Then if you get killed, you can reopen the game and not have to start over from the beginning. In this game it is IMPOSSIBLE to get through the entire game without getting killed. But part of the fun is the in some of the humorous ways you can die! Ray's Maze is a above all else, a game of exploration. There's always something interesting to see and do. And there are no "levels", so you don't have to finish one area of the Maze before moving on to another area. You can always come back later, in fact somtimes you have to get something or do something in another area to complete the current area. USE THE COMMAND MENU to move, look, rest, search, etc. SEARCH every scene, even if you've been there before. KEYBOARD ENTRY...Enter any commands that seem appropriate; SHOOT LOCK, DIG, SQUEEZE CUSHION, USE ROPE, etc. CLICK ON OBJECTS, doors, panels, gates, tiles, rocks, etc. ALWAYS READ THE TEXT in the text window. JUMP DOORS are interdimensional passages that send you to another part of the Maze. This is a one-way trip, and you MAY BE KILLED on the other side, so save your game before going through a jump door. Jump doors that flicker are unstable and will send you to a random location each time. Sometimes you will pass through one or more scenes before coming to a stop when you use a jump door. When you encounter a creature, you may fight it with any weapons in the weapons menu, or you may run. You may also offer it a bribe, by typing OFFER followed by the name of the object you wish to offer.
