Greetings! ^_^

Welcome once again to yet another ending FAQ by yours truly (check out my 
other ending FAQs: SNK's The King of Fighters '98 and Samurai Shodown: 
Warriors Rage, as well as Capcom's Street Fighter Alpha 3). So you can 
say this is my fourth ending FAQ, and sixth in general (considering my 
two predilect FAQs: the story FAQs for the Street Fighter and King of 
Fighters series). 

Well, with that out of the way, I introduce you to the Street Fighter 
III: Double Impact ending FAQ, where you will find not only the *exact* 
translation of the endings found in both games included in the package 
(Street Fighter III: New Generation and Street Fighter III: Second Impact 
– Giant Attack), but also ALL the personal and special quotes. Could you 
ask for more? NO! I don't know how to select Gouken...so STOP ASKING!!! 
^_-

You know, this game was the first game I bought for the Dreamcast, so I 
can say it's pretty much an honor for me to do this FAQ! Well, you have 
heard enough of my senseless ranting. On with the show....

about the endings of Street Fighter III: Double Impact. This FAQ is NOT 
to be sold in any way possible, nor can it be published in any page or 
printed media (aka those lazy bums at EGM and such) without the 
permission of yours truly. This FAQ does NOT include gameplay info, so if 
you're looking for strategies, combos, or the like, go take a look 
elsewhere. If these rules are not applied, I'm sorry to say, but Gill's 
organization will send you an army of Shin Akumas and torch your house 
for everything's worth. Have you made you wish for Christmas yet? If not, 
I suggest a good contact in the other world!

extracted straight from the game, as exact and precise as humanly 
possible...why? I didn't tape the endings, mates! I had to WRITE DOWN 
each and every word of them with this right hand o' mine! Yes, I did 
finish the game about 3-4 times with each character. Yes, I did pass 
hours in the Versus option to get the personal quotes. Yes, I am a crazy 
fluke. No, I do not have a resevervation for the local nut house. Any 
other questions? ^_^

STREET FIGHTER III: NEW GENERATION
*************************************************************************
GENERAL NOTES:
-The personal quotes of each character (12 quotes in total) have been 
divided in 3 sections, depending on how you won the battle. If you won 
the battle quite easily (Perfect victory, or received a couple of minor 
hits), then you'll get one of the "A" quotes. If you won with a regular 
margin (some solid hits, half energy remaining, or a bit less), then 
you'll get one of the "B" quotes. If you won by a narrow edge (with a 
sliver of life left), you'll get one of the "C" quotes. 

-The special quotes (different for each character you defeat) usually 
appears after you've beaten your rival 8 times in a row. Alex and Oro are 
the only characters who take one of their personal quotes and uses them 
against their "alter-egos". Nobody has a special quote for Gill, but Gill 
does have one for every character (but not against himself, obviously).

-No matter what you do, you can't arrange a Yun vs. Yang match in NG. 
When one player chooses one of the Chinese Kung Fu brothers, the other 
player has to resign themselves to choosing the other brother (for 
example, if one player chooses Yun, the other player will have to stay 
with Yang).

ALEX
A "You hit the ground right when I was about to go berserk. Lucky!"
A "You say you were out of form? Your excuses are out of control!"
A "I always give my all no matter who I face."
A "Damn! Even my sparring partner lasts longer than that!"
B "You thought you had a chance? C'mon, everyone knows you're no good!"
B "I don't know where you trained yourself, but you didn't train hard 
enough. Those moves suck!"
B "Bluffing will get you nowhere against me. Talk's cheap!"
B "Just stay down, don't try to stand up. You look pale!"
C "Damn, I can't believe how poorly I fought. Next time, I will really 
beat the crap out of you!"
C "I didn't think I'd have such a hard time with you!"
C "You're tough, but you can't outlast the best."
C "You arrogant imbecile, you slacked off right at the end."

vs. Ibuki: "You're a pathetic excuse for a Ninja."
vs. Necro: "Your moves are as freakin' weird as you are."
vs. Sean: "You shouldn't use big moves you can't control, kid!"
vs. Oro: "Keep your temper old man! I'll ignore your piddly ass next 
time."
vs. Elena: "If you want guys to like you, you got to use those legs for 
something else."
vs. Ryu: "You.... You seem to live for the fight."
vs. Dudley: "You've got mighty body blows, but they'll never hit my vital 
organs."
vs. Alex: "Just stay down, don't try to stand up. You look pale!"*
vs. Yun: "Don't pick a fight if you can't hold your ground!"
vs. Yang: "You brothers are so hot-blooded! But you're both lamers."
vs. Ken: "You may be fast, but not fast enough to elude my fists."

* = No, this isn't a mistake. Alex takes one of his normal quotes to use 
it against his "alter-ego" (lazy Capcom again).

Ending:
(Discolored picture of Alex, in a room, sitting aside Tom, a bearded man, 
who is lying in a bed, filled with bandages. Aside Alex is Patricia, a 
girl with curly brown hair, wearing a dress. Patricia is clearly 
anguished for her father.)
Tom: "Are you going to hunt him down? I see it in your eyes...Alex, you 
don't need to avenge me.... You don't understand.... We fought, he was 
strong, and I was not. That is all. ...Fine. Go if you feel you must. 
Chase him and see the world for yourself...."
(Close-up of Alex with a clenched fist, looking deeply concerned. 
Patricia stands aside him.)
Alex: "Tom, please, you've said enough! It's over for you, please sleep!"
(Back to the original picture, Tom turns his head aside in the bed. Alex 
still looks incredibly worried, and Patricia moreso.)
Tom: "...I've said all I can, your path is your own. I feel tired, I must 
rest...."
Patricia: "Oh Daddy! Dadddddddy!"
(Screen turns white. Next scene is Alex standing on a New York street. He 
has a happy smile when he sees Tom, who is wearing a white shirt and 
black pants/jacket and with a walking stick, and Patricia at the corner 
of the street. Patricia is waving at Alex.)
Patricia: "Welcome back, Alex!"
Tom: "My student, you're back at last! I have waited long for your 
return!"
Alex: "Tom? No way!? Are you fully recovered?"
(Patricia hugs Alex. Tom stands behind her.)
Tom: "Any wound can be healed with time. ...And I see a new look about 
you, Alex. You have the face of a true man."
(Close-up of Alex's happy face.)
Alex: "You know Tom, now that this is all over, I have a new journey in 
front of me.... ...I feel the greatest fighters around the world still 
awaiting my challenge! I will face them!"

