Triple H began his career in WCW as Terra Ryzing, a gimmick that went nowhere. He then left WCW for WWF, where he became the Greenwich snob Hunter Hearst Helmsley. He later shortened his name to HHH (Triple H) and became a leader of the highly popular Degeneration-X stable. After leaving D-X, Triple H set his sights on one goal; the WWF Heavyweight Championship belt. He would soon achieve that goal, becoming the federation's top heel in the process. ======================================== ==SECTION 2: SKILL AND PARAMETER STATS== ======================================== SKILL ----- Real Name..Triple H (Jean-Paul Levesque) FPD Name.......................Trouble J Promotion............................WWF FPD Promotion........................WFW Size..............................Medium Class..............................Heavy Height............................196 cm Weight............................112 kg Country..........................America Birthdate.....................07.27.1969 Stance............................Strong Offensive Skill.................American Return Skill........................Heel Critical Type...................Finisher Special Skill...........One-Hit Finisher Recovery..........................Medium Recovery (when bleeding)..........Medium Respiratory.......................Medium Respiratory (when bleeding)........Below Awareness.........................Medium Awareness (when bleeding).........Medium Neck Strength.....................Medium Arm Strength......................Medium Waist Strength....................Medium Foot Strength........................Low Movement Speed....................Medium Ascend Speed.................Medium Slow Ascend Skill..................Can Ascend PARAMETER - OFFENSE PARAMETER - DEFENSE ------------------- ------------------- Punch.............6 Punch.............6 Kick..............5 Kick..............6 Suplex............5 Suplex............6 Submission........3 Submission........3 Stretch...........4 Stretch...........6 Power.............7 Flying............8 Instant-P.........7 Crush.............6 Arm Power.........6 Vs Lariat.........6 Technical.........7 Technical.........6 Rough.............8 Rough.............8 Ground............5 Ground............4 TOTAL SKILL POINTS (on a scale from 0-300): 160 ======================= ==SECTION 3: MOVELIST== ======================= NOTE: This movelist is my direct translation of the Japanese Fire Pro D Player's Guide, there may be some minor errors. He approaches each match with unrivaled focus and intensity, thus earning the nickname "the Cerebral Assassin". When you play The Game, you play for keeps! Defensively, Triple H's Achille's Heel is in his legs (no pun intended). His foot strength is low, so opponents could focus on his legs to get him in trouble. (As you may know, Triple H suffered a real-life quad injury that kept him out of wrestling for the better part of 2001. The irony is that FPD was released _before_ the injury.) NOTE: According to ViperMask, Triple H's leg stats were set to low in FPD due to a history of knee injuries. Thanks to him for pointing that out! =) STRIKES If you can time it properly, the (X) + (A) Football Tackle is extremely efective. And of course, you should use Triple H's Jumping Knee from an Irish whip. GRAPPLES Triple H's grapple moveset is just awesome. DDTs, piledrivers, brainbusters, etc. If you can establish early success with the grapple, you'll be well on your way to success. Of course, it's all about working your way up to his signature move... The Pedigree - Triple H hooks both his opponent's arms (ala Tiger Driver), then lifts his opponent slightly in the air and drops to his knees, smashing the unfortunate victim's face and chest into the mat. To be truthful, I've have more success Critical'ing with this move than just about any other move in FPD I can think of. It probably has something to do with his "One-Hit Finisher" skill. ====================== ==SECTION 5: CLOSING== ====================== In closing, I would like to thank: * ViperMask, who borrowed my formatting for his great Tiger Mask FAQ. In return I borrowed some of his! =) * www.puroresu.com and www.wwf.com for historical reference. * www.gswf.org for Skill and Parameter stats. * CJayC and GameFAQs for hosting this guide.
