~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Fire Emblem 3 Item Guide Written by: Eaichu250 - lowlyeaichu@hotmail.com Verison - 1.0 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Table of Contents: 1: Introduction 2: Hoshi Orbs 3: Misc. Items 4: Credits *********************************************************************** Hey, Eaichu250 speakin here. I'm attemping to write a complete guide(this guide covers items) for Fire Emblem 3, since it is on major demand, plus the fact that it is one of my favorite games of all time. This guide will cover everything you want to know about every item, if you want to know the stats for Weapons, check out my weapon guide. This guide will also cover each class, what each class can equip, use, and general base stats. Fire Emblem 3 is 100% Japanese. No verisons of this game were released in the states. It's one of the best Strategy-RPG's ever made(IMHO) and that fact alone wants me to write an FAQ for this. I hope this FAQ will answer all the questions and such you have, if you have any more questions, don't be afraid to nail me at - lowlyeaichu@hotmail.com Now, on with the FAQ! -- Eaichu250 ************************************************************************ 2: Hoshi Orbs - Hoshi Orbs are great things, these orbs can be found in the first book or the second book, in the second book, you can find fragments of the Hoshi Orbs, and in the first book you get two full Hoshi Orbs. Now, what is so special about these items? Well, you see, these orbs can give you MASSIVE stat gains, and give you special powers when holding them, so I'm going to give you the information on how exactly it changes your stat growth, how to get each piece, and lots of other stuff. *********** Full Hoshi Orbs *********** Star Orb - Info: Holding a blue Hoshi Orb can increase all of your growth rates by 30%, and this isnt the only surprise, it also keeps you weapon durability from going down, meaning you can hold that Miracle Sword and go on an enemy killing spree without breaking your weapon! Where you find it - Book 1: Non-existant. Book 2: The former King of Orleans(?) gives it to Marth in Chapter 18. Earth Orb - Info: The Earth Orb allows you cause an attack that damages all peopleon the screen when it is used, it lasts 5 uses. Does around 5-12 damage, random. Gives 10% extra hit and dodge rates to people next to the holder of the Earth Orb. Where you find it - Book 1: It's in a chest in Chapter 15. Book 2: Non-existant. Broken Earth Orb - Info: Allows you to steal money from an enemy sometimes when the holder attacks an enemy. Also, it grants you 10% extra hit and dodge rates to people next to the holder of the broken Earth Orb. Where you find it - Book 1: Non-existant Book 2: A thief is holding it in Chapter 15(?) Devil/Dark Orb - Info: When holding the Dark Orb, you are immune to every single attack, and cannot be damaged unless a person holding the Light Orb attacks the wielder of the Dark Orb. Where you find it - Book 1: Non-existant. Book 2: Hardin drops it in Chapter 20 after you kill him. - That's a cover up, I'll be covering the shattered Hoshi Orbs next. *********** Shattered Hoshi Orbs *********** Shattered Hoshi Orbs can ONLY be found in book two. ????? Orb - Stat Boosts - 5% boosted Growth Rates for all your stats. Where you find it - Chapter 3, boss/enemy is holding it. Notes: This is a useful orb, because it gives you a small boost to all your other stats, very useful for cancelling out negative stat boosting effects. ******* Gemini Orb - Stat Boosts - 30% to Strength, -10% for Weapon Skill, 20% for Defense. Where you find it - Chapter 5, being held by an enemy/boss. Notes: Woah, this orb raises Strength like mad, and it gives a Defense boost too, hold this orb at all times, and put it on units that get low Strength growth. ******* ????? Orb - Stat Boosts - 10% to Strength, 10% to Skill, 10% to Speed, 10% to Weapon Skill. Where you find it - Chapter 6, General Lang is holding it. Notes: It's not bad, it's pretty decent, and useful for cancelling out negative stat boosting effects. ******* Libra Orb - Stat Boosts - -10% to HP, 40% to Speed, 10% to Luck, 10% to Weapon Skill, -10% Magic Defense. Where you find it - Chapter 6, inside a treasure box. Notes: Well, if you really want a unit to get high Speed, give this orb to them, just be warned that it harms your Magic Defense growth when holding it. =\ ******* ????? Orb - Stat Boosts - 20% to Power, 20% to Skill, 10% to Speed, -10% Luck. Where you find it - Chapter 7, held by a Thief. Notes: Decent orb, luck isnt really all too useful, so this orb is pretty good. ******* Rheo Orb - Stat Boosts - 50% to Power, -10% to Defense. Where you find it - Chapter 8, held by a Thief. Notes: Give this orb to units that need Strength, quick! ******* ???? Orb - Stat Boosts - -10% to HP, 40% to Skill, 10% to Speed. Where you find it - Chapter 8, George is holding it. Notes: It's a decent orb, nothing else to say about it, note that it gives high Skill growth. ******* ???? Orb - Stat Boosts - 20% to Weapon Skill, -10% to Defense, 30% to Magic Defense. Where you find it - Chapter 9, Minerva is holding it. Notes: This is a VERY useful orb! Because of the great Magic Defense boosting power it has, equip it as soon as possible! ******* ???? Orb - Stat Boosts - 20% to HP, -10% to Skill, -10% to Speed, 30% to Weapon Skill, 10% to Defense. Where you find it - Chapter 9, inside a treasure box. Notes: I honestly hate this Orb, it dosent give you anything TOO useful for your stats, aside from the Defense and HP boost, but you lose Skill and Speed by just simply holding it. Combine it with other Defense boosting orbs for massive defense overkill. ******* Antse Orb - Stat Boosts: 40% to Luck. Where you find it - Chapter 10, enemy is holding it. Notes: Eh, if you really want your luck to max out, you should hold this orb with you. ******* ???? Orb - Stat Boosts: 10% to HP, 10% to Weapon Skill, 10% to Defense, 10% to Magic Defense. Notes: Defense raising items are always really useful, combine this orb with other defense raising orbs to get great defense stats. ******* Okay, that's all the Hoshi Fragments in the game, remember to collect all these, because it's VERY important! ******* 3: Misc.