DUDLEY
A "No matter how many times we fight, I'll always pound your limy hide."
A "You're down already? The spectators have asked for their shillings 
back!"
A "I put the kettle on, but you can't even last through tea time!"
A "To err is human, but to win is noble."
B ""Cowards die often", or so it is said."
B "This was my finest hour!"
B "Another uncouth lout falls between my knuckles and the street."
B "Shall I awaken you with the waters of the Thames River?"
C "The British spirit is an indomitable spirit!"
C "Good show, but it just isn't in your blood."
C "It seems the grace of victory doesn't love you."
C "How could you have given me such a tussle! 'Tis just not my day. Time 
to go home!"

vs. Ibuki: "Not a bad go of things. I enjoyed it Samurai lass!"
vs. Necro: "At first you looked like a right good challenge. Looks can 
deceive eh?"
vs. Sean: "Such a greenhorn! You leave your temple wide open. Bad form!"
vs. Oro: "On my honor old man, I swear I didn't pull any punches!"
vs. Elena: "Pardon me for my violent behavior...lady...."
vs. Ryu: "Sad.... The land of the Samurai must have fallen with you."
vs. Dudley: "You dared to piss me off. Was it boldness, or stupidity?"
vs. Alex: "Ah, I just can't stand ill-mannered goons who ignore 
grooming!"
vs. Yun: "Your fighting skills are equal to...child's play."
vs. Yang: "When it comes to lightning actions, the speed of boxing is 
unsurpassed."
vs. Ken: "My apologies, but I have no chance but to maul sissy men like 
you!"

Ending:
(Dudley, seen from behind, stands in front of a kneeling Gill. Gill 
signals for Kolin, a blonde woman dressed in a secretary garment.)
Gill: "You've won, champion! I can't believe it, but a deal's a deal.... 
Kolin, give him back his car keys as I promised."
Kolin: "Yes sir."
(Kolin throws some keys towards Dudley.)
Kolin: "Here, take this.... And get out of here before the boss changes 
his mind!"
(Close-up of Dudley catching the keys.)
Dudley: "I sure whupped those hooligans! And now I got my Pa's car back!"
(Scene of Dudley gleefully driving down a country road with a fancy red 
car.)
Dudley: "Oh, duddy, I love this car! If only you could see this sweet 
machine in motion.... Whan a orchestral sound...the symphony of the 
engine, the soprano of the steering.... It's perfect!"
(Suddenly, the steering wheel comes off, much to Dudley's surprise.)
Dudley: "Ooops!"
(Dudley puts the steering wheel back into place, and gives the thumbs-up 
pose.)
Dudley: "No problem!" 

ELENA
A "What did you think of my finishing move?"
A "You don't have any rhythm!"
A "Maybe you should take up another skill! Why not try mountain biking?"
A "Did you let me win? No one can be THAT bad!"
B "I think we can be friends. You think so too, right?"
B "African earth is my teacher! You must learn to respect it!"
B "I felt your rhythm!"
B "Will you fight me again someday? I think it's wonderful!"
C "It was a great fight! I wanted it to last forever!"
C "I'll never forget about today's fight!"
C "I had a problem timing myself to your moves. Are you tone-deaf?"
C "I'm so pleased to have fought with you!"

vs. Ibuki: "You move like a wild animal, but have the quickness of a 
cat!"
vs. Necro: "You have incredibly long reach. But your moves are slow!"
vs. Sean: "You want to fight me again? You have the heart of a lion, but 
the power of a kitten!"
vs. Oro: "Are you O.K. old man? Are you hurt?"
vs. Elena: "I hate copycats!"
vs. Ryu: "Did I help you in your training?"
vs. Dudley: "Boxing is a beautiful sport! But this fight was no game!"
vs. Alex: "You're the man who has the wild eyes!"
vs. Yun: "You're young, but you're a respectable warrior!"
vs. Yang: "I can feel the eternal history in your moves. Next time, try 
harder!"
vs. Ken: "My dad told me to watch out for guys like you!"

Ending:
(In a Japanese village, Elena runs down an inclined street at high speed 
with her bike. She is dressed in a Japanese school uniform dress.)
Elena: "Dear dad and mom, how are you doing? I've traveled the world, and 
finally have found a place to call home. It's a strange country, but like 
father told me, "Friendship is universal"."
(Narumi, a girl with short light brown hair, glasses, and wearing the 
same Japanese school uniform dress, is also riding her bike behind Elena. 
She rides more carefully than Elena, and has a worried face.)
Narumi: "Elena, you're going too fast! It's dangerous!"
(Close-up of Elena's happy face, with cherry blossom leaves falling 
around her.)
Elena: "Don't worry! I can handle it. This summer vacation, I want to 
introduce my friends to you. Narumi is my best friend."
(Picture of Elena and her "human" friends with Elena's "animal" friends. 
Elena is in the middle, raising her hand and with a happy face, with a 
monkey on her shoulder. Narumi is hugging a lion cub. At the right, a 
girl with long brown hair and with a slightly tanned skin, contemplates a 
rhino with surprise. The rhino has some birds atop it. At the left, a 
girl with long black hair fixed in a ponytail and a ribbon looks at 
Elena, with a giraffe at her side. Behind them all, in the background, is 
an elephant.)

