Smarter AI ********** The AI has gotten smarter. this means they won't attack APC's/T-copters/landers when they get the chance. They have a better timing with their Co powers and they use them better. when the unit has low HP, they decide to kamikaze the unit (example: BH 1HP infantry attacks OS 10HP Neotank), i don't know why they do that. I guess they use that to fill up their power meter. they are now affected by FOW as well. Advance Wars Dual Strike has different modes, all explained beneath: Campaign ******** The story mode of AW DS. I must say that the storyline has improved since AW2. there are now 3 save slots instead of one. you can earn coins for battlemaps here. and after you complete campaign, there is Hard Campaign War Room ******** these are maps which gives the computer the advantage. they range from 1 vs.1 to 1 vs. three. do you think that you got what it takes to beat 'm? try them. you can earn coins here as well.*** Versus ****** play against your friends or the computer here. good for hours of fun. Survival ******** fight through 11 maps with different limitations Money survival: battle through 11 maps with 500000 g. Time survival: battle through 11 maps in 25 minutes Turn survival: battle through 11 maps in 99 turns. Combat ****** a real time game. different from the main game but still fun and challenging. Move infantry 3E. next day: Attack the two infantry with your units, that should do it. 300 Pts S rank. Mission 2 The New Black OS: Jake BH: Jugger difficulty: * Strategy: move your 1hp infantry into the APC and move it 2S 4E. Move tank all the way west. Attack enemy tank with atillery. next, attack the tanks with atillery when possible, move tank towards the bridge. Drop infantry onto HQ. Again, attack tanks when possible. Move tank to plains above the right city. Last, the enemy should have joined the 4hp tanks into a 8hp one. Finish the job with the atillery. 300 Pts S rank. Mission 3 Max Attacks OS: Max BH: Lash difficulty:** Strategy: spread the B copters over the map so that the Black bombs damage will be minimal. Next, move a B copters towards the bridge to stop the Md tanks. Join the damaged units. Move the T copter over sea towards BH HQ. Attack infantry with B copters, damage tank with mech and move T copter to BH HQ. M ove Mech onto BH HQ. attack all units possible. damage Md. Tanks with the B Copters. Destroy Md. Tank, attack tank, destroy infantry and start capturing HQ. Now on day 6 you'll have the choice of capturing the HQ of routing the enemy. I chose rout. 300 Pts S rank. Mission 4 Reclaim the Skies OS: Rachel BH: Jugger difficulty:* Don't let the time limit fool you, this mission can be easily completed in 2 minutes. First, destroy Battle Copter with Missile, attack tank with Rocket, finish it with your tank. Use the three AntiAirs to attack the fighters and bomber. Next day, destroy remaining units with AntiAirs. 300 Pts S rank. Mission 5 Neverending War OS: Jake BH: Koal difficulty: ** General Strategy: Build tanks first, then Atillery. lure the Md. tank with a tank and blast it with the atillery. As long you have 2 Atillery you should be fine. Build tanks as you wish. The rest should be easy after the Md tank falls. 300 Pts S rank. Mission 6 The Ocean Blue BM: Colin BH: Lash difficulty:** First, move the copter to a place where the cruiser can't attack it. then, attack cruiser with rockets and attack enemy rockets with the Battleship. Load infantry into APC and load APC and tank into lander. Move lander south. Attack enemy sub with cruiser. Move sub and Dive. Next day: destroy cruiser with Rockets and destroy sub with sub. attack B ship with B copter. move lander 3S 3E. Move B ship 1E. Day 3: attack B ship with sub and battle copter. move b ship. into position to fire on rockets. Move lander 3E. Last day, destroy rockets with B copter, and destroy the lander with sub and Rockets. 300 Pts S rank. Mission 7 Fog Rolls In BM: Sasha BH: Koal Difficulty:** move infantry 2E to reveal Atillery. Move recon 1N1W to attack atillery. Move B copter 1N 5S to destroy atillery. load mech into APC and move 2S 3E, drop on mountain. Move rockets 1S 4E. Atillery 4S 1E, tank 4S 1E Anti-air 1E 5S. day 2, attack tank with B copter. Attack recon with rocket. Finish recon with infantry. Move A-Air 1S 5E to destroy atillery if not destroyed previous day. Move tank all the way east, atillery 4E and APC 2S 4E. day 3, destroy tank with tank, move A-air 4E into woods. Move recon 1S 6E. Move APC 3E 2N start capturing city with infantry, move rockets and atillery all the way east. day 4, move B copter 1W to attack tank, move tank 3E 1N to destroy it. Move APC 3E. Destroy infantry with rocket and atillery. Attack enemy APC with A-air and recon. Finish capturing city and move mech 2E. End day day 5, Move APC 5N to reveal atillery. Attack it with B copter and recon. Kill mech with tank and AntiAir. Move mech 1N 1E. Mission 8 Tag Battle OS: Max BH: Jugger and Lash difficulty: ** since day to day walkthroughs work no more from now on so you'll get an general strategy instead. Don't worry you can still get an 300 pts on this mission. First, make some tanks to take out the piperunner. after that it's easy to get the bases near the pipe and in the middle. after you got them, go fir the airport. spam tanks with the left and middle bases and make a bomber. By the time they use their TAG, they should have nothing left that can do some real damage. 