[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] *THIS COVERS EVERYTHING NON VIP11+ TO AUGUST 2015* Hello and welcome to my Hero Charge guide (for the sake of myself and my typing style, I well call it Hero Charge, and not Heroes/Hero's/Heroes' etc.) This is a "payORplay" game, but very balanced to make it blurred in the realm of "pay2win". Well, if you think it's pay to win, I have news for you, I have a guy in my guild who can hug top 50 at VIP0... and thus this is the reason of the guide. Though I consider this a "A way to start a new server" these tips can help mend a broken account... A broken account may never truely be in contention till the higher levels, and an account could be broken by: 1. Upgrading the wrong chars. 2. Not optimizing free items (trails, portals, etc) 3. Buying things with limited coins that could be found elsewhere 4. Swordmaster. There are more, but these are a few, think of it like this, if you level evenly and don't complete, say the level 5 trails once they open, you may lose out on a full purple equip a week! Where as, if you focus on just a few core heroes, you can make ends meet later. I will be COMPLETELY honest, the way I play is VERY unconventional, I use many tactics you won't find the top players using (I'm probably the ONLY one on my server who doesn't have Ember Blade, Assassin, or Iron Hoof.. and focus on female chars... I'm like the Bill in Kill Bill :D) So remember, if you want tips from someone who can get ahead with out the use of cookie cutter strats, or without sinking money into the game like crazy, read on. Before you begin, remember, I don't say "Orange", I say Gold. Table of Contents (Copy and Paste the item into find, including the "~" figure. It's a tilde, but I refer to it as a "Shwa") ~Choosing the Correct Difficulty ~Hidden Point of the Game ~Story Mode/Campaign ~(Baby Steps) Arena ~(Big Boy) Grand Arena ~Ancient Temple ~Booty Cave ~Enchanting/Equipment ~Crusade ~Trails ~Rifts ~Portals ~Guild Life ~Shops/Treasure Chests ~VIP0 Speed Guide ~War ~Cast of Characters [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~Choosing the Correct Difficulty Believe it or not, there are difficulty levels in this game. Easy---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Buy gems to reach high VIP levels. Once you unlock a second Crusade, you'll have a unspeakable amount of money, and shouldn't even have to try to figure out proirities. This gives you the ultimate freedom. Want to level more than 15 heroes plus Chap? Go this route. Just one thing, be humble about it. There were a few people on my server who would brag (hopefully they aren't anymore) about the massive money they put in, and insulting those who didn't as "poor". They don't realize this has the adverse effect, as not only does it make you an ass, but basically the person admits to NEEDING the advantage. (Also, if you can manage to beat these players, you can throw in how dumb they are for wasting money :D) It's all fair, in my opinion, but remember, it's like bringing your own grafite pool stick/cue to a bottom of the barrel bar. You paid for the stick, use it. But you won't get respect if you beat some who is using a bend house stick... and it certinally won't get you points with the crowd if you rub it in that other person it poor. Maybe he's not poor, maybe he just wants to have fun, but once you brag, you can incite rage... and end up walking out with 3 legs. Again, for the purpose of this guide, I'm not really going to give tips at this level directly, but if you wasted gems on say the hot sale and ruined an account, there is help, and you can fix it much faster. Normal-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Get the VIP Card for a normal experience. Now, before I say this, I DO NOT WORK FOR UCOOL, not is this a ploy to get you to spend money, but for 2.99U$D a month, is pretty cheap for an otherwise free game. Think about it, that's a dime a day. There used to be lan cafes that would charge FIVE BUCKS AN HOUR to play a game... and Arcades... if you find one today... holy hell I bet you wish you could spend 10 cents a day! The VIP card adds a trival amount of actual VIP points (the first purchase will put you to VIP3, and you 4th will put you to 5.), so don't use this as a means to get ahead in that area, however, it does give you 120 gems a day, so 3660 for the 30 days... Why is that good? Well did you LOOK at the prices of gems in the shop? No? Better wear sunglasses, because they are HAWT DANG EXPENSIVE! So even if someone spends 20$ a month, you really aren't going to be that far behind. About the levels, you also get free raid tickets (which should be used to save time, but I'm against them, more on that later), but the ones that are important: 2 extra caves at VIP 5 & 50% more guild coins at VIP 6 (which I don't have) Now, you may say, Vespy, how can you begin to tell us how to play without VIP status if you are a VIP yourself? Well, I know where I waste gems, I talk to much in world chat, I use too many on arena re-stockes, and I level up novelity heroes. I even have a team no one has seen yet... cuz I'm a trend setter. But the good news is, I have the insight to tell you the BEST places to spend these gems. Again, I know how to do things, but I'm literally too stubborn to do so in many cases. (Like I just don't care about the Robot portal at this moment.) *ALTHOUGH I BOUGHT THE VIP CARD, I REGRET IT NOW, YOU DO NOT NEED IT, READING THIS GUIDE WILL HELP YOU GET TO THE TOP, AND TRUST ME, YOU'LL GET MORE RESPECT UNLIKE THE FOOLS WHO PUT IN TONS OF MONEY!* Hard---------------------------------------------------------------------------- VIP0. The point of this guide is not only to get you to know the basics of the game, but is to put you into contention. At VIP0, you need to seriously focus on the things I mentioned before, like tackling "free" items, and generally using boring, cookie cutter heroes. I don't mind sharing this info since I specifically have teams and set-ups to destroy the common and over used... so if you aren't on my server, don't worry about it, and if you are, there is a good chance you'll never catch up, or even care, as you'll be able to take out pretty much anyone who isn't using the same strats I'm rambling on about right this second. For most of the guide, I'll try to point of the big differences between normal and hard. Like most of my FAQs I write, I try to stay away from EASY mode... so if you are VIP11+, you wasted money if you are reading this :( (This is why I make FUn of a few people on my server, their is a guy who spent $1,500+, now, would you rather take his advice? Or someone who can killed 95% of his clan who spent a marginal 15$?) Remember, VIP card is only 3660 extra gems... and I'm at the point where I save up gems and waste them on 2000 gem items, so basically you'll need to find out where to get that extra two items a month. Stamina resets should still be AT LEAST 2... if not 3. 4 is overboard... more on that later down below. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~Hidden Point of the Game This game is an "arms" race (like the ones we had with China lololol, who gets that joke? Please don't invade us.) So basically there are two ways to play the game, you can go carefree or you can can be a contender. If you choose the first option, you really don't need this guide, as you would have more FUn doing things yourself... like I did. But since I surround myself with professional players, enemies or not, you can start to see and develop counter strategies... and the only way to do that is to have that strategy to counter down first! Option two is to stay in contention, and this is WHY I LOVE THIS GAME, THE ARMS RACE! Some people hate that you can only do things a certain amount of times a day, but I LOVE IT. Why? Without this feature, everyone would be the same, all maxed out, because lets face it, it is so easy to grind in this game, especially with the raid tickets... But since you have limits, you need to choose, and maximize as fast as possible. Now, if you recall in the opening I said something about a "broken account", well if you choose to go the VIP0, IT HAS TO BE ON A NEW SERVER where about everyone is just starting off... don't expect to migrate to another server and assume this will work... as you'll be a level 1 among 80's... and you'll catch up with barely an arena team, while everyone will have stacked teams for any occasion. Before I even give tips, DO NOT GO TOO FAST, because you'll either waste money in the long run, or you'll lose interest. Again, like the idiots who drop 1000'$ in this game... what was the point when you hit the level cap? So getting ahead, it's super important to be on a new server as a VIP0 needs the arena awards will help fuel your gem needs... the faster you get higher, the more stuff you can upgrade, and the more you'll be able to do, at an expondentally higher rate. What is high in the Arena? Nothing less than top 200, either one works. I myself have a higher GA rank, but if you are VIP0, you'll want to have the primary arena on lock down ASAP. Also, if you are as good as you need to be, you should be getting a ton of extra arena coins a day, most people consider VIP0's (grey circle around avatar) weaker, and PEOPLE ALWAYS PREY ON THE WEAK. It is a dog eat dog game/world/whatever. Having the VIP card will allow much leeway... and the besides the arena, the next biggest place to race is Team level, but that's in another section, for the purpose of this section: Respect the limited tries approach this game has, as it creates balance. Trust me, if you don't screw around, you will see results. And once you get ahead, it's VERY hard to fall behind. I'm 89 on my one server, I started when the highest level was in the 40's, bought stamina twice a day, and missed a weak of play, the highest level is one 92 (who is rumored to be an Ucool employee), and a few 91's. One of these 91's spent roughly $1,400+... now tell me something, Would you spend 1,400 for three levels on any game? Further more, would you even care if this player is better? Again, it's like losing to the Patriots in the first half of championship game, they knew they needed a handicap, and they had better balls. (It's required that every media outlet/comedian/ publication/website make a New England joke.) On last thing about staying in contention in this section: You need to play every day. Save for Sunday with the all open trails/raids, and the booty games, you should be able to knock out the majority of the hard stuff in your lunch break, then after work, then before bed. The creators are so figgen smart... they start the "day rollover" at 5am. Guess what? You are now either going to wake up at 5, to make sure you are spent so you don't waste stuff by noon. At noon, 6pm, and 9pm IT IS VITAL you get the free stamina or Ham, St-HAM-min-na (As well as the 30 stamina admiration in a guild... if you are in one) If you aren't in a guild, WHY? Want to get ahead, don't waste these... and doing the booty caves can give you that edge over the person who can't be bothered with it. There is nothing worse than seeing a blue number at the top of the screen! [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~Story Mode/Campaign This is the main story mode, all battles are 3 screens of fun filled played out movies (why I call it an Anti-RPG), one of the few places things like HP/Energy regen actually matter. Now, there are currently 16 chapters unlocked in this game, and unless you need to get to the raids for your Guild (explained later), I wouldn't worry about "beating" the game. Since this game gives out random heros from chests, and everyone levels up different chars, I really can't (or won't) give out tips and set-ups, other than DO NOT TRY TOO MANY TIMES IF YOU FAIL! Although the failed stamina used gets added to your team exp, you will not get the items... some elite stages can eat up 24 stamina, and the amount wasted there, I believe is 4. However, I would make it a point to get to the end of Chapter 14's normal (to open up the Dragon raid, some good items there, and if you are all around the same level, he will take very long your first time) AND Chapter 12's Elite. That is so you have some more soul stones to farm, like the elusive second Admiral. (Don't stress her too much, you can farm her in the bronze chest, more on that later). Chapter 15 uses some of the newer heroes, and new enemies from the Ancient Temple stages, which DO HUGE AMOUNTS OF DAMAGE, so failing at level 89, when they are all level 95+, is ok... it happens if you didn't use one good team (like me.) Before Legendary quests unlock (you must be gold and level 90, some are done in campaign), you'll want to use Campaign mostly for Elites, so you can farm soul stones... some tips: (For SOUL STONE FARMING) 1. Figure out who you will immedaitly need, VS someone you can take time on. ---For instances, I use all chicks, but my Phy. Sword and Master Mages are not only under equipped, but aren't really needed yet for the teams I'm making, so when I farm them, I might just get one a day... However, I was a little late going for Depths Voice (the second and only true female tank that is reasonalbe to get), so I not only do both her levels, but reset the tries ONCE for 20 gems... that isn't bad, even on a VIP0's salary... Doing more than one hero will tax you... AND NEVER DO THE 50 GEM RESET UNLESS IT IS ON A DOUBLE SOUL STONE DROP SPECIAL! (VIP0's can't reset, this is why it is IMPORTANT to start farming for your chosen heroes right from the gate) So if a hero is exclusive to campaign, and you want him, make sure you start as early as possible to avoid wasting gems later like me! Here they are: War Chief (Overused, weak, but revives for lots of meat shielding) Soul Hunter (Good for portals) Shadow Shaman (Ok for 1 portal, otherwise use the above) Lightning Elemental (Special takes to long to charge, no use at 86+) Ice Mage (Good for 1 portal, if you use her, you are getting specials off) Savage One (Good