GILL
A "So weak! Are you trying to dull my fighting senses?!"
A "Are you paralyzed yet? You're way below my expectations, but that's 
nothing new."
A "You call yourself well-trained? Obviously humans follow the wrong 
leaders...anyone but me!"
A "If you trained harder, maybe you wouldn't fall so quickly. Pathetic!"
B "Look into my eyes! I'll carve the mark of defeat on your brow."
B "Ignorant of your own incompetence.... What a fool."
B "I held back, and still you cower on the ground like a peon. What a 
waste of human life!"
B "I should have been conquering the world, not wasting my time with the 
likes of you."
C "Not bad, but still you fall short of the perfection I embody."
C "You actually made me pay attention to this fight, for a moment."
C "You did well, for one of the sheep. Challenge me again when you learn 
from your mistakes."
C "I admire your courage, but you'd be a fool to stand against me again."

vs. Ibuki: "Ninjitsu is a rare style that I respect, but you make a 
mockery of the art. You have no chance."
vs. Necro: "I thought I granted you the ability to fight.... Obviously, 
you are defective."
vs. Sean: "Like a prayer without faith, your moves are incomplete. Your 
odds to win are 1 in a million."
vs. Oro: "You are powerful for your old age, but my ambition surpasses 
yours a thousand fold."
vs. Elena: "I respect you, passionate female warrior, but my respect will 
not save you!"
vs. Ryu: "If you let your troubled mind stand in your way, it doesn't 
take much to slaughter you."
vs. Dudley: "You cling to your sense of pride like a fool on a sinking 
ship."
vs. Alex: "You were only slightly easier to defeat than the one who came 
before me."
vs. Yun: "Chinese martial arts look beautiful. But, that is all." 
vs. Yang: "You and your older brother could have challenged me together, 
but instead you perish apart."
vs. Ken: "Your tongue isn't as sharp when you're lying prone on your 
back, is it kid? Where's your spirit?"

Ending:
(The camera scrolls a picture of Gill from bottom to top.)
"When the sun sets on the Soliton Mountain, the black moon will break 
into seven pieces and fall on the people of "Ultania". Nothing can 
prevent this.... Death and destruction will violate the land. Misery and 
suffering will assault the people.... Then, after 130 days of 
nothingness, a boy who controls the elements will come to save the 
people." –From the Book of Miraha 3:11

IBUKI
A "Useless try, you were beaten from the beginning!"
A "It was my destiny to win."
A "I don't think you can understand what Shinobi moves are all about."
A "I'm the best there is!"
B "There's no second chance in the real fight!"
B "Don't underestimate me!"
B "Devote yourself to your training!"
B "You don't have enough tenacity for the fight."
C "Now that you know the special move of the Shinobi, I cannot let you 
live."
C "Even though I won, it was too close of a fight!"
C "I'll beat you from behind next time!"
C "Hesitation in a fraction of a second can kill you...."

vs. Ibuki: "There is only one original!"
vs. Necro: "You use strange moves.... Are you a Shinobi too?"
vs. Sean: "You want more? A true Master knows when not to fight!"
vs. Oro: "May you live long, old man!"
vs. Elena: "You'll have big trouble if you fight in a half-hearted way!"
vs. Ryu: "As a Shinobi, I urge you to stop wandering around the world in 
that costume. It's confusing!"
vs. Dudley: "You can't accept your defeat? Ninjitsu is not a sport!"
vs. Alex: "So much for the Macho Stud! You've lost that power instinct!"
vs. Yun: "You are fast, but I am faster!"
vs. Yang: "Didn't I just beat your brother?"
vs. Ken: "Your cute charms won't save you from defeat!"

Ending:
(Ibuki is shown lying on a small grass hill, wearing her school uniform 
dress, aside her pet raccoon. The sun is setting. A close-up shows a 
thoughtful Ibuki with a piece of grass in her mouth. She recalls the 
moment when she defeated Gill: a black and white picture of Ibuki, seen 
from behind,  standing above a kneeling Gill.)
Gill: "It seems I've lost. As a man of my word, I'll keep my promise to 
you. Here is the G file! The project has already begun and there is 
nothing you can do to stop it! It is my masterpiece! You've gained 
nothing by obtaining the G file! It's a document of utter perfection. You 
should use it as a reference paper! Ha ha ha ha!"
(Back to Ibuki on the hill, a shadow nears Ibuki. Ibuki's eyes open 
wide.)
Ibuki: "I sense a presence! Someone is coming....."
(Ibuki backflips into the air.)
Ibuki: "Ya!"
(Ibuki lunges towards the screen, throwing several daggers. But as she 
descends, she realizes with shock that it is her friend Sarai, a girl 
using some pilot goggles and the same school uniform dress she uses. 
Sarai has managed to cover her head with her backpack, object in which 
the daggers stick themselves.)
Sarai: "Kyaaahh!"
(Sarai furiously swings her pierced bag in front of an ashamed Ibuki and 
her pet raccoon.)
Sarai: "What the hell? You shattered my bag and put holes in my text 
books! Are you crazy Ibuki!?"
(Ibuki, her pet raccoon, and Sarai walk towards the sunset. Sarai still 
seems ticked.)
Ibuki: "I'm so sorry Sarai!"