300 Pts S rank. Mission 9 Victory or death. OS: Jake and Rachel BH: Koal and Lash difficulty: *** You can't advance to the middle base while the fortress it still up, so sent all your fighters to the top screen. Build tanks to destroy all enemy units at the left side of the middle base. After that, continue to make tanks and bombers when you can, (deploy some AntiAirs for the B copters) when you have the money. When the Fortress falls, advanc to the middle base and recapture it. By the time you did that, you'll have a few bombers and a good ground force. So then you TAG, you should destroy everything you can before you shatter the crystal. 300 pts. S rank. Mission 10 Black Boats Ahoy OS: Jake and Rachel BH: Kindle difficulty:*** NOTE: be aware that you are not standing on or next to a city or base when Kindle's meter is almost full. Okay, move sub east and dive. Move lander 1N and load infantry into APC into lander. attack atillery with recon. move both mechs 2E. Move A-air onto the bridge. APlace aillery left from bottom mech. infantry an bottom tank all the way east and remaining tank 1S 5E. Day2 and further, move sub east. move lander to enemy HQ. move all units east and attack when you can. drop APC with infantry when you can and wait with capturing the left neutral cite after Urban Blight. after dropping APC, load two most powerful units to destroy Atillery. destroy B ship with sub asap and destroy the black boats after that. 300 pts. Mission 11 The Long March OS: Jake and Rachel BM: Sasha and Colin BH: Jugger and Koal difficulty:*** not much to say here. capture is easier here than rout but it's your call. move mech into APC and send it togther with tank and recon towards HQ, taking out the enemy tank, infantry and atillery. Meanwhile attack with the rockets and atillery when you can. Cripple the Neotanks and Md. tanks first. with BM, you'll want to attack everything in sight and use Sasha's COP to delay BH TAG power. S rank. Mission 12 Lightning Strikes OS: Jake and Rachel YC: Grimm and Sensei difficulty:*** FIRST: TURN AUTO CO OFF!!! Another Dual Screen battle. Send the AntiAir to the upper screen and the key of winning this battle is owning the isle witrh the silo's so, send a APC with a infantry ASAP and use the silo's on the isle before they can. While your APC is racing towards the isle, make some AntiAirs and send them to the upper screen so make it easier. defend with the units at the upper screen while you attack the copters with A-airs. By the time you own the isle, you should build units from that base and go and capture the airport. Ater winning the second front, you'll have a TAG power to cripple Grimm. Just be sure you'll use Rachel first and mop them up. the rest should be easy. 300 pts S rank. Mission 13 Frozen Fortress OS: Jake and Rachel BM: Sasha and Colin BH: Kindle and Jugger difficulty: *** OS: deploy infantry first two days to capture Com towers ASAP, the base and city's. After that make tanks and send them south, with APC backup. So when you c-aptured all properties nearby, keep producing tanks and capture the north east city for the LAB MAP. BM: capture city's and airport. make tanks and B copters. use Market Crash to delay enemy's TAG power. mop them up together with OS. Should be and 300 pts S rank as well. Mission 14 Lash's Test OS: Sensei and Grimm BH: Lash Difficulty:** (yes only two stars) this mission is fun, but only available if you got the lab map in the previous mission. But you should. First, send the B copter to the island to attack the seem. transpoty the mech and infantry to the Com Towers to begin capturing. Once you've broken the seem with the B copter (the seem on the right) switch to Grimm. ADVANCE SLOWELY, after you get to the left pipe seem area, attack it with a neotank to free the Black Bombs. And keep a APC nearby. now you've freed the Black Bombs. unlease hell on Lash's units and mop them up. the rest should be easy. 320 pts. S rank. Mission 15 Verdant Hills OS: Grimm and Sensei BM: Rachel and Jake GE: Javier and Jess Difficulty: **** Not much to say here. The AI is very random. OS: deplay infantry to capture properties. then mass produce tanks to halt the enemy. BM: attack all unit's you can see. Attack strongest one first and capture the com towers. thats very important. The airport can help too. just make good use of the woods and attack the units you see. Rachel's SCOP helps a lot!! use skills if needed. Good luck. 300 Pts S rank Mission 16: Snow Hunters Enemy CO: Hawke Recommended COs: Rachel and Javier At the start, move a rocket north to cover the base and the other east to cover the other from infantry trying to capture them. Move the artillery northwest also. Take a infantry/mech and put it in the lander and send it to the island south and capture the comm tower and city. The city contains a map to a secret level. Move tanks to the lower left where there is a gap in the pipe. Wait for Hawke to send his units to you and shoot at his units with indirect units. Once most of his units are destroyed move west to destroy the minicannons. Mission 17 Spiral Garden OS: Sensei and Grimm BH: Kindle difficulty:**** first