for high raid damage) Vengance Spirit (Good for Arena, farm 2nd level for Bloody Eyes!) Depths Voice (The other sexy snake, destroyies Arcane sapper) Professional Killer (Useless, gets interupted soon) Nercomaner (I can't find a use...) Silencer (Decent, you need a silencer) Imperial Exacutioner (Very FUn to use hero) Bear Warrior (Limited use, ok, but better tanks) Brute (Same as above, I usually target teams using him for free wins) Master Mage (Good for 1 portal, and a VERY situtional nuke) Mountain (Read Brute) Psychic Sword (Like Assassin/Sapper, only not balls weak) Warrior Monk (Read Mountain) BUT, if you planned ahead, like I did, she would be 5 stars by now! If you are VIP0, it's kind of a paradox, as you aren't going to be needing her if you want a broken party anytime soon. If you are VIP0, it is urgent you figure out who you need, and start farming the second the elite stages open up. 2. Avoid raiding elite stages that have "1 Star Heroes", which inclue any of the ones you start with (admiral, chap, lightning master, Eva, and shadow leave), and any of the heroes that take just ten soul stones to summon, (A few exceptions are a hand full of sign in heroes, like Ember Blade, Drawf Warrior, and Crusade Knight.) So here is a list, and naturally, if you REALLY need them fast, sure, do both raids and bronze chests (Basically all these hereos I mention, can be bought in the bronze chest, which I'll explain more about in a later section) Admiral Chaplin Shadow Leaf Emberstar Lightnign Master Phsychopath Cleric Machinist Arcane Sapper Shallows Keeper Sniper ^These are found in story mode, so DO NOT WASTE STAMINA on them since the bronze chest has them. Trust me, if you plan on being good, you'll have them all by the time you start going for 90th level legendaries. VThese are found else where, and can be bought in the Crusade shop to speed up the rate you get soul stones for the soul stone shop. As the SSS is more expensive than the regular shops, I would urge to only do this in an emergency... as well as because just like all the bronze chest heroes, eventually you'll you won't need to buy things for that shop any more. Vanguard Warrior Commando Pheonix Mystic (Only Place to get him at the moment) Rifleman (Only Place to get him at the moment) Light Bringer (Rare) Lighting Spirit (Rare) Tusked Storm (Very Rare) So quickly stating, the first list are one found in both campaign and the bronze chest... since money can be gotten in many ways, and you'll end up 5 staring these all any ways, I would suggest avoiding farming for them (again, adm, chap, and shadow may be done as they are very crucial to many parts of the game). The bottom list aren't found in campaign, but are found in the chest, so if you were too lazy to look at that section, they are are for you! 3. Avoid farming heroes found in other shops. Since they all change, I really can't point out who will stay, or who won't, but an example: Lunar Guardian, if you choose to get her, use the shop to get 5 peices a day... otherwise you'll waste a good 100+ stamina and at around 40-140 gems a day! Considering the campaign is limited, you'll need to maximize it by getting heroes that are exclusive to it. But don't be a player who buys 5 soul stones just to have all of his people 5 stars. It is pointless, and you'll get destroyed farther down the line. 4. Soul Stones drop an average of 1/3 of the time... but there is a rule, as with purple/gold items, YOU CAN NEVER GET A SOUL STONE TWICE IN A ROW! Keep in mind, you can sometimes go six stages before getting a stone... So advice if you want to be frugal, if you have say, two tries left after getting a soul stone, it's a big gamble if you'll get another soul stone. It's happened to me many times, but you'll never have to worry about wasting tries if you don't. I do not know if the data cycles over to the next day, I don't care. Most heroes have two stages, so getting 3 2 3 2 4 3 2 in over a week isn't going to make a huge difference over 3 4 3 4 3 4 3. 5. Start with the lower stamina costing stages first if you are farming multiple heroes, hero experience should take a back seat when you are looking for stones. Other Campaign tips: When you farm for items, make sure you try to stick with one item. Towards the end of the game, items not only drop less, but they take a crazy amount of fragments, like 80. So I tend to avoid them all together, and find them in other ways... remember if you are VIP0, you'll have less stamina tries. The best and most common place to farm is chapter 14's first level, it has a bloody eye drop and a wizard hat. I would recommend doing the two final levels at least once till a Saphire Staff and Scimatar can be made, if you have been buying out the shop each day, you should have roughly 45-60 peices by now. When using the Raid button, it may seem wise to jam the Raid ten button if you are a VIP, as it saves 3 tickets, but you can end up wasting stamina if you get the items you need, and the last raid was nothing. I personally avoid raiding, not only does it waste items, and makes the game go faster. Enjoy it, use different heroes... A tips from me: As you can only hold 999 exp items, if you spread exp around to your chars from the Campaign, they have that exp forever. Since raiding gives you equal amounts in exp items, you can sometimes waste them, leaving you in a pickle once you level up, more on that in the Exp section Beware, the enemies in the Campaign DO NOT FOLLOW THE SAME GAME CODES AS YOU DO. They have extremely high levels and low ranks/stars... but they are usually much stronger than them... most times, if you are weak, the first wave is the hardest, as you don't have specials charged up. Keep in mind that the enemy heroes DO NOT FOLLOW THE SAME GAME CODES AS YOU DO. Why did I say that again? Don't worry about "damaging" too much before special get off... as everyone knows, the "weaker" hero usually wins the mirror match as he will charge the counterparts heroes faster, that may be true for the Baby Steps Arena and the Big Boy Arena, but not in story mode... enemy heroes blast off specials at certain times, usually too fast, so the use of silence and other Tom Foolery may be needed. So if you are wondering why that sexy blonde icy in stage whatever in the elite Chapter 13 is nuking you the second you step in, this is why! ALWAYS try to buy as much stamina you can afford, but remain making a gem profit. Many players are against buying items, but I like gems incase of an emergency... again, I burn gems on arena cool downs, so DO NOT DO THAT. I mentioned before, and will again, ALWAYS buy the 30 stamina admiration, if you can't afford 30,000 buy the time you enter guilds, there is a serious problem. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~(Baby Steps) Arena I call it the Baby Steps arena because it hardly takes any real input to be good in it. Lets face it, we KNOW this game has broken characters and it's not hard to stack them all on one team. It's also VERY easy to make a better team than someone who tries to be good in the Big Boy/real Arena, AKA the Grand Arena. This is because it isn't hard to deck out one team on a VIP0 salary... but to do so on 10-15 characters, that's a bit harder. Some basics, along with the Grand Arena, your rank is calculated at the end of this games "day" and as long as you aren't screwing with your cell phones time zone, it should be at 9 o clock. With this in mind, if you are VIP anything, you should STRIVE to get into the top ranks in the Grand Arena. Not only are the coins more important (both for having the most broken heroes and items needed for Gold +1/+2 equip ranks, more on this in the shop section.) Ok, so back to the arena, me personally, I do not care about my rank. Since I'm higher in the Grand Arena, I hunt the Arena to level up my weaker heroes and to test set-ups. Unlike the Grand Arena, there is no guess work, you see enemies, that's what they are. It's important to remember that just because you out class an enemy, does NOT MEAN YOU WILL BEAT THEM. Now, besides the fabled "30%" rule, in which the defending team gets more energy (fabled, need to make sure it's not 20%). Here is why: Lets say you have an Emberstar, as does the enemy... If you are just one level higher, you will likely attack faster, filling up the enemies special meter faster... then guess what? YOU'LL TAKE THAT ONE HIT KILL NUKE TO THE FACE! Respect opponents you beat at higher levels in this matter, otherwise you not only look like a jerk, but you show you know NOTHING about the game! Same with equip levels, you can easily take on, say, a team of stacked golds with a team of Purple +4's. It's important to remember that enchanting comes into play, more on that in the enchanting section. The other reason I call it the Baby Steps arena, is because you can easily counter teams with the correct set up. Someone has a a stacked mage team like an idiot? Arcane Sapper that nub :D You can also use this info to guage how well a team, especially the hidden lines of teams in the Grand Arena, more on that in the Big Boy Arena section. The reason it's important for a VIP0 to get ahead ASAP is the gems, not the arena tokens. I suggested to aim for a better rank in the Grand Arena if you are a VIP with the card as the gems you gain from daily reward will out weight the wasted investment of your heroes. Why is that a wasted investment? Well if you focus on just one team, someone like me will punish you for it in the Grand Arena. I can get more Coins in both arenas than these types of people, and they were sometimes much higher level! This is going to sound funny, but to make an attacking arena team, just follow these simple steps: Use Cloud Warrior, Fallen Dominion, Commando, Ember Blade, Machinist, Old Curse. These heroes can be put on ALMOST any team, and in almost any order and you'll have a very high rank. It's not even funny how many people use these broken players. One important thing about the arena, NEVER SPREAD OUT YOUR SOUL STONE REDEMPTIONS! Out of all the shops, you get FAR less regular arena tokens, so makes sure you know who you need or want, and stick with it! More on that in the shop section. For defense, you don't want to stack too many of the same type of heroes. I personally will use Master Mage to humilate people, even using Chaplin. Also, on the flip side, do not use one trick ponies, Like the Sapper on defense, you are just asking to get pegged by a smarter player. Not only does this make you look like a nub, by showing a Sapper, etc, will let smart people figure out your line ups in the Grand Arena... Most people hide Sappers, and having one in the arena for everyone to see is just dumb. Lastly, as with the Grand Arena, the formula to seeing higher ranks, is based off how high you are, For instance, you need to be rank 7 to attack 1, but 4000 can see 2000. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~(Big Boy) Grand Arena If you are level 60, and your rank is lower in the Grand Arena than in the baby steps arena you are doing SOMETHING VERY WRONG, and WASTING A LOT OF POTENTAIL coins. See, unlike the baby steps arena, the big boy arena gives out coins every 2 minutes... granted the lowest I remember is 28 per hour, it's not that big of a daily difference than 29... 24 extra a day... but if you have 34, like you ALL SHOULD HAVE AFTER READING THIS GUIDE, that's an extra 200. Now, the best part of the Grand Arena is that if you get attacked, and lose, you can't be "sniped" or "screwed" out of a whole days work. Take the opposite arena for example, a few of my guild members hunt a particular guild on our server, if I find out their ranks suck in the Grand Arena, we'll punish them. Where as in the Grand Arena, you'll only potentailly lose out on the regular coins, but their is another advantage: Most of the time, if someone snipes you, there is a good chance they suck (it's why they keep getting lower) and you can easily attack them back, assuming you pay attention to the little red dot on the Arena Logo and have a try. Now, the Grand Arena is best 2 out of 3. This means you can totally dominate with only working on two teams. NOW VIPS OF ALL LEVELS, THIS IS WHY I DO GOOD, LISTEN UP: I don't care oh unique you think you are, EVERY TEAM NEEDS ONE TANK. No, ...Ember Blade IS NOT A TANK. ...Fallon Dominion IS NOT A TANK. ...Clould Wanker IS NOT A TANK. ...Deathy Mage IS NOT A TANK. ...Assane Sapper IS NOT A (true) TANK. ONE TANK, NOT TWO TANKS. Two tanks, you'll get hit with with double the damage, and since most tanks have crap ultimates, it usually doesn't work out... and you look like a nub. (There are exceptions on attacking teams, but if you double tank on defense, you'll most likely pay for it.) Now, the reason I did so good (I even missed a very important weak, the 86's, when everyone was getting their free saphire staves and scimatars...) is because I focused on TWO tanks before the back ups. Here is why, if your second team has a weak tank, you are dead, unless you stack those above mentioned chars... but then you leave your main team without them... and guess what? You'll get 2 & 0's ASAP by nearly everyone. So this may hurt your other minor things such as trails, etc, but TRUST ME, all the cool kids are doing this... and it gets you mad chicks!, or dudes, if you're into that kind of thing. This is why I said if you are VIP0, you'll want to focus on the regular arena, as you can't afford to have this two tank system as quick. My first 2 golds where Admiral and Depths Voice, and I'm pretty sure there are A LOT of people that HATE getting hit with that net :D There is A LOT of mind games to play with this game, but one very important thing, NEVER SHOW AN OBVIOUSLY WEAK TEAM. One example, a guy is around level 88 lets say, and he put in a middle line with a few 80's... Why is that a bad idea? Well you 100% give someone a win with their B team. Now, figuring out what they are using is the FUn of the Big Boy Arena, if you are like me, you write these things down, and have people give