KEN
A "That was too easy!"
A "It's losers like you that make this game boring!"
A "I thought you had at least a little bit of potential! It seems I was 
wrong!"
A "I had an extremely good sense of how the fight would go!"
B "It was already decided that I would win!"
B "It's the fighting sense that matters. Time off will never dull my 
instincts!"
B "What a reckless man you are. Don't try to execute a jump-kick on me!"
B "Now you've learned how to kick your opponent!"
C "I must be getting old to allow someone of your weak ability to almost 
win!"
C "You hurt me, but I hurt you worse!"
C "It's not that you were good! It's that I wasn't trying hard!"
C "You were good! I almost broke a sweat...."

vs. Ibuki: "Did I do anything that makes you hate me?"
vs. Necro: "You're so interesting. Come back if you want to challenge me 
again!"
vs. Sean: "You must understand the basic rules of fighting!"
vs. Oro: "So you're looking for a disciple? Don't make me laugh! You 
should be my disciple!"
vs. Elena: "A lady like you should not act so violently!"
vs. Ryu: "I think we've fought too many times now. When will you accept 
that I'm better?"
vs. Dudley: "Yo...old man! Don't even try to fight me again!"
vs. Alex: "You're not so bad! But you're not so good either! Only 
average...."
vs. Yun: "Don't be so depressed. You will get better over time!"
vs. Yang: "I like a naughty boy like you!"
vs. Ken: "In this world, there are some things you can not imitate!" 

Ending:
(In a forest, Ken, wearing a white shirt, beckons for someone with his 
hand.)
Ken: "Come on Mel! Give me your best shot!"
(A flash appears. Then Ken is seen reeling in pain, with several blood 
stains on the screen.)
Ken: "Guha!"
(Scene of Eliza, wearing a blue dress, in shock.)
Eliza: "Ohhh Ken!"
(In an electrifying background, Ken's is still paralyzed from the hit. 
The camera scrolls down...and there is Mel, wearing a red shirt and 
shorts as well as a headband and handguards, punching his dad in the 
groin. Next scene shows Eliza trying to hold Mel back, who apparently 
wants to bash Ken some more. Ken kneels on the floor, covering 
his...um..."private parts" ^_^)
Eliza: "Do you understand what you did to your dad, Mel?"
(Close-up of Ken, nervously smiling, and giving the thumbs-up pose.)
Ken: "Mel...you win!"

NECRO
A "Don't give me that punk-ass attitude! You think I cheated!"
A "So boring...I could spare change while kicking your ass without 
breaking a sweat."
A "I can't believe you're already out! What am I supposed to do with all 
my rage now?"
A "I warned you. You didn't listen. The masses of humanity will always 
suffer...at my hands!"
B "Apologize while you can idiot! Say you're sorry for all your crimes 
and I might spare you...."
B "My rage was like a white inferno of anger. You will burn...."
B "What are you looking at? What's your damn problem?"
B "Get outta my way or I'll tear you limb from limb!"
C "No mercy to weekend warriors!"
C "Damn, I can't believe I'm breathing hard after fighting your sorry 
ass!"
C "I'll win by any means necessary. I will survive!"
C "I'm in pain!"

vs. Ibuki: "I see you're serious. I like your attitude!"
vs. Necro: "Never enter my sight again!"
vs. Sean: "Maybe I won't beat the crap out of you anymore. Thank me!"
vs. Oro: "You screwy old man, can you even see your damn opponent?"
vs. Elena: "You'll never beat my long reach, even if you use your legs!"
vs. Ryu: "It seems you've trained well, but is that it?"
vs. Dudley: "Thank you for being my punching bag. You're a true 
gentleman!"
vs. Alex: "What's up? You're hella insane! I won't waste my time with 
you...."
vs. Yun: "I'm done playing kid's games with you. Go home!"
vs. Yang: "Your insanity is impressive, but not enough. Try again, kido!"
vs. Ken: "I don't know why, but I just don't like you, blondie!"

Ending:
(Necro, in utter desperation, is wrapped up in several yellow tapes with 
the red word "Seal!" written all over them, in the middle of a black 
room.)
Necro: "Damn it! You tricked me Gill! Release me!"
(Gill's face appears in a screen. Necro tries to reach out for him.)
Gill: "I'll destroy this facility and you with it!"
(A door closes in front of the screen.)
Gill: "Adios! It's time to end this experiment. You are expendable."
(Effie, a little girl with a red dress and blonde hair fixed in two 
ponytails and pretty zombie-looking, comes to help Necro,who is 
exhausted.)
Effie: "Oh, poor ILLIA! I'll help you out!"
(A sky view of the island where the facility is located.)
Voice: "10 seconds to self-destruction. Cancellation disabled...5, 4, 3, 
2, 1.
(Energy begins to gather around the island, and then it goes up in smoke 
in one huge explosion. Necro and Effie, who managed to escape the 
facility in time, ride away in a motorcycle in the sunset. A small bar 
depicting a happy Necro and Effie scrolls upwards.)
Effie: "I wonder what's gonna happen to us...."
Necro: "I don't know. But that's a part of freedom, right? Anything is 
possible...."


ORO
A "Some call it unearthly abilities. I call it Senjitsu."
A "Such a lack of challenge. I thought you had burning passion, but you 
are devoid of talent."
A "It was over before I knew it. Too bad you never trained with me!"
A "I have no time to deal with cretins like you."
B "You have to start by learning how to communicate with heaven and 
earth!"
B "I used the minimum energy to insure my victory."
B "You strain yourself too much! Fight without restraint and you will 
stand a chance."
B "You have the power, you just don't know how to use it."
C "Your aptitude is great. Train yourself for 80 years and you'll be a 
respected Sennin."
C "For once I felt pressed. First time in ten years I've broken a sweat."
C "Well, you were almost worthy of the lies you told about your ability."
C "Show some respect for your elders, whippersnapper!"

vs. Ibuki: "You're vicious, but too vicious. You can't even touch me!"
vs. Necro: "Your screwed up face is only entertainment."
vs. Sean: "You're so young! I envy your youth, but not your lack of 
skill."
vs. Oro: "Your aptitude is great. Train yourself for 80 years and you'll 
be a respected Sennin."*
vs. Elena: "I see promise in you girl. Come on, come closer!"
vs. Ryu: "You resemble me in my younger days! I must train you if you are 
to realize your potential."
vs. Dudley: "Your uppercut you're so proud of moves in slow motion in my 
eyes!"
vs. Alex: "Don't judge your opponent by their appearance. You're such a 
cocky youth!"
vs. Yun: "You're not seasoned enough! A 4000-year Chinese legacy just 
isn't enough."
vs. Yang: "I'm tired of dealing with you, immature brat!"
vs. Ken: "Your fighting spirit is strong. If I could train you like a 
dog, you might become good someday!"