with Sensei for the transport copters. Advance ASAP to take the furthest properties away. support your infantry in T copter with tanks. Replace infantry with mechs later. When the infantry/mech are transported, switch to Grimm. Keep taking properties and guard the capturing the infantry with tanks and atillery. Be sure to get the airport. Bombers rule in this mission. continue on capturing properties and you'll win. 300 Pts + 10 for every seem you destroy. S rank Mission 18 Omens and Signs OS: Jake: upper front, Rachel: lower front. BH: Koal and Jugger. Difficulty:**** I love this mission. Don't worry about the upper screen, just adapt to the lower screen. the Black Arc will be destroyed eventually. just don't attack the canons before it's destroyed because it'ss do one to zero hp damage. First send all fighters but one to the upper screen. next, move all land units south. To the south west corner of the map. you'll want the base there. move your indirects south and load your APC with mech. destroy the seem with indirects to drop the STEALTH FIGHTER. do this fast because the cruisers are attacking your carriers. YOUR CARRIERS MUST LIVE. after your Steaths are you of the south west carriers, hide them. destroy everything in the south west corner and capture the base. use the invisible stealths to attack the pipe seems of the other carriers. about the naval and air: take out the enemy fighter by luring it towards a carrier. take the soutern rocket OUT! attack naval units when possible and build them while possible. keep B copters out of ememy cruiser range. When the southern rocket has been taken out. move land units all the way east. help to destroy the pipe seems to drop the Stealths. By the time you dropped all stealths the Black Arc should fall and you'll have a nice TAG, which you'll use to take out the minicannons. 300 pts. S rank. Mission 19 Into The Woods. OS: Rachel and Jess BM: Sasha and Sensei BH: Kindle and Lash Difficulty: ***** NOTE: NEVER place a strong unit (neo or megatank) next to a wood. There are two Oozium in this mission that can move 1 space but can destroy a unit complete by devouring it. Because it can even destroy a unit completely when they have 1 hp, only attack it when they will be completely destroyed. let's begin, OS: move your units towards the east. ADVANCE SLOWELY. you don't want to lose your megatank to a oozium. But use the woods.along the road. the oozium OS will have to kill will show up on day 2. so be warned. advance while killing units in the woods. when the Oozium shows up. kill is by surrounding it and attack it with mechs. Neo and mega tank. after the oozium is killed you don't have to worry about oozium for orange star no more. BM however, get to kill one. Back to OS, you'll want to kill the enemy mech before it reaches the silo's. March up to enemy HQ. when you reach the silo's, fire them on the enemy HQ because it'll hit 2 Md. tank and a neotank BM: because you have indirects, make use of the woods. and remember that indirects are not very effective on ooziums. you'll have to deal with 2 B copters as well. so proceed to enemy HQ slowely, trying not to lose any units. When the oozium shows up: remember that it can't destroy you when it's not directly next to you. so destroy it with indirects. with OS and BM marching up, destroy all enemy units and the crippeled Neo and Md. tanks. 300 Pts. S rank. Mission 20 Muck Amok Enemy CO: Koal Recommended COs: Jess and Javier There is no real strategy for this mission because the oozium move in relation to your more powerful units. Make sure to attack an oozium from all 4 sides. Also bring Hawkes units toward yours so that they dont die. You may want to get the com towers on either the north or east on your position. Once the ooziums are dead, either destroy his missile or capture his HQ. Mission 21 Healing Touch Enemy Co: Kindle and Jugger Recommended COs: Jess/Javier and Hawke/Lash This mission is also very easy. All enemy units are at 1 health, but will heal 2 health after every turn. Take out all of the strong units that are within your reach before they have a chance to heal. Destroy the crystals as you work your way north. Once all the crystals are destroyed the mission will end. Mission 22 Crystal Calamity Enemy CO: Koal and Kindle Recommended COs: Orange Star - Grimm and Sasha Blue Moon - Max and Sensei Green Earth - Colin and Rachel To win this battle, you have to launch all nine missiles at the Black Onyx. Have Orange Star biuld infantry and tanks during the first few turns, to hold off the first black hole attack. While Black Hole is attacking send one infantry to the west silo. On Blue Moon's turn, move all units south. Save your money for a lander to get the silo on the island. Put the tank on the city on the eastern bridge with the artillery behind it to take out the midtank. Send one infantry to the southern silos. Quickly send an infantry south on Green Earth's turn to capture the silos, by building an T-copter. Launch as many as you can before the infatry dies. Also send an infantry to capture the airport near your HQ. Green Earth should also send some tanks to destroy the Black Cannon. After all the silos have been launched, have Orange Star build rockets to take out the Black Obilisk from behind the