I wrote this guide and all the others in the interest of preserving this shameful, yet hilarious, part of video game history. Almost every person I have ever had conversation with has never heard of, let alone imagined, pornographic video games. There are essentially several puzzles from which to chose, and solving a puzzle allows you to view a pornographic scene that is a little more intense than anything in any other Vivid titles for the 3DO. While you still do not see any genitalia, the depictions of sex are much more real. At the menu you will be shown twelve icons set up like this: A 1 2 3 B 4 5 6 C 7 8 9 The numbers represent the different Icons on the screen, each being of a different girl and are the order in which I describe them below. A B and C all represent a different puzzle. Just because a row is next to C does not mean that it is only that type of puzzle. Each icon has three different puzzles behind it. To select a different puzzle, highlight the icon and press a letter button. A will always bring you to the puzzle game. B will always take you to the slider game. C will allow you to play the memory game. After beating each game, you will see a video. There is only one video per icon, so if you only want to see the videos, it does not matter what game you choose, they will all lead to the same video. They are supposedly harder with each game selection and with each icon selection, but I do not find it to be true. I suppose the puzzle game is the easiest, but that is a matter of opinion. I do not think the games for the icons increase as you get more left or deeper into it. The following is a general strategy for all three different games. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Puzzle game strategy (PUZZ) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- "You will notice that the jigsaw pieces are scattered around the screen. I would be grateful if you would put them where they belong. Use the control pad to select and move a piece press A to pick it up. Press A to put it in place. Mmmm... I know how I could repay you." This is your standard jigsaw puzzle that everyone has done at least once. However, this is of a naked people in a sexual situation. There will be a black box in the middle of the screen and several pieces located around it. Use the directional pad to move the hand cursor to any piece. Press A when hovering over the piece you want and the hand will grab it. You can then move it to the black box and place it. If you are right, you will hear, 'Good Job' and if you are wrong, you will hear, 'Try again.' The puzzle is 4x5, meaning that there are four rows of five pieces, or five columns of four pieces. There will be five pieces going left to right and four pieces going up and down for a total of twenty pieces. Certainly not overly challenging. Unfortunately, the puzzles are random each time, so me telling you where I see the pieces would be a waste of time. The pieces overlap each other so it can be difficult to see them all. You can move them around the border if you like. There is no limit to how many times you can move each piece, so go ahead and move something if you need to get a better view of the pieces around it. Once you have it in place and you hear 'Good Job', it is not locked in and can be moved again, so be careful not to accidentally select it. If you unintentionally place two or more pieces on top of one another, you will have to move the top one first in order to gain access to the one(s) underneath. The best strategy, as with any jigsaw puzzle, is to find the corners first. Since all the pieces are turned upright, they are the easiest to spot and place since they can only go in one spot. Once all the corners are in place, try to fill out the rest of the boarder. Start with the left and right sides, since they will be easiest to spot and, with the corners in place, will only have two pieces each. You can try to figure out which of the two spots the piece goes in by looking at the colors and knobs, or you can just guess. Since there are only two possibilities, if you are wrong, then you automatically know where it goes now. After you have both sides in, work on the top and bottom borders. There will be three of each, so guessing is a little more tedious, but still useful if you wish to go that way. Remember that all pieces are turned upright so there is no rotating involved. You just have to look for the straight edge on the piece to easily on identify which side it belongs. Once you have the boarder in place, there will be only six pieces left, and they all go in the middle somewhere. Here is where you have to use color and shape to figure out to where they belong. Look for a border piece that has a distinct color on its interior side and find a piece that matches that color. Also, look for specific body parts like breasts. You know breasts have to be near a head and they usually are no more than one piece away from a head. Keep an eye out for lines that move across pieces as these can help identify what pieces go where. After completing the puzzle, get a good look at the picture you are shown because you will need it again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Slider game strategy (SLDE) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- "This is the Vivid Slider Puzzle. Use the control pad to slide the top, middle and bottom pictures until they match up. After that, it is up to me." In this game, you will have a picture split into three parts. Each part can slide left or right revealing a different picture. Somewhere within these parts is a whole picture and you must slide each part to make it match up. There are three selections, each with five partial images for a total of fifteen possibilities. This is probably the toughest game because there are many pairs that begin to look like a whole picture, but you cannot find the third part to make it complete. What you want to do here is look for the same lighting and colors. I like to cycle each part two parts to the left (make the piece move left by pressing right) and just see what is available. Once you find two that match up it becomes really easy to see if you can find the third part or not. If you can, just sit and wait because it takes a minute for the video to load. If you cannot, then you need to find a different pair to match and try to find its partner. If you want to make this game easy, just remember the picture you completed when doing the jigsaw puzzle. It will be the exact same picture here (also the same picture from the memory game). Remember that you will get a different picture for each icon you select on the menu, but the picture for every game for that icon will be the same. If you start out and have two of the three pictures matched up, you can bet that these do not have a third picture and you can go ahead and change them to something else. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Memory game strategy (MEMY) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Ahhh... concentration. That's all it takes to find the matching tiles. Use the control pad and A button to match the tiles. When you make a match, the tiles disappear. Once all the tiles disappear, you'll see me in action." Memory games have always been really easy for me, but I will explain some of the tricks I use. First of all, the screen will be populated with twenty cards, making for ten pairs. The fancy black and white design you see is actually the back of the card. I spent several minutes trying to find the differences before I realized that. You have to press A to reveal the picture on the card. Once you reveal a single card, you need to find its pair. You will just have to pick another card and hope. If it is the right card, you will hear 'Good' and the cards will disappear, revealing a little bit of the picture underneath. If you are wrong, you will head, 'Try again' and the cards will flip back. I like to pick four cards that I know I can remember. Location is the hardest part to remember, I think, so instead of picking four random cards, I always pick the four in the top left corner first. You can use one in each corner if you like or one vertical column or anywhere, really. You may get lucky and find a pair in these four, but if you do not, you now have a starting point. Next pick another four cards. I usually go for the ones in the bottom left. Reveal one and if it is a match to one of your first four, you are good to go. If it is not, just pick a random card somewhere and if you do not make a match, do not worry. I try to match the first four cards before anything else. This process of elimination works really well, especially since there are only twenty cards total. If you reveal a card you know is a match to one you saw previously, but cannot find the previous one, it is a common error to continuously select the one you know first. Instead, since you know that one, try to find the one you saw previously first. By doing this, you will be able to select a different card if it is not the match and you may end up making a match by accident. It does not matter how you make the matches, just as long as you make them. The picture underneath will be the same picture for the other two puzzles on the icon you selected. There are at least thirty different images on the cards that I have seen. Most are of very ugly women. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Video One (VONE) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This video starts off with a blonde licking a man's stomach and chest before playing with his nipples and sucking on them. Then we see them kiss. She s wearing panties and the man is naked. The man lays her on her back before beginning to have sex with her in the missionary position.. She moans a lot and the man moans some. Then she is seen on her side with one leg up while the man continues to have sex with her in the same position he was in. She buries her face in a pillow and screams. Piano music plays throughout. This scene features one man and one woman. There are many shots of the woman's face and breasts. Her breasts are fake. We see the man's nipples many times as well as his face a few times. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Video Two (VTWO) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This video starts off with weird piano music. We see four people in total, two sets of two having sex outside in an old west style saloon type setting., The men are trusting from behind while standing up and the women moan a lot. Both men are wearing shirts for most of the video. After a while, one pair gets on a lawn chair type thing and they have sex in the missionary position. The man loses his shirt here, but it is still covering his ass. He is also still wearing his tie.... The other man wears his hat throughout as well as his shirt (looks like the same guy from Endlessly). This scene features two men and two women, though they stay in pairs of two the entire video (one man, one woman per pair). Both women appear to have real breasts, We see many shots of the faces of all four participants and a few shots of each of the women's breasts. A lot of moaning from the women occur. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Video Three (VTHR) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This video starts off with a woman bent over a bed enjoying herself. She looks up and then lays back down. We see an extended shot of her face before it finally pans to her legs to see a guy between them. The man's face is shows in full before the sound just gives out (is this a defect of my game or all games...? let me know if yours does this as well). We then see the man sitting down with the woman sitting in his lap bouncing up and down. The man grabs her breasts from behind. This whole scene takes place in an outside setting. There are many more shots of the woman. The video ends with the two kissing. This scene features one man and one woman. Sex is performed in the missionary style as well as in a seated position with the woman on the man's lap. We see many shots of the woman's face and breasts. Her breasts appear to be fake. We also see the man's face many times. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Video Four (VFOR) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This video begins with a woman moaning and a guy's face in the shot. We then pan down to see the woman and man together. They are having sex in the doggy style position on a bed. He is grabbing at her breasts from behind as she moans. We sit in this shot for a long time before it slowly zooms in on the faces of the two lovers. They kiss while still having sex. We see more close-ups of the faces from the front then from the side. Suddenly, the woman is on her back and the man is having sex with her standing up, then in the missionary position for some passionate kissing. The music is a light melody throughout. This scene features one man and one woman. The woman's breasts are real. There are many shots of the man's face and some of the woman's face. Her breast are shown, but not that much. They have sex mostly in the doggy style and in the missionary style in the end of the video. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Video Five (VFIV) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is worthy to note that the picture you uncover here is the only instance of the 69 position being shown within the game. This starts out with sex in doggy style with some thrusting from behind the couple. We see the man's ass a lot before it shows the woman's face close up then her ugly breasts. We see the man's face (same guy as the one in Endlessly?) and more close ups of the woman's face. She squeals a lot. Her breasts bounce frequently. Then we see her laying back and the camera pans to the shadows. This is interesting to note because we can see the man masturbating in the shadows. This is the only time a penis is even implied in any video. We then see the man standing and the woman sitting while he thrusts inside of her. We see more shots of his ass and face. They moan for some time before the video ends. This video features one man and one woman. The woman's breasts are real, though very ugly and torpedo like. This entire video shows the couple having sex in the doggie style. Several shots of the woman's face and breasts are seen as well as the man's face and ass. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Video Six (VSIX) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- It is worth noting that the picture you uncover for this video is the only one that features a clear shot at the woman's pussy, but it is clearly blurred. This video starts off with a close-up of an ugly man's face for several seconds. He is talking dirty to the woman while laying on his back. The woman is shown next, with a great shot of her breasts as she grabs at them. He continues to talk dirty. It becomes apparent that the woman is riding the man. She comes down to him and they kiss passionately for some time. She then begins to bounce up and down and talk about her tits. The man then gets up and lays her on her back before the scene suddenly and randomly moves to a bathroom counter where the woman is sitting on it as support with her legs wrapped around the man as they have sex, This is the first part where music can be heard in the video. We see shots of the two in the mirror with many close-ups of the woman's breasts and the guy squeezing her tits. Then we see the woman turned around as they have sex doggy style with the man's leg on the counter. I swear this scene is in either the Vivid title Sex or Blonde Justice. This scene features a man and a woman. Penetration is assumed throughout. Her breasts are real. They have sex in the cowgirl position, missionary, and doggy styles. Many shots of the man's face are shown as well as the woman's. We see her breasts several times. Almost every shot is from the waist up with only the man's left leg coming into view at the very end as he places it on the counter in the bathroom. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Video Seven (VSVN) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This little video starts off with a woman on her back moaning hardcore and grabbing at her tits. We see several shots of her. She is wearing a red shirt. We pan out to see another woman in a black thong sucking on her. They kiss before moving to another couch where the first woman takes her shirt off. We then see the black clothed woman licking the first girl's stomach with a good shot of her breasts. More moaning and close-ups (this looks like the same girl from the third video based on her fake fingernails) We see more breast play and hear more moaning before they lock hands and the video ends. This video features two women in lesbian sex. The first girl we see (in red at the beginning) has real breasts while the second one (in black) has fake breasts. There are many shots of the first girl's breasts and only a couple of quick shots of the second girl's breasts. We see a good shot of the second girl's ass in a thong and a quick shot of the first girl's ass free and clear. It features a cave woman and man, or possibly Genghis Kahn or a really bad looking Klingon. There is clear evidence of a blow job, as well as many shots of the woman's backside. There are copious shots of both faces. A lot of carnal like grunting from both participants simulating the caveman-esque experience. It appears to take place in a cave. This video features one man and one woman. The woman's breasts are real. There is an extended shot of the woman's ass from about a sixty degree angle on her left. There are also shots of her breasts. When did it come out? A: Mind Teazzer is a pornographic puzzle game made for the 3DO by a company called Vivid Interactive. It was released in 1994. Q: How much pornography is there? A: This title features more sex scenes than any other Vivid title for the 3DO. While there is no penetration shown, it is assumed in every video (except the girl/girl video, obviously). There are many shots of several different woman's breasts as well as butts and many shots of man butt as well. Q: Girl/girl scene? You mean lesbians? Are they hot? A: Yes, sort of. Lesbians in the porn sense. One is really ugly and the other is alright. The scene its self is not very good. Q: Who are the actors and actresses in this title? A: I do not know any names. I have searched but cannot find conclusive evidence of the people in this game. Several of the men do look familiar from other Vivid titles on the 3DO and at least one of the scenes is very reminiscent of a scene in another Vivid 3DO title. Q: Is this a bootleg or a homebrew? A: No. This is a fully licensed 3DO game, as are all of the Vivid titles for the 3DO. It is one of the few systems ever to have allowed pornographic titles to be produced for it. Q: Where can I get this game? Can you give me a link to download it? A: You can BUY this game on any number of online auction sites. I suggest looking around eBay, but this game will not be cheap. I will not tell you how or where to download it. Q: How good is the game? A: Well, it is considerably better than every other Vivid title for the 3DO in the fact that it does have some game play elements. However, once you have done each puzzle type once or twice, it becomes very old very fast. The porno scenes shown throughout are considerably more graphic than any other Vivid title, but still cannot be considered hardcore porn at all. Q: What are the other porno titles Vivid has produced? A: For the 3DO, they have: Blonde Justice, The Coven, Endlessly, Immortal Desire, Love Bites, Sex and Supermodels Go Wild. They also have two demo discs called Vivid Samplers. There are a plethora of unreleased titles that may or may not have been in some stage of development. Q: Is vivid still producing video games? A: No, as far as I know, they do not make anything video game related. They do, however, still make porn and are actually one of the bigger names in the porno industry. Q: Does this game comply to Section 18 of the United State Code 2257 Record Keeping Requirements Compliance Statement? A: Because this game was produced before July 3rd, 1995 it is not subject to this law. Q: How do I beat puzzle X or Y? A: The puzzles are completely random, thus me giving explicit instructions is useless as you will get a different set up than I got. Review the strategy sections for the particular puzzle type and keep trying. If you still cannot figure it out, press X to exit the puzzle and re-enter it to get a different setup. Q: Is there anyway to just watch the videos and skip all the puzzles? A: I am not aware of a way, but many programmers would put button codes into games to view all full motion video sequences, so it is not impossible that something like this exists for this game.