* = No, this isn't a mistake. Oro takes one of his normal quotes to use 
it against his "alter-ego" (lazy Capcom again).

Ending:
(Oro is contemplating the scrolling sunset sky with a hand on his chin, 
thoughtful.)
Oro: "Nobody has enough guts to learn from a true master like me!"
(The image of Ryu appears in the sky.)
Oro: "The only one who has a true passion for fighting was the kid with 
the headband. Maybe he...."
(Oro scrolls downward. Then he appears again in the background, along 
with his standing place...a flying plane.)
Oro: "Wait for me kid!"

Driver: "Oakland is to the left. Are you sure you want to get off here? 
You've still got 30 miles to go."
(Close-up, Ryu, carrying his duffel bag, looks the driver away. The 
driver waves before going away.)
Ryu: "Yes. I'm sure. Thanks. There's still some sunlight left. I think I 
can still make it there on foot."
(Back to the wider view of the country field, the truck is seen driven 
away. Then there is a side view of Ryu.)
Ryu: "Ken, I'll keep fighting...training...and searching...."
(Ryu begins to run.)
Ryu: "Wait for me warriors...I live for your challenge."

A "Hado-power! I think I've come to understand it!"

vs. Alex: "I could tell when you were going to make your next move. It 
was too obvious!"

vs. Yang: "Kung Fu is supposed to be the best, right?"
vs. Ken: "Master! One more match please!"

Ending:
(In a forest, Sean, in the foreground, is being blown away by Ryu, who 
has just launched a Hadoken, in the background.) 
Sean: "Uwaaah!"
(Sean tries to get up, wiping his mouth, looking ticked. An image of a 
serious Ken appears aside him.)
Sean: "Damn it! Let's try that again!"
Ken: "In order to be the best, you must defeat Ryu! Don't come back until 
you've done that!"
(Ken's image turns into a picture of Ken, wearing a white shirt, along 
his wife Eliza, who has a white dress. Ken's serious expression turns 
into a happy one, giving the thumbs-up sign, and with a kiss mark on his 
cheek.)
Ken: "I must go. Good luck!"
(Sean gets up in a ready position, with a flaming aura around him. But 
still, he is blasted away by Ryu's Hadoken.)
Sean: "Uwaaah!"
(A concerned Ryu extends his hand towards Sean.)
Ryu: "Wait a minute, Sean! Are you fighting me because Ken told you to do 
so?"
(Once again, Sean gets up, flaming about. He then attempts to execute a 
jump kick on Ryu, with lightning flashing all around him.)
Sean: "Shut up and fight!"
(Yet again, Sean is busted by Ryu's Hadoken.)
Sean: "Guwah! He's just too good!"

YANG
A "Enough! I have no reason to waste my fists on your scurvy face."
A "Why am I so strong, and why are you so weak? Why is the sky blue?"
A "Weaklings like you should go hang out in the crowd. You're not ready 
for the real deal!"
A "Try to look up at the sky! Look down and you'll get depressed as you 
see your lame body."
B "I was itching for a good fight. Thanks! But next time make it a good 
fight, not just a fight."
B "I did it! No sweat."
B "I told you I'm strong. You should listen to your superiors!"
B "What's your problem? You want another fist in the face?!"
C "Some days are better than others. Today was bad for me, but really bad

C "I've heard only he of serious mind wins fights. Your mind is a serious

C "I repaid you for all the injuries you inflicted on me three times

blurred to me."
vs. Ryu: "Don't wander around in that Karate costume, someone might think 
what it is."
vs. Dudley: "You shame yourself with your excuses, old man!"
vs. Alex: "Your power is dangerous! Try not to hurt yourself!"
vs. Yun: "Over-confidence is the greatest enemy, brother!"
vs. Ken: "You are so reckless. You should be a role model, but you're

(The old man wields his fists in a bad humored way.)
Old Man: "Tell me about it. How did it go? Your proud Kung Fu didn't make 
it in the real world, huh? Ha ha ha!"

GENERAL NOTES:
-Each character has 7 normal quotes that do not vary depending on the 
conditions of your victory (although I have yet to discover Ken's seventh 
quote, no matter how many times I win with him, I can't seem to find out 
what it is.

-Also, each character has 2 quotes which appear whenever you finish your 
opponent with a determined Super Art. This applies for every Super Art 
EXCEPT the throw-based Super Arts, which are:

	*Alex's Hyper Bomb/Stun Gun Headbutt
	*Hugo's Gigas Breaker/Megaton Press
	*Oro's Kishin Riki
	*Necro's Slam Dance	
	*Akuma's Shun Goku Satsu

There are also the obvious exceptions of the "regeneration"-type Super 
Arts, such as Elena's Healing and Gill's Resurrection. Also, in the case 
of Ibuki's Yoroi-Doushi, you MUST eliminate the opponent with the ball of 
energy by itself...if you finish the opponent with the close-up version 
of the Yoroi-Doushi, the quote will not appear.

-As you may have seen, Hugo has 4 different final bosses (and, 
henceforth, 4 slightly different endings). So, how do you reach each one 
of them? Well, when you get to select Hugo's Super Art, you must choose 
one of the following combinations to select your Super Art, and depending 
on the combination, you will face that character as your final boss (you 
can even lose with one final boss, continue, and enter another 
combination to fight ANOTHER boss, different from the one you lost with!) 
The combinations are:

	*F + Punch: Necro
	*B + Punch: Elena
	*F + Kick: Ryu
	*B + Kick: Gill

-To fight each character's mid boss, you must gather 5 Super Art finishes 
by the time you reach the fourth, fifth, or sixth opponent in your 
lineup. If you've already gathered the neccesary requirements prior to 
the fourth match, you still won't face your mid boss until after you've 
beaten your fourth opponent. You can lose rounds, but you can't lose 
matches. When you have accomplished all the requirements, the words "Your 
rival has found you!" will appear after you've beaten your opponent, and 
you'll proceed to fight your mid boss in the same stage you defeated your 
last opponent. If you've selected Elena's Healing, just use it 5 times 
(once per round), and it will count as a Super Art finish as well (don't 
ask why, it just happens!).

