Metroid Prime Hunters is not the best entry, but sure is an interesting one. In the four Metroid Prime games, there are hundreds of logbook entries and some of these you cannot get back to get if you've missed them earlier in the game. When I played Metroid Prime I used K_Kort's excellent spoiler-free and super short 100% Item/Scan Walkthrough. I used it as a checklist which ensured me that I didn't miss anything while playing the second time around. I know there is a similar one for Metroid Prime 2, but none whatsoever for Hunters. I even had trouble finding a list of these one- time-only-scans. So I decided to write an FAQ similar to K_Kort's. I've listed the scans/items in the most efficient route through the game that I can think of. When we come across a scan that is a one-time-only or in limited supply I will point it out. Every item is listed in its respective room. If you have trouble finding a scan or item I recommend copying the name of the scan and search for it in one of the great Walkthroughs at GameFAQs, I prefer MrShotgun's. Additionally, at the bottom of the FAQ I have compiled a list of all limited scans. If you follow the list below you should have 100% completion when you've defeated the last boss. Some scans are not listed below because they will automatically fill up your logbook when you get them. These include Shield Key and everything in the Equipment Logbook section except Hunter Gunship. If you choose to print this FAQ I recommend you to set font to Times New Roman, size to 8, divide the text into three slits, delete the whole introduction and print on both sides of the paper. Only one paper will then be needed and you can have it next to you while you play ensuring you won't miss anything.
