra simple, just get your stylus and tap the screen! So what's unrealistic? Well, you don't pay taxes and you don't have to think about profits etc. Well it's just meant to be a fun game anyway! You choose a partner- Mametchi, Memetchi or Kuchipatchi. Which partner doesn't matter. The only differences are what items are unlocked, what shops you start with, what the background for the pause menu is like, your character's voice and the speed in the Live House. +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ 2. THE CARE MODE +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ The Care Mode (in French it says 'Maison' which means 'Home') has nothing to do with care! Honest! That's why I think French makes more sense in this game... lol. And the Peach Floor (which is purple in colour) is the Purple Floor in French! Mind you, I restarted my game before I started this, so this is incomplete. Some items seem to be only accessed by connecting. The top tab is Snacks, let's see what items are available. You'll unlock more items as you go along. It's images, I'm writing words so you have a brief idea of what awaits you. If a word has a question mark it means I can't see the grouping properly. This will take a while, due to laziness, I'll start the Store section. +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ 3. THE STORE MODE +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ The main part of the game! Okay, you will start with two shops. As you upgrade them, you will unlock more. Here are the shops you will unlock (it depends on what partner you picked at the beginning): Mametchi- Dentist and Cleaners Memetchi- Flower and Bakery Kuchipatchi- Takoyaki and Spa Here is my guide to the shops. Chou Jinsei Enjoi! (Enjoy life to the full! At least that's what I think it means!) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~3.1. ぱっちの森 (Patchi Forest)~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Takoyaki Shop （たこやきやさん）~ Tabs (top to bottom): Oil, dough, ingredients, pick, layout. Oil Tab- Oil. Oil the hot plate to avoid burning. Oil one area for each Takoyaki you will create. For example, if you want to create three Takoyaki, oil three areas. Put enough oil in so the oil isn't so light. Dough Tab- Dough Pour the dough to make Takoyaki. Pour one in each mould you've put oil in. Ingredients Tab- Yeast, ginger, crouton, green onion Put requested ingredients. To put that in better words- put ALL ingredients! If you want a bad rating, don't bother putting the ingredients on, but you'll need to put the yeast (octopus thingy) on or you'll never finish the job. Pick Tab- Pick Turn the dough to arrange the Takoyaki's shape. Make a circular motion to make the Takoyaki into a ball, then do it again to turn the Takoyaki brown. Layout Tab- Chocolate sauce, seaweed, mustard, fish flakes, layout pick Layout the Takoyaki as requested. BanDai really means, use all things here. Use the layout pick to drag the Takoyaki on the tray to the bowl (this is EXTREMELY important) and dump all the other layout ingredients on. ~Spa Shop （おふろやさん）~ Tabs (top to bottom): Firewood, water, bath powder, shampoo, drink. This shop is an 'answer to the Tamagotchi's needs shop'. Check the water temperature meter above the bottom pool. Keep this centered. If it's too high, use the water tab and pump water into the bottom pool. If it's too low, chop some firewood. Occasionally Tamagotchi will jump down into the bottom pool and ask you for something. Respond to their needs using the bath powder, shampoo and drink tabs. If a fire icon appears, they're too hot, and if an ice icon appears, they're too cold. ~Accessory Shop　（アクセサリーやさん）~ Tabs (top to bottom): Necklace, brooch, stones, nuts, threads. Necklace tab- Teardrop, circle, figure 8, circle with 1 pendant, heart, circle with 2 pendants. Select the form of the necklace if it is a necklace you're making. Be very careful! It is easy to mix up the teardrop with the circle and get no smiley faces as a rating. Brooch tab- S, 4 point star, W, "flower", star, ??? Select the form of the brooch if it is a brooch you're making. Stones tab- Circle, circle and hole, hexagon, teardrop, square, straight bead Basically you just select the stones you need and drag 'em on the correct spot in the necklace/brooch. Nuts tab- Acorn, grapes, strawberry, cherries, mushroom, green thing Same as the stones tab. Threads tab- Thread Use the thread to draw a continuous line through all the beads. If all the beads move neatly into position when you take your stylus off the touch screen, you know you did it right! If not, try again. ~Flower Accessory Shop　（おはなアクセサリーやさん）~ This shop is unlocked after getting the Flower Shop and the Accessory Shop to Gotchi. Tabs (top to bottom): Necklace, brooch, crystal, flower, threads Necklace tab- Teardrop, circle, figure 8, circle with 1 pendant, heart, circle with 2 pendants. Select the form of the necklace if it is a necklace you're making. Be very careful! It is easy to mix up the teardrop with the circle and get no smiley faces as a rating. Brooch tab- S, 4 point star, W, "flower", star, ??? Select the form of the brooch if it is a brooch you're making. Crystal tab- Flower, flower with no center, triangle, ), +, straight line Like the accessory shop, just touch and drag onto the correct spot. Flower tab- Five leaved flower, pink flower, teardrop flower, circle flower, flower with leaves, big green flower Like the crystal tab and the nuts tab in the accessory shop. Threads tab- Thread C'mon. If you got this far, from beating the Accessory Shop, you should know how to do this! (If you're still clueless go look at the Accessory Shop.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~3.2.　