-All dialogues can also be applied to the arcades...well, except for the 
Gill vs. Gill quote, of course. ^_^

strong, and I was not. That is all. ...Fine. Go if you feel you must.

father told me, "Friendship is universal"."

She rides more carefully than Elena, and has a worried face.)

Ending:
(Ibuki is shown lying on a small grass hill, wearing her school uniform 
dress, aside her pet raccoon. The sun is setting. A close-up shows a 
thoughtful Ibuki with a piece of grass in her mouth. She recalls the 
moment when she defeated Gill: a black and white picture of Ibuki, seen 
from behind,  standing above a kneeling Gill.)
Gill: "It seems I've lost. As a man of my word, I'll keep my promise to 
you. Here is the G file! The project has already begun and there is 
nothing you can do to stop it! It is my masterpiece! You've gained 
nothing by obtaining the G file! It's a document of utter perfection. You 
should use it as a reference paper! Ha ha ha ha!"
(Back to Ibuki on the hill, a shadow nears Ibuki. Ibuki's eyes open 
wide.)
Ibuki: "I sense a presence! Someone is coming....."
(Ibuki backflips into the air.)
Ibuki: "Ya!"
(Ibuki lunges towards the screen, throwing several daggers. But as she 
descends, she realizes with shock that it is her friend Sarai, a girl 
using some pilot goggles and the same school uniform dress she uses. 
Sarai has managed to cover her head with her backpack, object in which 
the daggers stick themselves.)
Sarai: "Kyaaahh!"
(Sarai furiously swings her pierced bag in front of an ashamed Ibuki and 
her pet raccoon.)
Sarai: "What the hell? You shattered my bag and put holes in my text 
books! Are you crazy Ibuki!?"
(Ibuki, her pet raccoon, and Sarai walk towards the sunset. Sarai still 
seems ticked.)
Ibuki: "I'm so sorry Sarai!"

KEN
"It was already decided that I would win!"
"That was too easy!"
"It's the fighting sense that matters. Time off will never dull my 
instincts!"
"It's losers like you that make this game boring!"
"The flame of my fist won't be put out so easily!"
"I thought that you had at least a little bit of potential! It seems I 
was wrong!"

Shoryu-reppa:
"Shoryu-reppa! Feel the burn...."
"Shoryu-reppa is the ultimate combination move!"

Shinryu-ken:
"Shinryu-ken!! Sometimes it's more important to have a stylish victory 
than a quick one!"

experience."

Shippu-jinrai-kyaku:
"My Shippu-jinrai-kyaku is faster than the wind!"
"Feel the full force of my Shippu-jinrai-kyaku! It's the best!"

vs. Ryu: "It's time you settled down and raised a family. Maybe I'll help 
you, my friend."
vs. Alex: "Please don't fight so desperately! Keep your hands off of me!"
vs. Yun: "Your Kung Fu is improving, kid. You might become really 
good.... Someday."
vs. Necro: "You're welcome to fight me anytime!! You're fun to beat!"

vs. Sean: "You must defeat Ryu to stand a chance!"
vs. Urien: "So that's what you can do with your "Iron Body"? How 
wonderful!"
vs. Elena: "If you want a rematch, you're going to get more than just a 
scratch!"
vs. Oro: "Looking for a student? You should be looking for a master...."
vs. Yang: "Naughty boy! To beat me, you'll need more than flashy moves!"
vs. Dudley: "You should lose that fake Shoryuken.... You'll look like 
more of a down-to-earth gentleman!"
vs. Ken: "My style's too cool to be copied! Shoryuken! Shoryuken! And 
Shoryuken!"
vs. Akuma: "You may fight like my best friend, but you cannot compare to 
him!"
vs. Gill: "I'm the only true "Man of Flame"! By the way, do you get wet 
around the middle?"

Mid boss: Dudley
Dudley: "I'm looking for my dad's car. Do you know where it is?"
Ken: "No.... But if you'd like mine, how about fighting me for it?"

End boss: Ryu
Ken: "Ready to go at it one more time old friend?"
Ryu: "Through all the years, you still remain my most worthy opponent!"

Ending:
(In a forest, Ken, wearing a white shirt, beckons for someone with his 
hand.)
Ken: "Come on Mel! Give me your best shot!"
(A flash appears. Then Ken is seen reeling in pain, with several blood 
stains on the screen.)
Ken: "Guha!"
(Scene of Eliza, wearing a blue dress, in shock.)
Eliza: "Ohhh Ken!"
(In an electrifying background, Ken's is still paralyzed from the hit. 
The camera scrolls down...and there is Mel, wearing a red shirt and 
shorts as well as a headband and handguards, punching his dad in the 
groin. Next scene shows Eliza trying to hold Mel back, who apparently 
wants to bash Ken some more. Ken kneels on the floor, covering 
his...um..."private parts" ^_^)
Eliza: "Do you understand what you did to your dad, Mel?"
(Close-up of Ken, nervously smiling, and giving the thumbs-up pose.)
Ken: "Mel...you win!"

NECRO
"Get outta my way or I'll tear you limb from limb!"

"It's time to finish this! Electric Shock Storm!!!!!"
"You've felt the Shock Storm! Now tell me who's the greatest fighter of 
all!"