pipeline. ************************************************************************** Rpowers CC strategy ************************************************************************** Mission 22 Crystal Calamity Enemy CO: Koal and Kindle Recommended COs: Orange Star - Sensei and Grimm Blue Moon - Javier and Jess Green Earth - Sasha and Jake build infantry with Sensei and head towards the silos. Then when you can afford it the next turn, build more and start building Bcopters after that. Blue moon should build an atillery and take out the incoming Md tank. send infantry to the bottom to capture bases and com towers. Green Earth should build anti Airs, this was the black bomb will move towards GE instead. Further strategy: Repel BH with OS with copters and range attacks. Use GE to take out the black cannon with rockets. Buils more with OS and use TAG to destroy the crystal. Mission 23 Dark Ambition Enemy COs: Kindle and Olaf Recommended COs: Orange Star - Sami and Sensei Blue Moon - Eagle and Jake Green Earth - Lash and Javier Have Orange Star move the infantry and mech west to the silos and comm towers. Send all of Blue Moon and Green Earth forces east to the pipeline. Attack with long range units until they break the pipeline and when they do, attack with tanks and air units. Once the pipeline is broken, have Orange Star launch the silos at the enemy. Mission 24 Pincer Strike Enemy COs: Jugger and Drake Recommended COs: Orange Star - Sonja and Lash Blue Moon - Jess and Hawke Move all Orange Star units towards your northeast. Capture the surrounding cities. Do notmove Blue Moon's units until the fog appears. Then take out the missiles when it does. When Orange Star kills the enemy units near the comm towers, send an infantry over in the lander to capture the cities. Watch out for the sea units that make their way down the east side of the map. Start to move all units toward the enemy HQ. Blue shpuld take out the long range units and the infantry that try to come over the mountain, while Orange Star continues to move toward the HQ. Rpowers alternate strategy: since the AI is much more random than AW2, a step by step is not possible however, you might want Sasha as the blue moon CO because of her marker crash CO power to prevent the tagpower of the enemy. if your sasha is level 6 then you can give her the Pathfinder skill which will help in the woods. and give your CO's the High and Dry skill (level 7) andScout skill is reccommended too. so i reccommend for Orange star: Rachel (level 7) (skills: High and Dry; Pathfinder; Scout; Star power) Jake (level 7) (skills: High and Dry; Pathfinder; Scout; Star power) Blue Moon: Sasha (level 7) (skills: High and Dry; Pathfinder; Scout; Star power) Grit (level 7) (skills: High and Dry; Pathfinder; Scout; Star power) (if they are not level 7 use the survival mode to get them to level 7) now you want to be careful moving the first few turns because after a few turns fog of war will kick in, before Fog of War: for orange star: go capture a few properties, while being careful not to get into enemy range Blue Moon, move the rockets towards the edge of the woods while being careful not to get into enemy range. When FOW kicks in: orange star. turn devensive, let the units come to you while you are capturing and building a proper army, hide your fleet in the reefs because a enemy sub, cruiser and bship will show up eventually. keep your b copters safe, when the enemy fleet shows up, destroy the cruiser first with your bship and then attack enemy bship with sub and bcopters, attack enemy sub with your cruiser. Blue moon: if you have set your rockets and atillery to the edge of the forest, attack everything you can reach, killl the bship first!, when the enemy CO power bar gets full use market crash (sashas copower) at the beginning of a turn. when you have destroyed the first wave enemies with orange star and you have killed everything with rockets and such with Blue Moon, gop capture the nearby base and airport, then when you have the airport, build stealths. then you can manage the rest on your own, good luck. (BTW i managed to destroy every enemy unit instead of capturing the HQ!) Mission 25 Ring of Fire Enemy COs: Kindle and Kanbei Recommended COs: Grit - bottom screen Sasha - upper screen Have Grit move his long range units close to the mountains in the center so that they can fire at the units near the volcano. On the outer edge, head for the airport on the east side and the the base to the north of your HQ. If you are not controlling Sasha, put her in the defensive position. If you are then line up anti-airs in front with other units in the back. Send up two of Grits anit-airs also. Grit should also destroy the outer units before the units near the volcano, because the units inside the mountain range cant get out to destroy your long range. As for Sasha, keep her in defensive postion until the B-copters are destroyed, then finish of the rest of the units. Mission 26 Surrounded! Enemy COs: Kindle and Andy Recommended COs: Orange Star - Javier and Sonja Blue Moon - Sensei and Lash The objective of this mission is to capture the 4 comm towers. Have Orange Star capture the cities near the center and the enemy base and the ones close to it. Send some Blue Moon troops to capture the bases