The game depicts nudity and this guide does not ignore that fact. If you are morally opposed to nudity or are otherwise not legally able to view or read about it, please stop reading here and click the "back" button to return to the previous page. I tried my best to avoid using vulgar language throughout this guide, but there are times where I felt it necessary to convey the exact message the game had, using language that would be considered offensive to some. Please be aware that by reading past this point, you are doing so at your own risk and you may find objectionable words. I cannot be held responsible if you find this guide to go against your morals and convictions. You have been warned. I would like to say that this guide, as well as the other guides for adult 3DO titles I have written are 100% serious. I have received some e-mails making light of them. I have an appreciation for the worst of the worst in the video game world, and that includes awful pornographic titles for a failed system. I wrote this guide and all the others in the interest of preserving this shameful, yet hilarious, part of video game history. Almost every person I have ever had conversation with has never heard of, let alone imagined, pornographic video games. These guides are to help you understand what they are about, exactly, and help you realize that they are really not erotic at all, especially when compared to what is available on the internet today. There are a total of six different videos contained within the game as well as one sample video that plays at startup. It may be because the internet has desensitized me, but not a single one of the videos is erotic. They all feature women in various settings on and around a beach. It honestly appears that these women were posing for a photo shoot and this game happens to be a collection of the video taken during that photo shoot. There is no story line here, unlike other Vivid Interactive titles. The following will be a brief explanation of each video as well as a description of the events. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Controls (CONT) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the introduction screen, there will be a picture of the cover of the game on the screen. Right advances to the next chapter Left backtracks to the previous chapter A plays currently selected video C brings up help menu During video playback: Left rewinds Right Fast forwards X stops the video and takes you back to the selection screen P pauses the video. Press it again to make it resume Hold either shift button and press X to jump to the beginning of the chapter When paused: Right skips ahead a frame ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Video One (VID1) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Video One from the menu is the icon in the bottom right. Ironically it isn't even a video at all. It is a collection of pictures of the various women found within the game in different poses. This video furthers my theory that the videos contained within were all shot during a still photography photo shoot. A couple of highlights feature a topless woman, as seen from the back, and a woman dressed as a mermaid washed up on the beach. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Video Two (VID2) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Video two from the main menu is in the middle on the bottom. It is the only icon with two women in it. It starts out with a shot of the tide washing up superimposed over a shot of a blonde woman in a red bikini. She teases the camera before the picture fades and we are shown another woman leaning against a railing. The camera starts at her knees and slowly moves up top reveal a silver thong and matching tiny bikini top. The video then superimposes the tide over the shot of the model as we finally see her face. She is a brunette (and not half bad looking). After several seconds of smiling and looking off into the distance, she disappears and the red bikini woman is back, this time with a shot from behind. We can clearly see she is wearing a thong bikini bottom. She'll tease the camera for a few seconds then fade to the brunette woman in a different outfit. This time the brunette is wearing a sexy red top with a pattern on it. She smiles at the camera as she unties the string around her neck. She lowers the straps, but nothing more is shown. The shot fades back to the blonde in red again (this back and forth is obnoxious). There is a quick shot of her belly button before the camera quickly moves up to show her lips. When we finally see her face, the tide is superimposed over her and after a few seconds it fades entirely to the tide. We now see what appears to be a different blonde straddling what looks to be the mast of a small sail boat as if it were a stripper pole. She is wearing a blue and white checkerboard bikini. She poses seductively for a few seconds before the tide is superimposed over her and it fades to another scene. This is a shot of a woman in a white skirt that is being 'blown' around by the wind (she is clearing moving it with her left hand as well). We see up the skirt from behind for a nice shot of her backside in a dark brown or black thong. We then quickly jump to a close up of another woman in a blue flower print dress with the same 'wind' before the camera zooms out and we see it is the mast-stripper-pole dancer. The shot fades back to the white skirt woman, this time a shot from the ground looking up at her front side. It appears to be the brunette from earlier. This fades away quickly back to the previous woman with a closer shot of her face. She teases and twirls before the camera follows her legs down. The shot fades away once again. This time we see red bikini woman teasing once again. Then we see the brunette leaning over the railing of a ship in black bottoms. I don't really see the reason to do any more write ups of the different videos. Not only are they all pretty much the same thing, but they also are videos, which are best experienced by being watched. The fifth and sixth videos are better than the rest, but that isn't saying much. I will try to answer any and all questions in the FAQ section. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: What is this game? A: Super Models Go Wild! is an adult themed video game for the 3DO system. It was made by Vivid Interactive, which is a spin off of the adult film company Vivid Entertainment. Q: When was this game released? A: It was released in North America in 1994. Q: Is this a bootleg or a homebrew game? A: No. It is a fully licensed title for the 3DO system. Q: Will this work on any model of the 3DO? A: Since it is a fully licensed title, I do not see why it wouldn't. I have only tried it on the Panasonic FZ-1 and can confirm it works on that system. Q: How much nudity is there? A: Absolutely none. This is the only Vivid Interactive title that does not feature at least bare breasts. There is, however, a little implied nudity. That is to say there are topless women, but you only see them from the back side. Q: Is there any lesbian sex? A: No. There are only a handful of scenes that feature more than one woman at a time, and while they are scantily clothed women, they never take their clothes off and do nothing of a sexual nature with one another. Q: Do you know who the women are that appear in the game? A: There are five female names listed in the credits section, but I have never heard of any of them. Two are not even given last names. They are Jessica Watson, June, Keri Anne, Jena Behr, and Tonya. Q: Did these women appear in anything else? A: I did a google search on all of them and only one came back with anything credible. From there, I was able to find that another one may have done some other films. I found an IMDB page for Jena Behr, and from there found the IMDB page of Jessica Watson. Behr seems to have had the more lucrative career, if you can call a bunch of small roles in porno 'lucrative.' Here is the link to the page that I found for her: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0066987/ Q: What are your thoughts on this game? A: I have a full review that I wrote for this game several years ago posted on this site, but here is a quick summery of my thoughts. This game feels like it was a quick cash cow derived from some think tanks that thought they could film a photo shoot and sell it to make money. Every other Vivid title on the 3DO has at least some nudity to give it kemp value, but this one doesn't. Not even the twelve year old inside of us all can say this is any good. It is a pathetic excuse for an adult title. Q: I live in a region that did not see this game in retail stores. Can I import it and play it? A: Yes, you should be able to. As far as I know, there is no regional lockout on the 3DO and any game from any region can be played on any system. There may be issues with video playback, though, and since this game is ALL video playback, you could very well experience issues. Q: Does this game comply to Section 18 of the United State Code 2257 Record Keeping Requirements Compliance Statement? A: Because this game was produced before July 3rd, 1995 they are not subject to this law. Q: Does Vivid Interactive still produce games today? A: Vivid Interactive was a subsidiary of the much larger Vivid Entertainment that is no longer active. Vivid Entertainment, however, is one of the largest adult film producers in the country. Q: Where can I get a copy of this game? A: If you want this game, you will have to buy it on eBay as it is not for sale in any retail stores. Be aware that this game will cost a lot as it has pretty high value amongst collectors due to it being fairly rare and of an adult subject matter. Expect to pay no less than $40 US. Q: What would you suggest as an alternative adult title for the 3DO? A: In North America, Neurodancer! Journey into the Neuronet is a little bit better because it actually has elements of gaming and makes you work for the nudity. However, the women aren't very attractive. If you have access to Japanese titles, I like the Virtual Cameraman series as they do present quite a bit of a challenge, especially if you can't read a word of Japanese like me. Oneesan to Issho! Janken Paradise is also an interesting title that is essentially strip Rock, Paper, Scissors. It does not require that you have any knowledge of Japanese to play, but you may not get the full experience. It makes you work for the nudity, but not as much as Virtual Cameraman does. Stay away from any of Vivid Interactive's other titles, except for Mind Teazzer, as well as Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. Q: Are there any cheats or codes for this game? A: I do not know of any. If there were, I cannot imagine what they would do, other than possibly show the credits. Q: What other titles did Vivid Interactive produce for the 3DO? A: The other known titles are as follows: Blonde Justice, Immortal Desire, The Coven, Love Bites, Mind Teazzer, Sex, and Endlessly. There are also two known preview titles called 'Samplers' which are compilations of the video seen in several of their titles. There are also at least two unreleased titles: Raquel Released and Winner Takes All. Q: Can I host this guide on my site? A: No. I do not allow anyone to use my guides without expressed, written permission. I do not give permission unless I am asked, specifically, about this guide. I do not like automated e-mails. I will most likely only allow my guide to be hosted on a small website, usually one centered around the game or system my guide is for. For more information, see the Copyright section of this guide, at the bottom. Use of this guide without my permission is considered theft and will be reported to the proper authorities. Q: How do I contact you about this guide? A: E-mail is the best way to do so. My e-mail can be found at the beginning or the end of this guide, just remember to take the numbers 123 out of it because they do not belong. I keep them there to prevent auto scanning websites from obtaining my e-mail address. Q: What other guides have you done? A: Just simply click on the name Arguro at the very top or the very bottom (orange text in a black box) of this guide and it will take you to my contributor page. From there you can see all the different things I have contributed to Gamefaqs. Q: I really like your guides. Can I donate money to you in support? A: If you really want to, you can send a Pay Pal payment to my e-mail address which is at the top or bottom of this guide. Please understand that any donated money does not mean I will name you in my guide. It also does not mean I will do any special work for you and it certainly does not give you any rights to host this guide or publish it anywhere. I do not want the user to feel obligated to pay me in any means. This is a free guide for personal, private home use. I will not reject your offer to pay me, but I do not want you to feel it is necessary. If you do decide to donate to me, please only donate what amount you are comfortable with, even if it is a single penny. Once a donation is made, it is final and there will be no refunds. This is an odd question and I debated about adding it for a long time, but when I saw other FAQ authors had a similar question, I felt it would be a valid addition. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version History ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Version 1.00 completed July 14th, 2011 at X:XX pm Mountain Time --Version included the guide in full, including the description of the first and second videos.