you tips. Here are self tips: EVERYONE uses Fallon Dominion, Cloud Warrior, Emberblade, Commando. These are THE ONLY heroes that should make a difference. If they aren't using them, they are a noboby... Joking, but you can't over estimate if you all ready put your good team up... but you can screw yourself. So using this advice, I'll give you two examples: Say you are like me and have a lot of squishy women heroes (not to be confused with fat, Video Game rules state main charachers in Animation style games have no fat chicks), you'll want to avoid putting magic teams VS Ember Blade, as he is annoying. SO SO ANNOYING... Any ways, forget that, so you see an Ember Blade, you don't attack that team with your magic users, but if you don't see an EB, you assume it's on the bottom team. Though people rarely hide EB, and he's usually on the stronger team, some people spread out their defense... same with Sapper, and Silence teams. Guess what? If you have two tanks and level up two parties, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE ABLE TO KILL THESE PEOPLE, but they can also easily take you back out, so beware. Same with Cloud Walker, if you don't see him, try not to stack the bottom team with "missile" heroes, like Succy and Windy. Now obviously if you see a team with ALL these broken heroes, skip them, and it's foolish of that person (basically the person is admitting he doesn't deserve that rank), these are the kind of players I mentioned before, who stack an arena team, and then neglect their grand arena. These are the same players who use portal heroes... yea if you see a team with Pilot, Poison One, and Chap, you probably found the easy team. If you see a Chap on a team, you are probably going to win if you are using your second strongest tank team. NEVER EVER USE 1 HERO BECAUSE YOU THINK IT IS FASTER, the winning teams hero ALL get exp. (The team has to win overall) Again, most players hide their weak team, so if you can kill one of their shown teams with your B team, it's pretty much a free win if you stack the bottom, assuming the team you skip has a lot of overpowered heroes. (I found a large amount of asain/russian/italian players on my server who hid good teams... this is silly) Many players who separate and spread out there good heroes usually put Commando on the weaker team (if it's on the strong team DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, GET THE FREE WIN!!!), so the way Vs Commando works: If you fight the team: Use Commando, or don't fight it. I can't tell you how much of an advantage Comm is when you are using spaced out (in terms of power) teams. Notice I keep saying "hidden lines" and similar things? This is because I'm refering to the top 500's, in which you should never leave if you have been following my tips. Top 50 has Two hidden lines, but I personally don't care too much about that, as from 50 to 199, YOU STILL GET YOUR 34 per hour! True less people can see you, but it isn't like the regular arena, most people are too lazy to constantly play the Grand Arena. You shouldn't need any tips while playing in the 500's to 10000 area. But when going for the top 500s, it's a good idea, if you have tries left, to always see the back lines. If it's someone who always attacks you, or someone you always see changing ranks, write down their set up. And tell your friends. The good part about using two teams (before you get a third good one) is it shouldn't matter if your hidden line is revealed, you should be getting your ranks back asap. Again, if you spread out, it's fine, but don't leave obvious gaps in your visable teams, because you don't want people to know they can 2 & 0, as you will be their safty net. More on general arena tactics in my War section, much later. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~Ancient Temple *ATs DO NOT GIVE COINS IF YOU COMPLETE YOUR OWN, IF YOU DO, YOU ARE A JERK* Very quick section, but if you can't beat these, you are either in a clan of people WAY HIGHER than you, or you SERIOUSLY need to fix your account. *ATs DO NOT GIVE COINS IF YOU COMPLETE YOUR OWN, IF YOU DO, YOU ARE A JERK* Ancient Temples, or "AT" is a special "fight" that was added to the game not to long ago. *ATs DO NOT GIVE COINS IF YOU COMPLETE YOUR OWN, IF YOU DO, YOU ARE A JERK* Some basics: A temple can be found doing Campaigns, Trails, and probably Rifts, I can't confirm... but in all the time playing this game, I never once missed getting a temple... it could be on your very last stamina usage. *ATs DO NOT GIVE COINS IF YOU COMPLETE YOUR OWN, IF YOU DO, YOU ARE A JERK* Now Temples usually spawn with a center temple amoung your level, and two side temples with one level below you. The enemies are random, but these are the ones used for the 5+6 trails, the Drawf rift, and chapter 15+16. *ATs DO NOT GIVE COINS IF YOU COMPLETE YOUR OWN, IF YOU DO, YOU ARE A JERK* The best strategy here is to use heroes that can damage everyone easily. Hidden Needle, Lunar Knight, Vengance Spirit, etc are ALL very good choices. The enemies some times have "Crusade" Knights in the front, and some visious archers and cannoners that can attack your weak members. There are also monkeys that charm you with bannanas (not sure if only works on chicks), and a witch that can TURN YOU INTO A LLAMA! *ATs DO NOT GIVE COINS IF YOU COMPLETE YOUR OWN, IF YOU DO, YOU ARE A ****** * The prizes change on your level, I know earlier it was MoonGlow, Bag of Holding, Yew Bolts, and something else, now it's MoonGlow, Wizard Hats, Silver Lances, and Staff of Rawlis'. The range from 3-6 of them, and you can even get three drops of a single type... just hope it isn't MOONGLOWS! (If you don't know why that is the bad drop, you didn't read the "item" or "equip" section, I didn't even write it at the time of writing this. I should also tell you that I don't proof read either... so if you wonder why I put a lot of "..." in every FAQ I write, it's when I think... which is very rare. Thinking is for Scrubs :D) *ATs DO NOT GIVE COINS IF YOU COMPLETE YOUR OWN, IF YOU DO, YOU ARE A ***** * Now, you don't need to be in a guild to do or find a temple, however YOU NEED TWO OTHER PEOPLE TO COMPLETE IT, so you need to be in a guild. Now, I HATE when people complain that their temple isn't being done... you have EIGHT HOURS! Here is how you do it, and don't be like the whiney "that guy" and beg for them... people hate that... but don't just invite the top five either. *ATs DO NOT GIVE COINS IF YOU COMPLETE YOUR OWN, IF YOU DO, YOU ARE A *** * See, chances are, the people at the top are always on, like me, I get like 30 invites a day, I'm not even bull **** ing you. So inviting me is wasting a shot at completely your temple. So use this idea, invite 3 people that you think don't get enough temples right off the bat, THEN ask in the guild chat and ONLY INVITE THE LAST TWO WHO ACTUALLY AGREE TO COMPLETING THEM. This way if the first 3 don't do it, you can complete the last one yourself, but wait till the last hour as... *ATs DO NOT GIVE COINS IF YOU COMPLETE YOUR OWN, IF YOU DO, YOU ARE A ******* ******* ****BAG LITTLE ****** * Do you know why I am stressing that? If you are in my clan, and do your own temple, I tell people not to invite you. See, you get 50 guild coins for each, and max of 250 a day, combined with the 240 for doing a guild raid, this keeps the "Buy a hero in the shop a day" jig going. If you do your own, you are effectively eliminating a 1/3 of the coins that can be reaped... so you aren't a team player. So if you want to alienated, do your own temples. There is NO excuse, you do someone else's temple, you get coins, you do your own, you don't, if you can't put two and two together, you, again, are either not a team player, or shouldn't be reading this... or couldn't be reading this. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~Booty Cave Probably the MOST negected part of the game... I hear people on other forums bitch and moan that they can't raid these... THAT'S THE WHOLE FUN! You actually have to fight! First lets start off with making a cave: Unless you hit VIP5, you have to option to make two caves at no cost (At VIP 5 it doubles, and trust me, the amount of freebies are worth it, in fact, it's one of the ONLY three useful VIP features, along with 50% more guild coins and double crusade). So before you go dumping all your strongest heroes in the cave, make sure you co-ordinate with your guild so you can have some good campers in the guild (more on that in the guild section). Any ways, it's standard, but you have to make a choice: Do you want to farm money or exp potions? I choose exp potions, and unless you really don't need exp, choose coins. Here is why... coins you can get any where, where as exp potion are limited. See here is the thing, most people don't attack exp, they attack $$$$ caves. This is because you can keep doing them, where as you will lose a lot of money going for exp. The amount of exp potions that can be gained for attacking is very small, even if you need them, you might not even get enough to get a level... Either way, you should be attacking for the gems any ways, and not the other crap... so again, going for coins will keep you going. Now, when it comes to attacking, here are some tips: You can attack via Crusade rules, as you can keep trying as long as you have bread left (buy the way, NEVER buy bread, other than the max enchant feature, it's beyond the worst way to spend gems), but the key to maximumizing gold (or exp) when you attack, is to attack well and try to kill on the first try. Remember, most people on older severs have 4 caves (and with the caves system, its the only way to see other servers). So it's important to think about that... not everyone is strong, just because the team is higher level, and 5 stars, doesn't mean it's equipped well. Think about when they use portal heroes, or heroes everyone has 5 starred, like crusade shop pheonix, pilot, rifleman, etc. There is a good chance they are easier than they appear. Opposite if you see heroes like fallon dominion, emberblade, and what not. These are most likely their arena teams, if they are a high level, avoid them, as if you fail with your good team, you'll eat up much more bread trying. So when it comes to avoiding this, here are some of things you need to avoid (assuming you are facing a higher level opponent). 1. Enemies one equip level above you, only if they are all 5 stars and good heroes. Especially if you start seeing teams with more than one "L". Good chance that team is stacked. If you are 89 and under, it might be wise to re-roll the cave. 2. Enemies that have a lot of fast all targeting opening spells. Example, a strong Death Mage and/or ember blade... if you lose to this team, they will open again with that attack and it's a losing battle. 3. Healing teams. The reason you want to avoid stronger healing teams is obvious: You'll find them, they will heal, and you'll waste effort. 4. Hidden Needle. I have my server's undisputed BEST Needle, don't question this. (At least for my level, I don't care what those VIP11+ easy players have) 5. Commando. The reason you don't want to lose to her team, is because to next time you fight her, you won't have a commando, assuming you are like 98% of the game and use commando. Remember, the winning team will have a LARGE energy boost, so it's wise to save YOUR opening attackers, like Deathy and Ember Blade. As well as saving Needle, Venge Spirit, and Lunar for mop ups if you need to try again. You'll find out fallen dominion is bad on the second round, so don't be afraid to use him first. When faced with multiple equal level teams, it's not a bad idea to use a Chap against the weakest team, unlike the crusade, you don't have a 5-7 grace periond with easy teams, and a you don't want to waste 4 bread just to hit the third team and die. Now, if you are in a guild, you can choose who to invite, or invite all. Try not to have low levels join you. Here is why: When I was 86, I fought three teams, one was 91, I forget the second, but the 3rd was a team of 60's. I murdered the 91 team because I went in with fully charged specials... in under 15 seconds, 3 stars. Now, do you think I would of had the same results if the 60 team wasn't there? Hell no, so just because you think you are helping, doesn't mean you are. You can also pick three times, 10 hours, 3 hours, and I forget the middle one (face it Ucool, no one picks that one lol). I select the 10 hours one, because I'm not worried about maximumizing a cave, and if you forget (which you will), it will at least last you long... like if you sleep like a normal adult. The 3 hours cave is actually the best, as you can place it in funky time zones to avoid getting attacked, for instances, the best time to not get attack would be to set a 3 hour cave two hours away from the East coast of the Atlantic, when the East coast wakes up, they usually don't go right to attacking like crazy, maybe one or two, but never the full 50. This is minor, the amount you'll save isn't worth the headache. But now if you are VIP0, here is a neat little trick to get gems... when you do ANY cave activity, you get a single gem NO MATTER WHAT, so if you enter a guild mates cave at the last minute, you can get the benifits... again, if you aren't VIP0, you really don't need to be that picky... And lastly, you can get screwed on caves if you play casually... if you are like me, and set the phone down and just auto battle, BE SURE TO REMEMBER IT'S ON! You only have 10 minutes to complete the cave. Never search for a cave under 5 bread and over 9 minues till your next bread. The game as a nack for popping out 3 caves when you have low bread. The last way you can screw yourself if you exit out of the cave entirely with the loot still on the ground... something I can't understand, if you try to refresh the cave, it'll tell you to pick the loot up, but if you exit, it goes away? Same goes for if you search for a cave and exit the game (or it freezes), yup, bone city. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~Enchanting/Equipment Like most games, you can upgrade your equipment. At first glance, you might not think this is important... oh baby is it important. This section right here, alone, can give you that edge, OR EVEN BREAK YOUR CHARACTER! (Not the good kind of broken) Ok, the basics. To upgrade an item, you use both items and gold. This is pretty obvious, and you should be doing this at least once a day for the free quest. In reguards to the gold: Other than the two circumstances I'll list below, try to NEVER enchant the fifth star on crap items, or even "OK" items. A crap/OK item is one that has one/many low abilities. Like the bloody or all around shoes. The marginal amount of increase isn't worth the hundreds of thousands. A good item is something with either a large boost (like weapons with +40 attack, you'll notice the difference) OR a unique ability, such as Life Steal, basically ones you don't see often. In reguards to the items you'll be sacrifing (I totally spelled that wrong, and that isn't even a code lol): I personally keep 100 of every item, though many go down to 20. One this for sure: TRY TO NEVER JUST SELL ITEMS! You never know! Now, some tips, items that need reels/fragments, try to avoid using them, unless you know you won't need them. Like Ice Staves, you might need those for shoes, remember each hero takes AT LEAST 80 Ice Frags to max out with the shoes... and absolutely don't use any item that is in a recipe for Jac's Ruby Lvl 1/2/3/4, that Spiral Shell looking thing for Chap, The Shadow Warden book... as if you say, sell all the Owl looking staves that make up the Ruby Lv1, you might be in a rut later on. The good news is, once you start opening the bronze chest and start getting blue items, you'll have a few in the 100's by the time you get to them that offer 60+, which is good. You do get some of the materials back, but not nearly enough of what you put in (I know a 3-4 star everything might give you 5 Primials), AND it's important to know THAT THE ENCHANTING GIVES WASTED WHEN YOU PROMOTE... Read like two paragraphes down for details. Ok, that's the easy stuff, you got that? Now here is the thing that can give you that boost, or make you get that light bulb over your head and say "oh that's why I'm getting killed by Purple+4's and I'm Gold!" ***DO NOT GET GOLD CONFUSED WITH STACKED GOLD*** What does that mean? 9 times out of 9, a FULLY euqipped/enchanted Purple+4 is STRONGER THAN A GOLD WITH NO EQUIPS! I'm going to give an example, but if you take ONE THINGS FROM THIS SECTION, it is to NEVER promote unless you have at least 3 items (including a good item), I personally do it at four equips. Remember, Shoes/Eyes ARE NOT GOOD ITEMS. Here is the example: A Fallon Dominion, the most used and broken Char in the game, on his Purple +4 rank, he has TWO items with life steal on them. I'm pretty sure his Gold doesn't, want to make sure? Click on the "shirt" logo on the Hero screen. Now, if you max enchant him, you will have more than 33% more life steal, now on a nearly unkillable hero, it makes him even more deadly. If you promote him without getting equips before hand, you just ruined him. Now, some may EVEN argue that he is better than a Gold no matter how you enchant him, but since the game has game out with Gold 1+2, and 90-100, the amount of damage you do with exceptionally decrease, voiding the life steal advantage. BUT, keep that in mind. It might be hard saving rare items and seeing a green dot, and holding it from someone who needs it... but that's what I love about this game, it gives you so many choices. Please don't go to another website and try to figure out what to get... get a favorite characher. Unless it's the Professional Killer, he's bad. One last tip: Don't bother with enchanting before purple +4, unless you just hit say, purple +3, and want to have an absolutely unbeatable arena team. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~Crusade The reason I play this game, even if the crusade is getting easier (with the over use of "Ninja Assassin" he is just a free kill, amoung the idiots who use Ember Blade/Fallon Dominion as a tank). Ok, so the basics of basics: Your opponents teams are from your server, and are those from their Arena set up. Now opponents are choosen based off your rank, the first 5 being WAY below your skill, and the final three usually being MUCH MUCH stronger. I've done the crusade at rank 3500ish, and I've done it at sub 500, and I can tell you, it is not worth deranking. I personally didn't notice a difference. Now before you begin, you have TWO options right from the start... Normal Crusade: Functions just like the normal game, you know how when you "walk" to another screen, you regain health and energy, depending on those stats that are often over looked on items. Hard Crusade: Those items are over looked because REAL MEN play HARD! In this mode, ONLY TWO THINGS CHANGE: No regeneration at the end of battle but EVERYTHING is doubled! Now, if you hear my call high VIPs easy mode, it's because at a certain VIP level, YOU GET TWO CRUSADES! (No dragon coins in the second one...) Why is that easy? The normal crusade gives you an INSANE amount of coins. The hard crusade gives you DOUBLE (Around 4,000,000) If you have VIP whatever, you CAN RAID THE CRUSADE if you beat it the first time. Let me put this in propective for you: At level 90, once you hit it, you can level up each and every skill from 89-90 with about 5,000,000. This is going off of 15 heroes for the Grand Arena + Chap. Basically, the crusade gives you money that you can't get any where else, not even close. Ok, I'll try to stop hitting enter so much... The Crusade is also the easiest shop to max out or to get rich in, so I'd suggest you work on getting it done ASAP. The good news is, if you think you are in over your head, you can always go back to the Normal Crusade, but I warn you, if your guys are almost dead, it won't matter. Naturally there is NO POINT in demoting if you are at the last stage. One more thing on the difficulty, it's rumored that it does effect the drops, that I'm not sure about, however, I am positive that the higher the stage doesn't really matter. I've gotten my best items (Bloody eye was on the first stage of hard...) all on low levels, while the final stage gives out crap like no tomorrow. Before I get into set-ups and junk, the crusade is set up like this. (Remember, Dragon Coins (DC) are doubled in hard, and only in the first crusade if your VIP level allows for a higher rank. The second crusade gives out regular gold ($), that is still there. The number of items that are doubled on hard go like this, say on normal you get that berry branch, if you were on Hard, you'd get 2, not a whole new item) 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 15

Yes you can do the crusade without her, but chances are you need her if you are reading this :D Don't feel bad, I use her too! Normal Crusade: You won't even need to try to complete the normal crusade if you are leveling up the correct way. In fact, you can use a much more diverse array of heroes. One big difference is the use of Succubus. If you have her, she is a godsend, as not only does her special recharge super fast (it's not uncommon to have her scream twice and be filled before the next round), but if you use her in a the middle, her screem will cancel the commando's opening arrow... and since you want your tank alive, this will give you an edge. Not more I can say... however on hard... Hard Crusade: The difference on hero selection is limited. Here is the party I use, and it's almost needed. Death Knight/Death Mage/Frost Mage/Chapilan/Commando Death Knight will stay alive, probably the best tank, he'll most likely protect your squishy frosty as well. The key to his ultimate usage: Use it to block a commando's arrow (not against Iron Hoof as you'll need to wait any ways to attack) OR if the enemy has a Fallen Dominion. Since his ultimate absorbs damage, the fallen will just waste time and heal you, plus, even a low level FD can rip you to shreds if left alone long enough. Death Mage will not only open up with a strong attack and silence enemies, but her special not only should recharge fast (for next round usage) but WILL HEAL HER! The best part is, while it is active, you can still gain energy! Just make sure, if the enemy has the over used Ember Blade, to let the opening attack go first, as it can actually make him twitch and cancel his shield! Remember, a key to staying alive is to make sure Ember Blade is killed as fast as possible without him using his ultimate. This is where Frosty comes into play, her special does more damage to "clumped" up enemies, so using it at the beginning should kill off, hopefully, the ember blade and the fallon dominion, and even a cloud walker! Now if Ember blade is in the 3rd/4th row, or they have an iron hoof, DO USE THE SPECIAL UNTIL HE IS BACK INTO PLACE. As well as any other special, as he will gain back some life. Now there is a reset button, you can use the retreat button with no penalty, so I suggest taking advantage of it. Commando's special should be used ONLY if FD or EB survives, and possibly to get rid of cloud walker's clones. You'll want to use this to kill enemies, as her special doesn't charge as fast as frosty/deathy. Her speed boost is also important, even in the earlier stages. With the inclusion of the ninja, it's important to have her fully charged. Chap's usefullness is quite clear, when many of your heroes are hurt, heal. Just try not to do this while an Old Curse is about to blow frost, or if the match is about to end. The best time to do this is when a Pheonix is blowing of the special, has it will keep you alive and charge her energy back up. Too bad no one used Pheonix as much, same with War Chief, they provide a lot of extra energy and little threat. (Before I go on to this section, Old Curse and Mystik are comely used, but I don't use them, you can, and definite should, though Mystik is harder to get.) Ok, so like the help section says, try to level up the specials of as many heroes as you can in the first five stages, this is important if you don't have a jacked arena team, and spread out your heroes like me for a better grand arena. So use these tips: Put in a new tank each round, I used War Chief First, then Depths Voice, then Admiral, then hired a Death Knight. The reason you need to switch tanks more often at the start, even if their special isn't charged, is because you'll be taking fire, and your healers and 11 second match enders aren't being used. Try to make sure your guild has a Death Mage/Knight in the camp, if they don't here is a GREAT way to make money, DO IT YOURSELF! Ok, so along with the changing heroes, I also like to put in a fallen dominion for the weak party, to act as carriage. Use commando VS commando teams. Also during this "level special time", try to fit in someone on your main team, but absolutely level up your "nuke" heroes: Succubus, Windmaster, Master Mage (lol), Hidden Needle (if you have her), Old Curse, pretty much anything strong. Here is why, if you get to the end of the crusade, and hit a team that is just too strong, you can sub in TWO of these heroes, replacing Chap and Death Knight. I commonly do this on the final match, and unless they have a War Cheif, the match is over so ****ing fast. There really isn't too much to know about, than you can retreat at no cost, NEVER try to fail a match, because just like the booty caves, you'll give the defending team a large energy boost... and if they were strong enough to kill your better team while you had specials and they didn't, well do I even need to spell out how the opposite won't end well? FUn fact: You can find not only your own guild mates in crusade, but even yourself at the end if you are at the top of your server. I'd like to thank my guild, Insominac (110046783/78Rexus) for almost making me demote at 13/14 :D [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~Trails (If you think I spelled that wrong, that was on purpose) Trials, unlike portals should be focused on first as they come around much more, and unlike Rifts, they hold important items. Some basics, there are 3 trails, twice a week, they rotate, and on Sunday, they are ALL open. They can be done 5 items a day, and the only penalty is if you hire someone and fail. Now if you want to know what items they give, just click on the trail on an off day, but generally the only tricky one to worry about is the All girl trial, as it will give out bloody eyes in the earlier versions, but replaces them with a lesser used Golden Ax. Magic Trial: Probably the easiest one for me, as I leveled up all female heroes. I pesonally use (for level 6): Admiral, Frost Mage, Ice Mage, Death Mage, and Chaplan. The key to this stage is to use heroes with strong ultimates. The tank I used is also good as she has a decent special. Do not be afraid to use a special from Deathy/Icy/Frosty on the last enemy. They have a ton of health, and you'll most likely get it all back at the end of the fight. Once I hit 86 I was pretty much able to auto battle this. Other good heroes are Old Curse, Succubus, etc etc, you get the point. You also really only need a Gold+ tank, as many of the enemies can't really do anything to the back lines. It's more of being able to kill them with the ninty seconds fast enough. Physical Trial: The medium difficulty trail, but semi hard for me. Now this one, before I decided to level up my Cloud Warrior, I need to do some serious work, but I figured out the ins and outs. The biggest issue with this triail is killing the Dragons fast enough, as they do a TON of damage, even to the point of one-two hitting most any Purple+4 maxed enchanted heroes. So you'll need a strudy stacked gold Tank, like Iron Hoof/Admiral, as well as Fallon Dominion, Cloud Walker, and Chap. If you can get those two tanks at Gold, and the rest at Purple+4, you'll be good. Now if you have a hidden needle, you can sub in a gold version of her in place of a tank, and as long as you can save a special for the final wave, you will be good. (Even if you don't kill the "cave" lord spider, making him go underground will save your tank a little longer. The Fallon Dominion is good to peg the dragons, and the Cloud Walker is almost needed to confuse and mis-direct all the missiles. Last tip: Try to have Cloud Walkers/Needles/Chaps special loaded for the final screen. Female Trail: Hardest trail, enemies have specials and use them WAY too fast! All gold Commando, Admiral, Venge Spirit, Death Mage, and Frost Mage will do this challenge without the use of a chap. All besides the VS can be 5 Star'D without the use of campiagn, but she has a ton of levels, so it shouldn't take long if you try for it. I'm not going to go in depth, but if you don't have a VERY good Admiral or Depths Voice as a Tank, you aren't going to be able to complete the 6th version when it opens up. Don't worry about it, because by the time you start needed the golden axes, as long as you aren't leveling up too many physical characters, you shouldn't worry about this trial until you are comforable. Focus on the above trail (Trust me, the Crystal Balls are by far the most important) or other portals. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~Rifts Rifts don't have any rare items in them, and I'm not going to go in too deep with what you need to do (I still will) as from 5 to 6, the differences can literally be non-existant in terms of prizes. Fishy Chicks and Savage one---------------------------------------------------- Choose your tank, Fallon Dominion, Chap, and Frost Mage, the forth doesn't matter. Don't use auto battle, only use specials when both fishy chicks use a regular attacks as you want to avoid the sleep/stone's effect from wasting your specials. I don't normally like using Fallen Dominion, but since he can't be stopped when he transforms, using him is a great idea! The items you get here are exp items, so again, if you are strong enough to kill the highest level, you probably don't even need them, so don't stress if you can't do it the second it opens up. The other rift is with Machines, and gives you money items. This is a little bit harder than the previous rift at 6, because the fire cannon tanks have too much health. There are two way to tackle these: 1. Is to use heroes with area of effect spells, best being Death Mage, as it will keep her alive. 2. Use heroes that can attack back lines well. Ember Blade, Ninja, Sapper, etc. Either way, always bring Chap, as with all your heroes, they will get damaged pretty evenly so specials are easy to fire off. Again, if you are strong enough to beat the 6th rift, you should be good enough to get well enough cash from the crusade to where the difference in the gold from level 5 to 6 shouldn't make a difference. I would do 5 more often than 6 because I was lazy, and would auto battle :D [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~Portals Now, I cover more on how you should progess in my VIP0 pro section... but these are the basics. If you want these down the fastest, look there for progression. Your goal is to get able to kill the 4th portal as fast as possible. They each hold a usually commonly used item, that is otherwise absent from the game (besides Temples and rarer Guild Raid prizes.) ALWAYS save your camp invites (merc) for this area. Cave Lord "Spider"------------------------------------------------------------- The goal to this portal is to make sure you have five alive and charged up fully by the time he pops up again. Machinist, Succubus, Soul Hunter, and Emp Executioner are the best choices for actual damage. Emberstar can be used too, but she's extra squishy and likes to die. I personally choose Hidden Needle. There are two things you can do to make sure your people stay alive: Use Soul Hunter, or a Tank. Soul Hunter's finsih is great, and keeps others alive. He also has "front line" better HP than if you choose no tank. The problem with him is if you are trying this VIP0, you won't get your hands on a decent Soul Hunter in a while and he's expensive to equip earily on. If you play and all of your players are just about to special, but don't, you may want to keep a spare Ice Mage just incase. Keep in mind that as you level, your defense increases, cause less energy regen, so in the event you are too weak till he pops out of the ground the 3rd time, or too weak to go onto the next portal, THIS MAY BE YOUR ONLY OPTION. Try to buffer your specials together, as the stun keeps him up longer, if you killed him before, and another time he has like 40% of this health, this is the reason why. (Basically hit your slower "over time" special first, then finish with the fast missiles, NEVER hit auto battle!) For VIP0: Use Machinist, Frost Mage, Succ, early on. In that order. Pheonix------------------------------------------------------------------------ The physical version of the above. If you have a Drunken Master of your own, this is very easy, but if you are going for your VIP0, it may be wise to hope someone in your guild does. He's common, but people need to remember to put him in during portal day! Cloud Warrior and Shadow Leaf are also a must, but you should have them or be getting them asap up to snuff any ways. If you use a Fallen Dominion, keep him uncharged he attackes twice a "turn" if you don't. Other than that, if you have the above, you can tackle level4 if they can survive. unlike the above, you'll want to blast off specials with "AUTO BATTLE" This is because he doesn't get stunned like above. Rifle and Vanguard Warrior are also options, and are easier to get than Drunk. Try avoid them if you can, because they are really only useful here. Rifle before Vang, as even if Vang stays alive, his down time can screw you up. Pilot too, but you'll be leveling him any ways. Dragon------------------------------------------------------------------------ You need fliers. There 6 at the moment, 5 for non VIP11+. Pheonix, Pilot, Old Curse, Poison One, and Master Mage. Three simple things: 1. You need a tank only if your guys aren't all level high enough. A tank will get frozen, so use Iron Hoof when you got him. Even if he dies too quick, he still had a shield. War Chief second. 2. You can place pilot behind him and avoid most of his attacks if you use his ultimate at the right time. If you get him to a pinch of heatlh, this can be the game changer. 3. If you can't do it with those two options, level up. For VIP0: Skip Master Mage and use a tank. Robo--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Phychopath is an absolute must He is a tank that can do some serious DoT time. Damage over time is ONLY poison or fire damage (on the ground fire) AND not specials like Ice Mages. You'll also need either a good healer (where Diesie Bringer is important) or a good silencer. The Robot CAN BE silenced, and if you are wondering how to survive long enough, this is the key. Other DoT's consist of Old Curse (I'd think about using him as he is good in the flying trial and arena), Poison One (who is a must for killing him in time), Succubus, and D. Bringer like I mentioned above. However, unlike the above trial, leveling up isn't just going to cut it if you don't have a silencer or other things I mentioned. VIP0: All of the above mentioned are found easy in non-campaign raiding methods, it's a matter of having them equipped and posibiliy using a party you don't really like. Raged Blood--------------------------------------------------------------------- This one is simple, it's all about who you leveled up. Chaplin is a must. For a tank, use your best (if you leveled cleric, great, Iron Hoof is the best, war Cheif is good as well) Have people that focus on healing, easy enough? The only other options is using Fallan Dominion (his clones/left steal keep him alive, and his high damage actually makes a difference) and/or Cloud Walker, also for his survivability. This is because of his clones, but also that lucky chance he can make the spear chuck the other way. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~Guild Life Guilds are the clan system in this game, and if you join one, you have access to another shop. Unless you are like me and create a certain type of guild (Quality/Assassin guild), don't create one UNLESS you are at the start of new server. Here is why... if you are later to the party, no one is going to join a new guild, when newer people search, they are 99% more likely to join the guild with 47/48/49 people over the group of friends of 3/4/5. But, if you can get a good 10 or so people, don't worry it can balance itself out well. The biggest reason to join a guild is part take is guild raids, in which you'll replay stages from chapter 7 and on. The enemies are different, they have A TON OF HEALTH (that does not regen), and can only be played if you beat that stage in "normal" campaign. You get money for each raid, and if you do two a day, you'll get roughly enough coins to buy a hero token from the shop a day (this is assuming you get 5 A. Temples as well, totally 490 points). Now, lets talk about balance. To a max of 600 points a day (which is VERY easy to do), you can add to your guilds "raid ham", it's that large number in the guild's top right corner, max of 200,000 (raids range from 40,000 to 70,000). So seeing that, you can see how a larger guild can open raids faster... But here is the double edged sword, you'll have to share more loot, and quite possibly with people that just entered the guild that didn't earn it. See, there was this big clan in my server, who ONLY goal was to slave drive it's members to go 600/600 a day so they can open raids... but it was so pathetic that some of the members joined dead clans so they can get all the items faster... literally defeating the purpose of opening raids faster! Bottom line, play for quality, not quanity. Activeness ties into quality, but not for the wrong reasons (opening raids). If you need to kick your best players for missing a weekend or a few points a day, you are admitting you suck... as any Pro player uses raids for a bonus, and not a serious means of obtaining items. Three Random tips for raids: 1. Savage One has a purpose, with his defense lowering skills, he can be a means of doing the most single round damage. 2. When fighting the wierd monster with the lanterns who can summon heroes to his side, SAVE YOUR SPECIALS FOR WHEN HE USES THAT SHIELD! If you use a lot of multihitting heroes, and break it, not only does it give you a HUGE power boost, but heals you to full. 3. The Dragon at the end of chapter 14 switches eleaments every 33%. He starts with Ice, which silences. So be sure to use Shadow Leaf, Cloud Walker, etc. His next shift goes to fire, which lowers defense, and then Lightning, which if I remember correctly, blinds you. Guilds also are needed for Ancient Temples, read that section above for more details. Remember to co-oridinate with your members for the merc camp, this is a part of the game that a lot of people neglect. For instances, don't put in your Fallen Dominion just because he's strong, EVERYONE has a strong one all ready. Use Portal only heroes you chose to level, and especially those hard to get campaign heroes. Look at this for an example. For the flying portal, Pheonix and Pilot are super easy to max, Old Curse and Poison One are so-so, but Master Mage, not everyone is going to even bother touching her... so you can be your guilds hero by leveling her up, as an example. Remember, which ever side of the leader button you are on, be true to your opposite. For leaders, don't treat members as just raid ham meat, try to talk with them and find out what's wrong. TRUST me, you don't want to kick anyone with charisma, it will bite you back. And for recruits, don't lie about your skills. If you join a guild that demands 600/600. do it, or leave. Leaders can check all this info. For instance, if I sign on, and seen someone that did a raid everyday, but contribs like hardly any stamina, I kick them, I know they were trying to use me (I had a guy with 8 raids, so 4 days of playing, but his contribution was only like 92... now come on, I'm not dumb, at his level, the max stamina is 14X, your telling me he couldn't just raid ticket the rest?) Again, if you want to keep your guild a float and happy, never waste stamina, sign on for a few minutes at noon, 6pm, and 9pm and burn though your free ham, buy stamina twice a day min (again, this is for you mostly, helps keep you a contender), and don't forget about the daily 30,000$ admiration for another free 30 ham. Besides all that, know your guild before you join. If you are a social person and like to talk, don't join a serious guild. Serious players don't like to screw with BS, and can usually figure things out in an auto battle RPG for them selves. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~Shops/Treasure Chests There are MANY shops in this game, and right before I get to the VIP0 section, it is VITAL to (ab)use them as much as you can... after all, this is an arms race... get ahead fast, get better rewards, stay ahead. The Bronze Chest and the Soul Shops are very related, but often overlooked. I'll say the MOST important thing in the game: DO NOT BUY SWORD MASTER unless you want to only stay in the baby steps arena. I have NEVER lost to someone from my levels during 80-89 in grand arena who used him. You may say, well why? It takes 1200 X 330 soul coins to get him, but anywhere from 4000-8000 to buy a rare purple item. So figure if you spend the 396,000 on items instead of the sword master, you'll have an extra 25-50 purple items. By the way, sword master isn't the best, and almost completely out shadowed by Ember Blade. Ok, so lets tell you how to get them coins faster. Remember how the bronze chest spits out those 1 star hero cards and stones? Once you upgrade them to 5 stars, you can exchange them for soul coins. People cry "waa waa there isn't enough purple items in the bronze chest!", ironically, using this method, there is. This is the sole reason you don't need to farm the campaign for these heroes, I mentioned up in the campaign section. If you can get to the end of the crusade every day, you can afford to spend 1-2 Million EASY a day on these chests... and it will make an incredible difference once you start getting all your heroes to five stars. For the soul shop itself, NEVER buy an Ice Staff, Fanged Harp, and Yew Bolt Thrower early on, they are either commonly found other places, not used that much, or both. Go for anything Hew Ax, Anything Wizard Hat, and FULL Krelin Horns and FULL "whatever the F*** the yellow looking compass thing" is. They are pricey, but include a free Hew Ax in them. If you buy just the reel, you'll need to buy an Ax. This is the same with moonglows, but with ancient temples, you should have enough of those to where you should use your Hew Axes for them. See, the game needs A LOT of these Hew Axes, and THIS is how you get ahead. I promise you, if you DO NOT DO THIS, YOU WILL NEVER GET AHEAD IN THE GRAND ARENA. I got suspended from Heroes Charge, and I was even worried about giving this tip out to newer members as it IS SO GAME BREAKING, I DID NOT WANT THEM LEAVING AND GETTING STRONGER! I'm saying it now as I don't care what happens. See, doing it this way, can get you a purple item once every day or two (re- member, the store doesn't refresh multiple times a day, and there are garage days you should avoid). Try grinding in campaign for a single Kerlin Horn or "Yellow thing that looks like a compass" thing, enjoy wasting over 1000 stamina! (That was a VERY generous estimation, the actual total is between 2000-5000) Now, before you even read on, do you have this down? If not, re-read it, or you can drop massive amounts of money into this game, as once you hit the purple 4 and gold levels, almost every item needs a crazy amount of crap in it... and you don't want to waste raids on items you could of gotten somewhere else. Ok, you sure you got this down? Positive? If not, read it again. Ok, now a quick overview of the other shops. But this tips holds true for ALL shops, NEVER BUY, say, A GOLD ITEM WITH A LOT OF EASY TO MAKE PARTS, ONLY ever buy the hardest to make items. This is because even very common items are expensive, and are added to the price. The best example of this is the Destruction stone (it had +2 to your skill levels), it takes a Wizard Hat, and two different easy to get Books. So skip on this item, and ONLY BUY THE WIZARD HAT!, otherwise you are spending an extra 2000-3000 for nothing! Same with anything with an Ice Staff in it, they are easy to get, so you'll end up wasting money! Lets start with the Crusade shop. You should focus on maxing at least a few heroes here, not only are most useful for portals, but if you are a little short on soul coins, you can just rebuy the ones you have maxed to get a quick five. Since you get the most coins in this shop, it will hardly matter who you choose to upgrade first. But keep in mind, items are priced more in the soul shop, so don't just burn through your coins for soul shop points. Emergency only. The next easier shop is the Grand Arena, it's easier than the regular arena because it's opened later, I would try to 5 star only the important heroes (Fallen Dominion, Cloud Walker, Death Mage, Iron Hoof, Ember Blade), because the grand arena shop features A LOT of items you need for Gold+1/+2. The Guild Shop and the Arena shop are about the same in how faster you can get coins, but the Arena shop as WAY MORE valuable heroes in it, so I'd avoid buying items in there at all, and use the Guild shop for this AFTER you have your heroes you choose maxed (I picked Succ and Lunar, while Assassin and Die Bringer are also important.). The reg Arena as too many powerful heroes to waste on items early on (they include both dragons, kung-FU panda, and my personal favorite, Hidden Needle.) Again, I can't stress this enough, try to only focus on one hero at a time, and refresh the shops if needed (till the cost goes above 10 coins), this is very helpful when items are 40-60% off. Ok, so we got the bronze chest down... for the gold chest, here is a simple plan: NEVER WASTE GEMS ON OPENING IT. If you are low VIP and get a hero that is 3 stars, he is going to sit at 3 stars. It's better to use your gems on buying stamina. For the regular "Icy" shop, ALWAYS buy every item that costs gold, they are cheap, and will help you when you enchant. Try to avoid heroes that cost gems, unless you aren't a VIP and they are your absolute favorite hero. You ready for my last game breaking tip? ALWAYS SAVE YOUR CAMPAIGN STAMINA USES FOR 8:05 till 8:57. Why do you ask? There is a chance when you raid a normal stage, you'll get the Goblin Merchant, and the Godfather if you raid elite stages. If you find one, or both, they will refresh at 9pm, effectively giving you DOUBLE the merchants. They only stay for an hour, so this is why you want to start a little after 8. I had a non-vip who was constantly reseting this merchant with gems, he didn't use this trick. Basically if you are non vip, and get enough gems from the Arena and Caves to give you a surplus, this is where you want to spend your gems. [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~VIP0 Speed Guide Ok, since you want to become a pro, I'm assuming two things: 1. You aren't an im**** (sorry, but I'm being blunt, if you are asking questions that are either answered here, or in the in-game help files, you all ready don't have what it takes, buy the VIP card, and skip this section.) 2. You read every part of this guide, or breezed through it because you aren't an **bred (again, being blunt, but 50% of this guide is either common knowledge, or super easy to figure out... like if you need a guild member to yell at you before you stop doing your own A. Temples, i*****, and you don't deserve my help.) First thing to do is to make sure you are on a new server, if you aren't, you are going to have a tough time getting gems. I joined a late server to where I was getting 240-280 arena coins a day, you need to make sure you are getting 500. To do this, when you join a server, look at the top players and guilds. If there is one or two guilds, and the top players are around 33-35, you'll be fine. I was in a server with players already at purple. Follow the games directions, and set WHICH campaign heroes you want to farm ASAP, and do them everyday. You can't pick them all, but here are some popular choices: Vengence Spirit, Depth's Voice, War Chief, Silencer, and avoid 1 star heroes and crap heroes for the most part. Savage One is optional if you want to get the high ranks in raids... but I didn't care for that. You next goal is to hit AT LEAST the 700's your first day in the server, that can be tough, but ALWAYS keep your heroes at your maxed level, and focus on getting skills up ASAP. Money shouldn't be the issue, it should be that 5 minutes timer, so in the start, you'll want to sign on every hour and burn them up. If you can make it to the top 700's, you should never get lower, now it's important to get as MUCH team EXP as you in the early levels, once you get ahead, you'll only get better. With in your next 3 days, YOUR arena rank SHOULD NEVER FALL BELOW 200! (Keep in mind, if you are VIP0, YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO BE #1, there are always going to be people that drop a ton of money in this game, though it can happen in the long run, don't count on it early on, it's best to not even worry about these poeple, if you need help on this, just say to yourself "They are playing on Easy mode", or something like that... but not out loud, be humble.) Now, before we getting into who to buy in shops, you start with 5 heroes, you'll want to replace Chap with THE FIRST 3 star hero you get out of the Gold Chest, I got lucky and pulled a succubus, which can also be leveled up in the guild shop, so I stuck with leveling her up. You may get a crap hero like Pro Killer, he'll work, but don't get attached to him. The next hero you get should replace Lightning Master, then EmberStar. Admiral is ok to keep, but with the inclusion of Dwarf and Crusade Knight, there are options for easy to upgrade heroes, even taking out War Chief as the early "Must Have" hero. I mentioned Depths Voice and Admiral to keep or get because these are VERY important the all female trials. Ok, so once you hit 200 in the arena, you'll be getting 500 coins a day. For maximum bang for your buck, I'd start with Old Curse, not only will he help you in the arena, but he is good for portals. Then the next choice is up to you and who is in your guild (if you choose to be in one). Poison One, and Drunken Master are important for Portals, but you can avoid getting them if you join a big guild and they have many. Same with Death Knight, he is very important to the crusade. If you don't plan on using this shop to buy equips, it doesn't really matter which why you choose, but Death Knight will be used EVERYDAY and can't hurt to have a 5 star tank for grand arena. Now, for staying in the top 200's, you'll want an Arcane Sapper, good news is he's a 1 star hero, so don't neglect that bronze chest. You'll also want a commando ASAP! Which brings us to our next section... In between the Arena and Crusade, you'll open Rifts and Trials, they shouldn't be hard, but make sure you are dominating them before the next ones open up. In the Crusade, your first 4 times might end before the 15th... but that's ok, but after that, YOU SHOULD NEVER DIP BELOW A PERFECT FINSIH, and always try hard on the first few levels, they are easy. For anyone, ALWAYS max out Commando, then Frost Mage. I would then max out Pilot and Pheonix for the flying (even though pheonix is in the bronze, as well as Commando, it pays to have them 5 stared fast.) Pheonix can also be used in your first crusade battle, and almost win a stage by himself if you keep him charged. You can also get a tank. I choose windmaster, but don't get her, she falls off in later levels. Ok, now you have a choice, do you make a guild or join another? You are going to want to be in a guild no matter what. The free 240 coins a day is great. If you choose to make a guild, but don't want to worry about stragglers taking your loot, kick them all before you all start raiding, though this is scummy, and the items in the first couple raids aren't worth... basically it takes a long time to open a raid solo, but the key is TO ALWAYS HAVE ONE OPEN... if you are solo, and you don't have enough points for the next raid, go into battle with a level 1 and tank the fight. For Guild shop, you'll need an assassin to get your arena ranks back at 9pm, so either go for Arcane Sapper (who frankly sucks if he isn't 5 star) or Ninja Assassin. For Portals, focus on Die Bringer. The rest you can play around with, but once you hit level 80, I'd suggest trying to save coins for Staff of Rawlis and Silver Lances as they are rare, but not to expensive, but used in A TON of crafting. So at this point, it isn't hard to assume you'll have a 5 Star Commando, Frosty mage, Old Curse, any Tank. You will cycle out Frosty (who's important for the crusade more than arena) and what ever 3 star you pulled out of the Gold Chest for... yup, you guessed it, Fallen Dominion and Cloud Walker. Once you open up the Grand Arena, you'll want to FOCUS ON THESE TWO ASAP. Do not even question it. After this, focus on Ember Blade (I hate him, don't use him, but trust me) and/or Death Mage. She depends on if you didn't choose to up Death Knight... either way, you SHOULD choose one of them and put them in the merc camp, assuming you are in a big guild, you'll most likely get a ton of extra money. In the Grand Arena, if you bought stamina at least twice a day, you should start at 900-1100 area. Now, if you been getting heroes up strong, it shouldn't be hard to get into the 500's. Don't worry too much yet, as long as you can hold that 200 in the arena, you'll be find. Now, notice I skipped the portal section? Once you hit 60, you REALLY need to start focusing on that. Right of the bat, it's not for the items, it's for the extra team EXP, but once you have the grand arena open, you have a ton of options. Once you star up 3 out of 5 of those I mentioned, you should start saving coins to by grand arena equips for Gold+1/+2. Booty cave should be done everyday, put your team in for EXP, and dig for gold. You NEED these gems, so don't forget them! Around level 80, you should have a bunch of bronze chest heroes maxed out, make sure you ARE NOT USING THEM FOR SWORDMASTER. At this level, well much before it, you should have a solid two teams in the Grand Arena, and once your rank is in the 200's, now you have freedom to derank in the regular arena, attack 5 people a day if you choose and get free EXP. Once you get to this point, you should be finishing up getting the campaign heroes you choose to five stars, and you can add more funky heroes in the future if you choose... just don't go crazy, just because a new hero gets added to the shop, doesn't mean you need him. Last but not least, start enchanting at a purple +4 and on, and do it to your two strong team's tanks first, then any of Chaplins gear which makes her heal better (any item that has magic, INT, or Healing % up.) If you plan ahead, and use these simple guidelines, you'll be a top player on your server WITHOUT SPENDING A DIME! There is leeway, as I said, "I know a guy" that not only had a solid 15 gold team around the time people had barely 5, he also used Savage One for raids only, had a Spare Arcane Sapper not on defense, Chaplin, and even a maxed Death Mage/Knight just to dominate the merc camp. This was a speed section, for portals, on a VIP0: Pheonix, Pilot, Old Curse, Phychopath, Machinist are a must. Though you should be getting Old Curse for Arena, Machine and Phycho are in the Chests... I also didn't mention other no brainers, like Shadow Leaf (Chest), Fallen/Cloud for overall power, but these things you should either know yourself, or I said it before. Good Luck, I normally don't like luck, but it does help with those chests! Final tip I have? Save those raid tickets for a rainy day, or sell them when you have 999! [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~War This section is suspended as a result of "magical" forces. It was a means on how to systematically and scientifically destroy any and all groups bigger than you, may it be a guild in this game, another game, or even corporations in real life. I came to the conclusion that this info is best kept as an amendment to "Pandora's Box", as in no mortal may open it. I'm a "god" (or "crazy", doesn't matter, same results) so I can play around with it. As for the actualy "Guild Wars", they didn't add it in while I was still playing, so I started my own wars :D [][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][] ~Cast of Characters Finally, the staff role, keep in mind, THESE ARE MY OPINIONS, but I've been around to see who's good and who's Crap. Also I'm breezing through this, so It's not going to give stats and all skills or equips... remember, I'm suspended, so I'm going off of 6 months of memory. I have a BAD memory. They are in ABC order, so no table of contents. If you don't know the ABC's, please return your andriod phone to your parents, you are a liability with it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Admiral Appearance- A captain with a sex change (Email me if you get the joke) Found------ Bronze Chest & Campaign Summary: A very good tank, best choice for the female trials. A solid choice almost anywhere in the game... after all, when has the main char with a long sword ever been a bad choice? When she hits legendary, she gets even better, and she does decent regular damage as well. I love killing people with a boat... "Boat'D", or if a Cloud Walker or Ninja jumps the line "Backwards Boat'D" Extremely good VS long ultimate users, like pheonix. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ancient Protector Appearance- A Tree with a lantern. Found------ Grand Arena Summary: Rarely used, his special warps him to the back line and he turns the field in the Plants Vs Zombies. Not sure of his uses other than baiting the overused ninja assassin to attack him rather than say, a weaker black line such as your commando. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Arcane Sapper Appearance- An emo bobble head with two daggers. Found------ Guild Shop and Later Campaign Summary: Never use him on defense, offense only... he's a suicide bomber VS magic users. This is his only purpose... Though he's a "tank" he regens energy SUPER fast, and unless the enemy has a counter, you are getting some good damage off. If you see him on defense, hidden needle and depth's voice will destroy him... or at least beat him up pretty good. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bear Warrior Appearance- Blue bear with head gear. Found------ Campaign Summary: Much better choices for a tank, especially when you consider he's campaign only. He may have a trival use in the Phoenix portal, but many people say it's hardly worth it. He's rarely used, but if you see him, make sure you have stun, alhtough his special is strong, it's slow and easy to stop. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brute Appearance- Tanned "brute" with tribal flags on his back Found------ Campaign Summary: As with the Bear right above, he's not good enough to be worth the Campaign investment. Though I rarely seen Bears, I seen him, and never lost to one. His weakness is if you stack tanks, he can only kill weakened heroes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chaplain Appearance- A deer, often called the Goat Found------ Bronze Chest and Campaign Summary: Level her up as your 16th hero no matter what. Almost needed in EVERY crusade, trail, and story mode fight. I often use her as a humilation tool, but she is a good counter to Ember Blade who does too much Phyical damage to your squishy mages. A very good choice for defense if you have more healers to run out the time, but not in the Grand Arena. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cleric Appearance- The blue paladin featured on the start up loading screen. Found------ Bronze Chest and Campaign Summary: And overall weak tank, but good on the above mentioned healing teams. Has a good use in the "raged Blood" portal, but he is quicked overshadowed by tanks that can do damage, like Iron Hoof. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cloud Walker Appearance- Literally Sun Wun Kong, the myth DBZ's Guko is based off. Found------ Grand Arena Summary: Very broken, useful VS Missile heroes, like Succubus and Old Curse, as his clones with make them miss like crazy. Solid in Trials, the Pheonix and Raged Blood portal, as well as pretty much anywhere. His only weakness if Frost mage (if the special doesn't go backwards) or any of the mutli hitting chicks like Hidden Needle, Venge Spirit, or Lunar Guardian. Needle is a double edge sword as she can target a clone. Try to avoid using him with "single target" buff heroes, has they usually help or heal the lowest health hit pointed ally... which is usually a clone. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Commander Appearance- A female on a horse with a trojan headdress. Found------ Gold Chest Summary: U(n)cool made a dick move by making her VERY hard to get, let alone five star... she the most well round tank when it comes to doing damage. I never lost to a team using her as she was only 3 stars, but I will say this: She killed my tank in style. I suppose she has use in the Female Trail and the Pheonix portal. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Commando Appearance- Elf chick on a white tiger. Found------ Bronze Chest and Crusade Shop Summary: Max her out asap. She is literally a game changer, to where the only surfire counter is another commando. See, with her haste at the start, and arrow, she will ensure that you kill the other tank first. Iron Hoof's opening can counter this a bit, and she usually can shut up a charging dwarf. Her special isn't strong, but is usually enough to stop a ninja assassin. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Crossed Knight Appearance- Looks like a templar, walks goofy. Found------ Crusade Shop Summary: I never really used or played against him, so I have no idea... but if anything, he acts just like the knights in the Ancient Temples. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Death Bringer Appearance- Looks like Hell Boy Found------ Arena Summary: I don't know too much about him, besides he eats clones... so if you see him in the grand arena, don't stack Fallen Dominion and Cloud Walker. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Death Gore Appearance- A porkypine-pig. With a flail. Found------ Grand Arena Summary: People say he's good for the raged blood portal, but trust me, DO NOT WASTE YOUR GRAND ARENA COINS ON HIM. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Death Knight Appearance- Knight on a horse Found------ Arena Summary: Great in crusade, he can stay alive, good for raged blood, and can even be helpful in the physical trial. He has no real weakness, and can be the last standing man on a team even though he is usually in the front. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Death Mage Appearance- Purple undead chick Found------ Grand Arena Summary: A very good support mage, that can silence. As with the above knight, she can stay alive, and her special, as long as she is alive, does so much added up damage it's not even funny. She comes in with an opening attack as well. She doesn't really have a huge counter, expect many Ember Blade. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Depth's Voice Appearance- Fishy chick with a trident Found------ Campaign Summary: Although she has low magic defense for a tank, she makes up for it for utterly destorying Arcane Sappers. She's solid otherwise, but harder to get to five stars. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disease Bringer Appearance- Hampster in a hood Found------ Guild Shop Summary: No real weakness, can survive and summon a giant to piss off your enemies. Usefull in the Rage Blood, and Robot portal. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Drunken Master Appearance- Kung FU panda with a wicker hat Found------ Arena Summary: Was considered one the best tanks, and if you level him yourself, he can be an asset in the Pheonix portals. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dwarf Warrior Appearance- Midget in red armor with an Ax Found------ Crusade Shop Summary: His special misses too much for me to like... people say he's the new go to tank as he is very easy to get. Blind him for an easy counter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ember Blade Appearance- Cat looking Panda in red armor and two swords. Found------ Grand Arena Summary: He's very squishy, but VERY annoying as he has two moves that make him untouchable, and a special that goes off even if he is stoned/stunned/sleeping. He's a bullshit hero, and the only way to avoid taking a ton of damage is to use Chaplain to boost your defense and heal you guys once. I use Fallen Dominion every time I see this prick. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Emberstar Appearance- Red haired chick from the TV ads. Found------ Bronze Chest and Campaign Summary: A one shot nuke that takes a back seat once you start getting better heroes. She sucks in arena because you can't choose who to nuke, and will usually be wasted on someone who is about to die. She does have a very niche use VS ninja, but only if she is super strong and at the back line. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enchantress Appearance- Elf chick, reminds me of the ever quest girl Found------ Sign in hero at the time of writing Summary: I heard she can be used in the Robot Trial, but other than that, no one has seen her at five stars yet. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fallen Dominion Appearance- Emo dude with wings and two swords Found------ Grand Arena Summary: This guy made me hate the game, he is BEYOND broken. So broken, that the arena is less about figuring out how to counter him, and more about who has the stronger Dreez. I would say that Frost Mage is good to kill him, and Mystic can blind him, lowering his killing power, but if that team as a Emberblade or a Silencer, it's literally back to FD vs FD. He's super strong, bounces to the mid line AT HALF ENERGY, heals a crazy amount, makes clones, and when he reverts, HE STEALS MORE HEALTH!? Oh, and he can't be "controlled" so that Venge Spirit, Depth's Voice, or Old Curse Freeze does nothing. No one will ever respect this game until this hero is turned down. He's uses full anywhere damage is needed, and can easily take on entire teams. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ferryman Appearance- A black and purple Wraith Found------ Campaing and Arena Summary: Do bother wasting time with him, his biggest perk is he does damage when he dies... it's more of something to laugh at and brush off than to fear. It's sad because he LOOKS menacing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Forest Guardian Appearance- Male Chaplain Found------ Arena Summary:
I never fought or know a single person that used him... so take it from all
of us... save your coins for something better.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Frost Mage
Appearance- Blue undead chick, that floats!
Found------ Crusade Shop
Summary:
Her only weakness is she dies fast, but on the flip side, she can get that
special off FAST! It's a wierd one, doing crap damage to a solo enemy, but
the more that are clustered, the more it does... destroying clones.
She purple skill, that lowers magic defense, means she should be on ANY magic
party.
Get her ASAP if you want easy crusades.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hidden Needle
Appearance- Very white kunoichi with mask.
Found------ Arena
Summary:
I love her, her special is VERY hard to get off, so you need to work with her,
but once it does, it kills... and if it doesn't end the match, she gets a
shield,
that regens her energy... and it's usually game over.
The only thing that can stop her once the shield is up is weak multi hitting
things, like Death Mages special or Cloud Warriors ultimate.
She also does never misses, does MORE damage once silenced, and her damage
CAN NOT BE RESIST AT ALL! Holy damage.
Here was my super secret team, I would only put it in my grand arena around
9 o clock, and I use to get SO SO SO many coins...
Chaplain (to keep her alive)
Frost Mage (extra damage, and goes well with bunched enemies)
Ice Mage (to get specials)
Iron Hoof (Protection and to bunch everyone for frosty and needle).
Trend setter, try losing with that set up.
She is also one of the few heroes that can escape the freeze of an old curse.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ice Mage
Appearance- Chick that's on the App Icon
Found------ Campaign
Summary:
Easy to die, and her special doesn't scale well at higher levels, but she
regens your special meter, which can make all the difference in the world.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ice Spirit
Appearance- Blue Elemental
Found------ One of the Arenas (Grand I believe)
Summary:
Never really seen him outside my one guy in my clan... who said he wasted a
crap load of gems on him... I took his advice and telling you all now!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Imperial Executioner
Appearance- Blue guy, with white skull mask, and large AX
Found------ Campaign
Summary:
He turns enemies into chickens... AS A SUPPORT SKILL!
He's actually very good, but not used as much due to his stones being hard
to get.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Iron Hoof
Appearance- Centaur with and Ax
Found------ Grand Arena
Summary:
Sick of commando getting the first hit? Use him. His only real weakeness is
that he isn't strong...