near their HQ then capture the comm tower. Then send all units north to get the last 2 comm towers. Be sure to either capture enemy bases or cover them, it will make the mission alot easier. Mission 27: For the Future! Enemy CO: Von Bolt Recommended COs: Orange Star - Jess and Javier Blue Moon - Lash and Sasha Green Earth - Eagle and Sensei Move Orange Star units north in a defensive position. I recommend building tanks and artillery while you hold off the enemy units. Dont forget to capture the comm towers. Do not move north until some of the minicannons are destroyed. Try to kill the units in one turn so that they do not heal with the crystals. Send 2 Blue Moon infantry units to capture the cities north. Do not move the sea units, wait for the enemy sea units to come to you. Position Green Earth units just out of range of the enemy air units. Do the same with the infantry as you did with Blue Moon. You may want to save some money with Blue Moon and Green Earth so they can buy more powerful units. When most of the Black Hole units are dead in the middle, move Orange Star units north towards the bases. Have Green Earth send a bomber around the pipeline and destroy the Black Obilisk. When you are Eagle it should be destroyed in one hit. Mission 28: Means to An End Enemy Co: Von Bolt and Kindle Recommended COs: Bottom Screen - Jess Top Screen - Rachel There is nothing you can do about the top screen since you cant control the top. Build infantry to capture the cities. Also build a B-copter and send it down to kill the infantry so they dont capture the cities. Then send 2-3 infantry down in T-copters to capture the cities. The giant oozium will spawn oozium out off its weak points every so often. Build strong units while you wait for the crystals to be destroyed on the top. Send them up and be ready to destroy the weak points when the crytals to fall. Congratulations, you just beat normal campaign. I recommend choosing Kanbei and Sami. Kanbei has a good strength which will help in some of the battles. Sami is good for capturing the enemy's HQ. There are a few things that are helpful to know before you start. First, time does not continue while it is the enemy's turn. Second, time does not continue during battle animations, but does continue during capture animations. It does not matter how many turns you take but if you take long deciding where to move or what to build, you will be short on time at the end. Red Heart: Mission 1, Enemy CO: Jugger First off use the 3-health mechs that can reach the neotank. Then when those are all destroyed use the 4-health mechs. If you use Sami, you have a chance at beating this mission in one turn. On Jugger's turn he will prpbably attack a 4-health mech. On your next turn, just use the mechs you have left to finish him off. Approximate Score Speed - 50 Power - 50 Technique - between 20-35 Frozen Pipes: Mission 2, Enemy CO: Olaf This mission is also very easy. Do not worry about moving anything except for the bomber. The artillery won't be able to attack you or escape. Switch to your second CO to attack the artilleries. Just bomb Olaf's units and you should finish in about 5-8 turns. Approximate Score Speed - between 45-50 Power - 50 Technique - 50 Bonus - between 10-25 (5 points for each pipe seam) Cape Splinter: Mission 3, Enemy CO: Lash You have very little units at the beginning, and you cannot build anything. Three out you units are black bombs, which only have one use. Wait until most of the enemy units are right next to you then black bomb them, and start to finish them off with your two tanks. He will try to move most of his units back to the crystal to heal. He will also move his artillery out of your units range, hoping to be able to hit them on he next turn. Approximate Score Speed - between 45-50 Power - 50 Technique - 50 Bonus - 20 (20 points for destroying the crystal) Lake Fever: Mission 4, Enemy CO: Andy This mission is very easy seeing that you have lots of cities, therefore lots of money. Just build rockets and take them over to the lake. Andy will try to move his units out of range so just keep building rockets and send them over. You may also want to build infantry to go for the silos. Keep in mind that he will not be able to attack your units. You may want to switch COs for the next battle. Approximate Score Speed - 50 Power - 50 Technique - 50 Open Road: Mission 5, Enemy CO: Sami This mission is also easy. First, load the infantry into the APC. Then move the recon to the northeast, out of the forest and move the APC into the forest. Sami will shoot at the recon you just moved, its no big deal just move it back to the forest before it dies. Then move the APC to the shore next to the recon that is south of your position. The battleships will not be able to hit you. Then move the APC into the forest one space to the right of it. You can move the recon that was in the forest one space to the north and the battleships will not be able to hit it. One your next turn, move the recon that is northeast of the APC's position, to the shore next to the forest the APC is in now. Then move the APC into the empty forest. Then, move the recon near you, to the east on space. Now the APC can move into that forest. On the next turn, drop the APC into the forest south of the