Electric Snake:
"You fell for it.... Bad footwork means being a victim of the Electric 
Snake!"
"Electric Strike Finish! Wow.... That felt great!"

vs. Ryu: "Take it easy! You seem to try too hard!"
vs. Alex: "Your excellent training shows, but what can you do against my 
shocking abnormalities?"
vs. Yun: "Are you mocking me just because you are young? Or should I take 
it personally?"
vs. Necro: "You are nothing but a cheap copy who cannot hope to beat me, 
the original!"
vs. Ibuki: "I'll do anything to win my freedom, even if it means fighting 
girls. Nothing personal, O.K.?"
vs. Hugo: "Hey there! You are way too big!"
vs. Sean: "You're a bit rude.... Are you selfish as well? Tell me why you 
fight...."
vs. Urien: "Does it hurt you more when I shock you, or when I dent you? 
Ask your body."
vs. Elena: "Why do you want to be friends with me?! I can't be your 
friend, so deal with it!"
vs. Oro: "I see you didn't bring a coffin with you. Don't expect me to go

Ibuki: "Are you that stretching cyborg? Tell me where to find your boss!"
Necro: "How about I charge you with electromagnetic power instead?"

Gill: "Ah! Necro.... Do you have the strength to attain your freedom?"

Ending:
(Necro, in utter desperation, is wrapped up in several yellow tapes with 
the red word "Seal!" written all over them, in the middle of a black 
room.)
Necro: "Damn it! You tricked me Gill! Release me!"
(Gill's face appears in a screen. Necro tries to reach out for him.)
Gill: "I'll destroy this facility and you with it!"
(A door closes in front of the screen.)
Gill: "Adios! It's time to end this experiment. You are expendable."
(Effie, a little girl with a red dress and blonde hair fixed in two 
ponytails and pretty zombie-looking, comes to help Necro,who is 
exhausted.)
Effie: "Oh, poor ILLIA! I'll help you out!"
(A sky view of the island where the facility is located.)
Voice: "10 seconds to self-destruction. Cancellation disabled...5, 4, 3, 
2, 1.
(Energy begins to gather around the island, and then it goes up in smoke 
in one huge explosion. Necro and Effie, who managed to escape the 
facility in time, ride away in a motorcycle in the sunset. A small bar 
depicting a happy Necro and Effie scrolls upwards.)
Effie: "I wonder what's gonna happen to us...."
Necro: "I don't know. But that's a part of freedom, right? Anything is 
possible...."

ORO
"You strain yourself too much! Fight without restraint and you will stand 
a chance."
"I used the minimum energy to insure my victory."
"Some call it unearthly abilities. I call it Senjitsu."
"It was over before I knew it. Too bad you never trained with me!"
"For once I felt pressed. First time in ten years I've broken a sweat."
"Such a lack of challenge. I thought you had burning passion, but you are 
devoid of talent."
"If you train for another 81 years you might become a good Sennin.... Ho,

fighter may be a troubled one."

vs. Dudley: "I was once as proud as you.... Since then I've become

Ken: "Ryu.... You haven't changed! You know the drill; let's do it!"

Ending:
(Scene of a country field in California. A truck stops in the middle of a 
dirt road. Ryu descends from the truck.)
Driver: "Oakland is to the left. Are you sure you want to get off here? 
You've still got 30 miles to go."
(Close-up, Ryu, carrying his duffel bag, looks the driver away. The 
driver waves before going away.)
Ryu: "Yes. I'm sure. Thanks. There's still some sunlight left. I think I 
can still make it there on foot."
(Back to the wider view of the country field, the truck is seen driven 
away. Then there is a side view of Ryu.)
Ryu: "Ken, I'll keep fighting...training...and searching...."
(Ryu begins to run.)
Ryu: "Wait for me warriors...I live for your challenge."

SEAN
"I like close fights. It makes me stronger!"
"Shoryu-reppa! I'll perfect it next time!"

Mid boss: Yang
Yang: "You look a little too weak to be a decent challenge for me...."
Sean: "Hey! Watch your mouth, kid! My fighting spirit never loses!"

End boss: Ken
Sean: "Master Ken! I've finally found the secret of my inner strength!"
Ken: "You've just begun your journey. It's time you realized that, kid!"

Ending:
(In a forest, Sean, in the foreground, is being blown away by Ryu, who 
has just launched a Hadoken, in the background.) 
Sean: "Uwaaah!"
(Sean tries to get up, wiping his mouth, looking ticked. An image of a 
serious Ken appears aside him.)
Sean: "Damn it! Let's try that again!"
Ken: "In order to be the best, you must defeat Ryu! Don't come back until 
you've done that!"
(Ken's image turns into a picture of Ken, wearing a white shirt, along 
his wife Eliza, who has a white dress. Ken's serious expression turns 
into a happy one, giving the thumbs-up sign, and with a kiss mark on his 
cheek.)
Ken: "I must go. Good luck!"
(Sean gets up in a ready position, with a flaming aura around him. But 
still, he is blasted away by Ryu's Hadoken.)
Sean: "Uwaaah!"
(A concerned Ryu extends his hand towards Sean.)
Ryu: "Wait a minute, Sean! Are you fighting me because Ken told you to do 
so?"
(Once again, Sean gets up, flaming about. He then attempts to execute a 
jump kick on Ryu, with lightning flashing all around him.)
Sean: "Shut up and fight!"
(Yet again, Sean is busted by Ryu's Hadoken.)
Sean: "Guwah! He's just too good!"

URIEN
"I will not forgive anyone who tries to oppose me!"
"Writhe in agony! Your body shows the anguish of defeat!"
"Scream! Cry out! Suffer to your heart's content!"
"I am the real emperor! I have no reason to lose!"
"My anger will calm only when I am proven to be the true Emperor!"
"Traitor! Devote yourself to the ruler and repent your sin!"
"I rule the world! Anybody who challenges me shall be eliminated!"