まめシテイ　(Mame City)~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Dentist　（はいしゃさん）~ Tabs (top to bottom): Toothbrush, treatment, wadding, implant, injection Toothbrush: Toothpaste in green, red, blue, yellow and orange If the patient has coloured dots on their teeth, choose the same colour toothbrush and brush to remove the dots. Treatment: Drill, tweezers If the patient has an X on their tooth, use the drill to remove the X (this will create a hole in their teeth and expose the Cavity Fairy). When the cavity fairy comes out, use use the tweezers to drag her to the bin. Wadding: Wadding in green, red, blue, yellow and orange When you've gotten rid of the Cavity Fairy, fill in the hole with wadding the same colour as the hole. Implant: Tooth If the patient is missing a tooth and shows some dotted lines where the tooth should be, drag a tooth there. Injection: Injection If the patient is crying, tap around and see where to give an injection. The patient will then stop crying (?) ~Cleaners　（クリーニングやさん）~ Tabs (top to bottom): Detergent, stain remover, iron, applique, sew Detergent: Blue, white, orange, red, green and yellow detergent Match the correct colour detergent with the colour of the clothes in the washing machine. Then grab the washing machine's knob and turn it around and around until the clothing comes out. Stain remover: Brown, red, orange, yellow, green and blue stain remover Match the colour stain remover with the stain and repeatedly tap the stain until it's gone. Iron: Iron Move the iron around the wrinkles and keep ironing until the wrinkles have been smoothed out. Applique: Heart, mushroom, rabbit face, flower, shuriken, leaf appliques Choose the applique the same shape as the hole (I know, it's strange). Sew: Brown, red, orange, yellow, green and blue threads Choose any thread and just thread the applique to sew it down. ~Live House　（ライプハウス）~ Tabs (top to bottom): Songs This shop is different! There's only one tab, and 6 instruments. The six instruments are: the tambourine, the triangle, a pair of hands, something the game calles a cuica, a bugle and a gong. The song tab displays the song and the instruments to tap. When the little winged Tamagotchi symbol lands on a picture of an instrument, tap that instrument! The speed varies depending on who you chose as your partner. ~Dental Salon　（めいくはいしゃさん）~ Another combination shop! This time it's Dentist + Hair Dresser. Tabs (top to bottom): Tooth brush, glaze, characters, accessories, silver. Tooth brush: Tooth brush Just to erase mistakes. Glaze: Pink, orange, red, blue, purple and green glaze. Keep wiping glaze all over the tooth until it sparkles. Characters: The alphabet, plus some extra characters, colours Select a colour to change the colour of all the characters. Then touch and drag the characters. Accessories: Strawberry, bow, heart, diamond, clover and star Touch and drag. Easy. Silver: Lightning bolt, skull, knife (?), G, star, + Carve away all the extra silver... then touch and drag... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~3.3. 　ぐるぐるタウン(Guruguru Town)~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Hair Dresser　（ヘアメイクやさん）~ Tabs (top to bottom): Move, makeup, eyebrows, eyelashes, accessories Move: Shift, rotate, reverse Use Shift to move something, Rotate to spin something around and reverse to flip. The one you'll NEED is Shift, you'll never HAVE to rotate or reverse anything so I question why they're there. Makeup: Makeup remover and makeup Use the makeup remover to get rid of unwanted lines and makeup on the face. Select Makeup, then a colour, and get drawing on the face where needed. But you can run out of makeup. Removing makeup with the makeup remover gives you more makeup. Eyebrows: (Different kinds of eyebrows) Choose the desired eyebrows Eyelashes: Same as eyebrows Accessories: Hats, jewellery, headgear, accessories, hair, glasses Drag the correct accessory to the correct spot. ~Bakery　（クーキやさん）~ Tabs (top to bottom): Flavour, topping, cream, icing, knife Flavour: Melon, vanilla, mint, chocolate, banana, strawberry Select the flavour of the cake you want. Topping: Holly, candle, mushroom, strawberry, star, flower Select what you need and drag it to the correct spot. Cream: Melon, vanilla, mint, chocolate, banana, strawberry Just get drawing! If you hold the stylus in the same place, it makes a big cream swirl. You can run out of cream. Icing: Green, white, blue, brown, yellow, pink Again just get drawing, no cool effects, but it runs out too quickly... Knife: Knife If you ever need to cut the cake, just draw along the dotted lines. ~Flower Shop　（おはなやさん）~ Tabs (top to bottom): Flowers, scissors, wrapping, ribbon, decoration You can be asked for big or small bouquet, or the customer doesn't specify the size. If you need a small colourful bouquet, choose a flower of every colour (make sure they're all single flowers) Flowers: Red, pink, orange, yellow, white, blue Select a colour, and a type. You can touch and move flowers. This is the ONLY tab you'll need. Scissors: Scissors Got the wrong flower? A tab you might need, but probably not too often. Wrapping: Pink and stars, pink stripes, blue snowflakes, white and spots, yellow and green stripes, green and white spots Choose a wrapping and a style. Ribbons: Red, pink, yellow, green, white, blue Again choose a colour and a style. Decoration: Feathers, bumblebee, star and moon, tomato, blue rectangle, pink heart Just to make your bunch look cute ;) +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ 4. WIRELESS COMMUNICATION +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ There are two ways to wirelessly connect: Demo and gift exchange. ~Demo~ From the main screen choose "CM" and then "Start" On the receiving DS, go to DS Download Play and select "Tamagotchi Connexion: Corner Shop" You can unlock items by sending 1 demo in a row, 2 demos in a row and 4 demos in a row (if I remember correctly) ~Gift Exchange~ From the main screen choose "Care", then "Secrets" then "Gift". Choose to give or receive. Whatever you choose on one DS you must choose the opposite on the other (obviously). If you choose "Give", choose a food to give (only food, sorry). Then "Yes". On the receiving DS, choose the name of whoever you're receiving it from. If you send enough presents, you get extra items! +=+=+=+=+=+=+ 5.