enemy HQ. Then one the next 2 turns capture it. Aprroximate Score Speed - between 45-50 Power - 0 Technique - 50 The Middleman: Mission 6, Enemy CO: Hawke First, move the mid-tanks out of the space they are in and move the artilleries into those space. Keep in mind that there is a sandstorm, which means all units have a lower range. Do not kill the minicannons, if you are careful you should not be hit very many times. You should build rockets when you have enough money. Just keep using longe range units and you should be fine. Approximate Score Speed - 50 Power - 50 Technique - 50 Bonus - between 10-120 (10 points for each cannon and 20 points for the crystal) Stealth Fight: Mission 7, Enemy CO: Olaf First thing you should do is, load the infantry into the t-copter and move it south one space. Move all of your stealth fighters into the ocean and have them cloak. Continue to attack the ships with the stealth fighters. Be sure to move the infantry down to the missle silo. It will take a bunch of turns to finish off all of his units. Approximate Score Speed - between 40-50 Power - 50 Technique - between 45-50 Tactical Decoy: Mission 8, Enemy CO: Javier This mission is very annoying but is not very hard. You have lots of tanks in this mission but the enemy has lots of missle silos. He will continue using the silos until they are all gone. When the silos are gone, he will send his tanks up to where you are. This mission can be done in two ways. First, you can send one mid-tank south and group your other units together. He will use the silos on the units you grouped together and ignore the mid-tank. The other way is to spread your units as much as you can. He will still use the silos but he will not be able hit as many units with each. Then, he will bring up most of his units. Just finish them off as they come up. Approximate Score Speed - 50 Power - 50 Technique - between 30-50 Last Stand: Mission 9, Enemy CO: Colin This mission can be either very hard or very easy. First, move your rockets back one space and the mech back two spaces onto the mountain. Then move the APCs to the corner spaces behind your HQ. After that, move the mega-tank back onto the HQ and the neotank onto the city one space south of that. Colin will then bring his units over to you. Just keep shooting them and you should win. Your units can also gain HP from being on the cities. Approximate Score Speed - 50 Power - 50 Technique - between 40-50 Pursuit Plains: Mission 10, Enemy CO: Lash You start the mission with two infantry, and Lash has alot of 1-HP units. Use the infantry to attack the strongest unit possible. On lash's turn she will work on moving all her units back to the crystals. On your turn, start to build infantry so you can capture the cities. Then work on building the strongest units you can and just go and finish off every unit. Approximate Score Speed - 50 Power - 50 Technique - between 30-50 Fog Hunter: Mission 11, Enemy CO: Grimm If you are using Sami and have a tag power, this mission can be beat in 2-3 turns. Just load a black boat with an infantry to send north to his HQ. If you dont have Sami or a tag power, then just send units over the sea and around the bridge and either rout him or capture his HQ. Of course this way will take more time and be harder. If you have at least 5 minutes you should be able to accomplish this. Approximate Score Speed - between 30-50 Power - between 0-50 Technique - between 30-50 Congratulations, you just beat time survival mode. You will get a bonus depending on how well you did. You should have got an S or an A rank. You can now buy champion course for 1000 points at battle maps. This guide can be used for champion course because the levels are the same. Turn Survival ************* irst off, you must pick two CO's. I recommend choosing Eagle and Sami. Eagle is good on turn survival for his ability to move is units twice in one turn. Sami is good for the missions where it is easier to capture the enemy HQ instead of destroying all the enemy's units. Convoy Cape: Mission 1, Enemy CO: Drake I recommend puting an infantry inside each lander. Then move the southern lander as far as it can go to the east. Do the same thing with the northern lander. Then take the black boats and put one behind each lander. You do not have to move the T-copter. The enemy will attack the northern lander with the sub and most likely kill it. Then the cruiser will attack the south lander. On turn 2 move the southern lander down one space and to the east the rest of the way. Use the north black boat to block the sub and the south black boat to move somewhere between the cruiser and the sub. Drake will then kill the north black boat and attack the lander with the crusier. On turn 3 drop the infantry on the enemy HQ. From there just capture the HQ because they can do nothing about it. Approximate Score: Speed - 50 Power - 0 Technique - between 15 and 45 Cannon Land: Mission 2, Enemy CO: Koal To start the mission, build an infantry at the base and start capturing the cities with the other infantries. Koal will work on capturing the cities in his area. On your turn, save your money and capture more cities. When you are finished switch CO's so that your other CO can work on their power. On your next turn, build a piperunner