(Scene of a theater-like chamber, where many followers of Gill's clan are 
standing in the balconies above Urien, who is standing in the middle of 
the room.)
Old Guru: "We hereby recognize Urien as our new president."
Urien: "It's only natural. I'm the only one qualified for this 
prestigious position."
(Scene of Urien, in his suit, surrounded by an army of Necros, and lots 
of army weaponry and vehicles, with the world in the background.) 
Old Guru: "From this point, all crisis management units are under the 
control of our new president."
(The old guru, who is dressed in a red tunic and has a glowing eye, 
approaches Urien. Urien's face expresses some insatisfaction.)
Old Guru: "Now Mr. President, it's time to meet the emperor."
Urien: "What? The emperor?!"
Old Guru: "His existence has been known only to the former presidents and 
the chairmen. The emperor has been longing for the arrival of the Lord's 
century to arrive since the eternal past."
(Scene of Urien, seen from behind, at the bottom of a huge staircase, 
visibly surprised.)
Urien: "S...So.... You're the emperor?!"
(The camera scrolls up to show Gill, in his tunic, on the staircase, with 
a hand on his hip, and the other hand in flames.)
Gill: "Welcome aboard Mr. President. I expect nothing less than your best 
performance! For the sake of appearances. Work hard for the coming of the 
Lord's century. Ha ha ha ha ha...."

YANG
"Why am I so strong, and why are you so weak? Why is the sky blue?"
"I was itching for a good fight. Thanks! But next time make it a good 
fight, not just a fight."
"I did it! No sweat."
"What's your problem? You want another fist in the face?!"
"I repaid you for all the injuries you inflicted on me three times over."
"I told you I'm strong. You should listen to your superiors!"
"Try to look up at the sky! Look down and you'll get depressed as you see 
your lame body."

Raishin-Mahhaken:
"My Raishin-Mahhaken is formidable when used properly...."
"You thought it would be a close battle? Nobody can beat my Raishin-
Mahhaken!"

Tenshin-Senkyutai
"Because of your sloppy defense, I got to finish you with my Tenshin-
Senkyutai!"
"There's no way you could escape my Tenshin-Senkyutai!"

Seiei-Enbu
"Did my Seiei-Enbu confuse you? Is age dulling your senses?"
"Look! How many of myself are there? Count them quickly! Time's up!"

vs. Ryu: "You shouldn't walk around in that costume! People might start 
thinking you're for real!"

vs. Yun: "Now we know which of us is the best fighter! Maybe you should 
try skateboarding full time!"
vs. Necro: "My victory was determined when I saw your sorry moves!"
vs. Ibuki: "Is that ninja costume supposed to make you look tough?! Looks 
can be deceiving...."
vs. Hugo: "Your size makes you slow! Go on a diet!"
vs. Sean: "After that, you still want to fight?! That would be 
suicidal.... You're much too weak!"
vs. Urien: "A fighter's weak point can cause him to shatter like 
glass.... Yours is right...over...THERE!"
vs. Elena: "Now that I've beaten you, do you still think street fighting 
is fun?"
vs. Oro: "Stupid old man! If you want to win, fight more seriously!"
vs. Yang: "Your fighting is predictable...I know it all too well!"
vs. Dudley: "You don't have to be a gentleman in a fight! Haven't you 
learned that yet?"
vs. Ken: "Your fighting strategy is the worst! If you hurry to win, 
you're rushing to your defeat!"
vs. Akuma: "Your fighting aura freaks me out! But you aren't quite as 
scary when you're flat on your back!"
vs. Gill: "You thought you could intimidate me, but that tactic proved to 
be your undoing...."

Mid boss: Oro
Oro: "Strong, focused, and at peace.... Would you care to be my pupil?"
Yang: "No thanks.... But if you wish for a fight, I won't hold back!"

Yang: "Brother! It's time to see which one of us is the better fighter!"
Yun: "Agreed! Just don't hold back this time, because I won't!"

Ending:
(Yang jumps towards the sky on his skates.)

(In a local stand, an old man looks at the twins, carrying a basket. 
Behind him is a Chinese girl in a traditional white garb.)
Girl: "Look! Those are the Lee brothers! They're back!"
(Yun and Yang run by at full speed. Yang is at the front, and Yun runs in 
the back.)
Yun: "Hi you guys! How have you been? It's been so long!"
Yang: "What's going down?"
(The old man wields his fists in a bad humored way. The girl seems 
excited.)
Old Man: "Tell me about it. How did it go? Your proud Kung Fu didn't make 
it in the real world, huh? Ha ha ha!"

THE AKUMA FACTOR
****************************************************************
In Street Fighter III: Second Impact, you have the chance to fight 
Akuma (and Shin Akuma) instead of your regularly programmed final boss. 
In order to do that, you must not only gather 5 Super Art finishes 
(requirements needed to fight your mid boss), but also obtain 3 Perfect 
victories, and don't lose rounds either. If you've suceeded, Akuma will 
make his typical entrance when you face your lost boss...right after the 
match begins, Akuma will warp in from your side of the screen, and take 
out your final boss with the Shun Goku Satsu. Then a small dialogue will 
take place...:

X (Your character): "......................."
Akuma: "........................"

	Pretty entertaining, huh? Anyway, you can also fight everyone's 
worst nightmare, Shin Akuma, if you can manage to beat Akuma in one round 
with a Super Art finish. With Elena's Healing, just use it once against 
Akuma, then defeat him, and it will count as a Super Art finish (again, 
don't ask why). If you've done that, and defeated Akuma in the second 
round, then your character won't do their victory pose, and suddenly, 
Akuma will stand up, do his horse stance, give out some weird speech, and 
ready to kick some toosh! Have fun, because you will be fighting one of 
the hardest bosses around...Shin Akuma, and his terrible ferocity!

	No matter if you beat Akuma or Shin Akuma, you will get an 
alternate ending. If you defeat Akuma, then you'll get a shot of the 
defeated Akuma in your last boss' stage during the credit roll. If you 
defeat Shin Akuma, then refer to Shin Akuma's ending.