Great for any time you need to stay alive in a trail or portal.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Light Bringer
Appearance- Guy with very spiked up white hair
Found------ Bronze Chest and Crusade Shop
Summary:
Crap hero, I'm not sure if he does damage, or just tickles you... never lost
to one.
He's slightly rare in the bronze chest.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lightning Elemental
Appearance- Very cool looking silver knight with shield and mace.
Found------ Campaign
Summary:
Strong special, but since he is usually too close to the front line, he dies
before he usually gets it off. More deadly as a story boss.
Avoid him, much better uses for staminia.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lightning Master
Appearance- Blue armored midget with two hammers, he doesn't hit with them.
Found------ Bronze Chests and Campaign
Summary:
Useless after you get your 6th hero, literally doesn't have a purpose besides
being one of the faster to purple hero... so he dominates 49-50... wait, no
he doesn't... he's that bad.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lightning Spirit
Appearance- Panda with an electric banjo
Found------ Bronze Chest and Guild Shop
Summary:
Never seen him used at high level, and with the other lightning heroes,
avoid him.
He's slightly rare in the bronze chest.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lunar Guardian
Appearance- Purple chick on a panther.
Found------ Guild Shop
Summary:
A solid choice VS clones, and even when paired on your A team as an extra to
boost up Fallen Dominion.
Her special sucks, but charges fast. She can't be countered... you just need
to take her hits lol.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Machinist
Appearance- Goblin with giant back pack
Found------ Bronze Chest and Campaign
Summary:
VERY strong, the ONLY thing beside a silence that can stop him is many clones
are his special only hits the closest enemy and doesn't pierce... the bad news
is, is that he can still clear you out.
If you fight him in the arena, you sometimes need to get lucky with a stun...
Or use an Arcane Sapper.
Naturally a great choice for the Magic trial and the cave lord portal.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Master Mage
Appearance- Red Hair egyptain looking lady
Found------ Campaigm
Summary:
Remember; SHE DOES NOT DAMAGE MAGE HEROES AT ALL! Only use her if the team
is stacked with physical or skill opponents.
Her exile is annoying, and can extend the match way too long...
She has a use in the flying portal.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mountain
Appearance- Big rocky guy in the TV ads
Found------ Campaign
Summary:
Another useless tank due to him being to long and hard to acquire.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mystic
Appearance- Wizard on a donkey
Found------ Bronze Chest
Summary:
People swear by him, but I enjoy fighting him. Remember, if you are fighting
him in the arena, he will almost always get his shot off fast, so if you want
to kill him, make sure you can kill fast.
Or use a Ninja Assassin.
Blind never hurt me, I used a hidden Needle...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Necromancer
Appearance- Skull with a cape
Found------ Campaign
Summary:
Never used him, the only person I faught that used him, I usually won, nothing
more to say.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ninja Assassin
Appearance- A ninja with fuma shuriken on his back
Found------ Guild Shop
Summary:
Too squishy for my tastes... and he misses a lot. He basically jumps to the
back line and does a CRAZY amount of FAST damage...
You really need to make sure you can either lock him down with a net, shut
him down with a fishy chick, or just straight out kill him with an
Emberstar or Fallen Dominion.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nymph of Sea
Appearance- Fishy Chick
Found------ VIP11+
Summary:
Seen her once at low level, never at a decent level... so I have no comment.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Old Curse
Appearance- Two headed dragon.
Found------ Arena
Summary:
Very annoying to fight as it will kill your specials.
He's great for both the flying and robo portal... his only weakness is a lucky
cloud walker clone and an Arcane Sapper... if the special doesn't go off, his
fire usually just charges your teams ulitimates.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Phoenix
Appearance- Orange flappy bird
Found------ Crusade Shop
Summary:
Very over used, and in my opinion, helps the enemy more as if will gain them
mad energy. Just make sure he can't do it forever, so make sure to have some
type of counter, stun, sleep, silence, etc.
He's a great counter in the back row VS ninja assassin as it'll take off
and extra five hits.
He's also good for the flying portal.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pilot
Appearance- dude in a plane who sounds like a girl when he dies.
Found------ Crusade Shop
Summary:
Great for the flying portal, but never really seen him used anywhere but...
He's used there a lot as he is easy to get to 5 stars.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Poisoned One
Appearance- Grey Dragon
Found------ Arena
Summary:
GREAT for the robo and ok for the flying portal. He suffers from one main
thing: He only attacks the front or first unit... he's great one and one...
but vs 5 he's just par.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Professional Killer
Appearance- Ghost rider without the bike
Found------ Campaign
Summary:
Great when you get him from a gold chest as he can stay alive, but once your
enemies get stronger, he just gets interupted too much.
I suppose he is good for guild raids.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Psychic Sword
Appearance- White hair chick with funky tri-blade
Found------ Campaign
Summary:
I barely got to use her in high level play before getting suspended... which
sucks, I heard she has a lot of fun uses.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Psychopath
Appearance- Green fat thing with mace
Found------ Bronze Chest and Campaign
Summary:
Very important for the robo trail, and his specials add a bunch of randomness
to the game.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rifle Man
Appearance- Looks like a Master Chief in blue armor.
Found------ Bronze Chest
Summary:
He has a limited use in the pheonix portal, otherwise his one skill hurts
himself too much and his special does magic damage... which he does not
excell in.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Savage One
Appearance- Male fish (Naga)
Found------ Campaign
Summary:
Good for guild raids as he will allow you to max damage, but the trade off to
me isn't worth it.
Average as a tank unless you get him legendary with the other fishy chicks.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Scorpian Queen
Appearance- A spider
Found------ VIP11+ at the time.
Summary:
I heard she has crazy magic defense... that's all I know.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Silencer
Appearance- Red knight with a shield.
Found------ Campaign
Summary:
Used a lot in higher level of play, but takes a while to get him to five
stars. I personally choose Shadow Leaf and Death Mage over him due to the
easier way of obtaining them.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shadow Leaf
Appearance- A dark/drow elf.
Found------ Campaign, Bronze Chests, and Early Quests
Summary:
Very good, not only does she silence, but she herself can't be. (Well she has
no magic) the only silencer like that.
Her special sucks VS a full team, but if it is her 1 VS 1, it does a ton!
She's abnormally strong for an archer with non ultimates, and she is also
a requirement in the pheonix portal.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shadow Shaman
Appearance- Blue ????????? with skull stick.
Found------ Campaign
Summary:
And option for the Raged Blood trail... but I never seen one used... anywhere
to be honest.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sniper
Appearance- Red mohawked guy who gets flung in the TV ad.
Found------ Bronze Chest and Campaign
Summary:
He would be ok, but he is like the dwarf up above... and CAN MISS WITH HIS
ULTIMATE! Along with the lighning heroes, and professional killer, he is
regarded as one of the worse in the game.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Soul Hunter
Appearance- Ritual clad nercomancer.
Found------ Campaign
Summary:
He is really good in cave lord portal... but he is not only hard to get soul
stones for, but his equips are tough as well (in his early purpleish equip
level, he requires BOTH a moonglow and a bag of holding... this is cool that
he gets that boost, but it takes some resources.)
If you can afford him, you'll love him. His special destroyes things and his
support skills HEAL OTHERS! Without a doubt, he is the strongest thing than
can effectively heal others.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Storm Lord
Appearance- Grey element in a tornado.
Found------ Grand Arena
Summary:
I never really seen him used at high level... so I can't comment.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Succubus
Appearance- BLue devil chick
Found------ Campaign and Guild Shop
Summary:
If there was a special that was the pure definition of the word nuke, it's
her... with her insane dodge and energy regen, you'll not only get it off doing
5 digits of damage at p4/gold+, you can also do it more than once if you use
her with a lot of "damage over time" heroes.
Her only weakness is the cloud walker clone, but usually kills a ninja
assassin. She gets her special off SO FAST that she can avoid getting screwed
over by the old curse.
She can also be used in the robo portal.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Swallow Keeper
Appearance- Sea monster with a squid on his head and anchor in his hands.
Found------ Bronze Chests and Campaign
Summary:
Noting note worthy... I'd only use him in the event you need a 5 star tank
and didn't want to waste crusade coins... other wise there are better options.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sword Master
Appearance- Red skinned dude with flags, seen on the TV ad and title screen.
Found------ Soul Shop
Summary:
He may have his uses, but he is SUPER expensive to max out. Take it from me
(or the shop section above) DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HIM, he is literally
a fashion model.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Turtle Fighter
Appearance- Teenage Mutant Samurai Turtle in a Half Shell.
Found------ VIP11+ Only
Summary:
I have never faught one... heard he was good and teams with him are hard to
beat/counter.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tusked Storm
Appearance- Green little dude with a blue mohawk.
Found------ Bronze Chest and Guild Shop
Summary:
Never really used him, but I guess his special isn't bad if you are looking
for a ton of damage...
He's very rare in the bronze chest, so don't count on just that for him.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Vanguard Warrior
Appearance- Can't explain him... besides he has a hammer.
Found------ Crusade Shop
Summary:
He likes to crash the party a little late... this gimmick is used for if you
want to charge up your second in line, but don't want them to die... best
used with Fallen Dominion or Ember Blade.
He dies too fast and has limited use in the pheonix portal.
Fun fact: you can kill him off screen lol.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Vengance Spirit
Appearance- Medusa
Found------ Campaign
Summary:
Not difficult to get in campaign, and two of her levels hold very good items,
so it's less of a chore (one being the bloody eye, the other being the Krelin
Horn)
She's GREAT for the arena, not only does her special have a chance of wasting
the other parties... but he one support skill STEALS ENERGY! So not only will
her's usually got off quick, but it will prevent anothers!
Only problem with her, is she is VERY weak if she isn't on the same level
as your opponents.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wandering Spearman
Appearance- Blue guy with head dress, he is the Raged Blood guy.
Found------ Arena
Summary:
I never seen him used... he's in a shop that is MUCH too populated with MUCH
better people.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
War Chief
Appearance- A skeletion
Found------ Campaign
Summary:
He used to be the most used tank, with three earily levels, he wasn't that
bad. I actually enjoyed fighting him, his revival just gave me more energy...
Overall his attack power is weak, but he's a tank, and does a good job at
tanking once he is purple.
Until then, he's useless.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Warrior Monk
Appearance- Minotaur
Found------ Campaign
Summary:
Like Brute, Bear, and Mountain before him... his use is overshadowed by how
long it will take you to get him.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wind Master
Appearance- B**** looks like T. Swift in her photo lol.
Found------ Crusade Shop and Campaign
Summary:
She's a great missile clutch at low levels, but isn't too strong at later
levels since her special is magic based.
I used her because I "collect" chicks and she was easy to get, but she was
usually last for me to upgrade... I wasn't foolish, don't be either.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Witch
Appearance- A witch on a broom.
Found------ VIP11+ ONLY
Summary:
She's a flier, so she can do the portal, but I've only encountered on in the
booty cave, and destroyed the team... I'm assuming it wasn't the A teams as
this person was VIP11+ and like 2 levels higher than me.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wizard Doctor
Appearance- Purple looking odd looking monster thing.
Found------ Grand Arena
Summary:
I have no idea what he does, and used to kill a guy who used him. This guy was
VIP 11+ and at the 85 level region was using an Fallen and Cloud Walker with
3 stars... so I can't take his Wizard Doctor serious, nor have any real
data on him.

Q: How do I do X? (Where X is anything I didn’t cover)
A: PSN me @ Vesperas, or email me at iwbdk@hotmail.com. Remember my email
account is without a doubt monitored, so do not send anything you do not
want showbiz or feds to see.
And Remember, if you are in the Scranton/Lackawanna County Area of northeastern
PA (USA) watch out of drug addict/thiefing/coward undercover cops like Kevin
Mackaliunas, the oath breaking slime of the Earth.
Which leads me to my favorite Grand Arena quote "You don't want to be
targetted? STAY OUT OF THE BIG BOY AREnA."
Come on, tell me that's not FUnny.