and you can capture more cities if you want. Continue to move the piperunneras much as it can until it reaches the end. As long as you move it the full amount of spaces it will not be hit by a cannon. When you are close to the end of the pipe move to the second to last pipe space because if you move all the way the infantry will try to attack you. From here just finish him off. Approximate Score Speed - 50 Power - 50 Technique - 50 Bonus - you get a small bonus for each cannon you destroy (minicannons are worth 10 points and black cannons are worth 30) Mr. Fix-it: Mission 3, Enemy CO: Andy First move the battleship on the left of the screen to the right. You can start to heal the battleships with the black boats. It takes around 2576 gold to heal one health to a battleship. Next, move the battleship in the middle to the right 3 and up 2. Keep the other two battleships where they are right now and start to fire on one of the neotanks. Andy will start to move some of his units to the left. He will put an infantry in range of the missle silo. Do not try to kill the infantry because you will probably still live. Continue shooting the one neotank with the two battleships. Move the far right battleship to the right two. With the remaining battleship shoot at one of the infantry and heal some of your ships. Andy will use the missle on the group of ships on the right side. He will also load a infantry into the APC. On your next turn, finish off the neotank and heal your battleships. Do not heal your black boats because they can not attack so it is not worth it. Use your ships on the left to shoot the APC. Andy will unlaod the infantry on one of your cities. Use one ship to shoot it and finish it off with your infantry. continue to shoot at his other units, moving if necessary. Just continue to shoot at his units until you finish him off. Before you finish switch CO's for the next battle. Approximate Score Speed - 50 Power - 50 Technique - 50 Aircraft Hunt: Mission 4, Enemy CO: Sensei This mission is very easy. First unload the helicopters from the carrier. If you are using Eagle/Sami save their power for upcoming missions. Use your anti-airs to destroy two helicopters. Then end your turn. Sensei will move his helicopters into range of all your units. Just blast your way though all his helicopters. Approximate Score Speed - 50 Power - 50 Technique - 50 Rain of Pain: Mission 5, Enemy CO: Sonja Use your subs to find enemy units in forests. Make sure to make them dive or else they may be shot at with artillery. Shoot at the units you can see with your battleships and use your helicopters to attack also. If you are Eagle you should have your super CO power. Use it now to find more units and to kill more of them too. Do not use your tag power! Sonja will use her super CO power which does almost nothing for her. On your next turn finish off her units. Approximate Score Speed - 50 Power - 50 Technique - 50 Lone Wolf: Mission 6, Enemy Co: Koal If you have Sami and her super CO power use it or switch to her on the first turn and move on to the HQ to capture it in one turn. If not move over to the right base and capture it. Then save your money for a mid-tank. Then finish off his units, buying other units as you need them. Be sure to protect your HQ because he may try to capture it. Approximate Score Speed - between 25-50 Power - between 0-50 Technique - between 30-50 Fenced In: Mission 7, Eneny CO: Max First, move your stealth fighters to the north and south pipes and be sure to clock them. Then move your units onto the corner reefs, which are just out of range from the carriers. Then, start to blow off the pipe seams. It will take one to two turns to destroy the pipes. Switch to your other CO. Once the pipes are destroyed the bombers should be in range of the carriers. Once the carriers are gone he cannot attack you. Move your other air units in and start to attack his other units. It should take you about two to three turns to finish Max off. Approximate Score Speed - 50 Power - 50 Technique - between 30-50 (if your stealth fighters blew up from lack of fuel) Bonus - between 5-20 (pipe seams are worth 5 a piece) River Raid: Mission 8, Enemy CO: Javier If you are using Eagle and he has his CO power you should ude it sometime during this mission. First, move your artilleries and rockets in range of his battleships. Be aware that the sandstorm will lower your range, so if you are using Max you are going to have a tough time. Have the south neotank attack his black boat and the tank and mid-tank attack the battleship. Start to move your megatanks to the west. On the north side, but your ranged units in range of the battleship and attack the battleship with your tank and mid-tank. Use the neotank to attack the cruiser. Move your lander into the space where they would need to get to your HQ. If you do not they will move units over there, giving you an even tougher time. You can move your APCs to the west also to supply the units. If you want, use Eagle's power now. Then, when you can move his units again (either with power, or next turn), continue to move the megatanks to the west. Use the artillery to attack the battleships. Use the south neotank to attack the cruiser. Have the mid-tank attack the black boat that the neotank damaged. Then, use your tank to attack the carrier. On the north side, use the tank to attack the battleship if it is still alive. If it was already killed use it on the black boat. Have your neotank attack another black boat and the mid-tank to attack the lander. All Javier will do is use his super CO power, which raises his defence against indirect fire and move his units. Use your tanks on any weakened unit that it can reach. Just continue to use your tanks and you should be able to finish him off. Before you finish you should switch COs. Approximate Score Speed - between 45-50 Power - 50 Technique - 50 Crystal Field: Mission 9, Enemy CO: Kanbei If you are using Sami switch to her if needed. She should have her CO power. First, load a mech into each t-copter and start to work your way to the crystals. Move your other units randomly towards the crystal as they will be distractions as you work on capturing Kanbei's HQ. Drop yor mech so that it will be 4 spaces away from the enemy HQ. Then use Sami's super CO power if she has it. That way the mech will be able to move onto the HQ and capture it. If you are not using Sami or she doesn't have her power, move your rockets so that they can hit the artillery but cannot be hit themselves. Then destroy the artillery and the crystals so they cannot heal. Then use tanks and rockets to finish off his rockets. Approximate Score Speed - 50 Power - between 0-50 Technique - between 20-50 Bonus - between 20-80 (20 points a piece for destroying the crystals) Five Mile Isle: Mission 10, Enemy CO: Jake This mission can be done two ways. First switch to the CO who his either high defense or attack. The first way is to heal your b-copters (it takes around 900 gold to heal a b-copter one health) and attack his neotanks. The other way is to block off the neotank and move your mech to his HQ to capture it. Either way works and they both take about the same number of turns. If you are using Eagle, save his power for the next mission. Approximate Score Speed - 50 Power - between 0-50 Technique - between 40-50 Forest Frenzy: Final Mission, Enemy CO: Sonja You start with alot of units but Sonja has 8 black bombs which will bring most of their heal down to 1. This is where Eagle's super CO power comes in handy. Move all your units east and prepare to kill as many black bombs as you can. You should be able to destroy between 4-6. On Sonja's turn, she will use her super CO power and attack you with black bombs. She should only have a couple units left so just finish them of with anti-air and mid-tanks. If you do not have Eagle's super CO power, just spread out your units as much as possible. Then finish up whatever is left with your living units. Approximate Score Speed - 50 Power - 50 Technique - between 20-50 Congratulations you just finished turn survival mode. You should have got an S rank if you followed the guide. I will list all of the CO Combo's I believe to be effective, regardless of 
compatability. I will state my reasoning as well.

Olaf/Drake-9/10 effectiveness
This CO combo is one of my favorites to use, and least favorites to fight. It is
an extremely effective damage set, and is most effective in maps where air and 
sea units are in abundance. The fuel consumption is incredible during the tag 
power, and your opponent will find himself sucking fumes in no time.

Andy/Hawke-8/10 effectiveness
The ultimate healing combo. When the tag power is used, try to make hawke go 
first to maximize damage. Plus, if you go with hawke, attack an enemy and get
 damaged by the counterattack, andy will heal all of the damage done from it.
Most of, if not all of your men will be fully healed with the combined specials.

Kanbei/Lash-8/10 effectiveness
This is the best combo for those that enjoy using the classic "Hit and run" 
Technique. You use your tag power, damage as many units as you can with kanbei,
 then use Lash's turn to retreat to nearby mountains and cities. The enemy will
 do almost no damage to you, and you will have another turn with max damage 
afterwards.

Adder/Koal/Sami-7/10 effectiveness
These options are best for those that want to get capturing fast. With Adder 
and Koal, you will get your tag power ridiculously fast, so you can get in there
 and capture the HQ. Sami works for this as well. Use these if you enjoy having
 an insanely large ammount of freedom of movement.

Kindle/Lash/Javier-8/10 effectiveness
Another incredible defense combo. Replace kindle with Javier if there are Comm
 towers on the map. Throughout this entire match, if you use your tag and CO
 powers effectively, you will take minimal damage.

Hachi on any predeployed map-10/10 effectiveness
For obvious reasons.

Sensei/Hachi on any map with many cities-10/10
Just keep your funds up, and keep Sensei in the first slot. When you get your
 super power, move your mechs off of the cities in the direction of your enemy,
 and build as many powerful units as possible with Hachi. Nothing scarier than
 being right about to win, when suddenly an army of mechs with tank support 
appears out of nowhere. 

Hawke/Kanbei-9/10 effectiveness
A good overall battle combo. Use hawke to purchase units, and when your tag 
power comes around, you have rights to instant damage with hawke, followed 
by the power of god with Kanbei.
